Nickname: Rora, Disney Princess, "Yes, mother"

School: DCU (Crystal Academy alum)
Fav. Food: Baked goods and homemade dishes
Hated Food: Anything that comes out of the water xp (Fish, seaweed, etc)

Ethnicity: Native American
Height/body type: 5'8 with a fairly average body type (not a stick thin/dancer body). Curvy enough to show she has curves, but still relatively fit.
Eye color: Teal
Hair color/style: Silver/white, most commonly pulled up into a bun with multiple braids hanging from it. When not in an upstyle the hair easily reaches her knees.
Style/fashion: Fairly prim and proper. Classy and clean, but with quite a few baubles to play with. She makes a genuine effort to look nice and prefers natural and cool hues. (Based on her mood she can dress really flashy or really simply but she wouldn't touch baggy shirts, emo designs, underwear exposed, or anything crazy XD)
Hobbies:
Suzy homemaker -- Aurora loves cooking, sewing, and cleaning (mostly because they are easy and constant things for her to do to waste time without laying about). She enjoys sharing these skills with others as well if asked.
Dancing -- Aurora took up dancing when she was young and has found it a very good way to train and hone her body and a release for her energy. She partakes in many styles and types including ballet, ballroom, salsa, and just about anything else classically trained. She finds bumping and grinding quite vulgar however.
Prettying herself up -- Doing her hair, putting on make up, playing dress up, Aurora likes to look good. Bathing is one of the few lazy indulgences she allows herself and she will spend easily an hour or three a day one hygeine and beauty.
Virtues:
Natural born leader -- Excellent at putting together plans and rallying people under her, Aurora is a natural born leader. Clever in most situations, driven, and idealistic she can find the good and worth in everyone, making it easy for her to 'place' others in roles suited to them.
Instinctive -- Aurora has a great sense of direction, both literally and figuratively, and excellent insticts. Her gut hunches and instincts have an uncanny way of usually working out for her, and she's a pretty good reader of people.
Good Role Model -- Because she believes she is a leader, and that others should look up to her, Aurora strives to be the best. A hardworker in school, an adequete athelete, a good homemaker, she doesn't allow herself many indulgences. She gets good grades, doesn't smoke/do drugs, doesn't goof off, and is.. in almost all respects a great student and rolemodel in responsibility, albeit a little stuffy.
Energizer Bunny -- Aurora can go and go and go far longer then the average person. Full of seemingly boundless energy she's always doing something (frivalous of not). This often means she can get alot more work done and practice in then others, and she's endlessly driven to try more.
Flaws:
Need to be in control -- Aurora has a need to be in control whether or not anyone else wants or asks her to do the job. Because of this she often butts heads (well usually words!) with other independent girls and authority figures. She absolutely cannot stand being ordered around or being put in a submissive place.
Brashness -- Aurora thinks and feels on her feet, often leading her to jump into situations without giving it much thought. Both dangerous and foolish this can often get herself and others into trouble that would otherwise, be easily avoided.
Judgemental -- Because she often values others based on what they can do and what they're good for, Aurora can be a bit overly judgemental. Believing herself to be pretty perfect she is hard on the faults of others and can be nagging or downright bitchy in trying to 'lead' others to the right path.
Can't sit still (borderline OCD) -- Aurora is a bundle of energy and listlessness, making it near impossible for her to ever simply sit still. She has to be doing homework, working on something, or at the very least undoing and redoing her braids over and over. She can get easily frusterated hanging around indivduals who are slackers or otherwise 'lazy'.~~~~********~~~~
Home life and family Aurora was born and raised on a cattle ranch. When she was only 7 her mother died during childbirth. Being the only girl out of the six siblings, Aurora was pampered and sheltered by her father. Kept away from the 'rough and dangerous' task of farm work she quickly took up the much needed role of 'mother' cooking, cleaning, mending clothing, and generally caring for the wellbeing of her father and five brothers. Though well off, the children went to nearby country schools, although Aurora was spoiled early on with special dance classes.
When she was 13, her father remarried, and upon urging by her step mother she's been shipped off to boarding schools ever since. Though her relationship with her step mother is strained (a bit of a fight for father's attention and love) she loves her father and brothers dearly, and enjoys visiting them for holidays. It isn't uncommon for her to receive gifts and packages from her father as well. Aurora didn't mind being on her own either, enjoying the peace and quiet, and especially the prestige of Crystal Academy.
Since becoming a senshi she's been trying to juggle her life with her powered life (though her real life usually takes a little bit of a backseat to her powered life.
At current she's living with her boyfriend Azzo, his dog Merlin, and her Guardian cat Snowball.
In the winter of 2014 her father got sick and eventually died in the early spring of 2015.

