Molly found herself doing this a lot, she realized.
Instead of waiting and lingering around the Underground Base entrance…she started to wait and linger around one of the many creature infested buildings. It seemed to be working for her so far, so why not keep trying her luck? Today, Molly was lingering near the entrance to the dorms with her lance resting on her shoulder, peering up at the dorms. Seems like quite a few of her fellow trainees had been working on clearing it out, but there was still quite a ways to go…
But a little went a long way! Maybe there’d be some more working on it today who needed help…

Dakota yawned as he woke from his little self inclined nap outside of the dorms. Don't ask him why he was sleeping out in the open because in all honesty, Dakota didn't give a ******** if someone attacked as Chama was acting as a nice barrier and watch...bird? His sword pulsated in the ground where he had stabbed her and taken a little nap.
He woke though when he heard the crunch of footsteps and prepared for attack. What he was met with though was a mop of red curls and a giant a** Lance. She had yet to notice his present and well...Dakota was one to take advantage of any situation.
He creeped silently, creeped quickly while managing to disperse the barrier and then sheathing Chama.
He mentally shushed his weapon as he snuck up on the Mist trainee. He avoided getting stabbed by the huge lance by ducking down and wrapped his arms around Molly's abominable area. In her ear he whispered a cheerful but low...
"Hello Precious....."

Hazel eyes glanced down one way and then another. Surely…maybe there’d be someone coming to work on the dorms soon?
Molly stiffened as soon as a pair of strong arms suddenly wrapped around her waist, and as a voice whispered into her ear, the young woman shivered as her eyes went wide. Then she screamed. “AIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!”
Molly did not take well to be snuck up on. Period. Impressively enough, she kept on screaming as she tensed in Dakota’s hold, and after a few more moments her brain finally processed that it was Dakota who did that to her. A hand shot up to rub at her ear as it tickled and she snapped her mouth shut. Molly looked over her shoulder at the Moon Hunter and then just flushed red with embarrassment. “Dakota!” She squeaked. “You scared me!”

Dakota was about to complement her on her shivering in his arms, insinuate that maybe he could make her shiver more in a secluded room but then his ears were blasted with a loud shriek from the little body.
He instinctively hugged her CLOSER until her scream died down. Waited a second. Two...okay now he could hear again. Good god. For such a little thing, she had pipes on par with a banshee.
And then he grinned at her.
"Well now that you blew my eardrums out, plus I think you attracted some very lovely friends...." He looked at her flush and his voice returned to a whisper, "Don't worry sweet Petite, I already got to you first kay?" He grinned before slipping his arms from her and turning to face the enemy.

Mortified. Absolutely mortified. Embarrassed. So. Red. Molly clammed up, just wanting to go crawl into a hole after that outburst. How unprofessional. “ I’M SO SORRY!” She sniffled, and then immediately smacked another hand over her mouth. Oops. “ I’m really, really, really sorry.” Luckily she was already so red from the blushing, so the reaction to Dakota’s whisper was well hidden in her embarrassment. Oh look, an enemy! Good timing, Molly needed something to distract her. She side stepped around the young man, pulling her lance off of her shoulder and thrusting it at the creature. HP: 37/40

Dakota wasn't sure why Molly was apologizing....
But it made her super cute. He'd have to wrap around his arms around her more often, imagine the reaction she would-
The Phoenix sighed in his head. She was so used to his perverted thoughts now that she just tuned them out.
"Red, Your getting redder...." He poked her cheek and ducked as she swung her lance around. Man, Molly....your a beast with your lance.
Chama Flared, striking the blob as Dakota stood around, yes...she was handling his perverted thoughts well. He watched as the blob disengrated and then turned to Molly.
"So.....Shall we continue this little date Sweet and Petite?" He hooked his hand around her waist. "I'm particularly fond of a red...redhead...."

