The first tent they hit was the Medical recovery tent, a series of small bunkers with several Hunters, injured, resting inside. "Bandages, bandages, oh!" Julie fumbled with a series of them before passing several bandages and bandaids to the trainees. "This should do for now, let me know if anyone else is hurt more and um," she bit her lower lip, "I think I know how to fix that."
That didn't sound very safe.
"Anyway," The Moon Hunter reasoned, voice considerably stressed as she tried nervously to tuck one strand of hair behind her ear. "It's great you all made it safe here! Allan asked me to set you guys up in groups, basically you will be patrolling just this area, in small groups, maybe three to five? Oh, of course when you are ready that is. If you see anything strange while patrolling, you should probably oh, hit it lots and shout for help! Also, the resting quarters are over there, we only need a few patrols at a time, so don't rush all at once." THE SAHARA BASE The Sahara Base is a modest base made of three tents, protected by extremely strong Barrier Daggers, customized to make Fear-warding fortresses. The trainees are currently inside the INFIRMARY tent. This is where they can go if they take injuries (damage to their HP) and come to recover. Simply type in ENTER when entering this tent and EXIT when leaving it to the other tents. - The second tent is the RESTING tent. This is simply for resting purposes: trainees can also text with each other there. Simply press ENTER to enter it and EXIT to exit it - The last tent is off limits sorry! A Moon Hunter shakes their head at you when you try to enter it - Your trainee can now also do PATROLS. Go to the PATROL thread and follow the PATROL mechanics.

It seemed like the second Nicodemus registered pain of burning, it was time to move again, the Centipede crumpling underneath his blade. Moving.
She was going to leave for safety now. That hadn't been bad to start off with, and yet... she passed a look back towards Simon and Allan with a small frown. "Be safe!" she called out before she passed on through into the safety of the tents.
The first place that was hit up was the Infirmary tent and that..?
She didn't need it. Nicodemus told her he was holding up fine. She could go and do something productive. Something else. She passed a look over the group to see if she could find Marcus before taking a deep breath and looking to Julie instead.
"Anything I can do to help?"

(( Entering )) Thankfully, Tedan hadn't been hurt too badly in the fight, having figured out the back-and-forth thing pretty early on. Mostly because of Ardavan. "Thanks," he murmured softly as he de-summoned the weapon. It looked like some others hadn't been nearly so lucky ... but once patrols were mentioned, he started glancing around for Gale and Bix. Maybe they could team up? Possibly with a couple others ...

As the bosses fell, he simply looked on, quietly following the orders handed to them with almost robotic obedience.
He staggered into the tent and took one of the proffered bandages, sitting himself down anywhere he could find that was flat and out of the way of other people for the most part to tend his wounds. It was rather difficult, his dodgy arm wasn't co-operating very well.

They hadn't died yet. This was a good start as far as Deryk was concerned. Letting out a sigh, he looked around at their base here. They needed to go out on patrols it seemed, meaning he was going to need to find himself a team to join. With that in mind, he wandered around the area a bit to get a feel where everything was.
Seeing how they had to set up a base and were doing patrols... they were probably going to be here for some time.

Honestly he didn't need to be told twice to move forward. He trusted those that stayed behind could care for themselves not that he wouldn't fight until the very bitter end if he had to but if he didn't have to then he will live to possibly sacrifice himself another day. He had desummoned his weapon and simply glanced around thoughtfully.
Did anyone need any help? He wasn't that badly banged up just yet. Hm.
For the moment he stayed in one place waiting to see if there were anyone straggling behind that did need help or what not.

[ clerise entering ]
Clerise gave a sullen glance to Julie, shying away from anyone getting too close to her.
"I'm ********' fine; didn't take a single blow," she muttered, skittery. "I'm outta here."
To the resting tent-- the redhead just wanted to rub the sand out of her still healing scars and sleep. Possibly forever.
This isn't funny any more, goddamnit. Goddamnit, Balthazar.

