-It was her first big battle since she'd woken from her coma, and she could feel it in her shins and sides. Not that it would have been a piece of cake before, but it was obvious to the sailor scout that she was getting winded faster, that her body ached more. Hits that barely would have phased her before had her clutching her side. Her determination was marred too, which was something to say about the usually so responsible and determined senshi. She just wasn't 100% yet and Polaris was beginning to worry that it might cost her.
Her first attack had done little real damage to the cockroach-esque youma. The bits of flung metal debris hit it's exoskeleton with a click but most simply fell to the ground harmlessly. Oh it had roared.. or clicked.. or whatever disturbing unpleasant noise the bug youma had made before he began scuttling hot on her trail again. The only REAL thing she'd done was pull it's attention away from the group it'd been harrassing.
She rounded a corner looking for metal or atleast someplace to hide while she figured something out. As she panted for air something touched her eyes, something that sparked a brand new fire of hope in her. A half dozen thick metal poles lay against a nearby builing, each stuck in a chunk of concrete. Some sort of construction effort had pulled them from the ground and there they waited to be replaced and recemented into the pavement. Polaris could have cried in joy over the choice weapons.
Planting her feet she waited, listening to the sound of the youma's many feet clicking against the ground. She streched her fingers, concentrating.. trying to dig up any ounce of energy she could muster. The youma's head appeared around the corner and that was her signal.- "Super magnetic field!!"
-Energy focused on the one item, one of the metal rods quivered to life lifting into the air before it shot at the youma's head. Exoskeleton be damned. The pole crushed into the monster up to the concrete, the monster wailing in agony before it burst into that familiar dust.
Her chest heaved, searching for something to lean against and finding nothing she let herself fall to the ground. Cross legged, eyes closed Super Sailor Polaris sat trying to catch her breath and settle her nerves. She'd done it sure... but that was far more close and sloppy then she ever would have hoped. She was 'super' now after all.-

The whole mess of comas and dreaming that he'd been in some creepy wooded world with strange people had been a long ride. However finding himself painfully "recruited" not long after waking up was another thing entirely, and he couldn't quite regret it either. This new name -Sardonyx- wasn't unenjoyable, it had several qualities that he would privately admit to liking (like the fact that the stone he now shared names with had his favorite qualities and colors combined. That was certainly a plus), and he would certainly agree that his new uniform was much better than what people said about those senshi out there wore.
But his mind was wandering. A sharp shake of the head to set himself back on track, and he started off towards what had drawn his attention in the first place. A fight, of some sort it sounded like, even though the last noise had been anything but pleasant even to his ears. Marbles and yarn gripped in hand, he quickened his pace down the dark street to find just what all the fuss was about.
To say he was surprised to see a senshi just sitting there would be an understatement. Whatever she'd been fighting had obviously lost then, given that noise from before and the fact that she was just sitting there now. She looked a little tired, actually. This could work in his favor then. He did remember that senshi were the enemy, and something about starseeds.. though the last bit of information was a little fuzzy. He hadn't been paying full attention, but no matter now. An enemy was an enemy, and a tired enemy was a good target.
Either way, he just couldn't keep his mouth shut when she was making this so easy for him. "Sitting on the job senshi? Are all of you really so lazy?"

-The cool fall air was comforting to her lungs, it reminded her of the crisp air back at home as she greedily attempted to catch each mouthful, stopping only when the silence was cut through. Her peaceful moments crashing to an immediate halt as her body jolted in surprise. Her head snapped towards the intruder, leaning against her hands for support as she made out the figure in black.
Negaverse.. quite certainly.
From his choice of words.. to the tone.. to the outfit... He was certainly negascum, and Polaris hadn't been as terrified in a long while.
She'd already used her power once.. plus her super power once quite recently. It was going to take a little while to recharge and she was already exhausted. Polaris shifted as best to could to try and untangled her legs, stupid heavy boots, from their crossing so that she'd be able to use them in a moment. They just needed to get beneath her so she could propel herself upward, but as of yet she was moving far too slow.
Even her usual banter was cut back to something simplier as she struggled to look less helpless.- "You just caught me in a bad moment."
"Don't worry, I'll dust you just like I did your monster."

