My Childhood Soul Stone/Infant/Freshling Years
As a Freshling, Malachi's life got a lot more complex than he was expecting. It's a good sort of complex because he got a mom when he was adopted!, but now he feels a little stretched thin. There's spending time with mom and Hailey, looking after all his familiars, taking classes, Familiar Club... There's so much to do... There's so much he wants to do, but there's only one him.
As far as Malachi, himself, he's a studious and quiet sort. He loves learning all that he can, as much as he can. The little Fallen barely says a word and is very soft-spoken when he does. He really just likes to observe things around him... listen and watch. He has a passion for science, plants, and animals. This little guy plans to go far when he grows up, but he's still trying to figure out what he wants to be when he gets there. You better bet he'll work hard to figure it out as he goes!

Growing Up Junior Years
As a junior, with a ton of help from Hailey, Malachi has managed to step out of the super shy shadows... a good bit anyways. When he's flying solo, he's still shy and somewhat soft-spoken, but he's not anywhere near as nervous around others as he used to be.
Malachi strives for perfection in the classroom, so when things don't go his way for school, he actually becomes quite moody and childish. And even though he loves Hailey dearly, he keeps tripping over his tongue when it comes to her... and making an especially stupid mistake in mentioning the fact that she's pretty flat-chested right now. All the same, even when he keeps getting himself in trouble, they both still love each other and that means the world to him!

Setsi was feeling very confident as she strode toward the orphanage. Not in a cocky way, for once, but just in the fact that even if she didn't leave with a child that she'd at least be doing some sort of good by making sure to be there for the kids. It made her extremely sad these children had to live without a family, so she could at least try to make a difference in one life somehow tonight. Family was so important. Her's was really important to her and pretty big itself... being an Imp and all.
Having arrived at the orphanage at last, Setsi took in a deep breath and then let it out. "And in we go~" she said in an almost sing-song voice as she pushed the door open. Oh how her heart was aflutter as she stepped in, looking about and seeing all the children! She almost couldn't stand the thought of not being able to take every. single. one. home with her. All the Imp wanted to do now was gather up as many of the adorable children up in her arms that she could and away with them post-haste! She could surely felt her heart swelling with affection for all of them!
As her eyes sparkled with excitement while they dashed between all the children running about and playing, it was then that she had noticed one sitting off by its lonesome. It didn't seem to much of an expression on its face, but it just struck her as a sad little wallflower while the others played. Little children should be around the others, playing and having fun!... not sitting by themselves all lonely. Setsi made her way over to the little one and plopped herself down beside it, all smiles as she did so because she just couldn't help herself. "What's a little thing like you doing over here by yourself? Don't you want to go play with the others?" she chimed to the little one, head cocked to the side slightly as she peered down with a smile.
Startled by the sudden sound of someone sitting next to them so suddenly, the child look up with wide eyes. It took a few moments before they tried speaking, and they seemed to have a truly hard time trying as they started and stumbled over their words. "Oh... Well... I guess I don't really... uhmm..." and the little kiddo's voice trailed off, eyes peering down as they twiddled their fingers. They sighed and looked like they were trying to find something to say, but they just couldn't.
That was the most heartbreaking thing Setsi had ever seen. "Oh!... errr" she said, tripping over her tongue as her mind had gotten ahead of itself like it seems to enjoy doing sometimes. It took a moment or two of her making an awkward face before finding her verbal footing once again as the idea finally popped right out how she meant it to. "How about you go find your favorite book and we'll read it together? I do lots of voices when I read." the Imp offered. She loved to read to the kids in her family, so why not this little one, too?~ She had no plans but to be here today, and she wasn't going anywhere until she found a way to make this little one's day just a bit better. And as she watched the little one's face light up as they hopped up to go find a book, she could do nothing else but smile and wait with open arms for them to come back and hop in her lap so they could read together.
