((This is a meeting for Sailor Europa's team, The Basterds. There is no posting order - if you have anything you wish to contribute then you can jump in at any time. You can assume that, if you are a member of the Basterds, you are present at this meeting.)) She couldn't exactly take the board out of her room, and so Tallulah had called for civilian forms in her bedroom, two PM sharp on Saturday under the guise of a school project. The only thing this had proven was that if you promised a bunch of teenagers free food, they would show up for anything. Jaimie had arrived first, followed by Aurora. They sat in chairs borrowed from the dining room, and, once Elzo joined them and decided her bed was a prime sitting location, Tallulah had assembled what she considered to be her squad leaders. They had been present at the meeting with Luna and would probably be the most useful to her. A few minutes later, they were joined by Belle - Bellatrix - who Tallulah expected to still be a bit rattled over the encounter with Tisiphone. Whether this was in fact the case had yet to be seen - the only thing keeping Tallulah from elevating Belle to the same level in her mind as Aurora, Jaimie, or Elzo was that she simply wasn't as familiar with her. With the arrival of Rosa, Lily, and and Selena, their group was complete. She recognized two of them from Meadowview, but surprise was neither here nor there. She tossed them a pack of cookies (if someone would find an organic substitute for Oreos, it would be Tallulah Cowden) and swung her closet door open, exposing a row of nearly hung shirts and school uniforms, and what she had affectionately dubbed her "board of crazy." "Just to break the ice," she said, "Does anyone remember any of the names Luna wrote on the board at the meeting?"

"No, but I do know one thing." Castor, nay, Elzo was loafing about on Tallulah's bed. When he first arrived he said he's sit there so after the meeting he could get a head start on 'the after party'. Cue wink and grin. "Kunzite was originally a dude." Pillows were chucked at Regulus, that was, Jaimie. Elzo knew Jaimie from school, (sort of). So, throwing a pillow or two at him seemed like the right thing to do. Especially after seeing how him and Tallulah acted.
"By the way, you a** is still cute as hell out of those shorts." He was ginning. Again.
"Also, I hope you won't be missing a pair of panties. I'm down in the running back at Hillworth. Eh Jaimie?" Elzo, tormentor. This team was going to be fun.

Well, it hadn't been what she'd asked for, but Tallulah wrote it down and stuck it on the board. 'Cavalier Kunzite originally male' went up, overlapping the 'Cavaliers?' note.
His grin was met with a stony look from Tallulah. The only thing that would have made the moment better would be her utterance of 'we are not amused.' Instead of saying anything, though, she tucked her hair behind her ear and tapped her sharpie against her notepad. "Anyone?" she asked, eyes scanning from Bellatrix to Aurora to Regulus. Surely someone must have been paying attention in that meeting-
If Elzo actually tried to steal her underwear, he would be disappointed to find that it was of the sensible, cotton variety, bought in a four-pack on the clearance table at New Navy. However, Jaimie was seated between him and the dresser, and it didn't look like he'd be letting anyone through.
She looked sympathetically to the three girls seated on the floor. "You weren't there for this, you're excused," she said. "The other four of you, though..."

-Aurora had arrived promptly and dutifully, looking perhaps as out of place as she felt. For while others might have dressed down a bit for a gathering of 'friends', her outfit for the day was every bit as fancy as the Crystal uniform she'd decided against. Stuffy, frilly, like she expected to give a presentation. She was just as nervous as if she actually were.
Excited.. nervous.. awkward. She shuffled into the room, taking a seat before she let herself try to take in her surroundings. Tallulah's room. An average enough looking group of kids.. kids that were really warriors of justice. She'd nearly fallen over in fact when Elzo had arrived, recalling quite well one of her first memorable experiences after moving to the academy.
Her lips puckered in soft distaste as Elzo teased. Brows arching quizically as pillows flew and bagged cookies were munched. She'd never really had friends.. not like this. Not ones you hung out with and threw pillows at. How pathetic was that? This situation was completely foreign. Strangely enough.. not entirely unpleasant though.
She was relieved from her helpless, and perhaps a little disturbing stare when Tallulah spoke, perking up. Ahh this she could do. Business she could do!-
"Usagi Tsukino" "Sidra Winters" -She knew this one from Charys.. from Astraea.- "Barren Pines" -She was there for this one.. when the place blew.
She paused after rattling off the first few, trying to recall something else from the long list. She'd forgotten most, it didn't help that most had been in a language she didn't know.-
"And the people of earth of course.." -She offered softly finally, when she'd given up on trying.-

