Ruddi's been sitting in the same position for a good while now trying to get as much detail as possible without getting bored. She moves back and forth between hr drawing pad and the still life. The weird shaped winged bell that she found the other day almost out of nowhere with old blankets and bears and even her own room key to add something more to it. Ruddi finally puts down the pad and charcoal to be glad to finish the still life. She hopes that Mr. Meiann likes it even if drawing isn't her strong suit.

Name: Foras Prompt Response: Foras had to admit he was a little disappointed that he had come to art class and he wasn't working on any of his art! He understood the importance of color theory however, and he had a lot of experience mixing colors to get the exact shade of something that he was looking for. All in all, he wanted too worried about the online quiz. As Foras sat back in his chair he zoomed through the first two sections of the quiz. They were pretty easy, it didn't really start getting hard until working on complementary colors. He had to lean in to squint at some of the colors and as he went on he almost felt like he had a bit of a headache.. Goodness, this was sort of annoying. It was totally different from what he was used to working with as well. That barely affected his grade however, he was quite happy with the 8.8 he got in the end.

Name: Ganymede Prompt Response: Of course he happened to be in the same art class as Foras... He sighed to himself, just listening to Deskri talk about what they were doing.... Color theory? Well, that was something he was interested in - colors had a lot to do with fashion. So, he picked up the tablet and started up the game... And then immediately regretted this decision. The first few rounds weren't that bad! But the last couple were just terrible. How was he supposed to match these!?
Well. a 4.3 was just shameful. He definitely wouldn't be telling anyone about this. Hell no. Though he was pretty sure part of it was that he didn't understand how the controls worked until halfway through the tetradic exercise, but whatever. He quickly erased the score before Foras could see. The last thing he wanted was his roommate to see that shameful thing. Ugh.

Name: Hailey
When Deskri announced their assignment for today, Hailey was thrilled. The aspect of getting to design her own creature was something she looked forward to doing right now! She loved making weird animals and characters all the time and now she was going to get credit at school to do that?! AWESOME! Grinning, Hailey broke out her supplies and got right down to it. Before long, she was done with her assignment and got up to turn it in, beaming proudly as she handed it in to her teacher.
Creature Name: Homasnoad The Homasnoad is a strange creature. Not quite mammal and not quite reptile. It has fur like a mammal, but it's body looks more like a reptile... save the long ears! and can't produce it's own body heat. Most of the time they sit still like a statue under the light to warm up and because they are so weird, it's easy to attract attention and fooooood. It has a long tongue that it uses to grab up different foods, small children being its favorite. Mweeheehee. And when it can't reach with it's tongue, it uses it's hypno-eyes to make it walk right into it's big ol mouth and down into its belleh! It's rather lazy, so if getting food is too much effort past a lick away or unaffected victims, it would rather go hungry until something or someone that is easy prey comes along.
Name: Eveilyn The teacher didn’t even have to finish speaking before Eveilyn had an idea in her mind already. It was odd but she felt very ready for this assignment and in no time at all she was done with it. It was a bit scary and dark but she blamed that on the darker poetry she had been reading lately. Latter she’d draw a happy image to help balance things out in her sketch book. She went through and gave a brief overview of the creature like it was actually a being known to the world rather than something she just made up.
Creature Name: Bonsil- This creature’s actual appearance will vary based on terrain. In more desert like climates it will appear to be made of bone or stone, while in a more plains like or forest environments it will appear as though to be made of branches. It is a tall bipedal creature that has a number of open spaces in its structure making it hard to see at night. It hunts by crushing its victims and absorbing their nutrients through its tough skin as such it’s not unusual to find a creature lying inside the remains of its kill. Its height varies based on age but creature over a century old have been known to grow as tall as eleven feet. More active at night than during the day these creatures tend to shy from large groups of individuals instead opting to pounce on smaller or alone prey. Image:

Name: Rose Creature Name: Tipletox (green forest-spirit resembling a cross between a fenec fox and an eevee? Image:
yes, i used a dress up game to make it, shoot me rolleyes
Rose had no idea what she would do, so she played around with cute little animal parts until the Tipletox came together on her paper. It was heavily influenced on the forest, which she had decided it inhabited, and that sighting one of these rare creatures meant extraordinarily good luck. She turned in her concept and returned to her desk, hoping she did alright.

Name: Galan Galan did some research to determine the direction he wanted to take his creature in. There was a recurring theme of mythical creatures being based off fears, so Galan decided his would be based on his fear of loud and sudden noises. He sketched his creature in his notebook, and (in true Galan fashion) he'd finished the washes and shading entirely before he realized he'd drawn it on lined pages. Well, a little paint could cure that!
Creature Name: Krakow: the thunderstorm monster. The Krakow is born of thunderclouds, nothing but wet and sopping cloud-fluff when they are young. But as the winds churn them up, they gather power, stoking an inner molten core that spews out of them at maturity, raining down lightning. The thunder is said to be their mighty roar as they twist and wheel in the clouds. Krakow are notoriously impartial and careless, throwing their bolts down wherever they choose. They ignore the mortal world down below, and like nothing more than the singed scent of ozone when their lightning burns through the air. Image:
Myself, though solely refering to my skin colour nad markings, along with my hair:
This image of flowers and butterflies is also monochrome:
And lastly, my third image. With the acception of the golden accent, the remainder of this image is also monochrome, depicting how someone can pull off a monochrome aesthetic in their home:
Response:
Easy peasy. First of all, Hexen herself was monochrome, at least where her skin was concerned. And so, she submitted a photo of herself. Living colour, ladies and germs!
The other two images were also pretty easy to find. This assignment was a cake walk.
Response: It was actually a lot of fun to find different things, and Vanna had a lot of fun. It wasn't a secret that he liked more creative things if his ability to sew was any indication but he had always liked art. It was also nice after all of the more tougher assignments to have a fun easy one. Seeing as he completeled the assignment he went to turn in his class work to the teacher.

Complimentary colors...huh? It had always been an odd notion to the Fallen. Two colors that normally wouldn't look very good together, but ends The ended up completely canceling each other out. Esrael studied the colors on the chart, trying to figure out which two colors he liked best with each other. Teal and Vermillion, definitely. He silently hummed to himself before writing his answer down on paper, making sure to draw a little doodle with both of the colors he chose. He got up and turned in his assignment, beaming with happiness.
Response:T'kani found the first two easy enough, a painting using one color in different shades, and another that used only a few colors, but then what? She tapped her pencil lazily on the desk as she tried to work out the problem in her head. Between that and full color spectrum was just...another painting of limited colors, right? She huffed lightly and stared out the window for a moment, watching the leaves randomly detach and fall to the ground, lost in thought and mesmerized by the simple stages of nature.
Ah...AH! That's it!
She quickly glanced around to make sure the teacher wasn't looming over her to scold her for daydreaming, then went about finding a series on the changing seasons. Trees that had only a few colors, but distinct from one another!
