((This RP is to be considered to take place on Saturday, April the 23rd. I am back logging a bit because I didn't have time to start it then. **edit** for those in Operation Pip-squeak, please assume this is after it. >-> /doing weird timeline things. If you know Istas, your character has a younger sibling that goes to Knightside or babysits for someone that goes to Knightside you're free to come to the party.)) Istas Lulu Holywell was turning 10 on Wednesday. She was dressed in an outfit that made her look very much like a bee. She had a teddy bear backpack with her as she giggled twirling around.Her parents were dressed in their Easter best, Chilaili was wearing rabbit ears. Since she liked to amuse her daughter, she had to convince Lorenzo to wear something, he sighed and finally wore a pair of wolf ears. "Was it necessary for us to dress up too?" He asked looking at Chi She giggled as she was setting the party up in the guests area. "Of course dear, you know how she loves us to take part too." It was an animal themed party. Granted it wasn't required the guests dress up, it was just asked that they did. Chi wondered how well the party would go over. Istas paused, "When can we see the animals?" She asked with a smile. As she giggled looking at the box which she assumed was the cake, It looked large. She paused, "Daddy why'd you wear a suit and tie?" She giggled, he looked like he was going to work, not a party.

Weeks had past since Istas had given Ainsley her invitation to her birthday party, giving Ainsley plenty of time to find the perfect outfit for the occasion. She had thought about a bunny originally, but the party was at the zoo, and that called for something much more special. She would dress up like her dear Big Kitty, as a leopard. It was a good idea, or at least she thought so, but the trouble had been finding the perfect dress. She didn't want to wear one of those leopard costumes and she couldn't wear a leopard dress directed more towards her sister. It had taken awhile, but the child was finally able to find a dress (similiar to this) in a ruffle shape on a leopard pattern and light lace with a faux fur wrap attachment. The dress had a long leopard tail built into it, cute little leopard ears attached to her head via a headband and black ribbons holding her usual braids. Of course, no outfit would be complete without the shoes! Her feet were adorned with light thigh high stockings with a lace at the top and black Mary Janes with a small, flat heel and leopard paw buckles.
"Roar," she squeaked happily as she came trotting down the path towards Istas causing the tail on her dress to sway back and forth with each step and Octavian Oswald hanging in one arm. As tradition, Ainsley was holding a gift bag in the other especially for the birthday girl. Inside the bag there was a teddy bear brown hoodie with bear ears on the hood, a Disney Princess colouring book, and a Goldilocks and the Three Bears storybook. Ainsley remembered seeing Istas' bear backpack on several occasions so she hoped she'd like the bear items sitting in the bag.
"I'm a leopard," she announced, holding out the gift bag to Istas. " You are a cute bee! Happy birthday!"

Istas turned from her parents the big box that she assumed was her cake, to Ainsley. She smiled when the other arrived, "Hooray! You made it!" She giggled as she bounced over to Ainsley taking the offered gift.
"I can see that," Istas replied with a giggle before moving over to the gift table setting Ainsley's gift on it. "I'll have to open this with the rest! Thank you." She smiled, curls bouncing as she moved. There weren't many presents on the table but that was okay. There weren't many other guests here yet either, Ainsley was the first of what Istas hoped to be many.
"We'll go see the animals soon!" She added with a nod.
Chilaili and Lorenzo smiled at Ainsley welcoming her to the party, "Were you accompanied by anyone?" Chi asked looking around to see if Ainsley had an adult counter part. She knew they let Istas do things by herself, but a birthday party at the Zoo wasn't quite something you leave kids unattended with in her opinion.

The Colts never missed an opportunity to force their son to socialize, even when he didn’t know the kid ever well. Sam had only really seen Istas once or twice after the incident at school when he first met her. The dark-haired boy didn’t enjoy consorting with lower-grades, he must preferred trying to hang-out with the upperclassmen. That didn’t always go over so well. There were always exceptions though. Sam enjoyed walking to school with Ainsley, and after what happened with Billy on the playground Sam felt compelled to check up on the wimpy Istas every so often, if only from a distance. When Istas caught Sam at recess to give him an invitation to her birthday, the boy was lost for words. At the time he simply shrugged it off and told her that he doubted he’d come to her party. Nothing more or less than that, just that he doubted it. It wasn’t meant to be however, when Delia Colt found the invite in Sam’s black backpack that sealed the deal. His mother was just over the moon that a little girl invited her son to her party; she thought it was cute. On the day of Istas Holywell’s party, Sam’s mother dropped him off at the front gate. Neither of his parents could make it, as they both had other commitments. That didn’t stop Delia from making a costume and forcing her precious Sam to wear it. Sam was ushered to the reception area, as he came around the corner the boy was barely recognizable as a boy. A dull red-brown and black costume was covering his entire body like footy pajamas. He was dressed up like a crocodile, with a large tail dragging on the floor behind him; sunglasses covered his eyes, as Sam was so embarrassed he didn’t want to be recognized. If anyone asked, he was going to say he was the pokemon Krookadile.

