-It was a fairly normal fall night, the air cool, the streets starting to thin out more then they had been over summer. Children had school and the cooler weather wasn't as condusive of teenage loitering.. so most of the people on the street were of the non civilian sort.
A low rumble sounded like a growl through the air, the street beneath Polaris quivering enough to get her attention. An earthquake...? But it sounded like it was just coming from the left...
Picking up the pace Polaris made her way around the street corner skidding to a halt as the source came into view.
At the very edge of the park was a tree, huge and gangly compared to those around it. It's leafless branches swayed in a manner that was clearly more the wind, a twisted face seeming to peer out of the trunk. The darkness and evil it radiated was clearly that of a youma.. just... one she'd never seen anything like before.-

Hugbell was... sorta getting the hang of things, unfornately she couldn't really battle by herself. At all. When the ground quivered it called to the young senshi's curiosity.
She arrived beside Polaris. Yellow and blue shoes taking a second to grip the ground. "Woah..." She said seeing her first non-'dino' youma. "He's kinda big..." She said softly, the teddy bear hood fell slightly to distort her view. She pushed it back up slightly.

-He's kinda big was exactly the thought running through Polaris' head when it was echo'd by a small voice to her right. Glancing curiously she was more than surprised to see a little girl in what looked like pajamas, teddy bear and all. Her breath caught in her throat for the moment, mother like concern tugging her chest.-
"It's really dangerous out here sweetie." -She cooed sweetly after a moment, dismissing the idea she had to try and insist it was all just a dream.- "You should head back to bed before your teddy gets all cold and scared"
-She was doing her best to keep her face calm for the little one, to keep herself calm, but it was getting harder the more those limbs swung. A loud crackling sounded as a piece of branch, thankfully more like a stick, flew in their direction, the super senshi swinging her arm up to try and deflect it from hitting the pair.-

Hugbell tilted her head as she watched the tree move. She shook her head, "I can help." She said as she stood near the older senshi. "I'm a senshi too."
She gave a nod, she might've been small but she could help. She took a small step back when a piece of branch flew towards them, well a stick. She chuckled, "Teddy helps too!" She smiled as she watched the tree ready to move if it tried to hit them again.

-She's a what!? Her head snapped, eyes narrowing on the little girl. She could see it now that she really looked.. the tell tell signs. The bows on the bottom and chest, the flourish of skirt. She was... a senshi. Polaris could feel her stomach turn slightly at the thought. Even with the glamour magic... she doubted the little one was anywhere near the double digits in age.
They'd have to talk about it. And about little girls out patrolling on their own. But now was not the time.- "What is your power like sweetheart?"
-Always good to use strategy before rushing in and wasting your energy.
The youma seemed to be rooted into the ground, a blessing that was apparently a trade off for it's terrible size. Branches swatted the ground in rage as it anticipated the energy of the senshi gathered around it, ripping up dirt and grass that flung harmlessly their way.
The ground began to shake and rumble again, as if it's roots were tearing up the ground below, and Polaris stumbled, barely catching herself from falling.-

Hugbell stood there as she was being looked at, long and hard. She shifted slightly under the scrutiny. Her arms were wrapped around the bear.
"My bear catches things..." She said, "Or... well I guess he tries to. He can grow and be able to catch you but he kinda doesn't move... So he could miss catching you...." She said with another shift of the feet as she watched the big tree occasionally backing up when he'd throw something.
"Ekk!" Hugbell however wasn't quite as talented to catch herself before she fell, so she ended up sitting on the ground looking a bit unhappy at the mean tree.

-Well that wasn't very helpful.. all the more reason she shouldn't be out and about on her own. She couldn't even really rely on punching and kicking that much Polaris imagined... It seemed like a bad joke.
The little girl fell over and Polaris was there after a moment, not offering a hand, but instead warning her softly.- "Cover your head real quick okay."
-She had been too distracted for her usual scouting of the area for metal, so today was going to be a surprise. Put on a wild attack and then decide what to use from whatever ended up presenting itself.
Standing behind Hugbell, in hopes of taking any small hits that might occur from her attack Polaris stretched her arms wide.- "Magnetic Field"

Istas nodded softly, as she watched Polaris call her attack. Butter yellow eyes softly scanning the area to see what Polaris's attack was going to do. Obviously she wasn't use to being a senshi, and she only snuck out for a bit...
She watched the tree monster curiously as well. Hugbell had decided to stay seated on the ground for a bit.