Bell sat quietly in her seat - a mix of shyness and her nerves from the Tisiphone encounter. She hadn't gone out since then...except to come here. She'd had felt her mortality and now knew how very likely it was that...she could be killed. One of them could be killed. They weren't invincible...but then again, neither was the enemy, right?
"Ami Mizuno and Rei something..I think" She finally said, fingers worrying at a wrinkle in her skirt, and nibbling lightly on her bottom lip. She tried to remember others but really, she had been so emotional that she wasn't entirely sure she could remember anything right. It was that meeting that had finally given her a reason to live up to her senshi title. The meeting had motivated her emotionally, and gave her the information she lacked before. Now all that was torn apart. She was right back where she started...

Thank god for Belle and Aurora.
Now that they mentioned them, the names sounded familiar. Tallulah could have slapped herself for forgetting them. She leaned over, balanced the notepad on her knee, and scribbled the names down. Usagi Tsukino, Ami Mizuno, Rei...? "This is good, we're getting somewhere," she said encouragingly.
"Sidra Winters went to Meadowview," she added after a moment. They'd been hearing about it for months - their cheerful, brunette classmate: missing, presumed dead; of course the hope was that she'd turn up in another state with an older boyfriend and no worse for the wear, but if she'd been on the board...
Tallulah stopped writing for a moment, looked up, and went, "Really? Huh."
Right back to writing. "I can plug these into the newspaper archives," she said absentmindedly as she straightened up and pinned the paper to the board. "I've been crawling the old papers from Japan - got it narrowed down to Azabu-Juuban, Tokyo in the late 1980s - speaking of which--
She drummed her fingers thoughtfully on the doorknob. "Do any of you read Japanese?"

Lily frowned from her place on the floor. She sighed leaning back against the bed. She really had no idea what was going on and it did not make it any better that she was excused from adding to the conversation for this winter.
Names, it seemed, they were giving names, only one of which she recognized and it was simply because of the news. The girl had gone to her school afterall. Lily tried to wrap her thoughts around the conversation.
'Huh,' she thought looking up at Tallulah, 'Japanese?'
Lily shook her head at the girl, no she most certainly did not speak Japanese, but that did not mean she did not have a suggestion.
"Have you tried Babelfish? It do not think it will give you a completely accurate translation, but it would give you the gist. My sister likes foreign movies, she uses Babelfish over abundantly."
Lily gave a small giggle at her sister singing the translators praise.

Living such a leisurely life, Pasha really wasn't too big on the "sharp" concept. He had no intention of being disrespectful, but there were bead containers to be sorted, and kittens to be petted, and candy to be eaten, and popsicles to be made, and three and a half hours had gone by and he was maybe a little late.
School supplies bundled in his arms (he had to make his excuse to his mother believable, after all), he cautiously entered Tallulah's room, eyes wide. So many people! So many people that he didn't know! This was doubly exciting.
"Sorry, sorry for interrupting, Tallulah," he stage-whispered to his friend, moving to sit Indian-style on the floor. Hopefully it was unobtrusive enough.

Pasha was lucky he was Pasha, because anyone else probably wouldn't have gotten away with showing up late. She simply greeted him with, "Pasha! Glad you could make it! We're trying to remember the names Luna wrote on the board at the cell phone meeting," and continued scribbling in her notepad while she waited for people to remember things.
"I've run it through Google translate and it winds up mostly incoherent," she answered Liliana. "Babblefish is like the same exact thing, right?"
"So we're going to keep working on that," she said matter-of-factly. "Anyone got anything else they want to add before we move on?"

-Ahhh. It was good to be helpful. And she nodded encouragingly as Belle added a few more to the conversation.
When Pasha entered, she glanced up curiously, taken aback once again when the vaguely familiar face was recognized. What an incredibly small world!! She lifted her fingers to wave a little softly. He probably didn't remember her, they'd met only briefly over a bakesale table. But his adorableness and brightly chaotic fashion sense were hard to forget.
Returning to the topic at hand, she scratched her cheek thoughtfully, quiet while the other discussed.- "No, no Japanese"
"But..." "Maybe.." -Her eyes turned upward as she thought, tone raises as she seemed to convince herself it was a good enough idea.- "Maybe we can find a student at Crystal.. or more likely the university or prep school that does."
"We could say that we're doing research of some sort. It might take a few dollars to persuade them.. but yeah. It might work."

