-One moment a gargantuan fire covered beast of a creature was flinging her through the air with a hard, though thankfully clawless, smack to the midsection. The next she was in bed, drenched in sweat, tangled and bound in her sheets, breath harsh and frantic. Feet kicked lazily, hands trying to pull herself free of the tangle. Her hair was caked to her and she felt so disgusting. There would be no more sleeping for her, despite how tired her body really felt. Not until her sheets and bedding were cleaned.
The sun had barely touched the sky, only the tinest hints of pink as Aurora flipped on her bathroom light, gazing in the mirror, only to stop and gape at the glaring gash at her right eyebrow. Blood had poured and already caked dry, her eyes immediately began to search her body, ripping off her nightgown. Scraps covered her stomach and arms, her left arm had a small speckling of blisters already beginning to grow.
Never had Aurora, lover of baths and cleanliness, entered and exited a shower so quickly in her life. She did not repeat after her rinse, nor was their even time for the mirror to fog over due to heat. Once the sweat and blood was scrubbed from her body she was out and clammering through her room for the easiest outfit she could find. Her school uniform was handy and was pulled on without thought of accessory. Her hair, usually immaculate and labored over for ages was all bound back into one lazy and quick thick wet braid before she bolted out of the room.
She'd made a promise that she wouldn't forget, and after seeing her own state... she was frightened that Azzo might wake up before she got to him. She was frightened he'd been wrong, and that he wouldn't be alright...
The sun was still a semi circle on the horizon when she arrived outside the familar house, most of the people of the world (not tormented awake by their dreams) still tucked away in bed. It was scandalous to anyone who might have been awake to see it. A crystal girl, throwing pebbles at the window of a boy's room in the wee hours of the morning.-

Azzo had woken alright, and he had currently found his arm broke and was trying not to scream in pain when he first rolled over on it. His hands too were burnt, and feet, though not as bad.
He gingerly pushed open the window with his good arm and peeked out almost glaring until he saw who it was. "Oh thank god. I need your help." Azzo's hair looked like a mess actually he didn't actually look all that great. "Get up here, and use the back door it's unlocked. Gram's is still asleep so be quite about it."
Had he been anticipating that Aurora was coming? He frowned, going to sit back on his bed, somehow he'd gotten on a pair of jeans but that was about as far as he had gotten because he was struggling with his shirt, using his teeth to pull up the side on the good arm. When she got there she'd find her was a mess, however he didn't really have time for a proper shower or anything. His arm hurt like hell and they had to go get it fixed before Grams woke up.
Of course Merlin was sitting there staring at Azzo, the pup now being full grown was licking at Azzo's broken arm with Azzo trying hard not to cuss and pushing the animal away with a foot. "Merlin stop that, it hurts" He hissed.

-One.. two.. three... She was fidgeting as she waited, biting her bottom lip lightly. When the window finally slide open there was a mixture of relief and worry. Help That didn't bode well...
She slide through the backdoor as quietly as she could manage, going so far as to give the door a thankful pat as it remained silent, because she was terrified it might decide to give some mighty silence shattering squeak.
Tiptoeing up the stairs, her fingers slowly pushed on his door, hoping again for it's cooperation in their silence. Azzo was a mess when finally she saw him, trying to wrangle on a shirt and push the ever helpful Merlin away. She wrapped her hands lightly around Merlin's neck and chest, attempting to pull him back as she inspected Azzo in the dim light. Why was she feeling relieved? His arm was clearly in very bad shape.. But somewhere inside she recalled the supernatural shape it had been even as the memory of the dream slowly tried to slip out of her mind.
Soft drips of water were collecting from her still damp hair onto his floor as she waited for her heart to slow, and for logic to take over.- "What are we going to do? Where do we go?"
-Maybe the hospital weren't asking for a explaintions anymore.. considering how many strange injuries they recieved day after day.-

Azzo was glad to finally have someone pull Merlin away, he sighed as he decided it prolly would've been more helpful to have put the shirt on the injured arm first and sighed as he slipped it off and tried a different approach. "Help me get this on."
He motioned to the button up shirt, "Please," He added after a second. "I can't figure it out without hurting my arm worse." He wasn't any good at this, not having to deal with an arm being broke, as his ribs had been bad enough.
"Hospital." His second answer was short and brief. "If we have to we'll ruff up my shirt and claim we were jumped." He was looking at Aurora's face, "I don't think they'll argue."
There was a pair of fingerless gloves beside him. Which he was planing to wear to hide the fact his hands were burnt too. "This is really gunna put a damper on that puppet show." He said with a frown.

