No tricks, just treats Cake Walk!! -Tucked away at the far most corner of the gaming alley lays a booth that almost blends in with the nearby food stands. Utilitarian racks and cases don't do much to try to hide in the background, but the foreground does it's best to draw attention away from the blight.
Orange and black balloons and crepe paper spill from the booth and the large table in the back piled with goodies. Cakes and cupcakes ranging from fancy to simple, spooky to charming to down right silly, and all with vague fall and halloween themes line the table. Two trays of candied apples are also there decorated in a range of nuts, candies, and other toppings, caramel glimmering in the unnatural light filtering from above. The sweet scent wafts through the fall air along with the often campy music as if attempting the lure in players.
To the left of the money taking booth a large chalked circle makes out what looks like a faux clock on the ground. Six spaces that vaguely resemble jack o' lantern faces are spaced around the circle and numbered off from 1 to 6. Beside each face is a small pole with more balloons and paper.
A sign obviously written in crayon hangs from the booth letting passer bys know that tickets are $2 per game and treats are provided by 'the best' PTA and Crystal Academy volunteers. Three to six players can play at one time. A limited amount of gluten free and diabetic friendly choices are also available.
Between games the soft sound of what can only be described as a halloween soundtrack plays amid the calls from the booth caretaker. The caretakers are dressed much like stylized cafe workers. Male workers done a stylish shirt and slacks with apron ensemble while female workers wear cutesy dresses with frilly aprons.-

-The first day of the fair had finally arrived and the excitement that Aurora had been feeling since she'd gotten the mysterious invitation was in full force. After spending the past evening bustling around the kitchens with some of the other volunteers helping to whip up her own share of treats waiting around for players almost seemed too boring.
She checked the treats on the table once more, counting out the amount in a quick tally. She peeked in on the goods that were in the back rack to replace those that would certainly start to disapear. She adjusted crepe paper. She fiddled with the CD player mildly, restacking the three themed CD's once again before she finally settled into the chair behind the booth.
Tugging gently on the skirt that she deemed far too short, crossing her legs primly, Aurora called out lightly to those who walked past.- "Come to the Cake Walk. Tons of delicious sweet treats ready to be won! All the proceeds go to restoring our beautiful city"
((This is now open for anyone who would like to play!))

Azzo was obviously one of the first people to show up at such a thing. He seemed to be drawn to 'good' sweets. His grandmother in toe. He paused when he saw Aurora. "OH! Come on Grams. I know these'll be good."
Fiona watched her grandson eagerly make his way to the sweets shaking her head with a sigh. She should've known the boy was coming for food of all things. "Don't you want to do the Haunted house or something?" She asked as she followed.
"But GRANDMAAAAAAA~" Azzo whined pitifully. Something a 19 year old boy shouldn't really do. "Seriously though, you remember Aurora." He pointed the girl out and looked at Grams. "You could get a taste of her cooking if I win." He grinned as he pulled out two bucks when he approached Aurora. "I'd like to play."
Grams shook her head and moved to the side to watch. She was having no part in this.
((A PM when you get enough people for a would be nice. ~-^ Just so I know. <3 ))

"Ohhh hello Azzo!" -She waved briefly as him and his grandmother drew forward, laughing just a little as he had his conversation with his grandmother. It was so very Azzo.
She accepted the money offered to her and placed it gently into the money box below the counter.-
"I'm afraid we have to wait for a few more players to join, sorry about the inconvience."
"Are you two enjoying the carnival so far?"

Ariel just arrived at the carnival. Her costume was ready only earlier so now she was taking a look around. She was attracted by this shop by the smell. She was not really a cake fan but apple are an other story. So she went at the register to buy a ticket to participate.

"Thank you" -She smiled politely to the girl who entered the line next, taking her money before placing it in the box.
Once the two were settled in line she called out to the people passing by and playing other games.- "Only one more player needed to start the next game!"

It was only a matter of time before Vivi sniffed out the cakewalk, and sniffed it out she had. There was no mistaking the numbers on the ground, the faint smell of cake in all it's forms, and the sign. It was darling. Giggling like a mad-woman Genevieve answered the call of pastry duty.
"I'll play! I'm here! Ohhhh my goodness these all look so yummy, I want to take them all home and never share ever!" Laughing gleefully, she smoothed down the front of her costume's skirt and suddenly became very business like. "I wouldn't take them all of course, and how many of us are there anyway?" She took a head-count and nodded. "Three. This will be fun."

-The enthusiastic girl recieved an wide smile and a good hearted laugh from Aurora.- "There will be freshly baked sweets for each day of the carnival so feel free to drop by as often as you'd like."
-Lifting the little rope she allowed the three to enter, explaining the rules simply as she waited for them to find a number they wanted to begin from.- "The game is very simple, choose a number to start from and wait for the music to start. Keep walking around until it stops and when it does stop on whatever number your on or by."
-When they'd all seemed to find a spot Aurora hit the button on the CD player, calling out over the familar tune of 'This is halloween'.- "Best of luck everybody!"
((Everybody roll your 100 sided dice biggrin You can post a reply of your character walking around or just roll.
If you want to state what number they stop on that's fine. It doesn't matter really anyway since I'm going by dice. XD
Others are free to join still, just post joining the line for the next round.))

Azzo chuckled, "Hi Aurora!" He said slightly belated as he was too busying watching the cakes and things.
Grams nodded however, "Yes we are." She said with a smile. "He's just been running around to the food booths." She tutted.
When the music started Azzo hoped over to number 14 and waited for the music to start before he started moving along with the others.

Genevieve was excited! Ecstatic even! So much so that she practically bounded to the number five and started tapping her feet in anticipation. As the music started it was all she could do to -not- move faster than the other two playing with her.

-Aurora watched the three go around the circle of numbers for a little while, letting them rotate five or six revolutions before her finger hit the button, watching them all hurry to the closest number.-
"Alright, let's see!" -Her fingers dipped into a bowl of folded numbers pulling out one of them with a flourish. She looked at it real quick before turning it out to the group.- "The winner is spot number 1, Azzo!"
-Clapping a little she motioned for him to go back towards the table to make his choice while making a space for the girls to exit the game.- "Congratulations, choose a prize and then I'll give you your hole punch."
-Turning her back to Azzo, she offered a soft curtsy befitting of her maidly costume to the exiting girls and anyone else walking by the booth. - "I hope everyone had fun and will try again sometime. Thanks for being our first players!"

((very belated))
Azzo blinked, how weird that he'd actually won. Then again it was food, he walked over to the table to pick out a cake and offered it to grams.
He was grinning like a opossum. "Heh, I guess food is my lucky thing after all." He said with a wink. "Thank you Aurora." He said with a smile, before him and grams departed as well. Azzo with one more hole punch than he started with.
