Shaking his head at the situation as he finally just decided such a little strange creature was not worth fretting over, Ezekiel went back to trying to decide on if he was going to play a game or not. He wasn't particularly skilled in any such things as games and the likes, but there were a few other trinkets and baubles that he had an interest in getting his little paws on. But just as he was deciding between a couple different games to play, something fell on his head and got tangled in his hair! "AH! THIS IS A FESTIVAL OF TERRORS!" he shrieked!
Mai Tai watched her friend freak out once again. He was rather good at such things. Stepping up beside him once more, she placed her hand on his shoulder to calm him down, then reached up to untangle the poor nuzbat that had crash-landed in his hair. "I hear these things do that sometimes." she said softly, stepping back with the poor thing in hand before holding the stunned critter out to Ezekiel. "It won't hurt you."
Holding the locket in paw, Callie wandered over to a spot that seemed quiet and out of the way where she could sit and just have a little time to herself. This entire environment was still far too much for her and she was beginning to think that maybe leaving home for here had been a mistake. She was shy enough in her homeland. Why did she think she could do any better in this one? Sitting down in the corner, Callie pulled her knees to her chest and hugged them close as she studied the rose in paw. Well, even if she did screw up her first chance at a new friend, it couldn't be all bad... could it?
Allumin shifted his bag off his shoulders and pushed the plushie into it. "I have so many now!" He exclaimed as he looked around. Even his new familiar was still a little surprised. As Allumin began to reshoulder his bag, he paused. "Hey..whats that?" He asked while giving a point of his hand. Baron turned his head and wiggled his nose. Allumin slipped up to a game booth featuring a simple 'pluck a duck' game. Only the ducks looked like little floating hearts. Allumin dug out a few dollars and paid for a small hand held net. He fished out a heart, opened it, then pointed to one of the things that had caught his attention. The boothman handed him a...bug thing. Allumin stepped back and stared at it and held it out to Baron. "What in the world do you think?" He asked baron curiously.
Delilah remained quiet, and nervous, waiting for her friend.

Kama strode quietly through the festival, smiling warmly at everyone, and admiring their outfits. He paused at a booth that had lots of Jackalopes available, and after some discussion with the booth owner, he adopted an adorable red one.

Hailey stood there, trying to proceed what she just did. What made it funny for others to be sure, was the ever changing expressions on her face as she went through the motions of trying to do just such a thing.
Malachi, were it possible, looked even more stunned about what just happened than Hailey did. And that slowly turned to realization, which turned to his face going through about a million shades of red. If there was one thing that wasn't expected, that was surely it! But then he saw Hailey turn and dash away, and there was an entire new flood of feelings. Confusion and hurt being the most prominent of them. She kissed him, so why was she running away?!
The geist had hurried away, but returned just as quickly as she had left. Of course she had to roll her eyes at the fact that her boyfriend was worrying himself to death again. It was written, well, everywhere on him. "What are you freakin' out about this time, Khai?" she said with a smirk. Taking his hand, she slipped a ring on his finger this time and grinned. "I just wanted to make sure that it was obvious you're mine~"
Malachi looked to her, then the ring several times, blushing and smiling. That was unexpected of her for sure! "You've never had to worry about that, Hailey." and he wrapped his arms around her, bringing her in close for the biggest hug he could muster.

Feeling silly over being caught -- in a public place, out in the open, in front of the world to see, mind you -- scolding his candies, Dodger had decided it was time to maybe go have himself a quiet moment or twenty. Finding a not so occupied spot in a corner off and out of the way, Dodger plopped down and leaned back. He closed his eyes and gave a small sigh. What was going on with him? Yeah, he'd always been a goofball, but his moods were all over the place and he just wasn't himself anymore. What was going on? Was it the feeling of being lonely that was still eating away at him?
Though, leave it to Matty to be distracted by everything as he was meeting up with Ryker again. There was something that was eye-catching and too adorable for him to pass up, so before anything could really be said about it, the goblin dashed over to snag it up! Who could ever resist such an adorable plushie! He'd never been familiar with these things and it was so fluffy and cute and PINK! UGH! He couldn't stand how adorable it was! Then again, maybe the pink and fluffiness of it reminded him of a certain cute and fluffy grimm that he knew... hmmm.. just maybe!

