If you knew the Xanis brothers, you would know that while they were close, they were also drastically diffrent. They looked similar, had similar..hobbies, but, their personalities were polar opposites. And if you knew Elzo, you knew his temper. And if you know Marlo, you knew he was usually calm and collected. However. Like all siblings, they would clash, sometimes resulting in more then just verbal punches. Occasionally, they would get physical. And today, that looked to be the case. "I SWEAR, YOU ARE THE MOST MORONIC MAN I KNOW!" "MORON? SHUT UP MARLO YOU'RE THE ONE WHO DIDN'T PARK THE BIKE RIGHT!" "EXCUSE ME FOR FOLLOWING YOUR ADVICE ELLI!" "DON'T START s**t WITH ME BRO!" "SORRY, I COULDN'T HEAR YOU ELLI!"
The brother's yelling was reaching it's peek. A few onlookers outside of the mall were watching, almost hoping for a fight. Parents with their children ushered their offspring past, trying to prevent their wandering eyes. Mall security just watched, not wanting to get involved. Besides, it was outside of the mall. Not their problem.

-Aurora cringed visably, nose and brows crinkling gently as the sounds of discontent touched her ears, her feet pausing for a moment to gauge the source. In the near distance she could see two boys hollering at each other, positioned not far from the door she'd been heading towards on a mission for a bath salts. She inspected the two for a brief moment, not quite sure what the fight was about, but for the moment it seemd to be just words. Who knew how quickly it would come to blows though..
What were the two doing causing such a ruckus here in public? Disturbing the peace, upsetting the little children... And why wasn't anyone even doing anything about it? Her eyes narrowed in distaste as she spotted the security detail actually watching the mess. Aurora didn't even have to be asked, if security wasn't going to do anything, well then SHE certainly would!
Making a beeline for the two boys, she stopped a few feet away from them, pose rigid and tall as her hand took it's place on her hip. Her voice was sharp and loud in an attempt to divert their attention from each other.- "What are you guys? Three?"
"Didn't anyone ever teach you to behave yourselves in public."

Mid argument, both brothers stopped the second they heard the tones of reprimand. Slowly, almost cartoon like, their heads turned to face down what they both saw as a cute girl. With a very upset scowl on her face. Marlo frowned and Elzo's jaw dropped. They had just gotten told. By a girl.
"Stay outta this babe. My bro's got a freaking ticket and is blaming me. Not MY fault you park like some retard." Marlo's face turned red, angry at his brother's accusation, especially in front of such a cute girl. "YOU said to park here. YOU said the sign was 2 hour parking. YOU. I drove, you directed. Clearly, it's your fault for picking it in the first place!" Marlo's voice was raised with each syllable. Elzo's face reddened in turn, at least before he grabbed his brother and put him in headlock. "TAKE THAT BACK MARLO!" "ARG! YOU DAMN BRUTE!" Marlo tried to wiggle his way out, but only succeeded in sending them both to the ground, kicking.

-Ah ha! It'd worked! Her chest puffed with pride as it seemed at first that the two boys had been subdued. It was short lived however, as the words that met her ears caused her teal eyes to widen, fingers clinching into a fist.
Babe? Seriously? Had it been one of her brothers, he likely would have recieved a nice whack to the head for the disrespect.
Hopping back in surprise as one boy grabbed the other, and the two tumbled into a mess of legs and boyish grunting and flailing, Aurora steadied herself. This wasn't go well at all, in fact it was quite terrible. If only she were strong enough to actually pull the two apart.
Stomping closer once more she scolded again sharply.- "Ughhh... you horrible little monsters!!!"
"You're going to hurt yourself or even some poor person just walking by."
"Knock.. it.. OFF." -She growled through gritted teeth, trying very hard not to become part of the whole scene by screaming and fussing herself.-

The strange girl's outburst cause the brothers to stop their flailing and just looked at her. And ponder the fact she had just called them horrible little monsters. Like their mother. She sounded just like their MOM. THEIR MOM.
It was like all of their childhood flashed though their eyes as both brothers immediately scrambled apart. The very notation of a mother like voice sent them into a state of utter fear. One never crossed Mrs. Xanis. EVER. And both brothers, after years of living with their mother, had developed an auto reaction to such a mothering tone. Stop whatever you were doing, and APOLOGIZE. Even if you had no idea what you did. But for the love of god, apologize. "SORRY." Both brothers looked almost afraid of this mystery girl. Memories of their mother's wrath had made them obedient when it came to such a tone, even when it came from strangers. That was how well Mama Xanis 'taught' her sons.

