Molly was there, back at the training grounds, because she really wanted that promotion. Like bad. Like so bad. So there she was, standing, hands clasped over her stomach and just looking oh so wide eyed and hopeful. Though she didn't say it out loud, it was clear by her body language and look on her face that she wanted to spar someone. She was just really shy at asking.

Considering how long he had been at Deus Ex and how hard he had been working, Jason had wondered if he was anywhere near being promoted himself. Because he would love the chance to be a actual hunter and not just a trainee as he had been one for so long, and it was embarrassing to know that others that had been here half the time he had had already been promoted. It was something he tried not to think about. For now he decided it was best to get in some actual sparring, because that would probably help his chances a lot more then whining about it. When he reached the fields, he saw a very hopeful looking Molly, just standing there and looking very eager for something. Well, since they were on the training fields, he could fairly assume... "Uumm..." He stood beside the girl. "..W-would you like to spar?"

Molly understood those feels, Jason. She understood.The trainee had been day dreaming again though, so she didn't register the other trainee standing beside her until he spoke up. Molly practically leapt out of her skin, going side ways as she stared at him wide eyed. "JASON!" She exclaimed, and immediately pressed a hand over her erratically beating heart. "Oh gosh...you startled me!" She laughed nervously. "I'm so sorry!" Luckily, she remembered the trainee from their awesome and close Hunter Tournament Finals Match...because a lot of times Molly would forget people she only met once and then hadn't seen in a while. His question, though, had a hopeful and excited look brightening up her face. "Oh, yes! Please! Thank you so much!" She took some steps back and summoned her weapon.

It was...extremely odd to see someone else leaping out of the skin. Since it was something he always did and thought no one else would. "S-sorry Molly!" He exclaimed, holding his hands out to steady the girl. "I d-didn't mean to startle you." He also remember the girl from the tournament, the only one who was thankfully able to beat him instead of the other way around.
"Y-your welcome" Jason replied, summoning his own weapon and took a few steps forward, before lunging forward as if he were a fencer, sword pointing straight at molly.
He was trying some new tactics.

"Oh, it's okay, really!" She insisted, now well over and past that now that she was sparring. Molly was ready. So ready and then-- She let out a yelp as Jason delivered a powerful attack right off the bat. "W-wow..." She gasped. "Ni-nice attack!" She then thrust her weapon forward and jabbed the trainee in return. "How have you been, Jason?" She figured she could see what he was up to while they were sparring. It had been a while! HP: 39 / 50

"Thank you!" Jason was surprised with how good the attack had been. Maybe he had gotten better? The thought was short lived when Molly retaliated, the moon trainee having to scramble out of the way of the large lance. "Ooomfph! I've been good. Doing the usual things" Which included studying, trying not to die, keeping out of Caelius or Dr.H's way and screaming at scary things. "Have you been well?" HP: 43 Damage: 2 Charge: 2/3

Molly nodded her head, though she was wondering what the 'usual things' were for Jason...but he seemed well and just as nice and polite as their Tournament spar so...that was good! Right? Hopefully. "Oh, I've been well, thank you for asking! I think I'm really close to being able to apply for a promotion! So I'm...excited?" After Jason's hit she swung her lance for one of her own. HP: 37 / 50

"Really? T-thats great to hear! I think I might be up for promotion soon myself..." It felt weird to be having a everyday conversation while he was trying to dodge the massive weapon Molly wielded. He had to wonder just how strong she really was It was hard for him to get close to her, as with her wide swings he could only keep to the sidelines, then dash in to make a small cut and back out again before he was skewered. At least he was getting a good workout. HP: 39 Damage: 2 Charge: 3/3

Molly gasped, delighted. "Oh, that's wonderful! Congratulations!" On your close to promotion situation. While Molly never moved around much during her spars, she did try to keep Jason within her line of sight and turned her body and weapon as she moved. As he ducked in and made a strike she parried, swiping him with the tip of her weapon. HP: 35 / 50

The congratulations was a nice thing to hear, and he couldn't help the heat that rose in his face at the compliment. "T-thankyou- Woah!" He went to say, but was distracted by the swipe of Molly's Lance. The moon lunged to the ground, going into a roll to escape the majority of the blow as he continued to circle around his opponent, looking to get in past her defense. Seeing a opening, he dashing in and sliced, trying to jump out of Molly's striking range. HP: 34 Damage: 4 Charge: 3/3

Molly couldn't move or block fast enough, and made an 'eep' sound as Jason delivered a strike. She couldn't retaliate fast enough, and ended up missing the trainee. "This sure beats the weather during our last spar, huh?" She commented cheerfully. HP: 31 / 50

After he was clobbered by the oversized lance, Jason wasn't..fully sure if he was or not. Nothing appeared to be broken.. "Y-yeah, I'm okay." he replied as he got to his feet and struck out. HP: 28 Damage: 5 Charge: 3/3
