In her motivation to finally reach full Hunter, Molly knew she was lacking a lot of good skills…and one as such, was confidence. Yeah. Definitely lacking that one, and when she thought about who exemplified it here on Deus, plenty came to mind…but one such who left an impression on her was Allan-taichou. She didn’t forget the way he busted through the walls in the HQ and took out an Insanity phoenix with one sweep of his weapon.

Such confidence.

There was no hesitation in his actions! He was really brave, and as he should be, considering he was the Head of the Sun Division…

That made Molly nervous. She wanted to speak to him…to see if he could impart some words of wisdom to her…but he was a Divison lead…he was probably super busy and had lots of important things to do than talk to her! While lamenting her lowly status, Molly happened to be passing the Training Field, and habit of seeing who was up to what had her looking…

She gasped.

He was right there…but Allan-taichou didn’t seem to be…training…

Molly’s brows furrowed, and she spent a good five minutes anxiously standing there trying to build up the nerve to just go ask the Sun Lead something.

Finally she did…because the worst he could say was no, right? The Mist trainee slowly inched her way closer and closer to the Sun Lead before she squeaked.

“Um…A-Allan-taichou sir…? Um…mi-might I have a moment…if you’re able…?”

Allan was training alright. As in training his Pokemon. His Pikachu had already hit level 100 and he had just finally beaten the first gym leader, well more like Simon had to sit him down and walk him through how to beat a gym leader with Noah (his weapon) backseat commenting the entire way about how electric types don't work against certain other types, so on so forth, which basically had turned the Sun lead's otherwise innocuous attempt at playing Pokemon into some inadvertent hardcore Nuzlocke run where you could not swap Pokemon out, and oh, you only had one Pokemon, and oh, it was a Pikachu.

He had just exited out of a battle by defeating an oddly coloured wild Pokemon (seriously, everyone knew that Pikachus were yellow, not orange, silly game!) when he saw Molly fast approaching. He flipped closed his 3DS and beamed. "Of course! The road to a Pokemon master is long, but we must look into the future, the future of beating the Elite Four!" He began to sing the first few lyrics of the Pokerap.

Molly fidgeted with her hands, rather surprised actually, at how cheerful and approachable Allan was…though she wasn’t sure what Pokemon were…er…maybe she had heard briefly about them…little…pocket monsters? Oh wait…beat the Elite Four? Molly looked like a deer in the headlights, and she thought the Sun Lead was implying that the head of the Divisions needed to be defeated…So…Caelius, H, Aria, himself…er…wait…Then there was the Moon Division…hrm…that was five…and then Molly thought the jury was still out on the Angel Division and the Shower Division.

This was confusing.

The trainee also politely waited until there was a pause in Allan’s Pokerap to speak once more.

“Um…what’s a pokemon master…sir?”

"Hmmmm a Pokemon Master is..." Allan began, thinking deeply as if this was somehow a very important thing that every single Hunter should absolutely know, "well, if I had to put it into words, it would be when you master Pokemon." Sage nod, in all seriousness. He suddenly slapped his fist into his other open hand. "I know! We should go on an adventure to discover how to be a master of Pokemon together. Will you come with me, and journey into the world of Pokemon?"

For some reason he had summoned his weapon. What this had to do with Pokemon, one would never know.

Molly leaned a little bit closer to Allan, because this was a very serious matter. She was picking up on the serious atmospheric vibes. She let out an awed ooooh once Allan answered, and nodded her head a bit. Well, to master anything at all was a very commendable thing indeed so…to be a master of Pokemon was nothing to take lightly! Even if she still wasn’t sure exactly what they were.

The trainee startled as Allan slapped a hand into his fist, and looked rather surprised at the question, but who in their right mind would tell a Division Lead no?

“Y-yes, sir!” She squeaked, and then gestured to his weapon. “Um…should I summon mine too?”

Allan laughed heartily a few times. "Of course! As Simon always says, to summon your weapon to battle is to fight with the heart of the Pokemon cards!" It was highly doubtful if this was something the Sun assistant actually said. "Now, to battle!"

He ran a grand total of two steps and then came back sheepishly. "Hang on, I forgot the location- no wait, aha! Allan-taichou the Pokemon trainer remembers! Pokemon away!"

Before Molly could actually summon her weapon, the Sun lead grabbed her firmly by the shoulders-

- And pulled her into a portal.

