Quote: Location: the Labs Amount to be cleared: 25 Until then: the sleepers are in danger! Minipets are in peril! No golem missions may be undertaken! No more new hunters may awaken! Quote: Roll 1d100 1-10: You find the body of a fallen hunter, their weapon tablet lies on the ground but crumbles as you reach for it. The pieces quickly shift and expand into a large, insane creature. It's form is not very solid, and more cloud-like than anything. Boss Stats HP: 50 Auto Damage: 5 (hit or miss) Extra: because of it's form, use a -8 modifier for accuracy! This does not count with charged attacks! 11-32: A small, semi-solid creature snatches at you with painful claws and teeth. Mob Stats HP: 5 Auto Damage: 2 (hit or miss) 33: A very solid form attacks you, it's species is recognizable despite the desaturated form and flowing eyes. It's attacks are powerful and relentless! Boss Stats HP: 99 Auto Damage: 10 (hit or miss) 34-65: A large, semi-solid creature barrels into you! It's slow-moving but a bit more powerful than the smaller ones. Mob Stats HP: 10 Auto Damage: 3 (hit or miss) 66: A bunch of smaller, semi-solid forms attack you in a large group! Boss Stats HP: 66 (collective health) Auto Damage: 6 (hit or miss) 67-89: Nothing happens. 90-98: A small, fairly solid creature swiftly begins attacking you! Mob Stats HP: 15 Auto Damage: 5 (hit or miss) 99-100: A creature that skillfully shifts from solid to fog-like, it's incredibly dangerous and difficult to handle. Boss Stats HP: 99 Auto Damage: 10 (hit or miss) Extra: because of it's skill with its form, use a -8 modifier for accuracy! This does not count with charged attacks! Quote: Death Trainee: subtract 2 from auto damage Intermediate: subtract 3 from auto damage Mist Trainee: you may use the trainee skill of another division (pick one for a thread and stick with it) Intermediate: you may use the intermediate skill of another division (pick one for a thread and stick with it)

Otto went out solo, as he usually does, to check out the situation in the Life labs. Teams were for suckers, after all. Unlike some other Hunters, his Insanity did not last more than a day, and the grumpy teen was back to his old self. Insecurities? Bah! He'd push them down into his core until they disappeared. That's how he dealt with feelings. So far though, the Life labs seemed uninhabited.

WHOP WHOP WHOP WHOP SCAR-EEEEEEEEECH
That was the sound of Molly running after Otto while carting around her monster lance. “And if I was your mother, young man!” Her voice went high pitched as she expressed her worry. “I would not be letting you go out by yoursel-EEEEEEEE!” Molly skid across the floor and right into Otto.

Otto's brows lifted, then furrowed. Who was nagging him now? Actually, he kind of recognized that tone and voice. The teen scoffed and turned around, only to be met with full contact Molly skilding into his ankles. Otto didn't even have a chance to yell, grunting upon impact and getting knocked to the ground.
He hissed and rubbed his still healing wounds, minding his fresh stitches as he sat up. "Aw what the ********, lady?" He growled as he turned his head to the strawberry blonde.
"What I do ain't none of your business." Otto insisted he was a big boy now.

“Oh my gosh, I AM SO SORRY!” Molly wailed as she swayed, and luckily managed to not fall over after she knocked Otto down. “Are you alright!?” She reached out, holding a hand out to the young man on the floor, her brows knit with concern. “And where is your weapon, Otto!? It’s very dangerous out here you need to be careful!” She kept her hand out.
“I saw you going off by yourself again, and it’s not safe to go out alone if you can help it, alright?”

Otto grumbled at her apologies, huffing indignantly. Her offered hand was stared at some, his eyes drifting up her arm to her concerned face spewing worthless motherly nagging. He rolled his eyes and took the offered hand, getting to his feet with her help. "I don't wanna summon it unless I see a monster." He muttered, averting his eyes.
Her offer was left in the air as he looked around, noting the nothingness around them. "Help me? With what?" He motioned at the empty labs, which was giving him the creeps. "I don't care, do what ya wanna.."

Molly pulled the Death trainee back to his feet with a hearty pull, and once he was back up, she fussed over his clothes with a free hand, and then licked her palm.
Oh yeah. You know what’s coming next. She then smoothed it over bits of wily hair.
“Otto.” She fretted. “That’s not a good idea…it might be too late by then!” Molly took a good look at where she had ended up now. She had ran after Otto in a blind run, and now she realized they were in the labs, and she gasped. Oh…oh those poor…
“CANON CATS!” Molly cried, looking at Otto with wide eyes, a hand covering her mouth at the horror. “Those poor Canon Cats! They must be so scared with no Hunters around…and…and how are they eating?” Molly sniffled, her heart going out to the little furry dive bombers, and then her eyes widened again as she seemed to realize something after she lamented about Canon Cats. “Oh, and the sleepers too!” Molly hastily added, a hand cupping her cheek now. “Those poor sleepers…bless their hearts.” She twisted her torso, almost clothes lining Otto with her lance if he didn’t duck.
“…Let’s…let’s work on clearing this area out, together, alright?” She turned back to him and smiled.