Ainsley was pleased to see Istas so happy, compared to the usual setting at school where she was frequently bullied by Billy and tried to keep lowkey. Most of all, although Istas hadn't opened it yet, she seemed happy about the gift Ainsley had brought for her! Of course, today was such a good day, it didn't end at that. Istas said she'd go see the animals soon and the child smiled.
"I can't wait to see the animals," she announced, her hands making a ball as they clasped together.
Ainsley heard a question, and it seemed directed at her. Although Ainsley constantly wandered off, as soon as Delia Colt heard Ainsley had an invitation as well, she assumed the responsibility of making sure Ainsley got there as well. What better way to make sure Sam and Ainsley were getting along? Ainsley had been a little too excited to get to the zoo though and upon arriving with Sam, she had bound away faster than a cheetah.
"I came with Sam and his mother," she replied, looking around as she soon realized she'd run off without him. It had been hard not to though, after all, it was the zoo and Bell had never taken her before. Sam must be around here somewhere though, and quickly Ainsley looked around her for that cute crocodile that Delia Colt had been so enthusiastic about dressing her son up into and then telling Ainsley all about it when she inquired. And she did.
"Sam should be around here," she said specifically to Istas. "We should go find him!"

Istas happened to be facing the entrance to the party area when she saw a crocodile? Or was it an Alligator? She giggled at Ainsley as the girl said she couldn't wait to see the animals. "Who's the gator?" She asked assuming that was probably the better pick of the two.
Peering around Ainsley as she watched him canter in. He didn't seem to thrilled about the whole thing, whoever it was. Istas frowned for a second before trotting over, "And Sam? Great so he did come!" She grinned as she approached the boy in the croc/gator suit.
"Hello! Welcome to my Birthday party!" She said cheerfully hands behind her back wiggling a little in excitement to waiting to see who it was.

Sam trodded over to the girls, his head hung low in shame. Why oh why did he have to wear this silly suit. Why couldn’t his costume have been like Ainsley’s? Sam had admired the simplicity of Ainsley’s leopard outfit in the car. It was obvious what she was, but not over the top and obviously comfortable. Sam felt like a mascot in his outfit, it was very warm as it was layered over regular t-shirt and a pair of shorts. The temptation to strip down and free himself from the animals suit was strong. When Istas approached him, he gazed down at her. Even though he was wearing a silly suit, his height made the age difference a bit noticeable. Sam slipped down his sunglasses, peering down at Istas with a glimpse of his sugary-brown eyes. “Hi. Happy Birthday.” Sam extended an arm out like a robot, holding out a bright pink gift bag like it was a bomb. When Delia asked Sam what kind of present Istas would like, Sam could only shrug and say he didn’t know. Honestly, the boy didn’t know the cornflower-blue haired girl very well at all. Inside the gift bag was the easy to solution to that kind of problem, craft kits. Little girls liked craft kits, didn’t they? There were two craft boxes inside the bag, one was for friendship bracelets and another was an appropriately themed paper bag animal puppet kit. “Here,” Sam gently shook the bag at Istas, offering it to her.

When Ridley had gotten the invitation, she had been frankly a little surprised. Given their last encounter, it didn't seem that the two of them had gotten off on a really good start. Had they ever really? Given that they had been in a few home rooms together, Ridley had no idea if Istas and herself really engaged with one another that often. But that didn't mean that the orange haired girl was going to say no. Invitations to parties were accepted with vigor and there was a gleam in her eyes for weeks on what she would get her new found friend and what she would even wear!
It had taken a lot of thought on her part and a cat was going to be an obvious choice for her costume. But what she wanted to look like was another matter and she for one was over thinking it and antagonizing her family with all her decisions. The present was easy, she had gotten Istas two of the smaller My Little Pony playsets - it was those or the pink Power Ranger dolls, but she figured Istas wasn't into Power Rangers even though they were cool. But it was still the costume she agonized over.
Until she had gotten a black eye during a soccer game. That sealed the deal and her mom made her a raccoon costume. It, well, looked kind like a cat with the bushy tail and ears but ... it still wasn't totally a cat. She at least has a puffy brown dress, black leggings and cute black strappy shoes on and that was pretty awesome. Her hair was also down and styled in loose curls - pleasing her mother in letting her make her look pretty.
As soon as the duo, mom in tow, entered the area where the party was located Ridley released herself from her mom's grip and bounced over to where the birthday girl was. "HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" She called to them, bounding over with her fuzzy tail swinging about.