They arrived with Allan somehow carrying Molly on one shoulder before he put the Mist trainee down. They seemed to be at some sort of log cabin in the middle of a great wilderness. The cabin itself said in bold red " No Suns invited I swear to god Allan if we have to rebuild anothe holiday resort because of you- etcetc", it trailed on for a bit. There was a beautiful pristine lake next to the cabin complete with a small dock and in the backdrop some rather scenic snow-capped mountains.

"Okay!" Said Allan, entirely not noticing the red sign on the door, his weapon drawn. He assumed battle stance. "Are you ready to train to be a Pokemon master? Hit me with all you got! Shout to the skies your kokoro and let the passion burn into your spirit! We will fight until we both become the masters of Pokemon!"

Molly nodded her head, wide eyed and snowed.

“O-okay…!” She was about to summon her weapon…yeah…until she was taken by the shoulders and then taken through a portal. How she ended up on Allan’s shoulder she wasn’t exactly sure either…but Allan-taichou was so strong. So strong. Still wide eyed with awe, Molly stood still as she was put down after going through the portal, and just started at her new surroundings. She hadn’t been off Island in months! This was so pretty!

Also, like Allan, though she was concerned about that red writing…she ignored it as well! Ignorance was bliss. “A-ah…yes! Um…I’m ready Allan-taichou-sir…uh…a-as ready as I can be!” Though not sure what a kokoro was, and how sparring was going to make them Pokemon Masters, Molly summoned her lance regardless, and slid into position. Sparring was easy, sparring was something she could do...plus against a Lead, she wasn't worried about harming him. Molly stepped forward and jabbed her lance at the Sun Lead.

"L-like that?"

The blow was solid and it sparked Allan's Pokemon master battle spirit. He grinned ear to ear, taking a few steps back. "Well done, but now, our true Pokemon master training begins!"

Actually, Allan had absolutely no clue how they were ever going to become Pokemon masters. He had absolutely no clue how they were ever going to become Pokemon masters. What he knew however were these three simple facts of life:

1) To achieve Bankai, one must believe in the heart of the Pikachu, Piccolo.
2) Everything he had ever accomplished he had done by swinging his weapon and shouting very loudly.
3) Everything he had ever accomplished he had done by swinging his weapon and shouting very loudly.

Allan leapt into the air, and for a fantastic second the sun glinted off his broadsword, which had attempted to humour him by sprouting a set of Pikachu-shaped ears at the tip. In consideration for holding back,
the rper ******** decided to roll 2d12 instead of Allan's usuall 2d20 AND STILL GOT SOME RIDICULOUS DICE ROLLS Allan instead took the time he usually did to focus and perfect his technique into being extremely elaborate and fancy. He did about five flips mid-air, and might have possibly defied gravity on the way down as he shouted some words about Bankai and Piccolo and then just as fantasically plummeted right into the lake, showering everything around it, including Molly, in a torrent of water and causing a shockwave that nearly collapsed the cabin and caused almost all the trees and most likely the Mist trainee to go flying backwards.

He managed to pick himself from the crater of what might have been the lake and then slung his sword onto his back before climbing out of the crater to give Molly a double thumbs up. "Well, are we Pokemon Masters yet?" Wait, why was he asking Molly?

She was being praised…ow, her feels. So happy. “Ah, y-yes!” She nodded her head eagerly, curls bouncing, and waited with baited breath for Allan’s next move.

The trainee let out a startled sound as Allan leapt into the air…and then more or less proceeded to prove to Molly why she’d never become a good Hunter. Look at him go. Molly’s mouth fell open and her eyes went wide as Allan showed off his mad skills. He blew her away with his skills. Literally.

The next thing Molly knew was that she was soaked, her hair was flat, she was on her bottom and not in the same spot she had been standing in before, and her weapon was embedded in a nearby tree. Funny enough, she didn’t care though. She was still too busy being dazzled by Allan and his skills.

She pushed herself to her feet, and just couldn’t help but enthusiastically clap for him, though she stopped at his question.

“Uh…”

She looked like a deer in the headlights again.

“D-did we master Pokemon, Allan-taichou-sir…?” Allan said they were Masters when they mastered Pokemon…whatever those were.

Allan misheard Molly's question as a statement, and stood straight and proud, taking a second to pose. "Hooray! I knew with the power of inner strength, we could conquer anything! I hereby name us the elite Pokemon Masters of Deus Ex!"

And then he sneezed. And then sneezed again.

The Sun lead sniffled. "Well, we would be Pokemon masters if we weren't at low health. Oh, I know! We should heal at the Pokemon center!" He didnt bother knocking as he pretty much ripped the handle of the cabin door off its hinges. It was pretty dusty inside, but the area was well kept. A small fireplace adorned the cabin with several long beds, a hammock, and in the back, a small kitchen complete with fridge.

