THE DOOR

The tool shed was an inconspicuous little building. It appeared to be made of wood, in the same log cabin style of the rest of the camp. The tool shed was large enough to fit ten or twelve people comfortably inside it. There were no windows, only one large door with a strong padlock and chains barring the entrance. Considering that this was a camp, it didn’t seem to be unusual that anyone had no gone inside the shed. There wasn’t a need for any type of tools really. When everyone arrived at Camp, it was perfectly pristine. Yet, why even have a tool shed, if it wasn’t necessary? No one had seen anyone go into the tool shed, yet at times the entire camp could swear they heard talking coming from inside the shed at various times throughout camp.

Now it seemed that the shed was housing some kind of mysterious object. The two children senshi, by themselves, were unable to break the lock. The combined force of all three senshi was not strong enough to break down the door. The door and it’s lock seemed to be under some kind heavy duty protection. There had been an S.O.S. sent out by ********* to the senshi phones for anyone in the area of camp larkspur to response.

(( BATTLE ON! The senshi have one goal, which is to break into this tool shed and find out whatever is hiding behind that door. The Negaverse, somewhat surprised at finding senshi in their camp, must stop them from ruining their plans. All senshi in the area have been sent a phone s.o.s message, all negas have probably noticed the senshi on site, and one or two may have gone for help.

The battle will be played with dice. Senshi can choose to battle any Negaverser, or vice-verse, or choice to try to break the lock/door of the shed. Negaversers may protect the shed. Negaversers may roll a 100-sided dice. For now, senshi/negas who have been AT camp can roll a 3 20-sided dice, for a total of 60 points. Senshi/Knights not at camp but in the area (i.e. Nifhel, Aster, Polaris.) can roll 100.
You may only roll once per round.

The lock/door has an HP of ???????

Here’s the deal: All senshi/knights are welcome to join the battle, as long as there is an IC reason for your character being in the area. Either you are: A) at camp B) in the area camping by yourself, C) on a picnic D) staying a friend’s cabin on the lake E) went for a long drive, or something similar. All senshi/knights who were at camp, please keep in mind your energy has been drained quite a lot the last two weeks. You’re probably at about half your regular strength, which is a severe disadvantage. Senshi not at camp, but in the area, are obviously going to be at full strength.

All Negaverse agents, have the same deal. Lt. Negaverses who may have been in the area , or might be coming up to check on camp, are welcome to come. Captain and above can just teleport in! Assume that another Nega has sounded an alarm. Negas have the advantage here, as they are not drained/tired.

Civilian children cannot participate in this battle! Sorry you’ll have to stay in your cabins. Those who are being awakened can feel free to have your character wander into battle/ the outskirts or it and arrange with one of the cat-players to awaken you, or just assume that they already did!
Also, if you have more than one powered character chose one of them per a round to roll for. You can’t roll for your senshi character and your negaverse character in the same round, sorry! When you’re rolling please post in bold red letters at the top of your post Who you are rolling for. So that we don’t miss your roll, if you don’t your character that you’re rolling for maybe missed.

As far as if your character attacking is attacking another, please underline who or what (in the case of the door for this round) you are attacking. ALSO Please Bold who you are talking to.

Rounds will last at least 3 hours At the end of three hours either myself, zipped or Lith will post in big bold red letters (size 15 font) to stop. We will tally the current scores and post allowing the battle to continue on. PLEASE DO NOT POST WHILE WE TALLY SCORES. LP is being OCD and trying to organize everything so that we go without a hitch. There will be points in the battle one of us three will not be online at that time the battle round will likely be longer than 3 hours. We apologize ahead of time for this; we will tally and attempt to catch up ASAP. ))

Hug-bell looked horrified as Painite grabbed *********, "Let her go!" The child demanded looking frightened. She attempted to get the kitty back, and keep her out of harms way. "You can't have our kitty!"

Beyond hushed whispers in his occasional meetings with other knights and senshi, Babylon knew very little about the Negaverse. As a result, they had become like bogeymen to him - dark shadows lurking in the night, creatures whose horrible acts you heard about but who you never actually saw. All that was about to change.

Finn Derouen, Senior Counselor extraordinaire, had been out for a twilight-time walk along the lakeside when he heard voices coming from the tool shed. It had always been something of an oddity - no one ever went in or out, despite the strange noises that sometimes came from it - but he'd never had any reason to mess with it before. That too was about to change.

