The problem with Ofelia's plans were that they really weren't plans at all. Most plans involved thinking, maybe even like some mild amounts of foresight, but seeing as thinking and Ofelia were rarely used in the same sentence it was safe to assume nothing ever happened like she wanted. For example her recent escape attempt had her back where she started from, recently chewed out to the point she was exhausted, and the teen could only muster up heavy sighs whenever someone passed by to show that she was unhappy.

Two-thirds of the time her unhappy sighs netted her the middle finger or a completely uncalled for remark for her to shut the hell up and go back to sleep. Such times of attention were pretty amusing to Ofelia, so much as she went out of her way to make weird sounds now, and eventually she was just sighing and chirping at random.

Of course it didn't last long, her throat was killing her, and the red-head laid back against her pillow with a bored expression. Was it possible to die from ennui? Ofelia didn't want to know, she just wished instead she had a hobby or something to pass the time. Like knitting, except sharp objects that weren't knives were probably a bad idea. So, with idle hands and a quickly souring mood, Ofelia looked towards the entrance of the door to her room. Hopefully someone would come in, even if it was to bother her.

Today, Ofie’s wish would be answered, for Molly was nothing if not entertainment.

Luckily, being a Mist meant Molly had a wide variety of tasks and duties aside from general trainee duties. She liked performing simple tasks in the infirmary, from changing bed sheets to stocking supply closets to bandaging the careless trainee, she liked it all. Today seemed to be changing bed sheets and checking in on a patient who was on the mend, and Molly was in as good as a mood she could be, all things considered.

Upon coming in through the door though, a look of surprise crossed her freckled face before it settled into a wide smile. “Oh, Ofie! Hello!” She greeted. She remembered meeting the trainee in the dorm common room once after talking on the Twitters…but then…her memory got foggy after finding her…Huh. Oh well then. Molly didn’t dwell right now, there were more important things to attend to. Like Ofie.

The Mist trainee approached the end of the bed and tilted her head, smiling pleasantly at the bed ridden trainee.

How are you feeling today?”

Ooooh, Ofelia knew this girl! As a friendly, chipper voice came into the room the teen did her best to turn in look, which actually meant she just turned her eye as best she could and hoped whomever it was would come into view. When they did, and the red curls and friendly face plopped into sight, a grin of ease and delight covered Ofelia's previously scowling lips. "Hey." She croaked out, trying to sit herself up more. It didn't hurt as much as she thought it would, perhaps it was the pain medication, and she shifted until everything was in a better view.

"Yer. . . Molly, right? S'been a while, how. . . .have ya been?" They had met before but Ofelia barely remembered it, not that she felt bad admitting to it. Molly was here now, that was good, and the teen kept the grin on her face. Was Molly on the mission with everyone? Ofelia had been so wrapped up with her small group it was very possible she never noticed her. "Ah'm . . .a bit sleepy. Did.. . . didn' think Ah'd. . . get torn up so bad."

She tried to chuckle but it didn't go over so well.

“…Oh…I’m doing okay.” Molly’s smile looked a bit melancholy for a moment before she smiled wider. “Thank you for asking!”

The woman nodded her head in regards to Ofie’s words. “Oh, I’m sorry! I hope I wasn’t interrupting you getting any sleep!” Molly’s hand came up to cover her mouth a bit as a worried frown pulled at her lips and brows. Oh, she really hoped she hadn’t been bothering the Sun trainee. “If it’s alright with you, I’m here to change out your sheets…I imagine sleeping on something fresh would be nicer, right?”

Besides, Molly was a big girl with an equally big weapon, she could handle shifting a fragile patient around. "Well, the important thing is that you're still here with us!"

"Oh no...no! Ya can stay here." Ofelia did her best to not sound so desperate in spite of practically reaching over to grab Molly's arm. Her eye was wide, showing her need, and she just as swiftly moved back with her cheeks flushed bright red. Was she really that desperate for company? She must have looked so ridiculous, and her cheeks stayed so red as she thought about it. Any company was amazing company and Molly was (through the rumors and gossip Ofelia sort of heard) a woman who basically was just...perfect. Super lady-like, compassionate - all the things people wanted to be with.

There was a chance the redhead could be jealous if she thought about it but that seemed overly petty and Ofelia wasn't used to being petty. In fact she also wasn't used to people fawning over her so today was a weird day for everything. "An' . . .if ya...dun really mind. . . .please. . .change them. It's...okay. . .wit' me." She felt awkward, like a little child, and it was hard not to suddenly just, well, snap.

Ofelia was determined to get over it though, and she pressed a grin to her face and finally focused back on Molly. "S'good. . . ta still be here. Ah'd. . . hate ta miss. . . adventures, yanno." Speaking of adventures. "Were. . . ya...there? Wit' . . .the last....mission?"