"Thank you!" Istas beamed and as the presents were offered she took them in her arms. She set the ones from Sam onto the table with the rest of the boxes and bags. She smiled at the small pile, she then joined her friends back in their little chatter group.
"Thank you for coming!" She added as she looked at Sam's outfit, "What are you suppose to be? It looks neat." She wanted to double check before calling him a crocodile or an alligator.
Then, Ridley showed up. Istas blinked at the outfit before giving an approving grin. "Ohhh wow your outfit is awesome. I like your tail!" She added with a nod watching Ridley bounce over.
Chi smiled at Ridley's mother, "Hello, nice of you to come." She said with a smile Lorenzo nodded a hello as well, however, he seemed a bit busy on his cellphone for the moment. Chi happened to look at him and gave a slight scowl. "I thought you were going to leave that off during the party."
"I, the party hasn't started yet..." He pointed out, guests were still arriving obviously that meant he had time to update stock portfolios. He smiled lamely at Chi and Ridley's mother, before sticking his phone back into it's case. There were a few things he still got in trouble for, including checking his phone.

"THANKS!" Ridley beamed, practically radiating in pride from the compliment she had been given over her mother's awesome work. Her mother was a master of last minute sewing and putting together, which was how most things come Ridley tended to be. "My mom made it," she just had to add in with a giggle.
"You look really cute and fuzzy! Bzz bzz Happy Birthday~" returning the favor of compliments. The orange haired girl's smile never seemed to falter as she looked over Istas and turned to Ainsley and Sam. She hadn't really been properly introduced to Sam as he was an older kid than they were so she stuck out her hand to him. "HI! I'm Ridley," she greeted before turning her gaze back to the girl dressed as a cat. "Hi, Ainsley! You look super cute as a cat!"
Meanwhile, at the parent's table. Monica flashed a pleasant smile to the other adults that had addressed her. Not wanting to go against the theme of the party, she had put herself in a rather sleek looking Zebra print dressed that .. well, showed off her curves very well, with her long black hair was curled much like Ridley's was. In her hands held the neatly wrapped present that her daughter had forgone holding herself and she presented it to Chi, not knowing what else to do with it. "Ridley went off before she told me what to do." She chuckled, repositioning the box so she could hold out a well manicured hand to the two.
"I'm Monica, by the way. It's lovely to meet you."

********* was not a ninja. She was a little too round and in your face to be a ninja. However, she did somehow manage to sneak into this festivity thus far without being noticed.
So far.
She wandered out from under the parent's table nonchalantly, as if a random domesticated cat at the zoo was not something all that unusual. The pale tailless cat simply just began padding towards the children, as if she was one of the party guests.
Considering how many of these children she had awakened as senshi, ********* figured it was only right for her to show up and investigate.
And hopefully, there would be food.

“I’m a Krookadile.” His expression was dead-pan, without any added rawrs or animal gestures.
“Sam” he said, nodding at Ridley and waving meekly. Under his breath he grumbled and mumbled something about ‘only girls’.
The more guests that arrived, the more disheartened about the whole affair the boy became. For one thing, his costume was really very warm, and quite silly compared to the other guests. Everyone else seemed to be dressed in reasonably normal clothes, with minor accents to make them look like an animal. Sam had… footy pajamas basically. Adding insult to injury, it seemed like Sam was the only boy to show up so far. He was the lone Y-chromosome in a sea of Xs. He just hoped they wouldn’t want to play house, or dress-up, or make-up, or doctor.
“When are we going to see the animals?” Going to the Nocturnal and Reptile houses were was what he was really looking forward to. Maybe there’d even be a snake handler out. Sam would love to watch the girls scream and turn away from the creepy crawlies.
Out of the corner of his eye though, he saw a familiar animal creep out from under the adult’s table. When ********* came near, Sam just bent down to pet her. “Hi there kitty-kat.” He didn’t bother to say the name of the cat, unsure if it was safe to acknowledge he knew the tailless cat.

