Glad to have come up with a reasonable idea, Gaius was set to follow her back to the doors that lead to the interior of the Academy... that is, not before stealing one last peek at the plants laid out. Staring at the ones still up for grabs, then the two that were balanced between his two arms now, he slowly returned to the booth to gingerly slide off a third, and hug it between the two others he had possession of. Maybe Malachi would want one...
Quite pleased with himself, he happily trotted after the chimera, using his behind to push open the doors for them, "I'll meet you back here then, once we drop off our stuff, k?" he suggested, before strolling off to head to his wing of the school. Within his dorm, which was still empty with his dormmates enjoying the festival, he went to his little section of the room that housed his bed. Carefully, he placed all three plants onto it, pushing them so they were in the center and safe. Next came the goodies from his stocking which he also dumped out on to his bed. There... already for another round of gathering!
Walking back to the meeting point, he patiently waited for Eilwen, toying with the fluff on his stocking, his petite wings flitting lightly as if to an imaginary beat, mimicking his good mood.

Silas gave a few more meek nods in assurance to his offer to help, peeking around the other freshling to also see the other booths. They were quite enticing... and there was plenty more that he himself would like the chance to get his hands on.
Slowly, he too started to stand. But staring down at his fully arms, and his nearly stuffed stocking, he turned to gently place them down in the dark corner he'd retreated to. Tucking them all safely into it, fussing perhaps much longer than the normal child would to get them all aligned and neat, he gently smoothed out his shirt and returned his attentions to Caper. How to get the bird... Blinking to the sky to see if it might be flittering about, he nervously fiddled his fingers together, "m-maybe....if... w-we get some food... to draw it close...?" animals liked food, and there were some snacks at a few of the booths.
The gamekeeper's stare didn't seem to bother the chimera too much. But the thought that she was challenging another's authority or breaking some unspoken rule had her agreeing with the hybrid's suggestion to leave.
"That sounds ideal," she nodded, barely managing to keep her own plushie away from the familiar's gnawing habit. She studied the one Batholith had gotten and the chimera couldn't help but remark, "Odd how this doll's design looks so unamused. And even odder how it's so reminiscent of certain nightmares."
Whether she was referring to someone she knew personally or in general, well, that was up to Batholith to decide.

It had been a hard blow to Charmstar's ego the first time he realized he couldn't charm everyone with his sugary-sweet flirtations and adowable speech impediment. Malachi's abrupt deparute and Hailey's rejection to hold his hand had the white-haired fallen's eyes sting with tears of frustration. He inclined his head forward, letting his bangs fall into his eyes to hide this fact while forcing a smile to remain plastered on his face, Not here. Not now, he scolded himself, trying to will his bruised ego into submission
Luckily, Nikora came over to join him and the fallen immediately brightened, the tears stopped almost instantly and his wings spread open behind him in greeting. "Yes! I got a plushie and lots of candy! My cawetakew's got 'em. How about you? Awe you having fun?"
He didn't expect the pink fallen and the silvery geist to return so quickly (or at all really) and was pleasantly surprised. "Welcome back!" he said, "Evewything okay between you two?"

Ami gave the daydream a your loss sort of shrug about the plant, but the chimera just as easily nodded in approval at the plushie. "I like~ brights a lot," she said, holding out her plushie in comparison. "But I like blues too~ Especially light blues with bits of white. They remind me of the sky~" Her expression was one of happiness as she raised a hand to gesture skywards.

Aeon smiled "Kinda hard for me to dislike blue, since I am blue as she so pointed out" Aeon laughed, then she turned to Ami and said "What is the academy like?? This is my first time being in this area and I was just wondering if the school was nice. Do you know if they have a good music program??"
Heading back to the music, Ziron found themselves being given a candy cane, receiving it with gladness. Everyone was just so nice, and they quite liked it. Maybe there was a way for them to give something to someone else?