She didn't remember seeing Molly there, and if she was. . .did Molly know what Ofelia did to Bix?

Molly seemed surprised when Ofie reached out to grasp her arm, though it only lasted as long as her hold before her expression shifted back into a soft smile. “Okay.” She murmured. “Just as long as it’s okay with you.” She confirmed, and then smiled wider. ‘Oh, no, I don’t mind at all! That’s why I’m here…I’m sorry to bother you with the hassle of moving…but don’t worry! I won’t let you fall, I promise.” Molly then moved towards one of the nearby linens closet where she pulled out a set of fresh seats and returned, placing them on the foot of Ofie’s bed.

At the Sun’s question, Molly paused, and then softly shook her head. “…No…I wasn’t…” She murmured, her smile fading a bit. “But I…um…heard about it…” That, honestly, was all Molly wanted to say or hear about on the matter. She would never physically say that she didn’t want to talk about it…but the expression was clear on her face, despite her assuring smile.

She didn’t want to hear or talk about the mission anymore.

Molly moved up over to where Ofie sat, and leaned, offering out an arm and shoulder. “…Alright…now we’re just going to gently swing your legs off to the side, and you can wrap your arms around me…and I’ll do the rest. No worries.”

"Ah...see." And that was all Ofelia had to say about the incident with the mission. Her friend didn't want to talk about it and Ofelia didn't want to tell about it. She was still trying to come to terms with it in her dreaming and waking hours so talking about it? Not really gonna help, at least not in her case. Plus her companion seemed set on something to do, bringing up a topic that could distract her from that might be in bad taste? It was always so much easier to ignore and deny.

Ofelia was in much better shape to move with Molly than she had been before when other people tried to shift her, and so she was more than willing (and able) to swing her legs with relative ease. Days of just laying here and not trying to be too active had given her the chance to relax, seeing as she wasn't in the same level of stress she'd been when she messed with that one death kid. With a grunt she managed to get more upright, her sleepiness easily traded off for excitement of being able to talk to someone, and she shifted her legs over so that most of her weight was on them and her shoulders were free.

Molly seemed to be a girl who could hold some weight, meaning (in Ofelia's mind) she looked really strong, and when the redhead was asked to reach out she did hesitate a bit in doing so. It wasn't that she was worried about weight, or crushing her, it was just that her shoulders were really stiff and the stitches had been getting red lately due to all her moving around. It needed done though and so with a hissing wince she started to move, ready to go.

"S'all. . . good. . . wit' me. Whenever....yer ready." She smiled, usually something she didn't do. Ofelia preferred grinning, as smiles had to be most of the time honest and sincere, but grins were....grins. For Molly though, Ofelia would smile.

Molly deserved a smile.

The subject was dropped, and Molly was oh so relieved. She instead focused on getting Ofie safely up, and was relieved to see that the Sun trainee had relatively ease swinging her legs over. That was good! That definitely meant that she was on the mend! Molly grasped one of her wrists that was over her shoulder, and then firmly, but gently, wrapped her other arm around Ofie’s waist. “Alright…” Molly murmured, smiling back at Ofie in return. “On the count of three, I’m going to ease you up to stand…One…two…and three!”

Molly helped to ease the young woman off of the bed and standing, holding firm if Ofie happened to wobble or teeter. Once she seemed alright, Molly smiled again at her encouragingly. “We’ll go set you in that chair right there—“ She nodded her head to it “—If that’s alright?”

"Chairs...are awesome." Ofelia responded like a little kid, her gray eye bright and focusing ever so watchfully on Molly. She was right about her strength, the way she moved Ofelia like it was no big deal, but the teen did want to admit she tried to help a little with the lifting and standing and mostly depending on Molly like the child she was.

Of course Molly hadn't been there so she still had her weapon, right? That would naturally make her stronger so there wasn't a need for the redhead to try too hard. It was the thought that counted and her basic desire for efforts that propelled her onward. At least her touch and movement were mild enough that the sun trainee didn't feel any strain on her stitches or unneeded aches so that was good in her favor.

The count of three saw her standing on her own two feet just fine, not nearly as shaky as she had been many times in the past, and together they made it over to the chair when the teen sat herself. "Thank ....ya as ....always, fer comin' in an' ....doin' this." Changing sheets wasn't really that big of a deal but Ofelia appreciated the notion none the less.

Anyone willing to spend time with her was amazing.

Chairs are awesome.” Molly replied with a cheerful tone. Once Ofie seemed seated securely, Molly let her go, standing nearby for a moment, just triple checking that the Sun Hunter would be okay. “Oh goodness, you don’t need to thank me, Ofie!” Molly assured, waving her hand a bit. “It’s my pleasure! I’m glad to help!” She then spun on her heel, and turned back to the bed. Molly started to pull off all the blankets and sheets, and folded them neatly before placing them onto the floor. She hummed a bit while she worked, and then looked at Ofie over her shoulder.