"Help yourself to a seat!", said the person who had entirely forgotten about the sign at the front and that this really wasn't his cabin. "I'm gonna go make hot chocolate! Do you want marshmallows on yours?" He practically hopped over to the kitchen and then proceeded to noisily open every single cabinet. Pause. "Found it!" Pause. "How do you spell hot chocolate?" Pause. "Never mind I made a portal instead to somewhere, I'm not sure where but I think it probably has a Pokemon center and hot chocolate!"

These next few minutes were summed up by Molly raising a hand and opening her mouth to voice her concerns, only for them to not come out, and then for her to be stunned into silence by Allan’s next action. This happened quite a few times. First with the declaration of being Pokemon Masters, then when Allan ripped the door handle off the door with the sign that told him not to go in, and then when the Lead told her to grab a seat because he was going to make them hot chocolate (oh my goodness he was so nice), and then when he asked how to spell hot chocolate and then…THEN…

Molly stared wide eyed at the portal. Luckily before she went inside the cabin she pulled her lance out of the tree and had it back in its totem form, before she was about to apparently leave this area.

“Uh…” Molly nervously looked up at Allan with an equally nervous smile. “O-okay…uh…” Molly stepped in through the portal first like it might bite her.

The fun thing about portals was that they could go anywhere. There were actually rather strict rules placed into making portals themselves that involved memorizing locations and coordinates which was way beyond Allan's train of knowledge which made every single portal he created a fun and exciting adventure, until at least the next time the Death lead got mad at him and made the Sun lead sit down in a mandatory portal coordinates lecture that ended up just about as useful as one would imagine.

This current fun and exciting adventure popped them outside the back lot of a Mcdonalds. Allan happily sauntered in, managed not to break anything, and then walked up to the counter. "I would like one two hot chocolates and some Pokemon!" Wait, didn't Allan mean pokemon to be healed? Did he even know what a Pokemon Center was?

The cashier took Allan's offered twenty and about two minutes later loaded a tray with two Happy Meals and two hot chocolates. The Sun lead happily sat down on the table not even noticing the pointed stares of the other customers. "Over here!" He waved to Molly and pointed to the plastic table despite the fact that she hadn't actually gone anywhere else. He beamed. "Wow, this place really does have everything!"

The Sun lead reached into his bag and pulled out a pack of apple sticks and then tossed them with perfect precision into the garbage bin because he was five. "So, what Pokemon did you get?" Allan was already opening his collectible My Little Pony, which he still hadn't realized was not a Pokemon.

Molly’s face for the rest of this trip would probably just be summed up by wide eyed awe and wonderment, because really….what else could she do?

Popping up at a McDonald’s in who knows where was rather surprising, and she could only scurry in after the Sun Lead, and nervously try to not notice all the weird looks they were getting. She then looked frazzled as a Division Lead bought her a Happy Meal and a hot chocolate, and once again, she was scurrying after Allan to take a seat across from him. “Th-thank you so much, sir! Um…for the Happy Meal and the hot choclate!” She gushed.

“Um…Allan-taichou-sir I think you should eat those, those are very healthy for you—“ She barely managed to get out when the apples went in the trash. Molly put her raised finger down, and almost wanted to tell Allan he should probably eat his food before he opened his toy, but then she remembered that she was talking to a division lead, and stopped herself. “Uh…” Molly opened her box, and pulled out the My Little Pony toy, and stared. It said…My Little Pony on the packaging…

Best not to question it.

“I uh…got Princess Twilight Sparkle…? Which one did you get…?” Molly leaned in a bit closer. “Um…Allan-taichou-sir…is it alright if I ask you a question?”

"Awesome! I got Sailor Mercury!," Allan fondly pocketed his Pinkie Pie toy and then tossed the rest of the Happy Meal into the garbage. Halfway through his hot chocolate, he gave Molly a thumbs up, which was probably supposed to be something like go ahead.

Molly’s mouth hung open. Sailor Mercury? She promptly closed it. She opened her mouth again when Allan threw away the rest of his happy meal…then she closed it. She tucked her happy meal into her bag, and then just focused on her hot chocolate as well.

“U-um well…when you said to…defeat the Elite Four um…did you mean…um…” Her voice got a bit quiet. “That Caelius and…Doctor H and…Ms. Aria and…um…are they apart of the Elite Four? Do they...need to be defeated?” She asked in a horrified whisper. It seemed like a legit question.