It was now his turn to play the game, stepping up to the counter and being handed some cotton balls. They were so cold! They had to have some sort of spell on them. He had to hit the snowmen and to knock as many of them over as he could. By the end he had knocked own ten of the fifteen possible. For his prize he ended up with a bucket of said cotton balls and a HUGE plushie. That was something to be happy about right?

Coming to one of the display booths, Yihad made hus way around it and looked everything over. It was a booth on the history of this holiday, and what made today extra special. While looking around, hu was handed a pair of antlers to wear. Huh... what an interesting accessory. Hu had seen others wearing it, but hu was not going to.

Helping his new familiar to stay warm and dry, Vivek began to make his way to some more food places. One booth seemed to be giving out free samples, Vivek heading up to the counter and looking at what was available. It looked to be some sort of candy. Before long he found himself being gifted a bag full of what the booth owner said was peppermint bark. So it was peppermint? He would have to sit down and try it.

After winning yet another plant, Somansh looked behind her to see a wisp following her, quickly catching up and refusing to leave her side. Did this one want to come home with her as well? She wasn't against it, and why not? Familiars were always welcomed by her. Not only that, but it was a very nice shade of red!

Skipping along the pathway, the freshling was soon stopped and handed a book by what looked to be a librarian, her just standing there confused as the librarian rushed off. Why was she given this book? Weren't books supposed to be checked out from the library and returned? Why was she just handed this book without checking it out?

Coralie watched as the librarian nightmare she had seen earlier handed a little freshling imp a book, seeing how the little one seemed very confused by it. Before she could ask what was the matter though, Coralie found herself being gifted a book, becoming confused as well. Daylight? What kind of book was that? It better not have sparkly litches in it or something.
As the nixie made her way through the fairgrounds, she felt as if something was watching her, turning to see a little wisp. Well, it it kept following her to the point it came to her house, them she would see if it was possible to keep it.

Making her way from booth to booth, Aqua'glow tried to get a sense of those she came across, a few of the booth owners giving her a few items as she did so. The two main items she received was a pair of earring she decided to put on, and another plusie that was bigger than the last. Why was everyone in such a great giving mood today? Weren't they losing profits?
Browsing some of the merchant booths, Kyleigh spotted a pair of earrings to go with her new bracelet. They were super cute, and would jingle every time she shook her head. The noise made her giggle softly and put her in a more festive mood.

"Oh, no! How could you have fun if you're cooped up in your dorm?" she giggled. That was just silly! Bibi was almost never in her dorm, unless she was doing homework. She could make friends in her dorm room! Well, aside from the multitudes of plushies she had, but others tend to look at you weird when you're a junior who talks to her plushies. When he asked what games she wanted to play, she hooked one of her arms around his and pulled him toward the games booths. "Hmm...this one looks like fun!" she said as she stopped at a booth where the point of the game was to knock over a tower of bottles with a ball. "Wanna give it a go?" she asked Cyril brightly.
When the antlers were placed on Cyril's head, she giggled and clapped. "They're so cute!! You should totally wear them for the rest of the night!" Getting a bit distracted, Bibi grabbed a bucket of indoor snowballs and then tossed one in Cyril's direction, giggling.

Stretching his other hand out, Aellys smiled when the flitterat hopped up and then settled onto his shoulder.

