User Image Ah the life of a page. Patrolling the (hopefully quiet) streets.. staring at his brand new awesome ring. Grinning like a moron at how nice the past week had been. No big youma... no super mean enemies.. AND he'd totally found the fountain of youth and a magical ring that let him send messages to his buddies. It was not a power safe in his hands. It was a power that was definately going to be abused to death.

As such he was near skipping, except not because he knew he'd trip on his robes and eat concrete if he did, a happy hum dwindling down the streets as he plotted and thought. Who should get his first message? What should he write about? Did it only work for knights?

Maybe he could send STUFF. That'd be total cool and cost efficient. He'd have to try it once he decided who and what he wanted to try with. Could he send himself a message? Only time would tell.

Nothing stopped the postal service! Howlite, included.

"Well," A laugh, the sort of light and genuinely pleased sound that only girl could make, echoing off the walls of the nearby buildings. "Aren't you pretty?" Night had fallen, and with it, restlessness had come. Howlite had long since completed her energy quota [she was an extremely efficient worker], and now walked the streets.

He was skipping, even. That was fantastic.

Grinning, the blonde would be seen ahead of him, arms crossed where she leaned against a brick wall, brows raised. "Off to the ball, princess?" Somehow, from her mouth, it didn't sound particularly insulting.

His shoulders jolted with the sudden sound, even as unassuming as the laugh might have started. It took him a step or two to slide to a stop given his forward motion, just in time for actual words to catch his attention, eyes turning cautiously in their direction.

They weren't friendly words... well.. they WERE but.. sarcasm! How many meetings had he had with other powered people in which sarcasm had spiraled into a bruised collarbone or attempted skwering?

Nonetheless... it wasn't like Bimini to not atleast try to talk himself out the situation. It'd worked once after all! And Cosmos knights, as he would come to find out tended to prize peace and loveeeee.

His grin was wide despite the nervousness behind it, giving her a half curtsy with flowy sash. "There's a party on the rooftop, top of the world tonight." The soft singsong of his voice gave notice to the fact that he was quoting a song if she didn't know.. or maybe he just really WAS a 'sparkly little princess'.

"Haven't you heard?" His hands shifted a little on his 'weapon' now, just in case.

"Just came from it, actually." And, as a matter of fact, there was a passed out man on a roof nearby, drained. Her own grin was grew reckless, as she saw his hand grip the bowl. Seemed she wasn't the only one with something silly as a 'weapon'. Though. Who knew what it could do.

"Nice bowl," she called him out on it, pushing off the wall with a foot. "What's in it? Fruit punch?"

It wasn't usually Howlite's M.O. to start fights, but she was feeling playful.

Uh oh... here she came. "Acid last time I checked" He bluffed.

Would she believe? He probably should have went with something a bit more subtle... But people had assumed it was more then just plain old water before, so who knew.

If they were going to fight... He had to stand his ground.. to not just run away. He couldn't promise to Camelot that he'd protect people and then just let all the bad guys run around wrecking havoc.

And so his stance shifted to prepare for whatever she had to offer. Too bad he didn't really have a tough face to put on. "Want to take your chances?"

"Always," A wide, bright grin flashing across her freckled face was his only warning, before the kickboxer advanced, slicing the distance between them with a hard, bladed foot. It was, however, aimed for the bowl, rather than, say, his head or body.

Acid. She was learning that, just like her 'weapon' was a bit useless, most beginning good guys had crappy starter equipment, too. Despite her aggressive motions, she didn't seem particularly malicious. Mischievous, perhaps.

((So sorry for the delay! Convention stole me the last couple of days, responses will be much more timely now and we can finish it up asap heart ))

He wasn't really sure if she'd actually HIT his bowl with her foot, or it was just her impending hit that had caused him to try and propel it away from himself. Either way the bowl left his hand, tilting enough to pour some of the 'acid' onto him before the bowl clattered to the ground between them. Perhaps unsurprisingly he did not react with pain or screaming.

It was probably sheer luck and self preservation skills at all that he reacted at all in defense, his hand swinging forward in a wild punch as he tried to back up without tripping on his weapon.

"Cheater" He insisted with the same sort of playful force he did in a gaming session. Even with his life in danger poor Bimini had a hard time keeping serious and/or mature.

[It's not a problem, Iris! <3]

"Aww, don't be a poor sport," Her wide grin matched his playful energy, almost as if she'd just gotten some sort of score on him at an arcade game. Her dark eyes lit on the water[?] that had hit him, without causing any damage, and she laughed, closing the distance between them.

