The festival seemed to be coming to a close. Rowan noticed a lot of the different stalls starting to pack up their various wares. Any stall that was selling things suddenly dipped the prices down, and the stalls that were giving away free prizes had everything clustered together with people trying to hand the items off. Probably less to pack up and clean when it was all said and done. Rowan only paused once on their way back to their dorm to look at some of the items, and had a bouquet of roses thrust at them for their troubles. They learned from that, and was very careful to not make any sort of eye contact the rest of the way to the Academy.
The whole festival looked like it was winding down. There were still lots of games open and things to do, but it seemed like the crowds had thinned and some of the stalls were packing up. "Let's see if there's any other games," Freddy encouraged, bringing along the little Bakeneko whose name he still didn't know. Maybe they could get in one or two more games before they called it a day. The bean toss game, which he'd luck at at the very beginning, was still open. Since Freddy had already won before he encouraged the Bakeneko to give it a shot. "It's lots of fun, you should give it a try!"
Alyssum let herself be pulled along by the little Geist. It helped that the crowds seemed to have thinned, and there didn't see to be as many flying plushies or toys. The Geist led her to a game that she was pretty sure she'd passed on her way down, but hadn't stopped to really pay attention. It seemed simple enough, you threw little bags filled with beans at a board with holes cut in it and tried to make the bags go through. Alyssum was pretty quick, but didn't have much strength of arm. She gave the game a shot anyway. Like she feared she didn't do all that well, but the smiling game attendant still gave her a pretty little prize.

Quartz was determined to see as much of it as she could before it was closed for good. Topaz tried to remind her here would always be next year, but next year seemed like such a long time away to the freshling Baphomet.
There were a few perks at least. With the festivals being almost move, prizes were being given away at a rapid rate! Quartz was given a very pretty flower by a friendly-looking merchant, and raced back to show her mom.

She probably could have made away with enough plushies to fill her room if she wanted, without even having to steal them. They were practically throwing them at people. Hoping to maybe still find a few games open and a couple more pretties, Samara poked around a bit. She did find a stall that was giving away some of the prettiest stones. She made off with a piece of amethyst, one of her favorites.

Maybe she could find something else nice before the day came to an end. She noticed a brightly colored Geist standing at a table of stones, and went over to look. They had lots of pretty stones, but some other nice little trinkets as well. She picked out a ring she thought Flax might like, and turned to look at the Geist.
"There's just so much cute stuff this year, isn't there!"
Hailey grinned to Malachi as she snitched the locket he held out to her. She threw her arms around him and squeezed tightly. "You are the best boyfriend in the world! You know that, right?~" Beaming happily, she turned around and held the locket back out to him. "Put it on for me?~" and she pulled her hair aside as he put the locket on for her.
When Hailey turned around to face him again, Malachi smiled happily as he saw the locket resting right above her normal necklace. "You wear pink well, you know that?~"
The geist scoffed and smirked. "I wear anything awesomely! I wear pink for you, and only you, though. So feel lucky for it!" Grabbing his hand in hers, Hailey swayed side to side slightly. "Ready to go out to eat? I'm super starving!"
Malachi squeezed the smaller hand in his own, smiling and laughing at her dramatics over food. "You got it, Hailey." He brought her hand up to his lips, giving it a soft kiss, before leading her on out so they could go out to eat.

For some reason, Dodger just couldn't shake the feeling that something important was going to happen for him. A reason behind him wanting these little purple trinkets and whatnot. Just even the thought of having a reason was making his little tail wag back and forth quickly. He had been trying to adopt for so long now, but never had a good feeling. Maybe... maybe something good was going to happen for him like that soon! Now he really couldn't stand the thought of not rushing home just in case! He'd probably drive himself crazy, maybe even fall asleep near the phone after trying to pull an all-nighter... possibly even call into work for the day, but there had to be a good reason for these feelings! Gathering everything up and making sure all things were accounted for, Dodger headed home... Just in case.
All Matty could do was watch the grimm with this awkard, yet amused smirk on his face. Wow... Was he just imagining things, or was Ryker coming on to him? Well he certainly could wish, right? Laughing, mostly to try and break some tension -- because man is that some tension -- he grabbed up a bag of sweethearts as well. "Well, let it be said that roses are certainly a good look on you, baby~"
The goblin realized as he looked down, that there was a bag of brownies in one hand, and candies in the other. Wow.. he was going to have to be careful! Things kept going like this, he was gonna eat himself silly! Still having his mind on food as a distraction, he batted his eyes at Ryker. "I'm ready for home. Same deal as last time? You buy I cook?~"

As time wore on, Pawsa found it harder and harder to survive on just junk food. She may have absolutely loved the stuff, but she was hardcore craving actually sustenance. Maybe a big ol' hamburger with cheese and bacon with loaded chili cheese fries on the side. Of course, if she was going that route, she certainly couldn't forget the ice cold beer that needed to accompany those fine dines. "Yup! That settles it! I'm so done with this junk!" As she gathered her things up, she found this off little plushie and made a funny face. "Well I don't remember you..." Walking out, she passed it to this cute little neko kid. "Here. Happy Jubilee, kid." Smirking, she headed out for food.
The two of them relaxed for a little while while Mai Tai drank the tea Ezekiel had gotten her, but he still couldn't help noticing how tired she still was. With a smirk on his face, Ezekiel sighed. "I think we should get you back home, Mai. Come on. I will help you up."
Mai Tai was surprised at how helpful he was being right now. Not to say he wasn't on a normal basis, but he was really looking out for her right now. It was nice for a change. As she stood up, she held out a small bag of candies to him. "For you." and leaned against her helping shoulder... she was so tired right now and he was great to lean on as they walked home.

Callie was having fun playing with her new purrbaby and the toys she had managed to collect. It wasn't until a stranger touched her head in passing, then passed off a funny looking purple something to her that she came out of her own little world. Eyes wide as she looked between the disappearing nightmare and the big purple thing now in her arms, Callie cocked her head to the side. What was that all about? After the nightmare that had given her the purple blob had disappeared completely, Callie peered down at the fluffy thing in her hold then giggled. It was a sealpup! Cuddling her new toy, She then gathered up all her things in her bag and headed back to her room to drop it off before going to get food.
Brilla laughed her little butt off at the fact that they both had been bombarded by nuzbats! It was really super funny to her, even more so because she knew how much Tuila would freak out once they got them both back to their room. In an attempt to keep her bestie's mood good, she ran over to a stand, then right back to Tuila. "Here! Cheer up, buttercup~" and she handed over a twinnie teal fennekit plushie to match the pink one she got herself.
Tuila was officially in freak-outsville over all the nuzbats that they somehow got stuck with. It wasn't until hr bestie came back with a little gift for her, that she smiled. "Thanks Bri!.. you really are the best~"
Though the little plushie held her attention for a little while, Tricia grew bored and restless. This was really an uncomfortable situation for the elf, in which she did not know how to handle herself and the lack of those she felt comfortable socializing with. Grimacing, she made her way past a game booth. She had almost just kept walking, but something caught her interests out of the corner of her eyes. More jewelry. More little bracelets. She wanted a million of them. Stepping up, she did her best to win herself one. The ring toss game went terribly, but she still got one ring over the bottle, so that meant a new bracelet for her! Grabbing up the one she wanted, Tricia slid it on her wrist and decided she was done with the place. It was wrapping up anyways.