-Being closer to the park and away from the clutter of the city the pickings for her attack were slim. Plenty of large items were around.. cars.. heavy benches, light poles. But those things just shivered a little as energy and magnetism filled the air not leaving their planted states. A few aluminum cans, a few screws and nuts, and one fairly flimsy wire trashcan was all that ended up flying towards the tree, all of which fell harmlessly off the trunk after hitting.
The face shifted, an angry sound ripped through the air, ground beginning to rumble once again. It seemed if anything she'd pissed it off, not hurt it and that realization brought forth a unpleased grimace.
Without much thought she burst forward, running towards the dented trashcan as she tried her best to avoid furiously swinging branches. One nailed her, pushing her back, leaving a fresh pink sting that would likely still be there in the morning. She pushed through nonetheless, trying her best to get close.
The trunk was only yards away, the trashcan even closer. Polaris reached her hands outward and suddenly wooosh! Blood rushed to her head as she was flipped upside down in the blink of the eye, rough pressure tightening around her ankle.
Dangling from one of the high branches, a shrill shriek escaped the surprised senshi.-

Istas watched as the senshi tried to attack the large beast. She blinked as things just shivered in place. This didn't look good, how were they suppose to fight it?"
Polaris took off after the trashcan that had come along. She watched as the older senshi almost got it... right before she was grabbed. "OH NO!" She grabbed her bear and tossed it to where she thought the other senshi might be thrown. Hoping she wasn't wrong.
"TEDDY COMFY CATCHES!" She called out and watched the teddy bear expand. She looked around, there had to be something that was of use? No way she was going after the trashcan, not after the bigger senshi got caught! The younger senshi seemed slightly frightened. "What do I do?" She asked no one in particular, since the other senshi was too busy being dangled in the air.

-It was incredibly disorienting to be upside down. Even more so when being swung and jostled with a vengence by a tree monster intent on ripping you to pieces and eating your starseed. Her free foot kicked wildly at her other ankle, trying to pry herself free as momentum and gravity worked both for and against her. Frantic squeaks mixed with monsterous moans as the brief tussle occurred.
Just as suddenly as she'd been scooped up, a well placed kick had freed Polaris, and she was falling very fast, her left boot dangling from the tree for a few seconds longer before joining her in the plummet.
She'd braced herself for the crash against the ground, tensing up in the exact opposite fashion as one was supposed to in the situation. But luck was on her side. Her back hit the well placed teddy matress, helping to cushion the blow and the pain. Even though only half of her had landed it was the important top half. No broken bones... no broken neck.
Sitting up, trying to realign her senses and bloodflow, she called out weakly.- "P.. Push the bench as hard as you can!"
-Bracing her body weight and stability against one hand Polaris lifted the other, focusing her energy to best she could despite a swimming head. The bench. The monster. If she could just give it enough power maybe it would be enough.- "Super Magnetic Field!"
-Please let the little girl hear.. and please let it be enough momentum to get the bench moving.-

Hugbell was to the bench as fast as she could. She'd heard something about the bench and when she saw it start to shiver she put all her weight into the bench.
Bad thing about being 9 was there was only so much help you could provide. Even with senshiness, she was hoping it wouldn't need just one more person. She paused, thinking, 'lift with your knees' she remembered her father saying. If only the bench was tall enough to get under properly Hugbell turned around her back to the bench and her hands pulling on the bench itself she used her body and knees to try to help move it. "Come on...."
"I don't think I'm strong enough!" She called as she tried. If only there was another way if she couldn't get it to actually.

-Luckily it wasn't Istas' confidence that was being tested. Though it strained against her and seemed like it wouldn't be enough it's shivering finally took flight. Whether it was a burst of adreneline in both of the senshi or simply that the bench had only needed a little bit more was anyone's guess. But just as hoped the heavy piece of metal furniture flew quickly towards the youma tree. There was a heavy rumbling of the ground, nearby car alarms screaming to life, and a loud roar echo'd through the night sky as the bench smashed the trunk, shattering pieces of bark and darkness every which way.
Branches began to curl and sway, crackling as the tree shivered before exploding into enough dust that it looked like the confetti of the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Polaris laid back against the ground as soon as it was over, a heavy sigh of relief escaping her. Small youma were definately better.
Speaking of small...-

Hugbell appeared back over beside Polaris after having picked up her Teddy bear. Sitting down she smiled softly, "Was that good?" She asked curiously as she watched the winded senshi with her head tilted.
Her hood slipped a bit again, and hugbell had to adjust it again watching some of the dust as it fluttered through the air before it stilled on the ground.

"It was very good." -She nodded, propping herself up once more, offering a soft smile.- "I couldn't have done it without you."
-The battle was done, the danger had passed, and slowly her thoughts from before were flooding back. She wondered how long the little girl had been a senshi.. how it'd even happened.- "I'm Super Sailor Polaris and... I never seen a senshi as little as you."
"Didn't your cat tell you that you shouldn't be patrolling alone?" -It was a warning that she thought was necessary for anyone without an offensive attack, but the point seemed even more poignant for the little one.
She was fretting, the words beginning to spill out of her like a worried mother.- "You really should join a team I think. Do you know how dangerous it is out here? Some of the other girls have gotten really really hurt and they're well... probably bigger and stronger."
"Let me see your cellphone so I can put my number in.. that way you can call if you get into trouble."
