The message had went out on her senshi phone, the easiest sure fire way she knew to reach the other girl. But the message when it'd arrived was anything but business.Quote: Would you like to come over and have tea at my new apartment sometime? Perhaps catch up a bit like in the old days?
The response however had been positive and so Aurora spent her morning hurrying about her apartment preparing. There were cookies in the oven, a tea kettle waiting in preparation on the stove, and a dust rag in her hand. It wasn't like her place really had had a chance to get dirty or dusty.. but with not everything unpacked yet she still felt it was a mess and a half.
About ten minutes before the offered time Aurora pulled the cookies out and slide them onto a plate and started the water boiling. Losing her apron, she smoothed her skirt softly and brushed back a few loose strands of hair. Now all there was to do was wait.

Lily had not been expecting a text from Polaris or rather Aurora, but when she got it she sent back immediately that she would be there. She missed her friends and she was glad to be able to still be cool with them. She had really thought she lost them.
Lily hopped up and ran into her closet, pulling on a cute dress suited for tea then looked around for Alexandre who was staying over for a few days. She quickly told him she had gotten a text to meet up with a friend that she would be back in a few hours saying afterwards they could spend sometime in the garden. With a yawn she headed out to her car and made her way to Aurora new apartment.
She grinned knocking on the door and wondering if when she moved out she should have Aurora over for tea too. It only made since really. She couldn't help but to be happy and excited and she would have to call Jaimie when she left and tell him.

"Coming" She called out when she heard the rapping at the door, taking just a few moments to cross the couple of rooms to let her in. Lily was greeted with a wide smile before she was ushered in.
The apartment was cozy and warm, not over the top but certainly as comfortable as the Crystal Academy dorm she'd come from. The decor was simple and fresh, the few unpacked boxes pushed back to try and keep them from jumping straight into her guest's attention.
The smell of cookies quickly drew attention towards the kitchen and the small table set with cups and goodies. "I'm so glad you could come" She gushed, surprised and pleased by the thought of an afternoon of just.. normal girl stuff for the first time in what seemed like forever.
"Come and get comfortable, unless you'd like a tour? It's not very exciting yet though, I must warn."

Lily grinned at Aurora as she opened the door and came in following Aurora as she ushered her along. "I'm glad I could come too. It's rare to get to just hang out these days."
She looked as though she did not know whether she should ask for a tour or not so she decided to leave it up to Aurora. "If you would like to give a tour I would be happy to have one, otherwise those cookies smell quite delicious," she said with a giggle. Still she looked around with much curiosity. It would be her soon and maybe Alex too. They had decided he would live with her hadn't they. She grinned at the thought and wonder he would be okay for the few hours she was gone.

"Very rare" She agreed with a nod and a tone that was borderline with exasperation. Was it that she'd finally realized how nice having friends and a social life could be? Sad that she learned it so late in the game, when she suddenly didn't have time for it anymore.
Lily's eyes peeking curiously back and forth was enough to decide on an answer before for her. Offering her a soft wink, the ivory haired girl laughed a little. "Well then, how about we start in the kitchen and work our way around?"
Truth be told the kitchen and Aurora's rooms where probably the most unpacked and exciting rooms in the whole place. They were certainly the two most used rooms, followed very closely by her new big bath!
Sliding in to the kitchen, she took one cookie off the plate for herself, her other hand giving a very Vanna White 'tada' of the pristine kitchen. It was modern and nice, a modest stove and oven, fridge, dishwasher, and sink. A few appliances for cooking were placed here and there along with a few cutesy hand towels and oven mittens.
She turned the flame on the tea kettle a little lower so it would take a little longer before it whistled to life as they walked by, making her way towards the next room, the living room.
"I wasn't sure whether I wanted to go for dorms again at the university but now that I have all this room I'm glad I went with an apartment."
"Not to mention, the idea of having a roommate that might have boys coming in and out at all hours or that is a total slob was a bit daunting." She smiled sheepishly. Crystal Academy had been pretty good about not allowing either.

Lily grinned with a nod and followed Aurora into the kitchen mimic the girls action of grabbing a cookie and looking around as she went TADA. "It's very nice," she said softly.
She nodded with a slightly incredulous look at the all hours comment which changed to a slightly grossed out look at the mention of a roommate who was a total slob.
"I wonder," she started, "if my place will be so nice. I agree that living at university might be problematic, convincing my parents however was like stepping on eggshells. Thankfully I had Jaimie to help me in my searching so I was ready with places for looking and what not. They still do not like the idea but they've mostly come around."
She gave a grin, "what's next on the tour?"

"Yeah, all I had to do was mention the coed dorms at the university and shared bathrooms and my dad was happy to oblidge" It didn't matter whether or not the information was true, Aurora wasn't even certain on the details, but with him so far away there was no real way for him to check into it either. He'd always been easily relenting anyway, she was his one and only 'baby girl' after all.
"That's good that they've come around though, and you had Jaimie helped." She hadn't talked to him in forever and ever. Probably because she'd always been more Tallulah's friend than his. But then.. she hadn't really seen Tallulah out of uniform in a long while either. They all had different paths to take it seemed.
Motioning to follow she lead out of the kitchen and into the living room. A coffee table seperated the tv from the small couch. Another plush chair sat near the window that led to the fire escape. Aurora didn't linger too long, heading towards the short hallway.
"Bathroom" She pointed towards the room softly, more of a 'in case you need it' then really stopping to show it off. The next stop was the guest room which had little more than a bed and lots of boxes lining the walls.