Dec 28- When I added the roleplay posts, I changed Rhiannon’s prize from the peanut brittle to a book, to be consistent with the roleplay location.
Edel took note of the Rhian’s concern for her bracelet. As she was looked to for assistance, Edel immediately got to work on trying to entice the kidden away from the bracelet with her purple candy canes. With some coaxing, she was finally able to make the two of them part, while also withdrawing her candycanes away from the kidden’s grasp. As the little familiar got up on its hind legs, trying to reach for the candy, the booth staff managed to slip a small collar and leash on the kidden, making moving it around a little more manageable. “There”, Edel said triumphantly. Then, she suddenly recalled her stocking and snatched it back up from the ground, making sure that it wouldn’t be the kidden’s next victim. She looked at the kidden curiously though, which was currently struggling to be released from its leash. While the little creature seemed to be a handful, she thought that it was still cute none-the-less. Before considering checking the familiar booth though, she spotted a library booth where librarians were passing out books. In her enthusiasm, She almost set off to grab another book, when she remembered her manners. “Uh… See you later Rhian.”, she said in a hushed but enthused tone. Then off she went for the booth. She smiled as she recognized the book as a fairy tale, one of her favorites.
Rhiannon was relieved as the kidden released its grip. She checked to see if her bracelet was damaged, as well as quickly glancing at her stocking for any holes. Thankfully no major signs of kidden bites were found... surprisingly. But then before she knew it, the kidden was leashed, and she was given the handle. No! She didn’t want to be responsible for this thing! She turned her attention to the baphomet girl said her goodbyes, distracted another booth it seemed. “Thanks…”, Rhiann said, trailing off as she figured that it was futile to say anything when the girl probably couldn’t hear her. Then, she got an idea. “Ah, wait!”, she exclaimed out to the girl, almost dragging the kidden behind them, making their way to the library booth as well. Thankfully the girl was distracted by her newly acquired book, buying Rhian time to catch up with her. “Hey, do you want to take this off my hands?”, Rhian inquired, holding the kidden’s leash out towards her. The Baphomet girl smiled widely. “Really?!”, she exclaimed. Rhian gestured the handle toward the girl again, insisting. She gladly took the handle, she seemed like she could barely contain her excitement. “Oh! Then here…” she said, reaching into her stocking, she got out the bundle of candycanes that she got before. “Let's consider it a trade.” ”Okay”, Rhiannon replied with a smile, gladly accepting the candy canes and putting them into her stocking.
Noticing the two conversing, another librarian came up to the two freshlings, offering Rhiannon a book as well. She saw no reason to refuse the book, though she didn’t consider herself much of the reading type. As the librarian put the book in her hand, she looked at it curiously. She recognized the title from the holiday specials and movies that ran on tv... it was based on a book?!
Vüsala was glad when Kanda decided that the next place they were going to stop at was a long table filled with all the odds and ends needed to make a beaded bracelet. She sat down first, careful of her tails, and then patted the seat beside her. Carefully, and with great precision, Vüsala set each of the three plush toys down on the bench to one side of her before taking a seat on her other side.
The long table full of beads and sting to make bracelets was practically calling her name. Kanda was sure that even Vüsala could hear it. So without even thinking about it, she headed towards it and took a seat. Patting beside it, she smiled at her father to encourage him to sit down. The row of plushies next to her made her giggle, but she was careful to pay attention to how her dad showed her to make a bracelet.
Just as she started to get the hang of it, someone bumped one of their plushies off the bench and onto the ground behind it. Dropping her work, she hopped down and picked it up. A quick moment, brushing off the dirt, and it was ready to be set back into it's place. The grimm set it back with care and hopped back onto the bench.
Since she'd dropped the beginnings of her bracelet, all the beads had scattered around. Vüsala had tried to contain them, but they were still a mess. Drooping a bit, she started over. Before long, someone else bumped a plushie off and the process was repeated. The third time it happened, she felt she was never going to get to finish her bracelet.
Vüsala took in Kanda's expression and got up. "I'll sit on the other side and keep them safe," he said quietly, doing exactly as he said. Now that she was no longer having to get up and down, it didn't take much time before she had finished making a bracelet for herself. To his surprise, Vüsala was presented with a nearly identical one. He gave her a warm smile before slipping it on, touched she had made him one as well without him realizing it.
"I think we might need to make a trip back to the apartment! I'm not sure we're gonna be able to carry all this stuff!" Miah said with a grin as she cradled close her newest prize--an oversized Kidden plush, which she decorated with the small purple beaded bracelet, which worked well as a necklace for the plushie.

