-She didn't belong there.
One mere glance of the uptight seventeen year old girl was enough to let anyone know that she did not belong in the surroundings she was currently in.
The perfect posture. The pristinly pressed shirt and delicate ruffles hanging modestly from her frame. She exuded Crystal Academy like a walking billboard, and to anyone that might have seen her she'd have seemed incredibly lost against the decrepied backdrop.
Luckily there weren't really that many people hanging out in the abandoned buildings that lined the edge of town like metallic ghosts. Not to mention the fact that she was there entirely on purpose.
Satchel bag resting on her right hip Aurora strolled through the weeds and rocks cautiously searching for signs of life. It was still so dangerous for her to patrol as a scout all alone, her body still weak from her coma weeks before. But that didn't stop her need and desire to deliver justice. So what if it was something as petty as calling in annonymous tips on drug dealer or beating up on muggers. The many bits of glittering jewelry worked as perfect bait.
Pausing to rid herself of the soft sounds of her shoes on glass and shifting rock, she listened, trying to find the curious sound she'd thought she'd heard not long before.-

Brass was having the time of his life. Between riding and this, it was getting hard to decide which was better.
He loaded his revolver, an old, but well cared Colt Python, raised the gun and aimed at a number of bottles, lined up horizontally for his practice. The bottles reflected the light from above in different colors, forming a complex mosaic of colors on the walls around. Dust filled the air, dancing in the light coming from the rusted ceiling. Nature could be seen everywhere, taking what was hers to begin with, as flower growing from cracks, grass sprouting from the ground, birds making their nests in the best hideouts. It may not seem from the outside, but that long forgotten factory was amazing from the inside, Brass’ piece of heaven on earth.
He shot one, two, three times. Two bottles cracked, the third one chipped and he cussed silently. He rolled the barrel to see how many bullets where left, then closed, aimed and shot again. The shots echoed throughout the building, cracking the brick wall behind the bottles and occasionally scaring some birds.
That was a good gun. He imagined himself as Zeus and those bullets where his thunder bolts. Bang, bang, bang, two bottles cracked and another cuss.

-Aurora nearly jumped as the repetitive bangs rang out, fingers curling defensively into fists. Her heart pattered like a drum in her chest as she tried to find the source. She'd certainly gotten herself closer than she'd been before and by now she was quite certain of what the noise was. Her fingernails massaged her palms nervously as she began to rethink her idea.
Was it really a good idea to get herself into this particular situation? Guns and people who used them were quite dangerous. Who was to say the person shooting wasn't a total nut either? Even henshined up... could she dodge bullets? She imagined she'd still die if hit by one, magical girl or not...
She flinched as another set of bangs went off her breath coming out in nervous pants.
What if someone was REALLY in trouble though? Wasn't it her job? In her mind she pictured some little girl, barely six or seven, sniffling in fear as some dark shadowy thugs threatened her. A defenseless old lady begging for her life. She couldn't turn back, she atleast had to try!
She jogged as best she could in her pretty little heels towards the noise, towards the large building that she'd seen birds flee from moments before when the shots had sounded. Creeping around the walls, far too caught up in the adreneline of the moment to notice the beauty he might have been admiring, she paused at a window full of dusty jagged pieces of glass.
Peeking timidly, trying hard to keep as much of herself hidden behind the safety of the wall she tried to assess the situation. Especially when her eyes settled on a single lone figure. Strange...
She should have just stayed quiet... assessed the situation better, but the pounding of blood in her ears and weight of her breath got the better of her. Calling forth the most 'I mean business' tone she could muster she shouted. Luckily for her the words bouncing off the ancient walls, helping to obscure her location atleast a little bit.- "What do you think you're doing!?"