"Oh.. o.. okay..." -For all the boldness.. or lack of shame Aurora had seemed to have in their shared dream, it seemed it had all come rushing back. Fully settling on the idea that 'yes.. here was a man.. shirtless.. in his bedroom' brought forth a flourish of color to her tanned cheeks. A rosy pink that grew all the darker the closer she got, attempting to hold the sleeve open as much as she could so the fabric would touch as little of his hurt arm as possible as he tried to push it through.
When finally the deed was done she stepped back, almost with a sigh of relief. Hospital, definatley time for the hospital. She hadn't thought to bring her purse.. but that would make it all the easier to claim it had been a mugging, those bad monsters had taken it. The hospital was sure to still have her information on file from her extended stay there.
As she ushered him quietly towards the door, her voice fell to a whisper.. half out of necessity and half out of the simple low shushhh that she often took up when she was attempting to comfort someone.- "Don't worry about that right now.. Once we've got you taken care of then... then we can think of something."

Azzo helped Aurora the best he could, however that was pretty clumsy if nothing but for the fact he only had one arm that worked properly. He sighed and then muttered, "If nothing else this whole thing teaches me to go to bed dressed."
Merlin was following them. Azzo glanced at the dog. "Sit. Stay." Azzo said before they started down the stairs. In which Merlin actually listened this time. "You have to protect grams." Azzo added before descending to the living room.
He paused, "Yeah.... It just kinda sucks." He muttered with a sigh as he moved through the kitchen and paused looking for paper. "Gunna leave Grams a note." He added as he found some pink paper used to keep grocery lists. Gone out for a jog, I'll be back later. He scribbled before ushering Aurora out the door.
"Hopefully things are calm right now. I don't feel like having to put up with some weird monster." Azzo seemed rather depressed over the whole situation and the fact he'd been working hard to get it so he could hold auditions for voice actors, now the whole thing seemed to wash down the drain.

"I'll protect you" -She joked pathetically, because that's how her jokes often were, as he sighed. It was true really.. she would, but the words hardly seemed to break the tension of the moment. Why was it that Azzo was always dragged into this kind of stuff? How could he.. even without powers seem to always come out with even more injuries then her.
Her hand wrapped subconciously around his good arm, beginning to pull him at a quicker pace towards the hospital. Why didn't either of them have a car?-

Azzo chuckled, "Good to know, At least you can fling metal at them." He shook his head softly as they walked, he didn't mind walking, it was good for the body.
They could've called a cab or taken the bus but Azzo wasn't interested in such. He looked at her curiously as she tugged him along towards the hospital. "Careful Aurora," He chided, "You keep going that quickly and one of us is bound to trip."
He was happy with a steady pace. It's not like they were running a marathon, yes his arm did hurt and it was throbbing but the way things were going if someone tripped, to him in a way that meant his arm getting hurt worse, specially if it was Aurora and he tried to catch her...

-Azzo was better at it then her, even with what she could only guess was horrible pain. It was enough to make her smile a little, as comforted by him as she'd meant of have been to him.- "It's pretty useful, I won't lie. I'd hate to have some of the other powers I've seen.."
-She immediately slowed down as he chided, realizing that he was probably right. Hurting either of them more wasn't the answer. Falling into a more safe pace, she gazed at his arm silently for a long while. When she finally spoke the question was fairly pathetic..- "Does it hurt a lot?"
-As soon as she said it, she nearly rolled her own eyes. Of course it did.. it had to. But she was just so tired... and stressed... and worried. It was the best she could come up with.-

Azzo nodded as she said it, "I'm sure it is." He said with a pause, "I've seen some interesting ones myself." It wasn't a lie either ,"Getting thrown through a mirror is pretty weird."
She slowed down and he sighed softly, swaying slightly for a second, "Well.... It did when I woke up, but it's kinda a throbbing feel now." He sighed, "Either I'm getting use to it or something..."
He wasn't sure how to explain it however he shrugged. "Lot better than my ribs hurting like hell." He muttered.