((Enter)) Oh…that’d been lovely…their first battle, and she had been well…useless. Molly had gotten panicked, arriving on the battlefield that was in chaos. Between all the trainees running around her, and the…the bodies on the ground, she ended up locking up and not summoning Vaska out of worry about hitting someone. Everyone had been…so amazing though. They seemed to fell those creatures so fast… Arriving in the medical tent, Molly felt she’d be put to better use here, and would do whatever she could to help, since she had failed utterly in that battle. The Mist trainee approached Rep, and sought to help him out if he allowed it. “ Hey there…” She murmured, smiling softly. “ I’ll help.”

[Enter] Bix hadn't often been that happy to see Julie. Once finally in the safety of the tent he took a deep breath. Everything had happened so fast that he wasn't exactly sure if he'd breathed the entire time. He flopped onto a cot. Despite being unscathed, he was making an attempt at gathering his wits. He wiped a sheen of sweat from his head and glanced upwards, catching Tedan's eye. "I'm good." Even though it wasn't asked, he answered anyway. "You? Seen Gale?" Or Before. Or Molly. Was Molly okay?

Aleister looked a bit frazzled as he followed the moon hunter into the tent. "S-should we get the... green slime stuff off?"
He looked at the acid with a worried face it was still clinging to his fear shield and he would swear it might be eating at it.

"Not yet," Tedan answered, shaking his head. Yes, he was answering the last question first, so sue him. Then he offered the other a faint smile. "It didn't get me too bad. I figured out there was a pattern." Ugh, stupid centipedes. Though he couldn't help but remember how completely awesome Allan had looked fighting them ...

((Entering)) Candace was, to say the least, amazed that she felt fine. She felt disgusting, sure. She was covered with sand and had centipede vomit on her, but other than that she was okay! In all honesty she would have loved to have seen Allan, Simon and Julie in action. It could be educational! But she knew better than to linger somewhere that was out of her league...though she had a feeling she'd be doing a lot of that during this mission. A lot of it. Atropos was unsummoned as she turned and ran as ordered, not looking back for even a second until she was safe and sound inside the first tent she saw. Oh...infirmary. She felt fine, she didn't need medical attention yet..but maybe they could help out. Cass had the right idea. "That wasn't so bad." She said mostly to herself, taking off her gloves and putting them safely in her pocket. There was no fighting in here so there was no need to wear them. She got out her phone after that, humming cheerfully as she scrolled through her contacts a moment. She didn't know where Clarice was right now, but she didn't want to waste time. lizbot Text to Clarice:Thank you for the gloves! <3333 I'll put them to good use. The text sent, the phone was pocketed and Candace took that chance to look around. Some people were a bit beat up but..it could've been worse. Molly was okay. Good. She could handle Rep. Did anyone else need help..? ((Anyone's free to bother Candace, yo.))

Normally Rep would have utterly bitten the other hunter's head off for so much as impugning his pride by implying that he needed help. And that was the first instinct that weakly made itself known to him. Before it rather feebly withered and died.
He held still to let her help him but didn't smile, just stayed deadly serious.
"Thanks."

Sherry didn't have to be told twice. Both centipedes fell, and the next thing she knew the trainees were being told to move while more centipedes were on their way. Sherry had never been happier to see the other Hunters and their daggers.
She entered the infirmary tent without a word. She had taken a bit of damage, so hanging around and taking care of that was her top priority, along with getting cleaned up.

Julie in charge was scary back at Deus but here it was- somewhat nostalgic. She seemed more like the person Clarice probably saw. A skilled moon hunter. Her weapon was, he'd admit, pretty ******** amazing. Looking back he should have picked up on it when they worked on the kitchens. He felt another wave a guilt. Julie was Julie and he was usually quick to tell people to avoid her due her eccentricities but- She meant well. She knew what she was doing when it came to her job if nothing else.
Looking to some around, his eyes passed over Cass. He didn't want to, but each time he saw her, he worried more about her, wanting to just- No. Dis's voice was firm. They couldn't. No matter what he wanted, he had to put his job, himself, first. Catching sight of Jude he went over, Dis still in his hand. "Hey Jude." This time, there wre no melodious hints to the greeting. "Kind of suck at healing. Want to join me doing one of those patrols Julie mentioned?"