Brass was stopping to grab a round of bullets and reload when he heard a feminine voice shout in an imperative way. He left the bullets over a beaten table and looked around, trying to figure out the source of the shout.
“If you come out here I’ll gladly show you.” He said, raising his voice to be heard, but without losing the soothing tone of his voice.
He wasn’t looking for an answer, he just wanted some time to find the source. His eyes scanned every single spot where she could possibly hide, he mapped every inch of this place in his mind long ago, especially the dark and safe corners. He figured out four of the best possibilities by tying them to where she could’ve entered from, since there were only two easy entrances and only one of them faced the main street. That’s when he saw it, the small tip of clothing moving on a corner. That was all he needed.
Brass smiled and rushed into the darkness of the building. He moved through broken walls and holes, trying not to make any sound. Once close enough, he pressed his body against the wall and slowly looked over the edge.
She was wearing a long skirt with floral adornments, a well behaved shirt and shoes with small hells. She seemed harmless, but something inside Brass wanted to pull prank on her for invading his territory and screaming like that.
As silently as he could he approached her spot until he could hear her nervous breathing. She seemed to be looking over the edge of her hiding spot, possibly trying to figure out where the hell was he. He stood up and pointed the gun to the side of her head.
“Hello there.”

-In her effort to be cautious and unseen Aurora unfortunately lost out on keeping a good eye on him. One moment he had been there in the middle of the room and the next he was gone. She strained to find him through dusty glass. Was he making a run for it to escape or was he looking to come get her?
Her question was answered for her, her body jolting in surprise as he startled her. Her teal eyes were as wide as saucers, her only sound a sudden squeak of a breath being drawn in. She'd never seen a gun like that up close. Certainly she'd never had one pointed at her.
Her heart felt like it was going to explode beating at the rate it was, the thoughts and images flashing through her mind just as rapidly. Was she going to die? What would happen to her father? Memories of his grief stricken face tormented her. It was bad enough to lose his wife... now his only daughter too.
And what of the Bastards? To die in such a frivilious way... Her shoulders were beginning to slowly shake in fear and from the breath that was being held in her chest.-

Brass pulled the gun out of the girl’s head and pointed to his own. He gave her the sweetest smile and pulled the trigger.
Click
“I would never point a loaded gun at someone, especially someone as graceful as you” he told her, with a more serious tone then he normally would, but without lacking gentleness, especially at the final observation. “Now, please get up, I’m not going to hurt you”
He offered his hand to help her standing up and walked to the open area of the building. What was this girl doing here? This is one of the most dangerous areas of Destiny City, she was either very brave or very dumb for coming all the way here. He couldn’t care less, she was free to go wherever she wanted, but coming to his spot and screaming at him like that made it his business. Though he felt bad for scaring her like that, just a little, so he wouldn’t throw her off until she was calmer.
“There’s a chair over here where you can sit if you need to catch your breath.” He said, taking the round of bullets from the table and pulling a chair that was next to it. He cleaned some of the dust that covered the sit and offered the chair with a gesture of his hand.
Brass looked at her, silent, asking with his eyes if she wouldn’t sit, then turned to the targets, loaded the gun and aimed, but did not shoot. He unloaded all the bullets and placed them back into a black wooden box along with the colt.
“If I keep shooting it may hurt your ears” he said with a gentle smile “so I’ll continue another day… Though, if I may ask, what exactly are you doing here?”

