 -Class was done for the day and most students were out doing what they enjoyed most. Hanging out with friends, playing sports, even just loafing around being lazy and enjoying the lack of things they HAD to do. Aurora however.. was sitting on a park bench, trying very hard not to let tears trickle down her cheek.
When and exactly how things had began to go so wrong.. she wasn't sure. She had so few friends... sure that might have been her fault being busy and all, but the girls of Crystal Academy certainly weren't helping! Her grades were slipping due to ditching studying to hunt down youma. No boys even turned an eye her way... which was a blessing and a curse. And most importantly.. the dark cloud that had hung heavy on her shoulders for the past few days.. she'd been violated.
The thought of his hands reaching within her again.. digging around in her chest. The helplessness... the pain.. the sheer... wrongness of it. She couldn't help it anymore. He'd touched her deep inside.. in a way noone should be allowed to. And she'd almost failed. She Sailor Polaris had almost sucumb to death and the darkness. Tears trickled down her tanned cheeks as she let her bookbag slide to the ground.-

Azzo was walking around the park. His movements were still limited, why does it take ribs so long to heal? He was still mentally bitching about his disposition of hurting. He didn't have his school books, however his school uniform was stuffed into the bag, he hated wearing it, speically as cold as it was. Who wears shorts in the winter?
He paused, having passed by a girl sitting on one of the park benches. "Huh." He backed up and tilted his head looking at her almost in a comical manner. "Pardon me for prying...." He said with a pause as he thought, "... are you okay?"
He wasn't sure if he should sit beside her or just simply crouch down beside her. So he opted for the latter, he was dressed in his normal vest, long sleeved button up shirt and just a little bit baggy and wide legged pants. His top hat however was left at home today. Leaving his dog like hairstyle exposed to the world.

-Her eyes squeezed shut as the sudden voice and flash of movement touched her blurry vision, shoulders drawing in instintively, protectively.
I'm fine! It was the statement her head begged her to speak. Pity didn't do in anyone any good, what kind of a freak did she look like out here blubbering like a baby in public? And yet the words wouldn't form. As her mouth opened a pathetic squeak of breath was what escaped.
Aurora shook her head, to try and get rid of the tears. Or maybe.. well, maybe there was more to it then that.-

Azzo sat there crouched, head tilted, if she could see him straight he'd probably remind her of a dog. As his hair style seemed to be famous for doing.
He scooted back just a bit to give her more room, having noticed the slight tensing of her shoulders, before pulling from his shirt pocket a handkerchief. Grams always said you'd never know when you needed one... Azzo thought. "Here." He said softly, "Something to dry your eyes with." He offered it to her.
"Was someone mean to you?" He tried again to get an answer even a head shake. His honey brown eyes curious wanting to help. He wasn't pitying her, he just didn't like to see a girl cry.

-The bit of cloth held out for her was old fashioned perhaps.. but still utterly and completely appreciated. Tanned fingers reached out lightly before lifting the hankerchief to her cheeks, trying to stop the tears, now that she had a weapon against them.
They kept welling in her eyes, but atleast the speed had decreased, and Aurora sat up just a little, able to get a better view of the boy who knealed before her. Her breath drew up in harsh little breaths, before finally some words formed, burying her eyes once more in the soft cloth.- "I.. I'm s..sorry. I guess.. I'm not adj..justing so well."
-Stop crying!!, she berated herself silently.- "T..thanks for the hankerchief"
-Not that her fingers seemed quite ready to give it back yet.-

He smiled when she took the handkerchief, when she said she wasn't adjusting so well he paused. She wasn't a face he could even recall so she hadn't been at Barren Pines. Maybe she just moved here recently. "Oh. I'm sorry to hear that." He said looking around.
"Sometimes I find it a bit troublesome myself. What with all the weird things happening around here.... Like those monsters." He muttered the last bit so it was almost to the point of being under his breath. He was still scared everyone would think he was crazy. Fallon seemed to think the idea of him being able to track them was silly.
After a moment he tilted his head softly and offered his name, "I'm Azzo Crowley." He would've sat on the ground had it not been still damp from all the snow and nasty weather they'd been getting. So instead he shifted a little so he was more comfortable.
He grinned, "You're welcome Miss. Grams always said you never know when you might run into a use for a handkerchief. So I always carry one, and look it helped a pretty girl out today." He bit the inside of his lip slightly hoping he wouldn't upset her more with the compliment.

"Aurora Namid" -She recited softly, politely, scooting over just a little as she noticed his attempts to get comfortable crouching above the cold wet pavement.
Her breathing was settling, words coming more comfortably, but the salt water still trickled down her cheeks. Why she was divulging this all... even she couldn't really tell. It'd just been so long since she'd had a close friend.- "Switching schools is always rough. And Crystal Academy is nice... But things have been.. weird.. like you say."
-She paused for a long moment, eyes staring out at the white blanket that covered her dreary day.- "It's nice that you listen to your grandmother..." -Polite... he seemed like a nice boy. She just needed... to clear her head and get her wits back together.-

He smiled, "Nice to meet you. Named after the lights in the sky?" He grinned softly, "It'd be nice to actually get to see those in person." He looked at her when she scooted over.
"You don't mind?" He asked softly as he waited before sitting beside, he didn't want to make her uncomfortable. He was still a stranger after all. When she mentioned Crystal his eyes lit up a bit, "Oh! Melody just switched to there to. Maybe you'll run into her."
He smiled, "She's nice, you two might get along." He paused at the weird part. Nodding, wondering if she knew about the monsters and senshi. "Mm, never thought I'd see things that this place has. Out in the country it's a lot quieter."
He nodded, "She's never steered me wrong before. Just the occasional over stuffing me with cookies and other sweets." He chuckled softly with a sigh.

