The cub was currently lying still, watching as a curious little insect scurried its little body across the ground in between his paws. He had an amused smile on his maw as he watched the bug crawl to his paw and stop, tilt its head, and try to circumvent the obstruction. Zahran was an obnoxious little boy though, so with a smirk he moved his paw into the bug's way until it decided to turn around and head toward his other paw. Naturally, once it reach the end of its allowed path, Zi forced it to turn around and repeat the process. He'd been doing this for quite a while now, and while the thought of actually getting pinched by this little insect had already crossed his mind, he paid the warning signs going off in his head no mind.
"And so most are forced to lead a similar life, my friend," he said to it as he waited for it to turn around once more. "Going in circles, waiting for something to happen. Until, of course, we reach a breaking point. Then, instead of waiting for life to make the change for us, we try to do it ourselves." He dodged an attempted attack at the pads of his paws, his smile widening slightly. "Ah, see? After a few more tries maybe you'll manage to actually nick my paw. Only then, bug, will you manage to get rid of me."