-The gun moved, and just as quickly the boy pointed it directly at his own head, pulling the trigger with a dull click as her mouth gapped open in what could best be described as a silent scream. She squeezed her eyes shut, but not so quickly as to notice the fact that no hole had been blown into his not unattractive head.
There was no thud of his body slumping to the ground, no metallic clank of the gun bouncing onto the ground, none of that happened. Instead his voice sounded with a tone that almost seemed sweet and soothing. It was too much.
All of the fear and nervousness from thinking her life had been about to end. Her shoulders were still shaking, she felt almost as if she'd vomit. But behind that all something else was creeping up and the shiver of her shoulder soon became the shakes of rage.
Aurora slapped out at the hand offered to her, missing thankfully, but nonetheless shooting upward her scream echoed shrilly through the old building.- "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!??"
-Maybe he'd been harmless, maybe it had all been a joke, but Aurora Namid was not laughing, not at all. Her brows furrowed, her teal eyes starring daggers at him trying very hard to ignore his cool words and composure. He was a psycho, cute or not!
She did not sit, simply standing near the chair he'd motioned, and slowly but surely her finger lifted in that oh so familiar accusatory point. The words started spilling out of her mouth like a river, angry and high pitched, like a mother that had been annoyed just one time to many by her naughty little five year old.- "Don't try to to talk to me about gun safety! Like you're using a gun safely, as if a gun could ever be anything that could be SAFE!"
"First you're out here doing god knows what in this building, I can only imagine the very worst because you've got a gun to do it. Holligan! And then you're aiming it at innocent girls, loaded or not. I can only imagine what you really use it for you.. you.. cretin!!" -She was shorter, obviously younger, and now she looked down right ridiculous scolding him even as he stood there with a gun and bullets right at his disposal. But she was just SO angry! Her words spilled out without a breath until she could talk no more, the last insulting word nothing more then a breathy scream.-

Her voice stabbed his sensitive years as she tried to rip them off with screams and insults, way more than Brass would normally accept. Though he let her speak, after all, he pointed a gun to her head and this was sort of his punishment for doing so. He damn well deserved and listening to some screaming was a small price to pay. More than that, she was adorable and all that scolding only made her look cuter. Brass had an especial reserve of patience for cute girls.
As she waved her delicate finger, her long braid bounced up and down and bangs fell over her face. Her tanned skin was slightly blushed from all that anger and frustration. She looked completely terrified but she still scolded him like that, that was very brave. He had a gun and bullets nearby and she would still face him with such fierce determination, he had to respect her for that.
Her screams grew silent in his head as he focused in her motions. He reminded back when he had this nice female teacher that always scolded him for getting into fights. He really liked that teacher and most of the time he would do something wrong just to get her attention. She cared for his injuries as his mother did when she was alive; it was good to have that attention again. This energetic girl reminded him of something very good.
As the girl flooded that once quiet heaven with the sound of her infuriated voice, Brass leaned over a wall, folded his arms and listened quietly, always with half a smile in his face. Once she was apparently over, he gave the silence a couple of seconds to settle back in and let the atmosphere grow calmer. His smile opened in a slow chuckle.
“You sure look cute all flustered.” He said in the most amicable tone “That is, If you don’t mind me saying.” And smiled like an old friend of hers, brushing a lock of silver hair from his face.

-During the entire thing he'd stayed completely calm and collected. Surely a real criminal would have cut her off, would have shut her up with a brutal slap half way through. But instead he'd watched, looking almost bored after awhile, finally settling up against the wall with seeming indifference. She should have been happy, but really it was more irritating. He really didn't seem to care at all!
Aurora was catching her breath after her tirade, attempting to sooth her nerves and unwind the ocean of adreneline and emotions running through her.
And then he laughed.
Cute....? He thought she was cute!?
Any pink that may have tinted her tanned face before was nothing compared to the sudden blaze of pink that accompanied her look of sheer surprise.- "Wh...?"
-It was a real rarity for someone to call her cute to her face and the sudden flutter of butterflies in her stomach from it was a strange sensation. She was supposed to be angry at him! Not charmed by him!
Even if he did look kind of like her father... Sweet little daddy's girl she was. That slightly tanned skin and tall frame... the subtle way he brushed back ivory locks... Like a younger.. far more handsome version of her fa... NO!
Her brows furrowed again, lips pouting in frusteration, but this time her voice was lower atleast, no longer a scream but more conversational level.- "D.. Don't try to trick me and charm your way out of this."
"You're .... you are.." -Very cute. No no quit thinking that way Aurora!- "Bad. You are a very bad boy."
-Her hands settled on her hips as she leaned forward, trying her very best to keep her mind on being angry.-