Just letting the string and marbles in his hand sway as he shifts his weight, Sardonyx can only roll his eyes just a bit. "That one wasn't one of mine." Not that it really mattered though, really.
Watching her move so slow gets a grin. Come on, really? He'd heard the senshi were tough, she didn't look anything like that description. But you know.. I think your bad moment is just the right timing for me. Should we know each others' names before I get it over with, or would you rather lose to someone you don't know.
Egging someone on, his best quality. Oh yes.

-Same team, same difference she thought as he gave her that smug statement and eyeroll. She only wished she was fully powered, that she could teach him a lesson. Well, she'd do the best she could atleast. Managing to get to her feet, an arm swished out dramatically, motioning at whatever was being manipulated in his hands.- "Super Sailor Polaris. So you'd better watch out if that's all you've got."
-He didn't need to know that she couldn't use her power. Not for awhile atleast, if she could just kill some time. She'd just have to act like she was one of those aggressive hands on sort of senshis.
It was fairly obvious she hadn't thrown too many punches in her life however as she plowed forward with a weak attempt to hit him.-

Azzo had for the most part been avoiding going out at night. However, he'd been hungry and there wasn't anything in the house he wanted to eat. Grams, was busy with knitting and he was plain out bored. This was one of those days it sucked to be Azzo.
He walked out avoiding youma the best he could, since well he knew sorta where they were. He'd been ignoring the fact one felt like it kinda disappeared as he walked into the little coffee shop at the corner.
Azzo normally would be looking for trouble. However today he just wanted two whole cheese cakes, one was a white chocolate raspberry and the other was a turtle cheesecake. He also got a dozen cinnamon rolls. Maybe nothing would make him loose these. He was still in remorse after he lost the batch from right before the epidemic hit. Those were good cinnamon rolls.

"Polaris huh?" Though he'd probably have to find someone else and ask just what she meant by super. Was it an ego thing or did the senshi get ranks too of some sort? No matter for now though.
A look at the yarn in hand and he does frown. Really, he could have done with a better weapon. Even if the color of the marbles was nice. "I can do well enough with what I have, you shouldn't underestimate a lieutenant based on their weapons you know." He offers a smug little grin, raising the hand holding onto a marble. "Sardonyx, at your service."
The botched attack really earns another raised eyebrow, and for her trouble, once he'd sidestepped to avoid really being hit, he brings his hand down to whack her with the marble. "Really is that the best you can do?" Not that hitting someone with a marble was much better, but hey.

"Yooowch!" -Polaris yelped just a little as the marbles cracked against her head, her hand lifting against the immediate pain. It certainly wasn't a life threatening attack, but it certainly freaking hurt! How many times had she hit her head on a low counter, she knew it would only sting for awhile, but it was still fairly disorienting.
He'd been right about his weapon in a way. But she still had the upper hand. Hers WAS lethal. If she could just do it.- "Your weapon puts you at a disadvantage of having to get close!"
-She was already crouched so her shoulder went down, rushing him with an intent on elbowing him in the stomach, maybe even knocking him over if she was lucky.-

When Azzo had gotten his order, they were fairly not busy. He was munching on a cinnamon roll and sipping some hot chocolate as he walked. He decided to take another route home. One that hopefully didn't have a youma because it felt like at least one had disappeared off his radar.
He paused when he saw a couple fighting. He could see the white of the senshi, he couldn't quite tell who she was from here but he knew one was indeed a senshi.
He sighed, damnit his food. He was going to lose it again he bet anything that it was going to turn out some stupid way. Lucky him the LT. seemed to have his back to Azzo for now. Azzo quickly ducked into an alleyway and found a place to hide his food. Maybe, just maybe something stray wouldn't end up eating it. He still had his hot chocolate though, it looked like the Metal trashcans here, all got caught on the wall. Which caused him to assume that the senshi had to be Polaris. Azzo grabbed a trashcan lid and tucked it under one arm. He wasn't going to be in a hurry to help unless the senshi looked like she needed it, he didn't want a scolding. So he strolled up towards where Polaris and Sardy were. Acting as if he always carried a trashcan lid around.