-She was totally going to be like.. the only person her age there.. Aurora knew THAT from the start. And it had made her actually fret over whether she would go at all. But in the end the personal invitation from the sweet little girl was enough to guilt her into it.
Sure she only really knew her in passing.. she'd teachers added in her class a few times.. had seen her in passing around town and she remembered a brief conversation during the Halloween carnival. But she'd taken the time to give Aurora an invitation so she could atleast take the time to drop by. She could always bail if she was entirely out of place.
Aurora looked fairly nervous indeed as she strolled into the zoo grounds in one of her old ballet costumes. The bodice was simple and a flurry of ivory white feathers made up the skirt. Orange ballet slippers swept up her legs and and on her arms white gloves lined in feathers that flared out. Most strikingly her characteristic hairstyle was missing, instead a long wave of ivory swiping straight down her back and almost to the ground. Probably only someone who'd seen Swan Lake would make the connection. When she neared more more people dressed up, she picked up the pace, approaching the adults with a small box and a shy but polite greeting. Inside Istas would find a coupon for a free 'anything goes' plush toy at one of those places that let you build your own stuffed animal. Surely the little girl would know what she wanted more than Aurora could.- "Hello"

Istas giggled, "You're welcome!" She nodded, "You're mom must be awesome!" She smiled as she giggled, "My mom got it for me. She saw it and said that she thought it'd look pretty on me."
"Krookadile? What's that?" She seemed to be thinking, did it sound familiar? Probably, Istas noticed a couple more boys from their school join the crowd, she recognized one of them as an older brother to their classmates. They seemed to be dressed as 'cooler' animals too. One wearing footie pajamas of an Elephant, he was looking about as happy as Sam.
"Soon! I think Mom and Dad are waiting on enough adults to watch us so we don't get in trouble." She looked around thinking, like we'd get into trouble.
She paused, kitty? Istas looked around and noticed *********. "OH MY GOSH ********* YOU MADE IT!" She squeed and moved to pick up the cat and huggle her. Obviously Istas wasn't worried about people knowing that she knew ********* name. "Did you bring anyone else with you?" She smiled before letting the kitty down into the group she was with. Occasionally giving his to everyone else and beamed when she saw Aurora. "Hi! I like your outfit!" she called.
"Nice to meet you Monica, I'm Chilaili, and this is my husband Lorenzo." Lorenzo looked up, having a guilty look on his face again when he heard his name, "Yes dear? Oh I mean nice to meet you Monica!" He smiled, looking around, oh dang was he going to be the only father here?
Chi took the present from Monica to place it with the rest when she saw Aurora approaching. "Oh, hello." She said with a smile, before nodding in agreement with Istas, "My daughter is right your Outfit is very pretty. It looks like it's almost out of a Ballet." Chi wasn't sure if the young lady was into that sort of stuff as most seemed not quite interested in Ballet anymore, so Chi was trying to be Polite and not assume too much. She then offered to take Aurora's present to the gift table along with Monica and Ridely's present.
Lorenzo smiled at the girl, "Hello Dear, nice of you to come." He was sizing Aurora up, thinking she looked about Melody's age. Giving a soft frown when he realized they should probably be trying to find a new babysitter again for Istas.

Adira was a little worried about showing up to Istas birthday party, seeing she didn't have much connect with the girls civilian side. She'd only really had interaction with Hugbell, but Istas had made it a point to give her a birthday invite and it was so adorable that she just couldn't bare not to come. So she'd worn something cute (a sundress featuring little animals all over it seemed appropriate for the zoo) and made her way over to the birthday party.
About halfway to her destination, it hit Adira that she was obviously older than most of the people involved in this party, and that Istas parents may question why a random woman knew their daughter. It was almost enough to make her turn back, hoping to preemptively avoid a scandal and embarrassment, but she was so close it seemed a shame not to go. With more than a little trepidation, the socialite approached a party very different than the type she had grown up with and tried to give her most confident and charming smile, despite the nervousness.
There were a few other older guests there, including a girl who looked about her own age, which was a relief. As much as Adira liked children, babysitting an entire group of them was not on her to-do list for the afternoon. "Is this Istas birthday party?" Adira had already spotted the girl in question, but figured it was polite to introduce herself to the adults first. "I realize we've never met, but I met Istas while doing volunteer work at Knightside and she invited me to come. I do hope I have the right place." After all, they HAD met at her school, and it wasn't like she was getting paid to be a senshi. It was the truth, to some extent.
In hand Adira toted a small bag with a charm bracelet inside. It wasn't anything too fancy, a simple golden chain with a teddy bear, star, and several other fitting ornaments clipped around it.