Molly breathed a sigh of relief as Dakota finished it off easily, and her blush was starting to calm down, as were her nerves, until the Moon Hunter wrapped an arm around her waist. Oh dear, but…hey! He was calling her a variety of names, and that reminded her of the new name she thought up for him.
“Y…yeah!” She replied, nodding her head. “Um, would you like to hear the new nickname I thought up for you as well?” Molly asked, eyes darting back and forth to keep an eye on their surroundings. She thought she was pretty clever with the name she came up with…

He was content to walk with her, arm around waist with both of their weapons summoned like it was a normal walk in the park date thing. Yeah, Its not like they couldn't enjoy the whole atmosphere of fog filled dorm rooms.
He blinked though as she brought up nicknames and such. He never understood why he went to nicknames besides that he was told it was easier to call a girl by anything but her name. He didn't think that true cause you know, That's what got you dateless. Plus he had special STYLIZED nicknames for his girls. All of his girls.
"Sure Sweet and Petite. Tell me what you came up with...""
This he had to hear.

It’s because he’s young and inexperienced.
Molly didn’t mind this walking, and she wrapped her arm around his waist in return, looking around just to make sure they were okay for the time being.
The young woman grinned up at him as he gave her the go ahead, and she wiggled under his arm for a moment, pausing for dramatic effect and giggled. It was so awesome, and she seemed to take a deep breath and paused again. Molly was ridiculously excited about this as soon as the thought came to her mind.
“Shaaaaaaawty ~ !” The Misty uttered in a sing song tone.

Ah, nice. She had her arm around his waist.
Niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.............He relaxed as no more shadows or fogged form into something that could attack them and took ease in being in her company.
When she wiggled away, he felt the sad cold slap of air where her heat was and pouted in disaproval. He liked sweet and petite all tucked up in his side keeping it warm in the dense foggy area.
He waited a beat....watched as she got super excited before ...
Oh god. Dakota bubbled happily, He wasn't short, and he could tell it was a play on his height but oh god. She said it so cute.
"And just who is the Shawty here Molly?" He stepped clsoer to her, hovering over..." Hmmm?"

Molly was just grinning from ear to ear after she did the ‘big reveal’, and she laughed at Dakota’s, peering up at him as he stepped closer to her. “ You are the Shawty!” She answered cheerfully. “ And I am the one who is shorter than you…but you’re Shawty!” She bobbed her head side to side, and snapped her fingers as she recalled something else. “ I even have a song for you, Dakota! I heard it a lot on the radio when I worked at the diner, and it was always catchy…and it shall be…your song…ummm…” She took a moment to get the beat back in her head. “ Shawty's like a melooody in my head that I can't keep out, got me singing like Na na na naaaa everyday ~ !” Which was also accompanied by an awkward head bob.

"I just...." He laughed, slipping his arms around her waist and lifting her up into a hug. "Molly....That's the best nickname I have heard." Added with the song.
"Your so sly Molly. I feel like I might fall for you if you keep this up." He pulled back, dropping her down and tugging on a curl. "Be careful though....Other's might get jealous if you call me that and oh my god are you singing that song ahaha."
Dakota was just a ball of laughter right now! and blushing, laughter was covering the blushing....

Luckily for Dakota, Molly wasn’t the type to tease about blushing, especially when she was blushing after singing that little bit. She made a surprised sound as she was picked up into a hug, but beamed widely. Best nick name ever, huh? Well, she just felt all sorts of special! “ I’m so…what?” Molly squeaked, turning even redder at his words. Was he teasing? He was teasing, right? She wasn’t trying to toy with emotions, promise! Once she was back on her feet, she smoothed out her coat and looked surprised and concerned. “ Jealous…? Why would others get jealous? Am I doing something I’m not supposed to?” The young woman shifted anxiously, fretting…until Dakota erupted into laughter anyways. Laughter had a way of making a situation less tense… Well...Molly couldn't help but laugh too after a moment. She giggled, bringing a hand up to her mouth, and then just cupped her cheek as she laughed along with him. Yes, she was silly and she knew it.

Dakota just wasn't even sure how to act now. It was like a happy daze that she chose a nickname specifically for him.
Specifically because he was tall and the nickname was a play on his height.
Specifically because there was a song for it and she sang it.
Really Molly, it was no wonder why Dakota liked you so much. Why anyone liked you so much.
"Your so sly." He repeated before shrugging, "And hear I thought you were innocent. Even your good at seducing sometimes!" He joked, poking her cheek.
"Jealous because I get a awesome fantastic nickname and no one else does silly." That or it was Molly, he was sure she might have a fan base somewhere in the island. Especially with her nature.
It was Molly after all.