In a flash, his shorts and t-shirt were replaced with a uniform far better suited to a colder climate, and the glowstick appeared in his clenched fist. Babylon Page pushed his transformation-mussed hair out of his eyes and hurried towards the scene, trying to multitask by feeling out the area like Lina had taught him. Felt like... three senshi, what might have been another one of those talking cats, and...

Something dark. Something heavy. Not like anything he'd ever felt before. Babylon sucked his breath in through his teeth as he skidded down the hill towards the shed.

"I think you'd better let go of the cat," he said to Painite, gripping his glowstick as threateningly as one could grip a glowstick (which was not very much). "Or I'll, uh, illuminate you to death."

Fat chance.

Something was wrong.

It was with great grogginess that Aitana awoke to the ping of her phone. It wasn't that she normally even paid attention to the darn thing. But when it did something it did not usually do, it was enough to stir the green haired girl mildly. Squinting through the dark the short but sweet message helped to shake her from her sleep, and she slipped from her top bunk as quietly as she could, crouching beside Coralie's bed.

"Coralie" She hissed in a soft whisper, hands reaching to try and wake up her friend. "Something is wrong Coralie..."

Her eyes glanced lightly around the room, trying to make sure she didn't awaken any of the other bunk mates.

Tucked away in the forest ranger's cabin Aurora was watching Azzo dig through the fridge for the umpteenth time of the day. Really it was amazing he kept as lanky and thin as he did with all the snacking and eating. But she wasn't really think about that or anything else as she watched him fondly. Even with all the events of the disaster date and trip she couldn't stay entirely mad at him. He was still her best friend, and she still cared for him more then she'd like to admit. She just wished they didn't have so much company.. and maybe.. deep down.. that he didn't have to be such a hero for everyone.

At first she ignored the phone, assuming it was simply her real one, except.. wasn't there no cellphone coverage? The moment she realized that it wasn't.. that it was a more special phone, she dug out the device curiously. Her brows furrowing softly at the cryptic message lit up on it.

Pushing her way out of her chair with purpose she walked over to the fridge, leaning in to talk to him softly. "Azzo.. I just got a really strange message.."

"I think maybe we should check it out?"

The alarm made by his phone startled him. Neither of his phones -- normal or otherwise -- had made a single sound during the entirety of camp. He'd had very little signal, if any at all, and so hearing something from the depths of the purse he was carrying stopped him in his tracks. It wasn't one of the many ring-tones he had to herald a call from one of his friends, but a noise he was quite displeased to hear at camp of all places.

"Um, hold on just a minute," he said to Chris, whom he'd just been taking a casual twilit stroll around the lake with, digging into his purse for the offending device.

The message was clear. Paris looked from the phone to Chris, and then to the cluster of cabins and wooden buildings that made up the camp grounds. s**t. What was going on? And how was he supposed to just... ditch Chris and go find out without it looking suspicious?

"Umm... Maybe we should head back..." he suggested.

Haley sprung up from her nap on couch of the park rangers' cabin to the obnoxious buzzing of a cell phone. She had been staying on the couch for the weekend after that creature in the woods - that youma, or whatever - had destroyed her tent. It had been a long weekend, between the monster attack and finding out she was a Senshi. She stretched out her hand to the end table, searching for her phone to turn it off, but it wasn't her normal phone - it was that phone that Chloe had given her with her Senshi pen.

Who was calling her? She grabbed the phone and hurried over to Azzo - he seemed to know more about this stuff than she did. His ladyfriend, Aurora, was there too. Which reminded Haley - s**t, she forgot her shirt. She really needed to stop talking to Azzo without her shirt on. Whatever, she'll grab it later.

"Hey, Azzo, Aurora," Haley greeted, still looking sleepy. "What is this message on my phone about? Something going on at Larkspur? Am I supposed to do something about it?"

That sounded like something that would require effort.

Ugh, effort.

Ainsley hadn't been able to sleep very well the past few nights, not since Cora had gone missing. She hadn't been able to find her, and she was beyond devastated about the fact now that the day was over and she had nothing left to do but lay in the bed and sob. She couldn't imagine where her dear cat went, or what may have happened to her. The thoughts, and her imagination, were too much to bear. She didn't have to lay there lost in thought very long though when there was an S.O.S. captured on her senshi phone.

