Text to all Lambs
Room 253. 10am. Do not be late.

The text came with no warning, no fanfare, and no addtional information. The message itself went out to all of Deus' lambs: the newest hunters who found their weapons, yet they still had yet to set foot afield. For now.

At the front of the room, Aria stood conversing with a few of the intermedate trainees. Some of them, Aria included, were sporting gear unsuited for Deus' warm weather. Some of them even had bags of some sort, stacked haphazardly against the wall.

On a table nearby appeared to be a sign-in sheet of some sort, complete with "Sign in, sit down, shut up" written along the top. Looked like Aria's "help" was settlinf into their lead roles in standard Deus fashion.

Dress warmly tomorrow. <3 Candace

Room 253. 10am. Do not be late.

.... Who on earth was Candace? Dillon frowned at the messages and tucked his phone back into his pocket. Leaning back into his bed, Dillon looked down at himself and decided that his usual attire should be warm enough for whatever they were doing tomorrow. Probably.

... Hm...

The next day the mist hunter trainee decided he should arrive a little early, which he did, and upon entering the room the young man immediately felt the urge to face palm. That was his division leader from the looks of it ... and well ... at least she wouldn't be freezing. Instinctively wrapping his scarf around his neck, Dillon headed to the table and signed in.

Then he sat down. And shut up.

She was so bundled up that it was slightly difficult to move. Sydney walked into the room, noting that the other male sitting down was familiar--one of the males from their first classroom setting. She had a bag of supplies, and Izy in weapon form. This was a mission, at least, it seemed like one from the two text messages. She would be prepared, she was determined.

She should have never listened to that song, she thought as Izy crooned in the back of her mind. She ignored him as she signed in, sitting down in a chair and shutting up, just as ordered.

With nothing else to do but wait, Dillon would immediately notice a fellow mist hunter trainee enter the room. Ah, the girl from the classroom back then. Dillon made quick eye contact and then he noticed her bag of supplies.

Sasha slipped into the room, quickly taking note of the board and the rules listed there. Short set of rules but rules nonetheless, and they were rules that Sasha could handle. As she made her way up to the front of the room, Sasha lifted a hand and nervously brushed her fingers against the barrette that was in her hair. She'd dressed warmly, just as the text had indicated, which made moving around a little more difficult than she would have preferred.

<How utterly boring.>

Now isn't the time, Nona, please.

<I only hope we'll get to see some kind of action. Or at least a handsome boil or five.>

Nona...

The weapon fell blissfully silent as Sasha wrote her name beneath her division. She slipped into a seat near the front, settling the medium-sized duffle next to her feet. A myriad of winter clothes were packed therein along with anything else Sasha thought she might need.

Ami had woken up extra early to prepare herself for the artic mission. Truth be told, Ami was incredibly nervous. A tad excited, but incredibly stressed. She hated this type of thing because it always made her feel like she wasn't going to be good enough.

< Are you ... insecure? >

Shut up, she snapped.

The moon hunter pulled on her normal hunter's coat, followed by two winter coats and three pairs of pants. She wasn't exactly sure how to dress for the cold. ALL of her hair got wrapped up in her hood; it was wrapped in a tight ball. She debated getting goggles at the store the other day- she'd seen them in movies after all- but decided against it. Next came the boots, which were hideous but necessary. She hated having to wear them, and would most likely complain the entire mission. Gloves, hat. She looked like a human marshmallow.

< Don't forget me Ami! I'm the most important part! > Junpei purred.

Yeah, yeah, she thought back, surprisingly not arguing with him for once. Maybe it was nervousness.

She arrived at room 253 bright and early, only to find three people had already arrived. Dammit, she had wanted to be first! Her fingers played nervously with her fish clip (at the moment attached to her pocket), and sat down next to Dillon, whom she'd seen once or twice. She stayed completely quiet though, like the sign up suggested.

Any other time, 10AM for Rep was something that inflicted itself on OTHER people. It was a serious serious effort for him that morning to wake himself up at 8AM, get washed up - with a ******** sponge no less - and then get into the winter gear he'd harassed the quartermaster for, in addition to his own s**t. He was no stranger to cold weather back in Scotland, even if Scotland /specialised/ in rain, it still could pull a bit of arctic cold out of its a** when it wanted to. So he at least knew the value of layers. By the time he was dressed he was wearing his tank top - some habits died hard, along with various layers of t-shirts covered up with an arctic grade berghaus type jacket, and his own. He felt like a ******** snowman with all the layers, restricted and difficult to move, but he figured he'd be better off prepared than dead.

He'd even remembered to get snow goggles from the guy to pocket, remembering the wicked migraines from the time him and his mates had gone skiiing up at Glen Coe from snow glare. He'd learned his lessons.