Is there anything else I can get for you? Do you want any books or word puzzles or…um…something?”

"Ta be honest Ah can' ....read really well so stuff like books an' word... problems are beyon' ...sommin' Ah can do." Ofelia admitted, sitting easily in the chair. "Ah wanna learn ta be ....better, jus'. . . need ta be shown ...how Ah guess." Before she couldn't or wouldn't have said anything like that so openly, it would have at least caused her cheeks to color, but seeing as the only other person who knew her limited skills was. . . someone she didn't want to think about it never hurt to tell someone. Plus Molly didn't look like a person who'd make fun of her for it - in fact, Molly looked the type to help Ofelia learn if she wanted.

Of course that was all entirely in the teen's head and she really didn't expect anyone to want to offer a hand to her. Or help her with anything really, since they all had their own stuff. Being in the hospital was the one place where people had to help her so none of this really counted. Perhaps getting injured was going to use all her kindness karma and that would really suck. "If ya really...wanna do sommin'. . . .jus'...talkin' wit me is....good. Maybe...tell me more 'bout...yerself? We're...practically strangers....despite comin' from...the tubes tagether."

Didn't they come from the pods at the same time? Ofelia was pretty sure they did, but Molly was. . .hmm. Well, maybe not, but still it never hurt to ask someone to tell about themselves.

After stripping the bed of all its linens, Molly then started to place the fresh ones on. She paused as Ofie admitted she couldn’t read well, and her brows furrowed for only a moment, in thought. “…Oh…that’s alright!” She assured, smiling over at the teen. “There are plenty of other things to do that don’t involve reading after all!” Molly of course would try to help her if she wanted, but she didn’t think she was exactly qualified to teach someone to read.

Oh…just talking? Alright then!” Molly could do that easily, and she hummed a bit cheerfully as she tucked some of the sheets underneath the mattress. Honestly, she wasn’t sure who she was close with in regards to getting out of the pods, as she had woken up by herself…but oh well! “Well…um…my favorite color is green…and I like clovers…my favorite flowers are sunflowers…I play the fiddle…um…I was born in Ireland…and then moved to the United States when I was young…” She paused, and looked over at Ofie. “How about you?”

"Ya...wanna know 'bout me? Huh." That was...actually a bit unexpected. Ofelia had been nodding along, adding a few words of interest here and there with a heavy emphasis on acknowledgement, so when Molly went around and asked her about herself Ofelia was a bit taken aback. Not many people wanted to know about her, even though sometimes she sprinkled information about herself in conversation (as most everyone did as well), so to be outright asked had her somewhat scrambling for a reply. "Well. . .Ah was born in Montana. . . .Ah think. Ah. . .dun really 'member 'cause Ah got. . .sent ta live wit'. . .mah aunt when....Ah was 'round six?" Her memories of them were so foggy that she couldn't recall their names or faces, which should have been a shame. "Mah brother. . .went wit' me an' . . .that was in Georgia? Ah dun. . .'member mah aunt's name, or mah brother's. Sad, huh?"

The more she thought on it the more her life seemed really plain. "But. . .that's all fer that. Lived there...till Ah came here. Mah favorite things though. . .um.. . ." Wow, she was pressed. "Brown fer color, dinosaur fer animal."

Molly's brows furrowed a bit. "Well... Of course I want to know about you!" She replied. "I mean if you don't ask how are you supposed to learn?" She giggled softly, smoothing the sheets she had laid fresh on the bed before turning to give the trainee her full attention.

She nodded her head as Ofie spoke and beamed. "Ooooooh Montana! That sounds so wonderful... Is it like the movies... Large and expansive? With cattle roaming about?" Molly then frowned softly and sympathetically. "No I don't think it's sad... And I'm sorry." She came over and laid a gentle hand on Ofie's shoulder. Eager to help her get her mind off of it she kept on. "Oh! How creative! I would have never thought to have said a dinosaur! What kind of dinosaur do you like?"

"Um...Ah like...all...dinosaurs." Did Ofelia really have a favorite? Nope, she didn't. "Ah mean....really, all....a...'em." If she had to be pressed to pick which one she liked most then someone might as well just be pressed to pick their favorite child or something. While the choice wasn't really that extreme it just meant that her love and enthusiasm for all of them was evenly spread. "If...Ah had ta pick...a second favorite...animal...maybe..shark?" Sharks as a second place favorite was perfectly acceptable, right? "Sharks are....really cool!"

There was entirely too much happiness in that statement, mostly because Ofelia's face seemed to light up talking about them and she may have tried to move which wasn't really an amazing idea. It should also be noted that she didn't say she had a favorite type of shark either. It was always too hard to narrow things down. "Ah...dun really like....pigeons though. They...Ah don't trust...'em."

Why pigeons? Why not.