As the demoness ventured around, she seemed to begin to relax, coming down from her excitement about the holiday. As she wandered about, she eventually found her way to another one of the small booths where she was able to find herself some peppermint bark, a rather sweet little addition to all of her "loot" so far.
Feeling so much better now that Malachi was back with her and he wasn't mad or anything anymore, Hailey felt happier meeting back up with the weird flirty kid and his friend. They both seemed nice -- though that other Fallen kid really tried too hard to lay on the charm -- and maybe they could all go play festival games or something together. Grinning as she dragged her bestie next to her side, holding his hand hostage, she beamed a pleased smile. "Yup! We're all good~ Sorry about taking off you guys."
Oh drat... Hailey was dragging him into being social! It was one thing for her to drag him all over the festival herself, but having to be social? Gack. All the same, the fact that she wouldn't let go of his hand made him insanely happy -- even if it meant he was trapped in social land. Head hanging some, he peered out from behind his bangs, scratching his cheek lightly with his free hand -- thank goodness for backpacks and hoops on stockings -- and spoke softly. "Sorry for... uhmm... taking off like that. I didn't mean to be rude." Then, much to his own surprise, he asked them a question. "Do you guys want to go play some games... uhmm... together?"
Hailey was pleased as punch that Khai wasn't trying to run away, but the moment he asked them if they wanted to go play games... well that was shocking! She grinned widely, proud of her friend for attempting to be social, and gave his hand an encouraging squeeze. "I totally saw a hoops game when I went to find Khai. Maybe we could get some friend competition going on here. Heehee... Oh! Unless you two had your own plans..." Oops! She hadn't thought about that before!

And then his attention was caught by something shiny and fluffy right behind Eileen. Before she could comment on his antlers, he took off to snitch it up. Oh yes. An item of pure hilarity. A boa. As much as he loved playing the festival games, he was also pretty happy about there being stuff you could just buy outright! Quickly paying up, Dodger snatched the fuzzy object of his momentary affections and delight, then dashed back up behind his girl, laughing as he draped it over himself. "Whatcha think, babe? Doesn't it just bring out the color of my eyes?" but then he was already fluffy in the neck as well. "or does it make my neck look fat?" he asked, trying his best to give one of those model pouts.

Although Bobbi tried, there was just no finding the owner that xe thought belonged to this little noisy ball of fluff. Taking care of a bird was one thing, but a dog was another all together. Sighing and struggling with an inward debate, Bobbi decided to at least keep the little animal with xyr until something could be done or someone could be found. Setting it on the ground, Bobbi patted xyr leg and started to walk, being sure to check on if the dog was following or not. When Bobbi was certain it was, it was off to hunt for another book.
And as luck would have it, right down the way was another stand with odds and ends, but books as well. Taking up a strange and unfamiliar book in hand, Bobbi puzzled over if xe should try reading it or not... it seemed like a Academy age book. With a shrug, the need to collect another book outweighed the chance that it might be a terrible tween to teen book. Paying out the tickets it costed, Bobbi slid it into the bag, then patted xyr leg again before starting to walk again. Hmmm... It was surprising at how well the little dog followed.
The last thing that Paladin had expected to be carrying around the festival was what amounted to a smol, toothy birb. Yet, here he was, holding a cockatriel close and stoicly accepting the fact that his fingers were now chew toys.
Of course, he didn't think he was being chewed out of malice. His new pet instead seemed to think that this was how it was supposed to show love. Still, the grimm was fond of his fingers and preferred to keep them in one piece. Which meant that before he left the festival, he was going to have to find something else for the cockatriel to chew.
This was a strange group of people she'd fallen in with, Ustule could tell...but then again, she thought, maybe that wasn't entirely a bad thing. She followed the rest of them, prepared to help Histeol--Teo--along. But it seemed the winged boy didn't need help. He was actually pretty confident at weaving through the crowds. The spectrefox seemed only to help things out.
Her turn came after Prometheus's. She nodded to the Chimera who held out a box to her. She reached in and felt the object. It was scratchy and a little itchy, with nearly sharp edges... She thought about it for a while. She wasn't very good at guessing games like this, she realized. It was a Rot thing, she supposed. "Eet ees...a ball of tinsel? No, I take it beck--eet ees a ball of foil. Mahch stiffer." She looked up at the adult, who grinned and nodded. Ustule gave her a smile and selected a book as her prize. Dark alchemy, huh? She wanted to know what a Demon would consider "dark..." Suddenly, something struck her in the back of the head. What the--?! Was that a plushie?! Who threw plushies?! "Stop thet!" she shouted out loud.
Perigor turned in response to Ustule's shout, just in time to catch an orange cat whizzing past in one hand. "It's the engineering club from Leviathan," he said with a shrug. "They come just about every other year or so to fire plushies at people. It's an air-compression gun--a smaller version can be used to fire fricking potatoes at people. But last time they did it, the old headmistress banned them from campus for a year." He shrugged. "It was an exciting time."
His turn was next for the feeling box, but he didn't do nearly so well. It was something round and hard, but kind of rubbery. "Rubber ball?"
The Chimera shook her head. "Nope, sorry. Heeeeeeey, I think I recognize you!" She held out the box for Teo. "What do you think it is?"
Peri sighed. And after the first two had done so well, too... oh well. He contented himself with the pair of earrings clipped onto the cat toy.
Histeol liked the adult who ran this game. She seemed very sweet, and it was obvious how enthusiastic she was for the games. He was glad to hear her here again. They needed more games like this. Of course, Teo was biased...
His friends seemed to be doing well, at least. There was someone shooting plushies at them all over the place, which was actually rather distracting. He sighed. None of them had hit him, which was sort of disappointing. He was still young. He loved plushies. He didn't think he'd ever outgrow them. Ah, well. He reached his hand in the box and felt the rubbery object inside. Definitely a sphere...but the wrong consistency for a ball. And the outside...peeled? "It's a brussel sprout, isn't it?" he said.
"It is indeed! Would you like some peppermint bark?"