They fought back and forth for a few moments, an ungraceful and messy fight for the audience they didn't know they had. Polaris grunted and panted as she landed small bumps and hits. Snarky comments flew back and forth in the tangle of weapon and limbs, until Polaris' voice seemed to falter a bit.
She was getting far too tired. Her chest heaved, her body ached. The weakened state plus the energy exherted in her first battle was taking it's toll. Polaris was beginning to get clumsy as she came to the terrifying realization that she didn't have enough energy to draw forth her power again. Possibly not even her regular weaker attack.
It was in that moment of realization that Sardonyx's marbles landed a particularly lucky shot, the string catching her neck before the momentum of the marble wrapped it once, and then twice around the delicate area. Unlike her, Sardonyx was on his game, and he didn't waste time, using his hand to pull the string tight and she fell to her knees, fingers desperately clawing at the tightening string.
The last of her air escaped her throat in a startled peep before the passageway was shut off, her eyes widening in fear. She needed to breathe, her lungs ached and lurched from the sudden obstruction.

Azzo was moving quicker, his eyes on the Negaverse agent that was choking Polaris. The trashcan lid wielded like a shield this wasn't going to happen, not on his watch.
Giving Polaris a few more moments before he charged seeing there was no way the senshi was going to recover from this Azzo aimed the trashcan lid at Sardy his arm still full force behind it. Blind siding the nega agent. "Leave her alone." He growled as slide to a stop having hopefully fully distracted the agent now with a nice face full of metal.
((We have permission to puppet Sardy long enough to finish this rp.))

((Derp derp, I always forget to add important info like that ;D))
She could feel her energy draining along with the oxygen out of her system. Her head was beginning to swim from lack of oxygen, her pulse was screaming and throbbing through her body. She was too far gone to fight now, by now all of her energy was pushed into an instinctive drive not to dehenshin and become even more vunerable than she was now.
The loud clang of metal was jolting, but it was the mild loosening around her neck that really got her attention, her body sucking in the tiny mouthful of air that she could manage. The string tightened again however, actually dragging the weak senshi a couple inches as Sardonyx spun in pain and confusion to address his attacker.

Azzo wouldn't give him that time to address him. Throwing the trashcan lid at the Nega officer's head. Which the officer managed to duck, and was giving the boy a confused look at the Civilian. Azzo made a swift move trying to swing his fist and aim for Sardonyx's jaw. The boy was more than aggravated that the Nega officer was aiming to kill his friend.
One of the few senshi that seemed to always show up in his time of need, this time was opposite and Azzo wasn't about to let the job be finished.

Luckily for Azzo and Polaris their enemy hardly felt the battle was worth the effort. An enemy weakened so much was an unfortunate loss.. but it wasn't worth getting double teamed by a crazy guy.
Polaris crumpled to the ground as Sardonyx retreated, taking his weapon in tow with him.
Laying against the rough pavement Sailor Polaris sucked in air in savage drawing breaths, as if frightened it might be taken away from her again. But the breaths weren't long lived, within a minute they began to shallow as she grew to tired for the action. Her head hurt, her body was limp, her lungs were absolutely on fire. She seemed uninclined to lift herself up from her place in the middle of the street.

Azzo was looking around, okay now what? He was rubbing his forehead watching the nega agent run off like a scared rat. Polaris was on the ground and didn't seem inclined to move. He couldn't take her to the hospital, and welll....
His nose wrinkled as he picked her up, making sure one arm was around his neck. She was a heavier weight than he was use to picking up but he couldn't just leave her here. He didn't really know what else to do with her...
"You're safe." He whispered as he carried her to the only place he knew of as being safe. His house. At least, there he could see if Grams would help her. After he got past the facts of 'hey look I know she's a terrorist....' Azzo frowned in his head he was playing all senarios possible. He had to keep his mind dual tasking though, not only playing scenarios but keeping an ear for monsters and any other agents that could try to jump them.