* Laid back, good natured. Peacemaker of the family. Took over the family ranch after their father's passing.
Chayton (falcon) 21
* Troublemaker. Closet in age to Aurora and therefore the one that tried to tease her or push her buttons the most. Going to be going to college for a business degree (hopefully).
Bodaway (fire maker) 17
* As a child he was always trying to be just like his big brothers Chayton and Mato. A bit of a follower and easily tempted. Seems more interested in working at the ranch with Tokala then finishing school or finding a job elsewhere.
Lallo (little boy) 15
* As a child an absolute sweetie. Being the baby he was fairly doted on and spoiled almost as much as Aurora. He tended to be a good, sweet boy, but a little bit of a tattle tell and easily upset. In his teen years he's becoming more interested in learning about the outside world. Hoping to travel and study abroad when he's older.

Attacks
Magnetic field -- Metal and magnetic items in the area are lifted and pelted at an enemy. Pelted with aluminum cans, b***h slapped with a stop sign, why yes yes. >3
The attack continues until the items have hit something and stop moving. Rather random and chaotic, strength of attack decides how big of items she can move, allies can get hit too.
Super magnetic field -- Similar to magnetic field, except Polaris has a little more control over the attack. Items can be vaguely guided a little better causing hits against allies to reduce and hits against the bad guys to increase a little more. Still dodgeable! Needs a round of posts to recharge and use again. Can use up to three times in a battle.
Magnetic attraction -- Can now magnetize two people instead of a person + metal. Uses negative and positive poles to cause two people to either stick together (and remain stuck for a few turns) or repel each other and be unable to get close. Offensive/defensive
Tiara throw -- Generic tiara throw that will dust weak youma and possibly annoy human opponents. (Can be done as princess or Eternal)
Princess powers: Only useable while in Princess stage
Polaris Crystal Power Repulsion -- When Polaris summons the power of her crystal everyone within 150 feet of her (on all sides) will suddenly begin to repel each other. This effects both allies and enemies to the point where they are physically flung away from anyone they are near and unable to get closer than six feet to anyone else affected for 90 seconds.
The benefit of this attack is that it give senshi a chance to run off and heal if necessary. Also, since many have long ranged attacks they are less likely to be affected by the distance.
Magnetic sixth sense -- While in her princess form Polaris has a sort of sixth sense for magnetic and metallic items in the area. Without needing to even look for them she can feel and identify nearby magnetic items, making it very useful for other attacks that rely on said objects. This is something that happens naturally and is not a channeled magic

