Molly was there, back at the training grounds, because she really wanted that promotion. Like bad. Like so bad. So there she was, standing, hands clasped over her stomach and just looking oh so wide eyed and hopeful. Though she didn't say it out loud, it was clear by her body language and look on her face that she wanted to spar someone. She was just really shy at asking.

Waving her bow around like a baton was not training. At least that is what Israfel thought of his hunter’s spinning saga. Plus, he did not like being tossed around and occasionally dropped. He wouldn’t mind floating but that was a bit of an impossibility. Still, Solia was adamant that spinning him and throwing him around would help her aim when it came to the feather like blade that were at the end of the bow itself. Marching bands did it, as did those armed people in the fancy uniforms that would occasionally stamp their guns on the ground and made it look super cool when combined with the sound it made, though the idea that a gun might discharge while doing that kind of terrified Solia so she would never attempt such tactice with a gun. A bow on the other hand? A bow didn’t have bullets, a bow had arrows, and those had to be launched by hand. Stomping your bow on the ground would not make it fire. Though, you did run the risk of damaging the bow or making it bend and break in a few places. Israfel was having some pretty dran intense feelings about being slammed into the earth and Solia not paying too close of attention to just how he was bending and it might not hurt him but it was mentally mildly uncomfortable to think about for the siren turned weapon. His tiny please and stops just lost as Solia kept going, her own mind playing music to do her little spin tosses and move to. Truly, Solia would be a master of her weapon provided she did not break it. A loud squawk from israfel had her stopping, looking for someone who might help her with a more direct training approach that wouldn’t upset the siren. “OH hey!” Spotting another girl she skipped over. She looked like she was up for a nice training fight. “Hey you wanna practice?”

Molly had been watching this girl spin around for a while...but she didn't ask her to spar because she was obviously busy. Busy spinning. Molly didn't want to bother her. She ended up zoning out for a bit until the girl was suddenly next to her, and the trainee startled. "O-oh! Hello!" Her eyes lit up at the question though. "Ah, yes please!" She nodded her head vigorously, and then stepped away from the girl, summoning her weapon. "Thank you so much um..." She blinked. "My name is Molly! What's yours?"

She was super cute. Solia giggled to herself as the weapon was summoned. “Oh man- that’s cool.” Israfel brought forth she grinned. “Israfel’s much smaller than your weapon- I’m surprised you can lift it, you’re TINY! Not like me but still nice and pretty packaged you know?” Backing up to get ready for the fight, Solia rocked on her heels- things she still wore while training, even after all her falls. “Solia Delacroix. It’s nice to meet you Molly!” A tiny salute she drew back on the invisible drawstring, a blue arrow of light forming to rest on fingers. “Hope you’re ready, because I won’t hold back if that lance says anything!” Like it saying hey I can totally wreck your s**t in one hit. "Oh...but you can attack from a distance!" Molly replied. "That's really useful!" Sometimes Molly thought it'd be cool to be able to attack from far away. "O-oh.." She turned a bit red. "Um...weapon bond!" She hastily explained at being able to lift her weapon, and smiled. "It's nice to meet you, Solia! Thank you for sparring with me!" Solia was quite a little hitter, too. Molly let out a yelp as she was hit with an arrow, and then charged the trainee, hitting her with her lance. HP: 41 / 50 DMG: 6 Charge: 1 / 3

Sure she could attack from a distance, but it was easier to dodge something when you had that mush space to react. Well sometimes anyway. Not everyone could cut an arrow mid flight but hey she’d seen it happen, (in movies). “It is until I misfire and hit myself.” She’d done it quite often when she’d started out- and now it was just..occasional. On accident. Because she still sometimes forgot to pay attention. “Isra and I have a good weapon bond too but man, nothing on you level!” Hit right after she said that, Solia coughed, stumbling back. “Alright, Isra lets show her what we can do!” The siren sang in her head, very much ready to show off his own skills. A rapid shot of three in a row, yet not too powerful. 385HP:42 DMG: 6

Molly blinked and stared at Solia. "How do you...hit yourself with an arrow?" She asked in a hushed awe. That seemed like quite the feat! "Ah, good, I'm glad!" Molly thought it was nice when hunters and their weapons got along... She winced though as she took three hits to her shield. "V-very nice!" She then moved in, and clipped the girl with her weapon. One thing unfortunate about Solia and spar was that she was and had been since her arrival to the island, insistant that you could wear heel to a spar and still be able to fight perfectly in said heels. While she might have gotten good at it, perhaps even skills, heels were terrible fundamentally for fights, and so when Molly clipped her, Solia fell backwards quite easily with a shocked yelp, landing on her butt. And having hit herself with her own bow, the arrow of light vanishing that she had gotten ready to fire. “Uh-“ She looked at Molly for a second before standing to dust herself off. “Kind of like that? Only not.” She draw her bow back finger tapping the string. “You get ready to shoot but rather the arrow doesn’t go anywhere and you accidentally just kinda twack yourself with it. Like a bad swing in baseball. You do not mean to do it, but sometimes it happens.” Sometimes being ‘more often than I would like to admit. Still, they were in the middle of a spar- Solia could hardly just drop the ball now. “But okay- lets do this.” She drew her bow back properly, the bright blue arrow resting against her finger before it was fire, (not backwards into her face).