-Aurora was just as surprised by the sudden obedience as she had been by their tumble to the ground, but she was none the less pleased. She could feel her blood pressure beginning to sooth, her heart rate slowing from the patter it'd raised to with the stress and adreniline of the situation.- "Good." -She nodded softly, her pose relaxing just a little.-
-Of course now that they were apart... and the mood of fighting and fussing seeming to geniunely been replaced by something... different, she was suddenly aware of how strange it must have seemed for her to stomp on over here, and for the briefest of moments she nibbled at her bottom lip in thought. Thank god she hadn't been riled into yelling or anything like that, then she'd have been REALLY embarrased.
Waving her hand lightly, trying to cut through the strangeness of the situation, as indeed these weren't HER brothers to be breaking apart and bossing around, her voice rose softly this time. She tried to drain the nag from her voice, to something a little more like a mediator, not always an easy task for someone so inherently bossy.- "A ticket isn't such a big deal after all.. How much is it?"

Both brothers were still a bit on auto-pilot. At least, partially. Neither of them wanted to get the beat down that they usually associated a mother's anger with. Or something. Overall, it was pretty darn awkward. They had freaked over a girl roughly their own age.
But, she DID sound like a mom.
"He started it!" Elzo pointed a finger at his brother, who just look at him as if he was insane. Marlo, choosing to ignore the statement, (which was a lie. Elzo started it.), got up and dusted himself off before facing the...mother in training? Whatever. "It's 250 bucks. It's not like we can't pay it. But...it's the principle. Elzo told me to park here not telling me it was 30 minute parking as opposed to two hour parking. The end result is that I got a ticket. One which he is a t fault for." "BULL s**t! IT'S NOT MY FAULT YOU PARKED THEIR!" "Actually it is." Marlo hissed as Elzo scrambled back up, looking ready for round 2.

-That WAS pretty steep... ecspecially for a mistake, so she could see where some hostility might be brewing... And she could see why either boy would be irritated if she insisted they split it for civilities sake.
Opening her mouth, she promptly closed it again as the male voices began to collide and escalate once again. They sounded JUST like when Bodaway and Chayton bickered, and.. now that she looked at the two, they probably were brothers.
Boys... Why did they have to be so monsterously uncivil!? Was it some inherent gene that made them so incredibly rowdy and inconsiderate?
No time to think. Even savages wouldn't beat on an innocent woman.. would they? Jumping to action before her brain could mull over the possibilties, Aurora stepped forward to get physically between the two as best as she could manage, pleading up to the taller and seemingly more firery boy.- "Boys, boys, boys!"
"It sucks, but it's done. All that beating each other around like holligans is going to do is get you ANOTHER ticket for disorderly conduct."
"Your energy is far better spent coming up with a way to pay for the ticket or get out of it. Not shouting and flailing around like a bunch of fools for everyone to see."

Marlo had to admire both her courage for getting in between him and Elzo, and her logic for pointing out the futility of physical aggression. Elzo on the other hand, just knew that he couldn't hit a girl. So beating up Marlo would have to wait until later. Like, the later when he was asleep later. "He still started it." Elzo muttered under his breath. Marlo just glared.
"We'll just get our folks to pay for it. We'll say it's for school books or something. Wouldn't have been the first time." Crossing his arms, Marlo went and leaned on his motorcycle. A reminder that He was Elzo's ride. And if he wanted to get back to the dorms on time, he better suck up.

"Well.. I suppose that works." -She nodded firmly, still rather hesitant to step back, else the two beast be at each other's throats again. However standing between the two now had her nervous for other reasons, eyes going back and forth between the two as her fingers began to spin the bracelet around her wrist. A soft and relieved little huff of air escaped her as one of them retreated to the motorcycle, and she stepped back minutely, trying to dig for conversation. Things seemed better.. but then, they had before too.
Stalling softly, she closed her eyes thoughtfully, before looking to each boy individually as she addresed them.- "Marlo.. and Elzo.. was it?" -She was pretty sure that was the names she'd heard shrieked. Certainly their names weren't 'brute' or 'retard'.-
"Hopefully you two can have a better day after this then. A nasty event can sour your whole day if you let it."