If she got close enough, the blonde would give him a shove. Much better than the hard, rib-breaking kicks and punches she was capable of. "Just cause I called your bluff."

It was almost like she was toying with him.

Why was he grinning? How exactly had a little taunting back and forth seemed to overweigh the nagging feeling of 'danger danger'. Maybe because she didn't seem as blood thirsty as Ilmenite and Painite had... even Vulcan with their little misunderstanding. It almost seemed more like a playful game.

That did not mean that injuries didn't hurt though. The shove sent him skittering back, stumbling once and then twice as his feet caught on his own sash, and he toppled to the ground.

"With a weapon like this you can't really blame me for bluffing now can you?" He almost laughed, but not unstrangely he didn't find himself curious of her weapon. If things worked out well hopefully he'd never see HER weapon.

His bowl, now empty was lofted above his head and tossed towards her like a frisbee of metal. His aim was never that amazing though, so even if it hit the damage was hardly be critical.

"No," a forearm lashed out, to intercept the bowl and send it flying. It hurt, a little, in that 'bang your arm' sort of way. "I can't,"

That dangerous, wide grin brightened her features again as she advanced on him where he sat, reaching down to grab his uniform in one firm hand. A yank, then, and she raised her brows.

"I'm almost sorry to say that I'm going to have to hurt you." He was awfully sweet.

Oh s**t...

Not only was he on the ground, but she deflected the bowl like a pro, the metal clattering on the ground harmlessly a few yards away. And before he could do much shuffling or crawling to right himself she had snagged a handful of uniform.

His robes. Sometimes they were great. He'd looped that one youma in his sash that one time to keep it at bay.. and all the folds often kept stuff from getting past the cloth to skin. But then there were times like this. He was stuck, and who knew if he could get his way out.

Wriggling and squirming against her grip, he tried to back up, cowering after a moment. "Hurt.. but not kill right? Live to see another day?"

Was he really relenting?

"Maybe if you play nice," She murmured, thoughts elsewhere as his resistance faded. Howlite had been ordered to gather energy tonight, not ordered to gather the starseeds of senshi. Still, Uranophane would be pleased. What a dilema.

Wrinkling her nose slightly, the blonde raised her free hand above his chest, beginning to focus...

If Camelot saw him now... well.. the elder knight would certainly not be happy with the page of the Cosmos. But at the same time... If she wasn't going to kill him.. just harvest some energy like Benitoite said.. well.. wasn't it better that it come from him instead of some poor civilian?

A little of his energy and maybe she'd just go home... noone else being injured by her hand. It seemed an even trade.

But then.. maybe he was being naive.. too optimistic.

Of course, just earlier that week, Sailor Draconis had burnt her without a second thought, and really, without provocation. The 'good guys' weren't always so friendly. If she left this guy alone, who was to say he wouldn't be hurting someone else later? Fluorite? Uranophane? Any of them.

"I'm sorry," The smile that drained from her face would warn Bimini that playtime was over, and that Howlite had made a decision.

His starseed.

His eyes had lulled shut as he'd made the decision to just let her take his energy. But the apology... It was strange enough to warrent his eyes opening once more, this time greeted by an expression far more troubling then anything he'd seen before.

His danger senses were tingling and again the Cosmos knight tried to wriggle frantically free.

Polaris had been patrolling when she felt the soft pulse of both light and chaotic energy resonating through the evening air. It was entirely possible that it was two people.. completely unrelated.. just two figures going on about their business that happened to be somewhere within the same area. But then.. what if it wasn't?

With no sign of any youma yet Polaris was quick to pick up the new task, searching for the two energy sources in the best way that she could. A lack of screaming or sounds of battle made finding the pair difficult. But it seemed Bimini was having a lucky day in the end.

She had spotted the two finally in the distance when Bimini had fallen. Howlite leaned in to grip the fabric of his robes and the eternal senshi of magnetism didn't have time to try and make an introduction. Let her powers do that for her. "Magnetic field!"

They may or may not have heard the words call from a nearby rooftop, but both Bimini and Howlite could hear the clatter of metal beginning to rattle nearby, and suddenly the pair was being showered in small metal objects. Cans... bolts.. small bits of unknown litter. Even Bimini's bowl had made a reapperance mystically picking itself up and flying towards them.

As the strange scene unfolded Polaris hopped off of the roof, coming to rest with her hands on her hips. Two unfamiliar faces, both fairly new if the power level was correct. For once she seemed to put aside her usual long winded greetings, too busy accessing the situation. No starseeds lost on her watch. Not if she had anything to do with it!