Not. The. HAIR.
"STOPIT!" Otto yelled, swatting away her hand and fixing his hair back how he wanted it. Dammit, she even hiked up his pants. How did she even...
Her sudden outburst nearly gave Otto a fright, widening his eyes and leaning back as she fretted. "...You're more worried about the ********' minipets than..." Otto groaned and ran a hand through his hair.
Suddenly, Otto's eyes widened and he ducked as Molly twisted her body, barely missing the swift encounter with her Lance. He breathed a small sigh and stood up again, only to get knocked with the lance as she swiveled back.
"Ow! Watch that ********' thing!" He yelled in an upset tone as he rubbed his arm.

Molly smiled at Otto sheepishly, drawing her hand back to herself.
“I’m really sorry!” She stressed. “…Um….usually I don’t stand this close to someone while holding it.” For good reason. Vaska cackled in her mind though, and told her to do it again. “That’s not nice.” She chided, and then blushed. “Oh um…not you, Otto…Eh heh…” She scratched her cheek. “W…well it’s just…sleepers are pretty safe in the pods, you know? The Canon Cats…they’re just in a room…” They really should hurry up and work on clearing out the Labs regardless.
“…Oh um…” Molly suddenly looked embarrassed and hesitant as she glanced at Otto. “…Um…Otto…” She tapped her lip. “…You shouldn’t wear your pants so low…” She whispered, blushing.

Wait.. was her weapon talking s**t about him? Otto glared at the girl even though she had nothing to do with her weapon's opinion. He sighed after a while. "Fine, let's go save the goddamn minipets." He relented while crossing his arms.
He raised a brow as Molly seemed to be distracted with something. His pants? Why was she blushing? Otto looked down at himself and then back to her before tilting his head. "Why? Is it stickin' out?"
Tact.
Otto needed it.

Molly turned even more red, and leaned in closer to Otto as she whispered. It was clear this topic made her very uncomfortable, but she felt like Otto needed to know. “No…it’s not that…it’s just…” She gulped audibly.
“…I was watching this documentary about gang behavior in prisons this one time on the History Channel…and um…” Molly turned even more red, her voice squeaky. “When an inmate has his pants sagging like you do…it um…it means he’s…” Molly made some vague hand motions that made absolutely no sense as she scrambled for a way to say this. “…It means he’s…ready for the birds and the bees but…you know…between two men!” She paused, cupping her face and looking completely scandalized at this topic, and after a few moments of awkward silence her eyes widened and she stared at Otto horrified, and then waved her hands wildly.
“Unless you already knew and that’s your preference, and I just want you to know that that’s TOTALLY OKAY and I still appreciate and value you for who you are and it doesn’t change my opinion of you at all, alright!? It’s your life, I think you should live it anyway you want and if that makes you happy then I am happy for you, and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise!"

Otto had to lean in to hear her, since Molly was speaking so quiet and squeaky. Just what was making her so antsy? Otto furrowed his brows and listened to her start to explain...
As she fell silent, Otto put the pieces together, his expression turning into one of surprise, then to disgust. Perhaps even horrified.
No.. no actually her scrambling to correct herself afterward had him looking horrified. "OH MY GOD! I AM NOT GAY!!!" Otto screamed at Molly, his face burning red. Whether or not what she said held any truth, Otto fixed the height of his pants and tightened his belt right there.

The Misty leapt back, rubbing her ear as Otto screamed right into it. Oh god, it was ringing! She rubbed it, looking even more sheepish.
“IT’S OKAY, OTTO, REALLY!” Molly assured, “You don’t have to hide it or lie about it if you really are, okay? I promise, I don’t care what you prefer er…well I do…I mean…I am open and accept you for whatever your preference is, alright? I promise! It doesn’t change who you are, and I will always like you for you!”

Quote: 67-89: Nothing happens.... again. "FOR ******** SAKE!" Otto yelled again, grabbing either side of his head to cover his ears from hearing the stupid. "This ain't a goddamn prison, anyway! The same rules don't apply!" His voice cracked a bit as he yelled at the Misty, his cheeks still burning red from embarrassment. Well, at least no one was around to hear it all...

Quote: 67-89: Nothing happens.... again. Molly paused, taking a moment to examine that statement in the Molly-way. Her brows furrowed. “… Well…when you think about it…we’re kind of like a gang? I mean…we all wear uniforms…and we have initiations…and leaders and commands…and missions and jobs…” Molly rubbed her cheek. Hmmm yes…made sense to her!
