DEUS EX MACHINA PERSONNEL FORM
The Hunter Name: Mallaidh Finn Nicknames: Molly, Sweet and Petite, Red, Shakey, Gadget, Mols, Bird Whisperer Gender: Female Age: 24
Category: Mist Rank: Full Hunter
Personality:
-It’s a good thing you’re so cute…- Because she’s not the brightest crayon in the box, but she means well? Molly is kind, caring, and compassionate nearly 24/7. Why? Because she thinks the world has enough negativity in it already, so she wants to do her best to counter it. Because of this though, she’s also very gullible and can hardly say no to anything, even if it makes her uncomfortable. She’s a people pleaser. Molly also has trouble remembering things unless she writes it down.
-I am a follower- Leadership? Oh no. Molly very much likes being told what to do, how to do it, and when it should be done. It means less thinking for her to do, and less chance that she’ll be held personally accountable if something goes wrong (or so she thinks). Having nothing to do scares her, and if she happens to have idle hands, she’ll spend her time looking for something, or begging someone to let her do something.
-Mother hen or the Team Mom- Molly came from a very tight knit family, and with her parents always working, she’d often have to play second mother to her younger sister and helping to make sure dinner was on the table for her mother and father. Thus this transfers to her new ‘family’ at Deus Ex. She will fuss over your out of place scarf, try to feed you, try to kiss your boo boos, and whatever else she can do to be a mother figure. She loves it.
Molly has grown to actually enjoy sparring with her fellow Hunters to better her skills, but actual confrontation with any of them makes her incredibly nervous.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Molly came from a hardworking, but poor family that consisted of herself, a younger sister, a mother and a father. With her parents busy with work, Molly was often left in charge and home alone with her younger sister, who had a weak heart. A lot of times, when her parents were gone, being left alone was unsettling, like there was something else in the home with them, but it was always hard to prove when it just seemed to be shadows shifting out of the corner of her eye. Something always seemed be spooking her younger sister, and Molly could just never catch it in time, and thus it was hard to relate that to her parents.
A subway accident claimed her parents though, leaving Molly to care for her self and her sister (and the ridiculous stacking up of medical bills). Just to keep the roof over their heads and some food on the table, Molly worked many jobs, and as much as she didn’t like to, had to leave her sister home alone a lot. Her sister cried of things going bump in the dark, and as much as Molly tried to assure her otherwise, there wasn’t much else she could do but keep leaving the house for work. Returning from work late one night, a terrified shriek pierced the apartment, and upon arriving in the bed room, Molly had found that her sister passed away, frightened to death, and a shadow slinking away in the corner of her eye.
At this point, Molly had no idea what to do. The debt from the medical bills was looming, there were funeral expenses, rent was behind so many months, and she had no one to take care of. Something had robbed her of her sister…but an opportunity came. Something that’d make the debt go away, something that knew about the shadows, and Molly had nothing else to lose.
Her quest was here.

The Weapon Name: Vaska Nicknames: None at this point Type of Weapon: Lance Former species of weapon: Indrik - monster Gender: Male
Personality:
-High and Mighty Complex- Vaska was once a rather large monster, practically a king of his own mountainous domain, so of course he’d think he’s large and in charge. He can be rather stubborn and (pardon the pun) bull headed with his beliefs and opinions, and will always let Molly know what he thinks of the situation. Oh. His way is always the right way as well.
-I do what I want when I want- As much as a weapon can do what they want when they want, anyways. Vaska very much doesn’t follow the ‘herd’ because he’s the leader, and Molly isn’t a partner, she’s a subject to boss around. As long as what Vaska orders doesn’t contradict what the division heads are telling her, she’ll be inclined do what he says, much to his pleasure.
-Temper can fly off the handle- Sometimes it looks like nothing can get under his ‘skin’, sometimes the simplest things will offend him and set him off. This contradicts Molly’s usual pacifying personality, as she is quick to avoid confrontation, and here confrontation will be, in her head. When Vaska gets angry, he yells…he’ll also want violence, much to Molly’s dismay.
Weapon Ability
-Drilling Lance- (T3) Once fully charged, the drill bit on the lance will spin, delivering a strike that may be more powerful than a standard attack (Battle Cry)
-Drilling Lance- (T2) Once fully charged, the drill bit on the lance will spin, delivering a strike that may be more powerful than a standard attack (Battle Cry)
-Healing Lance- (T2) Once charged, a gentle touch will heal the target (The Chill)

Runic Weapons
Quote: Basic Weighted Chains Difficulty level: Basic Battle Effect: Once per battle, you can choose to target an opponent. For the next turn, the opponent's damage is halved. Non-battle Effect: The weighted chains wrap around the opponent, snaring their movability and making all their attacks harder to use. Requirements: Complete any mission and win the Miss Taken Tower. Proof Here
Quote: Basic Hand Torch Difficulty level: Basic Battle Effect: Once per battle, a player may choose to roll a 4-sided dice. This is the amount of additional damage that the player does for the next TWO turns. The torch will add additional fire damage to the Hunter's existing weapon. Non-battle Effect: The torch will act as additional fire damage stacked on to a Hunter's weapon. It also functions well on its own as a beacon. Requirements: Complete any mission and survive 5 waves of attacks in the training course Shadow Run. Proof Here
Specialization Molly is a safety specialist...which is just a general catch-all term for a bunch of things, ranging from general health and hygiene of hunters and their habits to making sure all the hunters know how to use issued equipment properly.
Currently she's in the process of collecting information from different divisions to gauge what they know of their equipment and what she needs to focus on.
