Molly had great luck securing a string of spar partners lately, and she wondered if her good fortune would continue to carry her. She actually felt, for once, that she was making some serious progress in her goal to become a full hunter! That made her happy. That's why she was back at the training field.

There was a petite girl looking around at the training field at the same time. After the mission, Shu felt her inadequacy in battle and would like to at least train herself up before the next big mission came. So she sometimes spar with other hunters which unfortunately turned to teaching lesson because of her low level, but she mostly had some training courses with a hunter called Roland. With him on her side, she can trust on him and took more dangerous courses. The girl scanned across the field for possible nice partner for a spar, she promised Mimsy she would be careful in her own safety.

Molly looked this way. Molly looked that way. She looked this way and then-- She gasped in surprised as another trainee popped up into her field of vision. Oh! Molly blinked and took a moment to stare at the girl. She looked kind of familiar...kind of...but Molly couldn't exactly recall where she had seen her. Oh...sugar snaps! But she seemed to be...looking for something as well...so Molly took a chance. "Um...h-hello!" She called out to the girl. "Are you looking for a sparring partner?" She asked, hope evident in her tone.

When their eyes matched, the huntress went closer to her. Shu remembered she was the huntress she met when she randomly broke into a room, oh, now she recalled that - Mimi was there too, under the table. The petite Asian looked at the lovable and friendly girl with a smile and checked from top to bottom. Last time, she was friendly and so far her pick was good - all nice people. Z made a random comment.
After deciding, the girl beamed at Molly with a sweet smile. "Hello, nice to meet chu~" She said. "YES! I have been searching for one -" She paused and slowly tilted her head and looked up, "Can I spar with you? I am just a trainee, so I am not good enough, but I promised I will try my best!"

Actually, it just took a few moments of interacting with the girl again, but Molly could now recall her. After all, Molly did remember pretty well the mothering urge, and the urge to Mother had been very strong for this one. This was the one who had hugged her from behind during that one time in the classrooms! She. Was. So. Cute. Molly almost didn't even want to spar now. She just wanted to scoop her up, take her to the cafeteria, get her a plate of cookies with milk, and then read her a story-- No, Molly, focus. Spar. Promotion. She wanted to spar! "It's nice to meet you, too, um...?" She tilted her head to the side. "My name is Molly! I'm a Mist Intermediate! Oh, yes, please! I'd love to spar with you, and don't worry! I'm sure you're great!" Molly exclaimed, and then nodded her head. "Yes! It's important to try your best!" That being said, she took some steps back from the girl, and summoned her monster lance. "Whenever you're ready, alright?"

Shu watched interestingly at the huntress's internal monologue with her expression slight changing, last time, she gave her a feel of mother but this time she found her adorable and funny. "People usually call me Shu, thanks for being my spar partner today, Molly." The girl who loves to smile gave the huntress another big smile. With a nod, she made a few steps back too but her eyes stayed big when she saw her weapon. So big, so tall, so impressive! Z called her back from the shock, the Death trainee closed her mouth and grabbed onto her necklace. A big hammer appeared and it was in peach pink.
"I am ready~" She waved with one hand cheerfully and dashed forward for some boost, but she slipped, yes, she slipped even on a flat surface, maybe there was a small puddle after rain. Anyway the girl slipped but when she tried to balance, her hand holding the hammer swung out in a big motion towards Molly.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Shu!" Molly said in earnest, beaming at the girl. "No, thank you so much for being my partner!" Molly decided she was going to let her go first...because she was so cute and because she was worried about not hitting hard. The trainee blinked, eyes going a bit wide as Shu summoned her weapon though. How did such a cute little girl carry that big thing-- Then she wondered if that's what people thought when they looked at her too. But Molly didn't get a lot of time to think about it, because Shu swung that impressive weapon and knocked the air out of her lungs. Molly let out a yelp, staggering a a bit at the hit. "Y...you're doing great!" She squeaked, sucking in a deep breath before she strengthened her position and leaned in, thrusting her weapon at the girl. HP: 42 / 50

Yup, if Shu knew what Molly was thinking, she would think of the same thing. In the cave, she was just thinking it would be like if her weapon/ partner was something cute and pink, and then she got a big hammer which was originally a Nian, a chinese creature that she knew well. The long and pointed weapon of the huntress pushed her back even she made use of her hammer, the two weapon collided and abraded, making sharp metallic noises but when they slipped, the pointed head slashed across her waist, giving her a burning pain. Shu bite into her lips so that she won't cry out, she knew she was healing once a wound was created, so she didn't worry about that. The petite girl only felt bad to tell Molly that her last hit was just an accident when she made a compliment. After breathing in and out, the trainee felt much better and ready for another attack. This time she took note of the puddles and didn't slip. The girl hit the hammer from the side to make the giant lance swing horizontally. From the spar with Jordan and Roland, she learned that she didn't really need to attack the hunter, attacking the weapon would make damage to the shield also. She found it less guilty to do so and she didn't need to stay back, she preferred this way unless her opponent showed the aggression. When Molly was striving the balance, she trotted backward with her face pointing the huntress in case of attack. She needed to treat spar more serious, like real battle so that she can really learn from it. =========== Damage: 3 HP: 32/ 40 Charge: 2/3