"I miss them too." -She confided with a weak smile, surprised he'd made the connection.- "They were pretty frequent back at home.."
-She shook her head lightly at his question, before nodding at his thought. Melody... it was a pretty name. And if she was nice... well atleast there were a few people at Crystal that weren't terrible. Her smile had already faded back to it's pout however by the time he'd finished talking. She couldn't help it. The corners of her mouth sagged subconciously along with her shoulders.
She'd always had such good posture.. one never would have guessed now.-
"She sounds wonderful." -Came the whistful sigh. God she missed it. The simplicity and joy of living in the country.. of baking and cleaning. It was the first time really she'd ever questioned her new 'job', felt anything other than pride and excitement and maybe a little fear..
Realizing the strangeness behind her lack of words.. especially when he was obviously... trying so hard, she added softly, still fingering the hankcheif, though now it sat in her lap, no longer dabbing her cheeks.- "I like to bake."

Azzo tilted his head, "Ah you must've lived in a pretty place."
When he settled on the bench he nodded, "Maybe you and Melody can get use to the school together." He said eyes glancing across the field, trying not to voice how much he wish he could remember things he'd forgotten.
He paused looking at her with a nod. "She's great to have around. Though I wish I could do a bit more exercise to keep all this fat she's putting on me in line."
He paused and blinked, "Oh you do? What kinds of things do you bake?" He asked curiously.

-She nodded softly to both his comment and suggestion. The corners of her mouth twitching momentarily upward as he mentioned exercise, musing lightly, too unobservant to realize he had a reason keeping him from it.- "Dance classes keep me pretty fit. Do you not have any sports you play?"
-Intwining her fingers together, she answered his curiousity mildly.- "I used to cook and bake all the meals for my family at home. But here only get to cook a couple times a week for me and a friend. Sometimes I entertain myself making cookies and pies though. For Christmas I even made of those yule log cakes. The fancy stuff is fun to do sometimes."

Azzo listened to her, "Dance classes sound fun." He said with a smile before shaking his head, "There's not many sports that interest me. When I can though I'm going to start up kick boxing classes I think. I saw the other day where they're having those at the gym."
He tilted his head listening, "Oh I'm sure your family misses your meals too." He smiled, "Oh I've never had a yule log cake but they always looked Delicious. Gram's is always trying different recipes." He paused and looked around and whispered, "some of them don't turn out that great but I always smile and eat it anyways." He said it like it was the greatest secret in the world.

-Ahhh... so even with appearing so... gentlemenly.. he was still like the rest. Rough and tumble. She would never understand it. Aurora nodded slightly to the words.
His next words redeemed him in a way however, and again the corners of her mouth travelled upwards just barely, if she'd been feeling better she might even have laughed. So polite and caring...-
"It's nice to try new things sometimes. Mili has said that I'll have to try a... what was it.. turducken? Some monsterous concoction where a chicken is put in a duck that is put in a turkey. Isn't that strange?" -She was actually laughing now, a couple soft giggles before they faded again.-

It was almost as if he noticed a slight tension when he mentioned kick boxing. Or perhaps it was the need to explain why he wanted to take it that was eating at the back of his mind causing him to think there was a tension in the air when he spoke of it.
"You see, the only reason I decided to sign up for kick boxing..." He gave a soft cough, "Was to learn to protect myself and perhaps others." He shook his head, looking across in the direction of the supposed organ trafficking ring. "Broken ribs tends to make one wonder, 'what if I'd known how to defend myself'. Granted I don't even know how I got them in the first place so it might be a silly venture after all..." He wrinkled his nose.
He paused, turducken? "Huh... sounds very interesting. I'd like to know how they get all that meat from the duck and chicken out." He chuckled, "I mean you have bones to contend with. Though I bet it would be tasty. Perhaps with potatoes and gravy, a bit messy, but always good with some type of bird. If you ask me. You might have a different preference."

"It sounds quite strange to me, but Mili is quite the coniesour of food, so I promised to try it once. I don't have alot of experience with poultry.. there aren't many birds in Alaska. But one should never pass up a learning experience."
-The spark of bubbliness and pleasure he'd found was fleeting however. And the power boy probably thought it was his fault... -
"Ohh.. are you hurt?" -She asked suddenly, instinctively, glancing down at his chest as her fingers moved his direction, stopping them as they hovered only an inch or so from him. When she realized what she was doing, her eyes adverted quickly, nodding feverishly to his words.- "With all the crazy things running around at night I suppose we all could use a little lesson in self defense." -Perhaps if she'd known some.. then maybe it would have never happened.... The tears were pricking the edge of her eyes voice letting out a cryptic whisper before she could stop it.- "Bad things happen in the night.."