Brass stood there, arms still folded, admiring her ambrosial figure unravel before his eyes. His last words brought up something special buried inside that girl, as she deal with the surprise of his comments he could see a new glint emanate from her eyes, those mesmerizing teal eyes. Her lips flush red and her expression grew tender. He observed the collection of gestures she performed in front of him, as she tried to get a hold of herself. Such a delicate girl, she was, he could not and would not stop staring at her, smiling in silent fascination.
He let out a calm laughter and said “Please believe me; I’m not trying to trick you into anything.” He remained silent for a couple of seconds with pleased smile across his face.
He unfolded his arms and walked towards the girl, stopping when they were face to face. Her figure was partially shaded by his, as he stood between her and the light leaking from the wall. It wasn’t too dark, they could clearly see each other’s expressions. Brass leaned down just a little to meet her eyes.
“You have something… it’s hard to describe.” He said, in a low voice, almost like a whisper. “Your eyes, they pull me closer” There was tangible tenderness in his voice. His eyes drifted to her mouth, appreciating the contour of her lips.
He suddenly blushed and took a step back “I’m sorry, I…” He said, losing some of his steady posture. “I didn’t mean to intrude your personal space like that, forgive me.” Some the blush remained in his face as he gave her a silly smile. [Who would guess Aurora could be so cute. I'm loving their lill moment together, I'll definitely draw a scene from this RP. xD]

((Sorry for the delay!))
-He was staring, intently even, seeming to disregard just about every word that came out of her mouth. Maybe her actions were speaking too loudly for him to hear them. As it was his fierce gaze was making her fidget, fingertips gently soothing the fabric of her skirt.
Her drew closer and all she could hear was her heart. Was it fear? Maybe a little, watching him approach as if he were a predator and she was his prey. Only a little bit of it was fear though... and she would never admit out loud how much of it was excitement.
The dusty old building with sunlight filtering through the ceiling in glittering streams, the strong smell of wildflowers, the look of the tall stranger as he drew nearer, spouting sweet nothings. It was like something you saw in a movie and he was so so close.
She was stuck like a deer in headlights, eyes wide, her bottom lip becoming captive between her teeth. Was he going to kiss her!? More importantly, would she let him? Did she want him to?
Thankfully the decision was made for her and after what seemed like forever he drew back, eyes leaving her, before returning once more with a blush to match her own. A shuttering sigh of relief escaped her and after a moment to compose herself, she brushed off his apology. After all.. it had kind of been a compliment, right?- "It's alright..."
-That's right.. it's alright, settle down. Her eyes left him in an attempt to do just that, finding it hard to focus while she stared at him. They gazed at the beauty around them that she'd been blind to moments before, sweeping the room until the settled on the gun, reminding her once more of her entire reason for being there.
This boy was dangerous. The way he'd manipulated and defused her and exploited that bit of weakness... Dangerous. Aurora's arms lifted crossing her chest primly, though her stance was still far more gentle and less aggressive than before.- "But you never did answer my question of what you're doing out here?" -Granted, neither had she answered his.-

[Haha, don't worry, it's okay. ^^] He could notice her gradually falling for his charm. In that kind of situation he would make good use of the advantage to run away and avoid answering anything. He could try that… though he didn’t want to. It was a dumb decision to make, she could easily get him arrested, but part of him wanted to trust her. Just like that, trust a complete stranger. She seemed trust worthy. It seemed like he fell for her as well.
“Well, if you can keep a secret I see no harm in telling you.” He smiled at her; the blush slowly left his cheeks as went back to his calm and gentle self. “I’m practicing sharpshooting, more precisely with those bottles right there”.
He pointed towards the shattered ruins left by glass bottles over a broken piece of wall. “At least what was left of them.” He gave her a cheeky smile. Brass felt like smiling with her, for some reason. He was polite, but never this amicable.
“Forgive me, I never said my name. My name is Braesi, though please, call me Brass.” He presented himself with a quick gesture of his right hand, the left one resting inside his pocket. He walked closer, but not as close as before, and reached for her hand. It felt so delicate. He caressed it, much as a reflex, and asked “I would like to know your name…” He looked at her hand, then at her eyes, and smiled once more.
What the hell was he doing? He even told her his name! If she decided to tell the police he would definitely deserve it for being so naive… Still, it felt good being that honest with her.