Symbolism and Information Polaris
aka- the pole star or "The North Star" ~ Because of it's placement above the earth's pole, from an earth point of view, Polaris appears fixed in place with the other stars rotating around it.
~ The North Star has historically been used for navigation, both to find the direction of north and to determine latitude. It has been used by lost campers to find their way back home. It always appears due north in the sky, and the angle it makes with respect to the horizon is equal to the latitude of the observer.
~ The most famous story about the North Star is the Native American myth explaining why the North Star stands still. In this story, a brave son Na-Gah tried to impress his father by climbing the tallest cliff he could find. Through difficult conditions he persisted until he found himself at the top of a very high mountain. The mountain was so tall that Na-Gah looked down on all the other mountains. Unfortunately, there was no way down. When his father came looking for him, he found Na-Gah stuck high above. Moving Day - Aurora Namid
solo rp - word count 799 -Her fingers fidgeted through her hair, separating and twisting at small braids again and again for the upteenth time of the day. It was a common habit, usually subconscious, but today it’d happened enough times to bring it even to her attention, causing a displeased sigh to escape her. Aurora shifted on the cushioned stool, staring at the mostly empty room, waiting… waiting.
It wasn’t a bad room at all, despite it’s emptiness, it was in fact quite possibly one of the nicest rooms she’d been placed in since her adventure into boarding schools a few years before. It was large and airy, the walls warm with color, and light flooding in through large windows. To the left she could see the entrance to the bathroom, a place she’d already encountered with delight upon realizing she actually had a bath of her own. And along the wall to the right a simple sink and cabinet set upheld her attention. It certainly wasn’t going to be the place of any great baking masterpieces but it WAS something, and she was pleased with the opportunity. Father had really chosen well this time. Crystal Academy seemed like a wonderful place to be, a gem amid the schools that made up Destiny City. Funny city name that was…
The knock at the door stirred Aurora from her thoughts, her shoulders pulling up out of the soft slump they’d fallen into, and quickly she scurried towards the intrusion. They were here! Finally here. She just HATED waiting on everyone else’s timeline. She really couldn’t understand why everyone else always seemed to travel along at snails pace anyway. Alas.. she was far to small to move furniture herself.. so what could she do?
Smiling politely she opened the door, motioning past her mildly as she stepped back to allow the two men in. They’d have to survey the room of course, decide which piece should come in first.- “Would you like some water? Tea, maybe?”
“I’m afraid I don’t have much else to offer yet,” -Aurora mused softly, motioning once more to the almost empty room. The men wandered the room for a few brief moments, Aurora knealing to dig through a small box as they left. Unwrapping each piece enough to get a peek at it’s contents, she stopped when the gleam of her silver teapot touched her eyes, setting aside the cloth that’d carefully wrapped it before.
Aurora paused softly as a mild bang drew her attention to the doorway, her large wedge of a frame and mattress being clumsily maneuvered through the door frame.- “Careful.” -She piped, simply and softly, trying to make sure no damage had occurred to the wall as she stepped out of the way of the movers, finger pointing towards the corner of wall nearest one of the large windows. Her bed had always been the hardest to fit piece of furniture she had... but she loved it nonetheless, a special splurge her father had made upon her move to her first boarding school. Watching the piece shift into position, she was delighted to find it fit alright, and set herself to digging through boxes again as the men left once more.
Now that she was certain her bed fit she could put up her curtains and the beautiful silk canopy. The rose decorated curtains were simple enough work, a rod already provided, but she struggled a bit with the canopy, standing high upon her toes even as they sunk into the soft mattress. She glanced awkward over her shoulder as the men returned once more, pointing beside the bed for the dresser gripped between the two figures. Canopy successfully hung, Aurora went to the teapot once more adding bags to the hot water to await the return of her movers once more. Making a mental inventory of the remaining pieces that needed to come up as she poured the tea into three small cups, she wondered softly if she’d have a roommate this year.
Not that she minded a roommate… no, the room was plenty big for the two of them. It was just nice how airy it was right now. Clutter quickly bothered Aurora, so she hoped if she DID have a roommate it would be one with bare tastes like her, not with twelve hundred chairs and five million pairs of shoes.
Cleaning the empty cups as the men disappeared and reappeared over and over with the final boxes and pieces, Aurora breathed a sigh of relief when they were finally gone. Now she could get to some actual work, moving around the light pieces, unpacking the minimal decorations and supplies. Now that it was all her, well, surely she’d be done in no time! Then maybe she could treat herself with a nice bath.-