"Through a mirror?" -The first word was emphasized along with her awe. That was pretty cool. Maybe not great for fighting unless you were in a bathroom or dressing room, but very cool nonetheless.
She silently thanked him with her eyes for not making a fuss about her stupid question.- "Probably adreneline kicking in. The body tries to protect itself the best it can"
"Hopefully we'll have painkillers in you by the time it wears off" -As if to gauge how long that would be, she glanced carefully around her. She couldn't see the large building yet that made up the Destiny City hospital, but they were drawing quickly closer. And luckily for them, it was early enough that they didn't pass very many people in their trip.-

Azzo was trying to be as inconspicuous about his arm as he could be. He paused as someone walked by before continuing, "Yes, the Queen of the Parallels threw me through a mirror to get me away from two negaversers. She got pretty beat up..." He left out where they ended up.
He paused looking at her curiously, "Huh, probably." Maybe he should've payed attention in health classes. "It probably remembers my ribs having been broken and is just doing this to tease me till we get to the hospital." He frowned at the thought, with his luck it probably would do that.

-The Parallel queen, leader of the senshi in black. Well.. the lacy black senshi.. not the corrupted black ones. Azzo had met her himself? There was obvious awe in her eyes. Maybe it would be worth it to bring Europa's attention to letting Azzo be an honorary member of the Bastards? Fuku or not he'd certainly earned it in blood.
His words drew her attention back to the process at hand, and she couldn't help but laugh a little, as inappropriate as it was. Her finger waggled just a little, voice taking up that familar nag.- "Didn't you listen during health class?"
"If your body is in trouble it'll produce adreniline to help give it enough boost to try and get yourself to a safer place. It's kind of like... how people hurt very very badly will go into comas. The sleep allows them to heal in a way they couldn't while awake" -Perhaps she'd learned some of that after her own coma... not JUST in health class.
The sound of an ambulance siren wailing gave hint to how close they were getting to their destination. And perhaps.. of others that might have just awoken from the same firey place they had been.-

Azzo blinked as Aurora looked at him, he'd glanced at her when she hadn't said anything to see what she was thinking, "Uh.... you okay there?" He asked looking slightly confused and unsure why she had the awe filled look... He was obviously missing the point that meeting a Queen was important.
He blinked when she laughed, "Har, har, har" He echoed and shook his head, "No, it's about like Science, When am I going to use that. I paid enough attention to get passing grades obviously. However, it's not like I was aware at the time that this place would be filled with who knows what." He sighed, "Also, they never mentioned dreams could end you up with a broken arm."
This was a point he made, "Considering that, I think it's pretty well safe to say this might not have applied to the rules of the body." He shrugged, "Besides the psychic is a little less nerves and chemical reactions as it is conditions...." He paused, "er... well.... conditions and natural thought processes... Which I've still yet to master as well."

-He was looking at her like she'd grown a second head, and she flushed the moment she noticed. Perhaps she'd started it, and that's why an embarrased giggle escaped her, hand waving away the idea.- "I'm sorry. I just never got to meet the queen before she died. To be saved by her and get to meet her up close.. that's kind of a senshi big deal you know?"
-She couldn't help but smile a little as he spoke about school, realizing that perhaps he was right. For as much importance as she'd put in grades before... a lot of it didn't apply in times like these. In literal war zones who cared who knew high level calculas?
Aurora looked equally impressed as he switched places with her, speaking about nerves and chemicals in a way she could barely grasp.- "I will give you that" -She relented, smiling mildly even as a stressed sigh escaped her. Maybe it was the lack of restful sleep.. or the stress and worry of his injury.. maybe she'd just really gone nuts finally. Today was already far too long, and it wasn't even 8am.-