Rose was feeling slightly lost and confused; she seemed to be feeling that way with an unfortunate frequency as of late. She wasn’t sure who Luna was, and didn’t know much about most of the other people around her, aside from the fact that they were all Senshi. Liliana was the most familiar, so Rose had sat by her, listening to the strange names being thrown out. Finally her curiosity got the better of her and she couldn’t keep quiet any longer.
“ Um, I’ve got some newb questions. What’s the significance of those names?” She paused, shifting through the multitude of other questions running through her head, before deciding to also ask,“ And who’s Luna?”
Her prior encounter with Tallulah/Europa had been enlightening, but she found that it had only left her with more questions then before.

Selena was feeling very lost - she didn't really know anyone here, bar Aurora. A few faces looked familiar, such as Lily's, Tallulah's, since they were from her school, but otherwise she felt a little out of place. And more than a little stupid when others started offering ideas left right and centre, whilst she was still left wondering about what was already on the board.
"Is Astraea another cat?" she asked, just wanting to make herself sure, cheeks turning a very pale pink in embarrassment.

Tallulah had gotten caught up in the moment and forgotten that three of those in attendance were totally new to this. It was an easy mistake to make, and one that was almost typical of her. At least they were paying attention. "Astraea and Luna are the same person - cat, rather," she explained. "She served Sailor Moon in Japan in the 1980s, and a while back she called us all in for a meeting."
"The names are-- Well, they're people who've died at the hands of the Negaverse. Astraea-Luna and Cavalier Kunzite wrote out a whole list of them at the meeting."
Please tell her she didn't have to explain what the Negaverse was. If she did, then maybe henshin pens ought to come with instruction manuals. And NOT the cats - guardian cats, by and large, only told you the absolute basics of what you needed to know. Sparknotes, when you needed the unabridged edition.
"That's a good idea, Aurora," she said, nodding to her friend. Aurora got a gold star for today. "But the material we need translated might arouse suspicion."
Tallulah Cowden, police procedural fangirl. Special Agent Gibbs could take her in for questioning any day he liked. She bit her lip, thinking of a way around this hang-up. Of course! It was obvious.
"We could ask any Senshi we meet," she said. "Someone's got to read it."
(She suspected she might be able to find someone in the Anime Society, but there was no way she was asking Tate for help. It could snow in hell first.)
"Does that answer things?" she asked. It had better, because she was moving on. "Which cats did everyone's awakenings?"

-She nodded in agreement as questions were answered, waiting for her to take a breath before she tossed in a little more towards the newer scouts. It was probably uneccesary.. but knowledge was power right?-
"Astraea is kind of Luna reborn. Apparently certain souls get reborn into other people. So she can appear as either or. I do believe I heard the zodiacs were reborn. And the princess and prince we're looking for, they're reborn versions too."
"Which makes it a little tough because.. well they could be just about anyone at all"
-Letting Tallulah carry on, she spotted the bag of cookies travelling nearby, snagging two out curiously before she passed it on it's way. One was popped swiftly into her mouth, soon to be followed by the other.-
"Astraea was the one who wode me up. But it was the kitten.. Derpiline I believe? She was the one that powered me up" -Her smile widened with pride. How many of the others were powered up hmmm? She was a good little solider of justice.-

Despite being a (relatively) experienced Senshi who had almost permanent companionship of a guardian cat, Pasha felt as clueless as the newer Senshi. He knew about the meeting, about the deceased that had fallen at the hand of the Negaverse, and plenty about the cats - or at least his particularly grumpy one, and the fact that Astraea-Luna had called his cell phone stickering "faggy", which didn't keep him from doing it anyway.
But there was an air of experience that he felt he couldn't match, especially when Aurora mentioned being "powered up". Pasha was barely able to handle battling anything by himself, and his attack still wasn't completely under his control. Usually he just hoped the fireflies did what they were supposed to, and they'd done their job well enough so far. Barring that, he had to rely on Sailor Europa for encouragement and direction. It was becoming more and more obvious that being a Senshi required more hands-on learning than anything else. With a cheerful wave in return to Aurora's, he gathered up the confidence to speak. They were all friends here anyway, right?
"Well, um, Abel is my kittycat, and he did my awakening stuff. But I haven't been powered up or anything..." he said, trailing off, glancing around the room to see if anyone appeared to be identifying with him on this. "I think there were maybe like four or five of the kittycats at the meeting? If we're looking for helpful things, should we write all of their names down too?"