She dug it out, and then hesitated to look at it. Did she really want to go through that again? This phone was bad luck. She remembered the last time she had followed a message on her phone and the outcome was not something she had enjoyed that much. She'd had nightmares about the day for nights upon nights, and she was mostly enjoying camp. The thought didn't stay long though when she thought about what it might mean for her missing cat, and slowly the child rolled out of bed and quietly exited the cabin.

Her hand raised to the corner of her eye, wiping them carefully as she looked back and forth for any sign of anyone. She couldn't see anyone. How weird was that? It was a good thing though and using it to her advantage the child dashed off the porch and behind the cabin. Her back against the log walls, she took a deep breath and called out to her star, transforming into Sailor Chibi Hypnos.

Then she ran, and she ran some more until she was by the shed.

She seen Captain Painite, and Santa Cat (otherwise known as *********). She hadn't realized the little tailless cat was here as well, let alone friends with Captain Painite. Or was that the case at all, she seen Sailor Chibi Hug-Bell off to the side and she didn't seem all that happy. Unsure of what was doing on from the reactions of her friends, her head tipped to the side.

"Captain Painite...? What's going on?"

Chris didn't even have a chance to stop and think about Paris suddenly getting a phone call or something, for a sudden pulse of energy seemed to hit him in the chest. His eyes snapped up and towards the camp, not sure what it was he was feeling, but knowing something was happening. Whatever it was, though, he didn't want to take chances...

He glanced over at Paris for a moment, before shoving the flashlight he had with him into her hands. It wasn't on since there was still a bit of light left, but he wanted to at least give her a weapon if she needed it. "Take this, okay? I'm going to go ahead and see what's up," he told her, feeling bad for leaving her like this out by the lake, but he was trying to be better about not giving his identity away. Or at least trying not to. "Don't talk to anyone, okay?" he said, having grabbed onto her wrist to make sure she was behind him as they ran along the path, back to the camp, although once there, he took the time to push her behind the nearest of the boy's cabins to the lake. "When the coast is clear, go to the cabin where Peter is and stay there with him." He definitely didn't want Peter getting involved in this... whatever it was.

Not waiting to see if she was going to listen to him or not, he pulled away from her and glanced around the corner to see if the coast was clear, before powering up from Chris to Valhalla. He did take a moment to glance over his shoulder at her, obviously concerned about leaving her like this. "I'll explain later. Just keep low, okay?" he told her, before running off to see what the hell was going on.

What was this? The little senshi wanted her kitty back?

Painite laughed, her hand resting on ********* back now, keeping her in place. Her hostage. A little furrier than she usually liked, but she couldn't really complain about that, could she? It was still just as effective, after all. People loved their pets. Senshi and their talking cats? Had to be at least double that affection. After all, she just had to think about how much she adored Hiro to understand why they wouldn't want this little thing injured.

Painite's eyes wandered from the chibi senshi gaggle toward the new arrival. A knight, by the feel of it, but he clearly had no idea what he was doing. She eyed his glowing 'weapon', her expression very clearly unimpressed by him.

"Illuminate me? Oh, I would love to see you try. Come on, then. Come get the kitty."

For someone who was already out numbered, Painite was very cocky. It wasn't that she believed herself safe with the cat in her arms. Anything but: they could easily get it back if they tried hard enough. And they would. She just knew fear and doubt had no place in this kind of a situation. The moment she lost her head or started to let fear creep into her, she would be done for. She had to pretend she held all the cards, and was aware of something the poor little senshi didn't know. Even if it was a bluff.

They wouldn't know until it was too late, either way.

She bounced up and away from them again, rethinking her decision to drop down from the roof in the first place. She landed lightly on the top of the tool shed, still gripping ********* in one arm. With the other she struggled to pull out her communication crystal, needing to get an SoS page out there to her own people, in case they had failed to notice the spike in obnoxious auras in the area.

As she was doing this, she heard a familiar voice and cringed. That little girl again! The Chibi Senshi that insisted they were friends, even though Painite had done everything in her power, short of actually hurting the kid, to prove otherwise. If things got too out of hand, this would not be the place to show mercy like that again.

"Just a little game, kid. But don't worry, you'll catch on to the rules soon enough."

Once she made some more up. Flying by the seat of her pants, Painite just had to remind herself to keep it together and go with the flow.