Elzo was doing everything his counselor had told him to do when he got mad. He counted to ten, he was breathing deep, he was...well...screw it it wasn't working at all. The girl. Yes. Focus on her. She wasn't some whiny little brat of a brother. Yeah. Non stressful. "Hurm....Yeah. I'm Elzo. Elzo Xanis. The much better looking and all around smart of the Xanis brothers." He offered her a grin and his hand.
Marlo just inclined his head in a bow. "Marlo. Thank you for breaking us apart. I don't think Elzo listens to reason and logic." "YOU SHUT IT." Marlo smirked. "Not to mention for all his 'looks' and 'wit' he's a still a brute."

-Riiiiight. Her brows lifted in soft amusement at the comment, not particular wanting to giggle outloud at his words, unsure of what would set off that temper of his. Smart she doubted... atleast in the responsible, civil, intellegent sort of way. Attractive though.. now that she had the time to really look, she discovered that neither of the boys were an unpleasant sight. The thought was quickly dismissed however as she realized how silly it was. She didn't have time for boys, not with classes and studying and dancing and all the million things she filled her days with.
Shifting her weight from one foot to another, she slid her hand into Elzo's, as her eyes turned to return Marlo's nod with a mild smile.- "Aurora Namid."
"You two remind me of two of my younger brothers. Hopefully you're not at each other's throats quite so often." -She teased softly. It wasn't a compliment, but it wasn't an insult either. Her brothers were frusterating quite often, but it didn't mean she loved them anyless.-

Elzo smirked, thinking he had gotten her attention. "Heh...well. We get along well, except when stuff like this goes down. Marlo's pretty mellow and stuff. I think this is our first fight in..." Marlo grinned. "Three weeks and 4 days." "How do you know that off of the top of your head?" Elzo's face became scrunched in curiosity. "Knack for numbers...and when you last put me in one of those WWE type holds. They tend to leave a lasting impression." Elzo grinned as Marlo smirked. Really, they didn't stay mad at each other for very long.
"Anyway, Nice to meet you Miss Namid." Marlo gave her a Shakespearian bow. Not one to be upped, Elzo grabbed her hand and laid a kiss on it. "We owe you our thanks for preventing our foolish behavior." That sounded...fancy, right?

-That was it, the fingers of her free hand reached up, touching her lips gently as a soft giggle escaped, obviously pleased that the two seemed to be getting along better now. As horrible as they were on their own.. maybe boys weren't SO bad, as long as someone was there to keep them in check. Watching the two speak back and forth in such a familar flow was fun, they must have gone to Meadowview the two, to be going to school together. She wished she still had some of her family with her. Going for a loud and busy house of seven to a dorm room, currently still all on her own, was rough at times.
Eyes betraying her calm, and color touching her tanned cheeks as lips pressed against her hand, she laughed nervously, drawing her hand back ever so lightly. Not unpleasant.. but weirddd. Aurora had so little experience with boys that weren't her brothers, and her brothers would sooner punch her in the arm then kiss her hand.- "G.. Glad I could help! My good deed for the day."

To be honest, Marlo was a bit surprised at his brother's tone. It was most unlike him. Not to mention it was, dare he say it, somewhat eloquent? Hm...Maybe Elzo was getting a few brain cells. Or he was just really desperate to impress this girl in particular. "Wow Elzo, didn't know you could be polite." Marlo smirked. Elzo just grinned. "Only to the cutest of girls." He gave Aurora a wink.
"You to to Meadowview? Or are you of the exotic Crystal sort?" Yup. Elzo liked her. Marlo almost felt like laughing. His brother rarely showed a real interest in girls. Especially when they showed interest back. Maybe he was...hmm...well...He did call Marlo a retard. So, this would be slightly deserved. "We're Hillworth boys though. Sure you want to let us know your origins?" he smirked as Elzo glared at him.
