Azzo looked at his pocket watch that use to be his grandfather's. After his grandmother breaking the news his parents were coming things weren't all that happen. However he'd made plans with Aurora and Melody to "chillax" as Mr. Nguyen had suggested.
He wondered what the girls would want to do. But none the less he was sitting on the bench outside the mall, an agreed meeting place. Half dozed off, half lost in thought waiting for them. Things had not being going his way lately. Hopefully things would start looking up.
So there he sat waiting for the pair of girls. Wondering if he should mention his birthday or that the negaverse had successfully stolen his 'star seed' to them now, especially to mel, mainly as a warning, or wait till sometime later. Probably after he saw what kind of mood they were in, but hey it wasn't all bad, he was living and breathing. So he'd gotten it back they couldn't be mad at him could they?

-She been a little concerned when she'd gotten the call from Azzo, expecting, especially from the awkwardness of the conversation that something was the matter. However when he'd explained out that he simply wanted to 'hang out', an activity in which she'd only recently began to take part in with the bastards her nerves had been soothed, and she agreed.
And so she'd arrived, pausing to try and locate her friend just a few minutes before their official meeting time. She'd casted aside her usual cool colors in the name of spring. Her shirt was warm pink, sleeveless but with a decorative turtle neck design. Her skirt calf length and ivory printed with a spattering of yellow and pink florals.
'Hanging out' at the mall or outside would probably be different from hanging out in someone's room she'd decided, and so she'd went with shoes that were more sensible than fashionable.
She spotted him finally, waving as she made her way to the bench, oblivious to the dark thoughts that might be on her friend's mind on a beautiful spring day.- "Looks like I made it on time!"

Melody had been surprised he wanted to hang out, more surprised that he had called her and not the other way around. Not that she was complaining. And it would be wonderful to see Aurora again too!
And so, here she was at the mall to meet up with them. Catching sight of the two, Melody waved and eagerly made her way over to the bench. A bright smile was etched into her features, mini backpack flung over one exposed shoulder. She was dressed simply in a black summer dress, a white long sleeved shirt that hung off of her shoulders and fastened with only a couple of buttons over said dress. It was a rather cute ensemble that ended just above her knees, the over shirt ending just a few inches above the dress, and was matched with a pair of white flower patterned black ballerina flats.
Her make up was on, of course, though the colors were a pale pink this time (that blended in more then they stood out) and her hair was left down to be held back with a headband. It was odd to not wear her pigtails, but she had just showered and hated the feeling of wet hair pulled back.
"Azzo, Aurora~ It's nice to see you both again."

Azzo looked up when Aurora spoke, he smiled and nodded, "Sure does." He agreed not completely sure to what, but hey you don't disagree with a girl.
He rubbed the side of his head for a second before spotting Melody who called both their names. He grinned again, "Hello Mel."
Yeah he'd called them, it was to his discredit it wasn't completely his idea. However, when you only have so many friends there's only so much hanging out you could do. "So what do you guys want to do?" He asked offering the floor for them to pick the outings.

-And there was Melody, looking absolutely adorable in her pinks and whites. So funny, to others, perhaps even Azzo it might have looked like the two coordinated their outfits. It was enough to draw an amused smile across Aurora's face, her fingers brushing mildly at the braids that rested on her shoulders.
The question drew her attention away from attire, and for a moment her smile faded, biting her bottom lip gently. Hanging out was not her specialty... she wasn't even sure what kind of things people did, so for once in her lifetime.. Aurora REALLY didn't want to be in charge of this.-
"I'm fine with anything" -She offered sheepishly, shoulders shrugging forward.-
"If we absolutely can't think of anything then we could always just window shop."

It was nice to just hang out, honestly, something that her cousin Monroe was beginning to teach her. He joked saying that he was afraid she'd be as stuffy as her mother, which had them both laughing because there was no way she'd ever be like her mother. But because of Monroe's influence she was learning that some times hanging out was better then just doing nothing by yourself.
That didn't mean she had any idea of what the three of them could do, of course. She was as new to the idea as Aurora was and so she stood in silence a moment, thinking. A thoughtful frown pouted her lips just a bit in the process.
"Well to be honest, I'm not really a big shopper unless it's for music related things. Or tech, though I'm not a big tech person and know only a little bit. So... I guess if Azzo doesn't have any ideas we could just walk around and window shop?"

Azzo had been lounging his expression growing slightly concerned as both girls expressed they had no idea on what to do.
He rubbed the back of his neck seemingly as to think, of course this was a lovely pickle. He'd figured they'd both have something they'd like to do at the mall, and he he was now sitting there watching the pair of them. Had he not had any 'manners' he'd probably be staring at them like they were aliens.
He lofted a brow and shrugged. "Hum..." He seemed to let out thoughtfully "And here I thought I was going to be the one getting off easy."
He joked pushing 'weird' things aside, since when was everyone such a shut in? "Iunno we can window shop I suppose. Don't these big places have movie theaters or would you guys know? Maybe we could see what's playing?" He shrugged again glancing at the pair curiously. He didn't want to window shop all day but it was 'chillaxing' so he'd have to live with it.