((PLEASE PEOPLE DON'T FORGET TO UNDERLINE BOLD WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO!!! D= )) (LP Derp... I forgot to add that)

Azzo paused looked at Aurora and her phone brow lofting fixing to answer before... oh s**t here came Haley and she didn't have on a shirt... again. He literally turned back to face the fridge, food was much better than a half naked chick.

"That would probably mean there's trouble..." He replied. To both of them, frowning that youma shouldn't've been up here. He sighed and leaned in the fridge, "You may want to go check it out Haley, see what sort of trouble, maybe someone's polluting the lake water." He said after a second of thinking, they wouldn't be far behind. He glanced at Aurora as if he hadn't felt anything, although there seemed to have been a disturbance in the force.
PostPosted: Sun Jun 26, 2011 6:24 pm

Her look of horror quickly became a look of severe distaste as Haley suddenly appeared up in their business. Not necessarily because she was there.. though it was true Aurora was less than pleased by yet another wheel on what was supposed to be her perfect date weekend. No.. it was because she was shirtless. SHIRTLESS.

Aurora could feel herself cringing away from the sight and idea. Nudity was fine and dandy in it's place.. but a proper lady did not just flash her body around like a whore.. especially not to strangers.

Her fingers wrapped around his arm mildly, leaning away from the girl without bothering to answer. She looked to him for his opinion on the situation.. until she realized what it was Haley had asked. She had a senshi phone too? And apparently noone had informed her about keeping the whole stuff a secret?

Her hands released Azzo's arm, a heavy sigh escaping her. He hadn't just saved some girl in the woods.. he'd saved a senshi huh? She was supposed to be happy wasn't she? Then why'd she feel so damn jealous?

Her words were low and soft despite the lack of need to do it. "We should go. We'll be able to figure out where it's coming from once we change"

Zia was exhausted from camp drama and was pretty much comatose before a power surge dragged her out of dreamland. With a groan, she rolled out of bed to the floor with a thump and then hobbled over to find Azzo, Aurora, and... shirtless girl.

"What's going on?" She asked, sounding incredibly annoyed at the inconvenience. It was more like asking 'should I go check it out' and 'am I have to turn in to a cat for this'. Neither she really wanted to do with the weight of just-woke-up grogginess lingering over her.

Of course, if she was more energetic, she might've just harped on the new girl walking around topless.

Everyone else seemed intent on checking it out, so, her own question was answered anyway. She'd just shuffle along, she figured.

Allie was thrown across her tiny bunk in her normal abandon with one leg half thrown off the thing and arms splayed as she lay on her back. Sleeping had become not nearly as restorative as she was used to, sending Allie to her bed sooner and sooner every night. The many late-night escapades they had planned hadn't bloomed to fruition as the princess sprawled across the sheets every night for the past week.

In fact, Aitana would have had to step rather carefully to avoid bumping into her sleeping friend, so when the pink-haired teen was roused from sleep she almost smacked said rouser in the head. "Huh? Aitana?" Eyes were fuzzed with sleep only for a few moments before the moonlight showed the intense look on the Amazoness' face.

"Something is wrong. Hang on." Crawling out of bed with the catlike grace she had developed with years of training Coralie pulled on a large t-shirt over her pajama tank and shorts. It was a remnant of Ray Gordon and something she took with her on every sleepover or trip. Odd that it would end up here like this, came the thought for only a moment before it was pushed aside. "Lets check it out."

They were senshi. They couldn't do otherwise.

Perseus scowled as ********* was taking hostage, watching the Captain with piercingly cold eyes. She had refrained from talking up until this point, but when Painite jumped onto the roof she couldn't but help follow. At this point the senshi was getting a bit overwhelmed by all of the new power signatures cropping up in the area. Thankfully, however, most of them felt on the side of good so far, but as soon as she saw the purple crystal in the Nega's hand, she knew that it would be no good.

Perseus didn't know exactly how they worked, but she'd seen them in use before and seemed to be a bit like the senshi phones. "I'm afraid that you'll catch on to more than just rules. Don't believe we've had the pleasure of meeting before." The girl attempted to jump up onto the tool shed with Painite. Under normal circumstances it would have been no problem, but apparently they had taken more energy than she had thought. She made it up with a bit of a scramble, grabbing onto the ledge and hoisting herself up. Okay, not as grand as she would have hoped.

Oh well, point made. It was on! "Tick tock...I'm Super Sailor Perseus, and your time is running out."