Alright, there was a lot that Chries was willing to do in the interest of stringing Ganymede along. He was willing to spend time with a couple of peers that were compensating for something and coming up with annoying pet names for each other. He was willing to spend an afternoon trying to outwit someone who wasn't trying. He was willing, even, to maybe even kiss Ganymede. But a "reading date"? No. Just... No. Chries was of the opinion that reading should be a private affair. If it could be done in the presence of other Nightmares, then those Nightmares should be quiet ones. He had the sneaking suspicion that Foras and Alioth would spend an entire "reading date" just making googly eyes at each other and talking too darn much.
He smiled and shook his head as he threw the next dart. "No thank you, Alioth," he said. "A cocoa date is more my style, I think. Or a visit to a museum." He looked over at Gany to smile and noticed him offering a goat. Gany's smile was...well, it was existent. It was not something he'd ever expected before. He was actually just a little endearing with that smile... No. Chries forced himself to remember--Gany was the one who thought that someone should be punished for talking to him if he didn't talk to them first. This was a game the Imp was playing. A cruel one, but one that taught a lesson Ganymede needed to learn. Chries gave Gany a big smile and held out the stuffed animal that he'd just won. "And this one looks like you. Would you like to trade?"

Jurvik blushed until he realized that the "honey" had been directed at Xeno. Still, his heart was still thudding in his chest. "I was hoping I could meet Leif today. Maybe later. Well, I know I'm enjoying myself! We got our tree yesterday, just a little one, and we've been helping our landlady bake cookies. Today my band and I are playing for--" Oh crap. When were they playing? He looked at his watch and made a face. "Um, we're playing a set at three, but we've got another practice in about fifteen minutes." He made a face. He wanted to stay and talk to Corben...but he couldn't let the band down. "Um..." he leaned forward to murmur to Corben, "I'd love to get together with you later today--maybe hang out, I could meet Leif? And maybe..." Oh, in for a star, in for a crown. "...Maybe we could get dinner later? But I've got to scurry off now." He looked down at Xenophon. "It's time for practice. Would you like to stay with me, or would you like to hang out here with Corben?"
Wait, Dad had met Mr. Datura? When? But that did explain why he wanted Xeno to take herbology. That is, it would have explained things if this was a movie or a book. In movies and in books, parents did that when they wanted to introduce their kid to a potential boyfriend or something. Was Dad trying to go out with Mr. Datura? And, most importantly, did Xeno approve of this? He looked up at Mr. Datura. He was...nice. He was energetic. He loved sharing things. He was a little bit pushy, and sometimes he could be too enthusiastic.
But then again, that's exactly what Xeno had said about Dad when they first met. So did it really matter? He seemed like a good match for Dad, after all... I'll see what I think of Leif. And maybe what I think of Mr. Datura. And what Dad does--after all, that stuff only happens in movies. He took his new plant tenderly in his hands and picked out a stuffed seal and a pair of earrings from someone who was handing things out. "Thank you, Mr. Datura. Um...I don't know...I'd like to see more of the festival, Dad. But, um, I'd like to spend more time with you..."