-The situation was made no less uncomfortable as everyone else seemed to waffle on the subject. Aurora found herself winding an ivory braid tightly around her finger, pausing only when Melody spoke to raise her brows curiously. She was such a technology schmuck, couldn't even really set the time on a vcr. Heck, she knew what a vcr was, and now a days that spoke quite loudly how dated she was on the technology front.
Shopping in one of those stores full of electronics would probably be as boring for her as clothing shopping would be for Melody.. So she certainly didn't want to drag the other two around to things they didn't want to do.
Azzo's suggestion was a welcome distraction from her thoughts.- "Ohhh, that's a good idea. We can see if anything good is playing, and maybe find one of those map things so we can figure out exactly what this place has to offer."
"I know they have interesting food places in malls sometimes. And even those makeup and spa stalls. We could always get you a makeover" -She looked towards Azzo as she finished, raising her hand to cover the soft laugh that was escaping her. As per usual she seemed to 'think' she was pretty funny.-

Melody knew what a VCR too, if that was any consolation to Aurora. She and her cousin had grown up watching a lot of movies on a VCR, back when Gram was alive. Though she knew how to set the time on those things, because her mother and grandmother didn't.
But that was all in the past, and the present had her at the mall. Though hearing of the other girl's idea to get Azzo a make-over...
"Hey, there's an idea," she laughed along with. Obviously it was funny to the Vietnamese girl as well. Though that had nothing to do with the fact her and Ignacio played dress up when they were little. Nothing at all!
"But yea, I think we should just walk around until we find something that strikes our fancy. Could be fun on it's own~"

Azzo lofted a brow, almost unsure of what to make of the 'make over' joke. "I'm... not sure that'd work so well." He said softly as he fidgeted.
He liked how he was, at least he knew what a Make-over was. He watched that TV show with the home make overs that his grams watched occasionally. So he had that going for him, thank goodness.
He nodded in agreement before standing up. "Alright then, I suppose we should start walking huh?" He chuckled. His mind still waffling on the fact of his starseed getting snatched and his brithday was coming up soon.

-Melody's chiming in and Azzo's soft fidgeting spurred Aurora on further, causing her to give her female companion a slight wink as she teased a little more.- "What do you think Melody? Does Azzo look like more of a natural pink or a vibrant red lipstick type?"
-Her fingertips patted his shoulder briefly, almost nonexsistantly in comfort before she settled herself to the left of Azzo, assuming for whatever reason that Melody would take up the right. Motioning for him to walk, she glanced up towards the liveliness of the bustling area. It was amazing how it all could have completely melted into the background while they'd become consumed in their meeting.-

"Vibrant red with out a doubt. Though not so red it's whore red," she replied with out missing a beat, grinning practically from ear to ear.
Taking her place on Azzo's right, perhaps merely out of habit, she giggled and offered him a soft apology. They were simply teasing him and shouldn't take them seriously. Or... should he?

Azzo frowned the more they spoke. "I'm not sure what Grams would think if I were to come home wearing Makeup. I'd certainly not want my father to find out." He was still slightly twitchy and watched as they both took a side. He muttered a beat after mentioning his father the following line, "I think I'd rather have my star seed stolen again..."
He mentally winced when he realized he'd said it aloud and tried to act as if he'd not said anything hoping the two hadn't caught the mention, "I almost want to link arms and start singing we're off to see the wizard. However, I don't think either of you want to hear my horrible singing." He added with a grin trying desperately to change the subject as they walked.

-There was a look on her face as she heard his muttered words, one quite obvious to anyone that might have been looking directly at her. A questioning raise of her brows, her bottom lip tucked delicately between her teeth as she barely managed to hold back the sudden 'WHAT' that tried to spill off her tongue. Her fingers pressed subconciously against his wrist. She had known it was going to happen, it was exactly why she'd told him not to go out at night. Or rather Polaris had.. If she mentioned it now... Scolded him again or even asked what he was talking about.. Well she just couldn't mention it.
The joy that had been there just a moment before sunk into her stomach. How had it happened? Who had taken it? And who.. who had saved him? As his suggestion sounded she released her lip, forcing a weak smile back to her face.- "I'm sure it's not that bad"

Melody had heard it too, especially since they'd all been walking close together. Which, she wondered, if it wasn't natural since they all seemed to be pretty close. Well at least maybe it would look natural to others.
But still her head turned, perhaps a bit too sharply, brown eyes wide and staring. "Wait, what?" Obviously she wasn't going to let this go. How could she? "You had your starseed stolen?!" Though her voice was still soft there was an edge to it that only they could really hear.
Having stopped walking all she could really do was stare. Was he stupid? Had he really gone out at night and ended up nearly dying because he chose to chase down youma like some madman?
"Tā mā de."
