Quicksilver the Archangel

Beloved Seraph

Pasiphae had left the meeting with Princess Chronos and the other gathered Senshi, Knights, and civilians with the instruction to gather some of the larger mirrors to transport them to earth. She wished she had a bit more clarification than that, such as where she was meant to store them to keep them safe, but on the whole the Shame Senshi was glad to have a definite task to carry out that would help protect all those still in the Surrounding.

She paused iin front of the first large mirror she saw, staring up towads the top. Now, this was a problem. The mirror was a good three heads taller than she was, and while she could use her increased strength to carry it easily enough... how was she going to get it down without breaking it? She couldn't bear the thought of breaking one of the Princess's mirrors. She took a step back to assess the situation, biting her lip in contemplation.

Polaris hadn't actually gotten wind of the meeting that had lead to the decision on mirrors, too busy dropping by each of the outposts briefly to make sure that there hadn't been any other breeches by the mirror senshi. Making sure to mention very briefly to senshi at each place about the information she'd gotten from Sailor Sirius.

Task done she returned to the Chronos outpost and slowly began to make her way through, looking for both noone in particular and anyone she might come across.

With people off busy moving mirrors, the first Polaris happened across was familiar, pausing at the door to look at the senshi of Shame starring at the very large mirror.

"I wouldn't stand so close." She warned, her voice nonetheless pleasant. Happy, even, which was seen in the way she prattled on after a second.

"I would say 'What a surprise to see you here' but it certainly isn't." Really.. if she expected anyone else to heed the call it would be Pasiphae who shared with her that sense of responsibility and diligence. "How have you been Pasiphae?"

There was a definate smile on her face, those her eyes remained cautiously on the mirror, waiting for any sign of.. well.. whatever happened when someone suddenly popped out of one!

Pasiphae couldn't help but jump away from the mirror whenever the voice appeared, seemingly from nowhere. It wasn't like the girl to be so unobservant to her surroundings, but she had just been so caught up with trying to figure out how to move the mirror! She immediately relaxed, however, at the familiar sight of Polaris, and a genuine (though somewhat sheepish) smile crossed her face as she moved to greet the Eternal Senshi, "Polaris... I'm so glad to see you. Not... under these circumstances, of course, but in general."

The Shame Senshi expressed no surprise at seeing Polaris because, honestly, it did not surprise her. Polaris, was a dedicated Senshi that had not only introduced Pasiphae to several other Senshi but also called on her specifically to fight alongside her and trusted her with her identity. If anything, it would have been surprising for her NOT to be there! Her question, though, made the girl's smile fade. "I've been... better off than some. I haven't been here in the Surrounding long, so I don't know... how bad it has been here. I came when Ganymede called. But the Negaverse made a large attack in the city... it seems like we have a lot to fight, right now."

Pasiphae's greeting was met with a widening of her smile, a nod and silent agreement to the sentiment given. It was all very true. The situation was unideal.. and even if the occassion had offered Polaris a lot of new information and an opportunity to see people she hadn't seen in awhile... she'd have happily given up all she'd gained to simply have never had it happen. The poor civilians. And the zodiacs too, for having suddenly had their home invaded by scores of people. As tired and flustered with everything as she was, she could only imagine they felt that much worse.

"There was an attack on the city?" She asked curiously, a momentary frown touching her. It was smart that Niflhel had stayed behind in that case.. and she hoped he was doing well. She actually hadn't talked to him in more then a few days, and the sudden desire to check in was heavy.. but not so heavy as to draw her from the other senshi right away. "Hopefully we have enough allies down on earth still to try and keep the negaverse in check..."

Thinking for a moment, she suddenly remembered what she had been doing before and her warning. "Oh.. by the way. Have you heard about the senshi that can come through the mirrors yet?" Eyeing the mirror wearily, she cocked a finger towards it lightly. "Probably not the best idea to be hanging out too close to them. Unless.. you're here guarding it..?"

The Shame Senshi nodded when Polaris questioned her about the attack, twirling her thick hair between her fingers as she tried to suppress the more vivid memories of the event. People had died... people that she had sworn to protect, and there had been nothing she could do. Not for the man who lost his head. Not for the person who had been eaten by the frog youma. Barely even for the green-haired woman she had tried to protect, injured as the Senshi had been herself. She didn't even realize that her fingers and shoulders were slightly shaking from even these brief rememberances until her voice came out somewhat shaken as well, "A bunch of Negaverse officers attacked during a meeting... and they were dressed up as... cheap versions of us. They attacked the people... killed, hurt so many... and then there was a bomb and... and fire..."

Pasiphae stopped there for a moment, not certain that she could continue to speak any further without devolving into her emotion. Emotion wasn't what was needed right now... weakness, her own, typical, predictable weakness, wasn't going to help protect either the civilians or her allies. Now was a time to act, to pitch in with everyone else and try and hold off the forces of Chaos so that she would never have to witness slaughter like that again. So, she swallowed heavily and took a deep breath before answering Aurora's other question, "Not guarding it, per say... although that's one way of looking at it. Princess Chronos decided that we should remove the mirrors to try and keep the Dark Moon from entering the Surrounding. I was just... thinking of how I was going to move it without breaking it, since it's so big."