While trying to balance herself between candy bliss and new pet, Pawsa lost herself to the goings-ons around her. That included the initial feeling of slithering up her leg. Though, as it got higher, a puzzled look came across her face. "What the what?..." she said as she peered down at her leg. Wouldn't you know it! There was another one of those adorable snakes that had decided to wrap itself around her leg. Raising a brow, she snickered in amusement to herself at something she was saying in her head. Tucking the candies away, she then reached down and coaxed the little purple darling onto her arm with the other.
In an attempt to calm her friend down, Mai Tai went to a nearby table and took up a bag. One of his favorite things was chocolate -- next to plans of world domination -- so she brought it back over to him and offered it up. "You should have some chocolate and relax a little bit..." she said slowly and softly.
As he was trying to cope with getting to know this new creature that was now attached to his person, Ezekiel was discovering that he certainly wasn't a fan of this particular festival. Too many wild animals on the attack! But as his friend offered him chocolate, he actually forgot his woes and actually enjoyed a piece of brownie. Yes... this was much better
After spending a little more time by herself as she tried to collect her feelings and bring herself back to a happier, less anxious place, Callie finally pushed up from the floor. If anything, she was feeling very hungry and decided to go look for something to eat. There were so many candies in this part of the world! Something she never really got to experience much of back home. Seeing some that looked particularly yummy, Callie accepted a bag of them and proceeded to try one. Oh gosh! It was so good and sweet! She could eat a million of these right now! With a big smile on her face as she finished the first, she decided to have herself another one.
As Brilla and Tuila --her name twin as she liked to call her best friend -- stepped out into the Hunter's Jubilee party, she fluttered her wings with great excitement! They hadn't been old enough to come to the party last year, but this year was their first! Just as Brilla was getting ready to say something to her friend, something crash-landed into her! "Ah! Oh my gosh! It's a nuzbat! Eeeee! Look at how cute it is, Tuila!"
Tuila raised a brow, shaking her head with a smirk at her friend's excitement. "Girl, I swear... if you fill up our room with a ton of those things, I am so not cleaning up after them! You're enough to clean up after." Snickering, Tuila grabbed up a cute sealpup plush and snuggled it close.
Kara hoped that she hadn't upset either Lazarus or Odessa too much, but she couldn't help but feel like a third wheel. She let out a deep breath, shaking her head from side to side. She also wasn't the best at knowing how to handle such a situation.
Anara frowned as she found herself back at another festival. Things were always hard for her in these situations, but perhaps it was harder for her now that she knew Gwen. She didn't know how to be here alone, going back to stealing things. As if answering her question on why she was here, she felt a little claw grab onto her sleeve. Turning, she smiled at the little familiar, scratching it under the chin. "What do you say... keep me company?"
Kiessi continued to hold onto their brother's hand as they led them around the festival. They were kind of sad that Lorek didn't seem nearly as enthusiastic about everything as they had, but Kiessi still wanted to change that. They were determined to get their little brother to have some fun.
Lorek took a deep breath, all the lights and people were a bit overwhelming, but he was glad to have Kiessi at his side. As they moved through the crowd, he made sure to never lose his brother's hand.
Rorie couldn't help but yawn. Nilima had been keeping him up later than he was used to, on top of getting him up way too early. He didn't dislike having a roommate, but there were definitely times where she annoyed him, and the lack of sleep was one he couldn't get over. That said, it wasn't all that surprising that he had appeared at the festival rather late.
Syndri was still moving around the crowd, trying to find the best place to get more prizes. Lifting a little hand, they picked up a little duck from a pond, happily smiling when they landed yet another plushie for their collection.
Sariya smiled gently at their child as they entered the festival grounds. She was hoping that coming here and seeing how fun the Academy life could be would help Sasori adjust from being so far from home. She gently squeezed their hand and walked through the gates to see all the twinkling lights. "It'll be alright." She said, reassuringly.

This was Sasori's first time on the Academy Grounds. They had planned on going straight to the Principal after the festival to get Sasori registered to go to the school. They were nervous. Their mother kept assuring them that it was nothing to be scared about, but Sasori couldn't help but feel it in the pit of their stomach. This would be the first time they were so far from home without their mother and no matter how fun this festival was, they weren't sure it could ease their fears on the matter.
