There are crayon-clad posters lining the halls of the dorms, cafeteria, bathrooms (both girl and what remains of the boy's), out on the training fields and blowing in the wind across the island. Jerry and Sasha had been very thorough. They read with mixed messages, some promising cookies, other promising donuts, also explaining the wonders of what Music can do for you, all pointing towards meeting at the Training Field at a certain time that afternoon. The Sun intermediate was looking well groomed and bright eyed as he finished setting up the folding table holding an array of what remained of his colored Kazoos, and a whole rainbow worth of what looked like plastic horns, and even a tambourine. It seemed ANYONE who showed up was greeted with excitement and enthusiasm and instructions to sign up their name on his clipboard on the table. It was time for The Hunter Choir/Band Auditions! OOC How it works! When Auditions phase opens, simply roll 1D10. 1 being horrible, 10 being amazing. How does this reflect your character's IC 'Usual' abilities? What got in the way or suddenly helped? You Will be asked to explain this in your post! -Auditions are currently in AUDITION BREAK - Audition rolls will resume tomorrow, for now enjoy this musical interlude and some donuts! LATE COMERS WELCOME!!- If your name is Robert, you're auto-in. You do not need to audition.

Ever since Jerry first spoke to her about it, it had been something that hung around in the back of Molly’s mind.
Just imagine her excitement as the flyers started to go around everywhere. It was finally happening! This was amazing! The Mist trainee would appear on the Training field bright eyed and busy tailed, clinging tightly to her fiddle case as she approached the table. “Good morning, Jerry!” She piped to the Sun Hunter, and immediately signed her named on the clip board.
Was she the first one to show up? Awesome. That’s how excited she was.

"Molly!!" Jerry beamed, "Oh my goodness and you brought your violin too! Oh this is going to be great! I ah... haven't... found much by way of er... additional instruments yet, but maybe you could provide some accompaniment for people if need be?" He looked positively thrilled to see SOMEONE show up, using all of his self control not to leap over the table and hug her, and instead, casually walk around the table to pat her shoulder happily.

Sasha was running late to the try outs, and she felt absolutely horrid about it. She'd been plagued by nightmares the night before and so sleep hadn't come easy - when it had come, Sasha had been so exhausted that she'd slept through her alarm.
"Jerry! Molly!"
Giving Jerry a half-hug with one arm, Sasha did a little fist-pump with the other.
"I'm so glad to see you, Molly! A-and I'm sorry I'm late, Jerry." She beamed at him before peering at the table. "Everything looks so great!"

Jude followed the signs and went to their source. Mostly to support Jerry.
He had no plans to audition. None.
So when he made his appearance he kind of stood off to the side and did his best impression of a wall flower that was lacking a wall.
Is it working?

"SASHA!" Jerry beamed, suddenly lifting her up in the air in an excited twirl, "You're not late at all! I just finished setting up! You asked Robert about the donuts, right??" It was very important Robert showed up at all, even if it was under a ruse. He set her down gently, beaming as his friends already started to congregate, and lifted up his clipboard to scribble down names.
"And Jude!!" Don't think he didn't see you there, "Welcome welcome!! You want a Vuvusila??" A bit of cacophony was sure to do the somber boy some good. "Get over here!"

Spotted.
Jude gave everyone a bit of a nod as he wandered a bit closer to the grouping, "Hey Jerry, Sasha, and Molly," he said quietly he even smiled a little bit.
"Do I want a what now?" He asked his eyebrow raising a bit.

"********' SHUT UP ABOUT THE DOUGHNUTS CHRIST." Robert had heard his name when he walked in, or stormed in, or just generally disgruntledly moved from the outside of this dreaded field, to the inside of it. He put down the two boxes of TOTALLY NOT FRESH BUT STOREBOUGHT doughnuts he'd acquired, before hunkering down and making himself at home.
Which of course meant grabbing the first thing that looked like it shouldn't be touched, and messing with it.
Which was a vuvuzela.
"Okay this is mine, okay." He announced very seriously.

"ROBERT!!!" Jerry used all of his self control not to gain a hernia by attempting to lift and twirl Robert as well. Instead, he cleared his throat and sidled over to practically drag Sasha with him and investigate the doughnuts, "Thank you so much for coming I trust Sasha spoke to you right? You're staying right? You can only have that if you stay," He pointed to the Vuvuzela in question.

Donuts.
Donuts.
There were some.
Sasha immediately began pilfering them one by one, shoving two in her pockets before thinking to greet Robert with a bright, flashing smile.
"Robert said he would sing!" She gave him a stern look. "And hi, Jude!"

Wash appeared on the training field looking rather sheepish. It'd been ages (Man Party didn't count since it seemed the majority of its attendees were blitzed when he arrived) since he'd really interacted with any of his fellow trainees, and he felt absolutely out of sorts. It was almost like coming out of the pod all over again. The instant the fresh sea breeze greeted his nostrils, though, he relaxed a bit.
Plus, he was pretty sure he smelled donuts.
"Hey guys," he began, ambling over. He smiled uncertainly. He recognized Robert and Jerry, but the other three were new to him. He gave the donuts a long, assessing stare before turning to greet the strangers.
"I don't think we've met," he said to the two women. "I'm Washington, but you can call me Wash." It was then that he noticed the much quieter man standing off to the side. "Oh, sorry man. Wash. Have we met...?" He offered his hand.

Jerry was literally beaming gay at him. Robert reached out to try and pull Jerry along, all but wrangling him by the neck as he dragged the poor man towards the exit.
"Yeah, yeah, I get it, your Froot Loops are all soggy over me being here, just.. just shut up about it. Christ."
He would have to say hi to Sasha later. First, he had to deal with.. the stupid s**t.
Robert dragged Jerry right off the field, and dumped him unceremoniously behind it, where his guitar waited. There were faintly glowing blue accents down the edges that had been broken, and some of the strings looked like they were made of something else entirely, but all in all, it was intact, and it was the best Robert could do. If it wasn't good enough, Jerry could go buy himself a new guitar for all he cared.
"There." He grunted, crossing his arms gruffly and making sure Jerry stayed behind a pole where no one in the room could see his sure-to-be-faggoty response. "Just.. thought you'd like that back."

Jerry was about to protest, expecting a good thorough beating for his enthusiasm, but what was waiting...
The man stared, mouth agape.
"Robert... you... you..."
There was a moment of impending Niagara falls, but like a man, Jerry bottled it up.

Oh God, he looked all.. all emotional and s**t. "UUUUUUuuuugh. Yes. I - I - I. Okay? Don't.. get.. all.. you about it." He ran his fingers through his hair, and shrugged. "Just.. go have a good choir practice." Was there a hint of a smile on Robert's face? It disappeared quickly as he leaned down and pinned Jerry with a single finger. "And don't make me sing anything stupid."

Jerry bit his lip, staring up at Robert with a hardened expression. Before the man could protest, there was suddenly a hundred and twenty pounds of enthusiasm thrust against him in a bear hug, "Thank you, Robert. You. You are a good friend. I promise, only the classiest of songs."