-Aurora was normally a snitch. A goody two shoes who was happy to tattle on anyone undetered by her own lectures. A community was only as good as it's worst members after all, and the world be a better place if everyone behaved in a civilized manner. Any other time telling her his name probably would have backfired entirely. But she was in uncharted territory. She found herself smiling as he smiled at her, noticing it too late to try and hide it before it dissapeared.-
"That's not a very safe hobby for you to have." -She stated matter of factly, taking note of the shattered bottles. He seemed a pretty good shot, either that or he'd been at it for awhile. She believed his confidence though, perhaps it partly his charm.-
"You could put your eye out you know" -Despite it being a rather well known and silly quote, she was and seemed quite serious in her warning.
A seriousness that seemed to zap from her posture the second his warm fingers were touching her hand. She answered by reflex too, just as she might any meeting in which hands touched in greeting.- "Aurora Namid"
-This was no handshake though, his fingers were still on hers and not unpleasantly so. She should draw her hand back.. she should really let go. Her voice was soft almost regretful.- "You're going to get in trouble you know..."
Perhaps not from her, it wasn't really her style to tell other people's secrets. But goodness knew how many dangers there were in this city even without worrying about the police.-

“I am trouble” he said, his expression full of mischief. The kind of mischief that tastes like chocolate: you know you shouldn’t have some, but you don’t care.
Brass massaged her hand and brought it close to his face. He looked at the hand, looked at her eyes and gently touched the soft skin of her hand with his lips in a slow kiss, never looking away from those crystal eyes. He lowered her hand and smiled once more.
“Now if you don’t mind, Aurora, it’s time for me to go.” Her name tasted sweet when he said it. It was a beautiful name.
He stepped away, letting go of her, and walked towards the table, taking the case with the colt inside. He took a leather jacket from a chair nearby, throwing it across his right shoulder. He looked at her one last time, waved a short goodbye then winked at her with the most rascal face.
“I hope to see your pretty self again sometime.”
His motorcycle was nearby. He walked towards it, stopped in front of the machine and considered giving the girl a ride home. The idea danced in his mind for a second but he eventually let it die. She probably wouldn’t accept and he couldn’t ruin such a nice exit. Maybe in the future, who knows? The engine roared and he hurled down the street. [He is a cocky jerk, I know. >_<"]

-She could hear it.. in the back of her mind, like some kind of magic soundtrack in a movie. The song one she'd heard a handful of times seeping through the doors and walls of nearby dorm rooms.
You better take it from me That boy is like a disease
Her eyes were wide, lips parting in a gasp so soft it could barely be heard as lips brushed against her hands. His eyes piercing hers the whole time, making it near impossible to look away.
He's like a curse, he's like a drug You'll get addicted to his love
It seemed as if it were all happening in slow motion. Her hand was lifting to her chest as he strode across the room, settling as he slung the jacket like the rebel he was. The only reaction she could muster, one that she'd most definately scold herself for later, was a silent mouthing of 'good bye...' as he gave her a face that was so boyishly charming and then took it away just as quickly.
He'll tell you anything you wanna hear He'll break your heart, it's just a matter of time
She finally broke from her statuesque stance as the sound of an engine ripped to life, filling the room and drowning out her thoughts. Her heels tapped a loud melody on the floor before she burst through the door frame. He was already shrinking and Aurora settled against the frame to watch until he disapeared from her sight finally. Of course he had a motorcycle. A death machine to go along with his gun like an absolute moron. That boy was bad news. Her heart fluttered in a way that should not have associated with the conclusion.
He's a devil in disguise, a snake with blue eyes And he only comes out at night Gives you feelings that you don't want to fight You better run for your life-