Still, he couldn't help but look like death warmed up as he trudged into the room, properly dressed but hardly properly awake, glaring in an utterly chilly manner at the people in the room already, many of whom he'd never met before. He was still sore for the duel with Jordan on top of being half asleep and he was determined he was not about to take any s**t from anyone, he was a walking ticking time bomb, ******** the only good thing of the day had been H's hot assistant wanting to invite him to a meal after all this.

He'd have to come back alive, he'd never been asked out by a classy bird before.

He wrote his name on the list and slumped into a seat, and determined he would /not/ shut up since he'd never done so in any class ever he muttered irritably to himself. "******** North Pole, could have picked a place that wouldn't freeze the balls off a brass monkey."

And some more arrived. One of them he recognised from the classroom back then too. Likewise, Dillon made quick eye contact with Ami as she sat down next to him, and then slumped back down further into his seat. He would really have liked to tell her she looked a little silly, but she wasn't. In fact, the rest of the room were bundled up like dumplings except for him.

Oh yeaaaa, he was so screwed.

A part of him wanted to run back to his room to grab some more clothing, but another part was telling him to just stay. He would be late if he went back anyway. He wondered what was worse, dying from the cold or being late and making a terrible impression on his division leader. The latter obviously, though he was sure he was being marked for his apparent idiocy already.

And so, to comfort himself, he pulled down the sleeves of his turtleneck. Like that would help.

Rin was already up and banging about by the time she heard Rep next door getting up. At least he wasn't going to be late. She smirked as she continued taking care of several things before the mission. She refused to come back to her room not unpacked fully or in the mild disarray she seemed to see in it.

This meant though by the time she was ready and arriving dressed looking like a polar bear and Eskimo hybrid she arrived shortly after Rep already had. Not that she wasn't also secretly competing to beat him there. Not at all.

Rin. The sign.

She looked around the room for one and spotted it. Oh, right. Then approached it to write her name in. Afterward she turned looking for Rep again and spotting him slumped in the seat in front of him. Pretending she hadn't noticed him or his annoyed utterances.

Ami saw Dillon staring and bit her lip. Why was he staring? She did the only thing remotely sane to her.

She stared back him. Her eyes just screamed "What? What am I doing wrong?!"

Looking at her own clothes, she realized she might have been a bit ... overprepared. Uck. What if she was the only puffed up girl here? Everyone would laugh at her. Oh God this was embarrassing.

Noticing that he had gotten a rather big reaction from Ami, Dillon simply smiled and shook his head.

“Nothing, you're fine, I'm not,” he managed to say. Just with his facial expressions.

Now he was beginning to wonder if he could excuse himself for a toilet break.....

Saya came in a warm furry cloak, the cloak falling over the curves of her body to conceal everything in a white and yellow, the cell phone message from Gale enclosed firmly within her hands. It didn't say much more than to dress warmly so she had only gotten the basics. A coat, gloves, snow googles.. and a cloak. But Saya didn't look overly bundled, simply covered up with a little extra.

She bent down slightly to sigh up in a nervous silence, her hand gripping the pompoms at the collar of her cloak with a fidgeting motion. It was the only adornment on her outfit, almost missed against the white against her cloak.

There wasn't a peep out of her, even when she sat near the back of the class.

Ami's eyes flicked worriedly to the people standing near the sign up list, clearly in charge of this whole thing. The sign up sheet clearly said shut up, yet here was Dillon talking to her.

Ami lifted a silent finger to her mouth and then hissed a SHHHH. She really didnt want to get in trouble.

Now that she looked around the room, she could see it really was him. He was underprepared compared to the rest of them. Still silently, Ami unwrapped her red scarf and offered it to him. Sure he might get her in trouble, but she didn't want him to freeze!

Winter gear. Check.

A smaller bag packed according to Miss Candace’s instructions. Check.

Breakfast. Check.

Weapon? Check.

<Seriously, Molly?>

Molly was ready to roll! The Mist trainee was just a ray of sunshine as she stepped into the class room, smiling despite being bundled up as she approached the sign in sheet and jotted down her name. She then paused, and took a moment to see if there were any familiar faces in the room yet…and the only one she recognized was Rep. Eep. The Mist trainee smiled a bit nervously now as she made her way towards the nearest seat in the front row and sat down, folding her hands over one another as she waited for the next instruction.

Dillon looked at Ami with an expression that said : What, I didn't say anything!!

And then came the most beautiful gesture he could ever imagine.

Dillon, a single manly tear in his eye, politely refused. He couldn't take that. That would be him jeopardizing someone else. Suddenly, there was a bout of newfound courage in him.

BRB, he gestured, and quietly slid out of the room. Dillon looked at the clock on his phone – just a few minutes left. He'd better run so damn fast.

And so damn fast he ran.