Molly wasn't sure why Shu was worried. She really seemed to be holding her own! Molly had been around the block a few times though when it came to sparring, and she tried to recall if she had ever sparred someone else who had a hammer. She couldn't recall. Rep had his axe but...that wasn't exactly the same. She knew Jordan had a very large hammer, but she never sparred with him either. Ah, well. She let out a gasp as her weapon was struck, and swung it around before angling it under Shu's large hammer to strike at her mid-section, which was where almost all of her attacks aimed for. HP: 39 / 50

She only sparred twice and both were boys, because of what she was taught, she felt uneasy to swing the hammer against them, even though it couldn't be told from her face. Thus, she enjoyed this spar with Molly, her first female spar partner. Even Z was surprised of the damage she did, it was a fusion of determination to get stronger so that she can protect and the comfort of do it with a girl. The smile on her face was the biggest, "You are great, Molly, I am happy to do this with you~!" Her hammer was dug up and her waist was hurt again, she put one hand on the most painful part while stepping back. Shu observed that the other huntress mainly targeted at her middle part, maybe she could do something with it...... Thus, she adjusted her position to make one of the arms blocking her waist while digging the pointed end of the lance up like playing golf. "How about this?" She asked with confidence, resembled the expression of the duelist in the MMORPG game she used to play. She was so delighted that she could try some skills successfully in a spar. Molly shook her head. "Oh, goodness no, I'm not really!" She exclaimed a bit embarrassed. She took some steps back to accommodate for Shu's range with her weapon, but still managed to get hit as the girl worked on some new maneuvers. Molly let out a surprised yelp, before managing a laugh. "You're doing great!" But then the mist trainee followed that up with a hard piercing attack at the trainee again. HP: 33 / 50

Shu giggled for Molly's cute response, but shortly in a defense mode as the huntress made a serious look. "No. You're doing much better than me." The burning pain from her waist made her unable to hide her shout. It hurt but she knew it was good for her to learn how to endure pains and still able to continue her work. She couldn't forever be the little girl hiding in the wardrobe. Thus, Shu pressed against her waist, took some deep breathes, and straightened her waist. "See....You are really good~" She panted as she said with a weak smile. Z was buzzing eagerly and excitedly to urge the petite Asian to use the FEAR to attack, he wanted to prove he was better, or simply he was the best weapon and she should be grateful for it. The girl picked up the hammer with difficulties, it felt heavier than normal, and she had the illusion that there was a nasty hole on her waist, the feel of getting penetrated and it disgusted her. However, swinging Z needed to be completed with two hands, so she temporarily forced herself to forget the pain and swirled around a fixed spot.
The ball started to fly, but Shu who was not used to this kind of pain failed to get rid of it, it was coming back slowly and her hands were shaking. In normal situation, she should increase her speed so that the ball would swift more faster but bothered by the pain, the weak girl only manage to speed up a little bit, the ball could be still seen. Z was very discontented with her efforts and scolded her to speed up. Shu felt like someone gently squished the inner organs of her body, they strengthened the forces bit by bit slowly, and abruptly, they strangled it with the cruel greatest force.
She yelped short, and knelt down on the ground, but didn't notice the ball was flying towards her. It hit her right on the face though Z already warned her. Shu immediately felt dizzy and spinning, she knew she failed again.
"See-" She hardly managed to say something. "I-I didn't lie, I am really really~ really-really.... really rea-lly BAD." She smiled, but rather lost her focus, her voice was sometime loud and strong, sometime small and weak.

Once it became apparent Shu was up to something, Molly immediately hesitated. The trainee even shuffled back a few steps as the ball on Shu's hammer started to spin, and raised her lance in defense...for... Nothing. Oh. Molly couldn't help but heavily wince as Shu ended up clocking herself in the face with her own weapon, and once it became apparent that the trainee was in no condition to continue fighting, Molly de-summoned her weapon. She then rushed over to the trainee's side, ready to fuss and fret over her. "Oh, Shu...! Are you alright!?" Her eyes were wide, and eventually she reached out to pat the girl reassuringly on the head. "You did really good, I promise! I'm sure with more practice you'll be even better!" HP: 33 / 50

She felt dizzy and her vision was swirling and blurred, she felt like hit by a boiled pan and her face burned up. Z was displeased and sighed, , the illusion of the beast disappeared once the ball kissed the girl's face. "I-I will be fine." She looked at the two Mollys and smiled. "Did my face sagged?!" The first one she was worried was her face as she sat up. The Asian then apologized, "Sorry, it shouldn't end that quick...." The buzz in her head halted her. "But I learnt a lot, thank you!" The girl smiled brightly though the sweats told she was enduring not to faint.
The pat was like the best compliment, deepening the smile on her face. They used to caress her hair and pat her head like this, it was so great. "...I promise-I will get better next time....can we spar again? Please?" She supported herself with the shaky hands, not letting the lost of energy to take her down. "Ah." She did as he told and put the necklace into her pocket, and wrapped her arms around Molly's waist, she felt like crying like a little girl in her bosom, the huntress had that kind of magic.
Shu knew it's a bit rude to do so to a newly met person, but she couldn't help, the head pat warmed her heart and she wanted more.

"Oh, no! Your face looks perfectly fine!" Molly eagerly assured. Red, from getting whacked, but okay none the less! "It's okay, really!" She smiled down at the girl. "No, thank you. I learned a lot as well!" A new weapon type and what to look out for. She beamed at Shu. "Of course!" Molly chirped. "I'd love to spar with you again--" The trainee blinked as Shu was clinging to her again, and it was only a moment of surprise before her arms came down and settled around the girl.