Was Mytrax talking about him? Bath narrowed his eyes. No...probably not. They didn't know each other well enough for that. If anything, she'd been acting far grumpier than he had since they met. So who was it a jab at? Herself? Her roommate? Did she have a super grumpy roommate? How did one react in this situation, anyway? In this situation at Academy, that is. Obviously not how he would have reacted in the past... He decided to flash her a grin. "Awwwww, no way. I look way grumpier than the cat does!" Running with it seemed like the best option. Don't get offended by the joke--own the joke.
Bath looked around for another game and pointed towards it. "Looks like just the game for us, eh?" It was a test of strength game--perfect for a couple of fighters like the pair of them. He set his prizes down next to the booth and picked up the hammer. He gave it an experimental slam, and grinned when the lit bar hit the top. He collected a prize from the booth attendant--another darn plushie. This one, though, reminded him of his cat...maybe he would keep it... He turned to Mytrax. "Beat that!"

What was the point in passing one up a prize for games? Zey picked out the duck race game. Pick two rubber ducks out of a bucket of water and if the symbols on their undersides matched, zey would win a prize. That seemed simple enough. Zey plucked out a yellow one and an orange one, just for luck. Zey were rewarded with a pair of triangles. Zey smiled and picked out as prizes yet another book and a stuffed kidden. Zey had a soft spot for stuffed goats, it would seem, since they had so many of them!
Well, the party seemed to be in full swing here! She wondered if the Nightmares put on a bash like this every year, or whether this year was just special. Ah, well. She shrugged and made her way through the crowds, looking for a fun game to play. She set her sights on a reflex game. A light bulb was set in front of a button; the bulb would blink on and off randomly. The trick was to hit the button whenever the light came on, before it turned back off again. She didn't do well on that game, but hey, she did well enough to earn a consolation prize. She wrapped the gold boa around herself and looked for the next game.
There were other games to play here and there, with a variety of different skill sets on display. Most games, admittedly, didn't require any talking, so it wasn't like Wyrdda was especially inconvenienced by most of them. But she still liked a game in which the attendant was actually paying attention instead of chatting with friends. Wyrdda found a matching card game and started flipping over cards. Unfortunately, only two of the cards matched--which earned her a pair of earrings. She picked the gold pair--hey, she had a theme!--and asked for another try via a pre-made card. She'd known that she would need something like that for a festival...

The little Geist waited, not impatient in the slightest despite the looming situation. Evan always told him to wait and be polite, and Silas seemed to care for their things a great deal. "Food!" Caper echoed brightly, clapping his hands against his stomach. "I think birds eat food." He smiled before offering Silas a hand to hold without second thought. "I think I saw a table with some foods before! Maybe we can grab some for ourselves too."

The gamekeeper's stare didn't seem to bother the chimera too much. But the thought that she was challenging another's authority or breaking some unspoken rule had her agreeing with the hybrid's suggestion to leave. 
Aeon smiled "Kinda hard for me to dislike blue, since I am blue as she so pointed out" Aeon laughed, then she turned to Ami and said "What is the academy like?? This is my first time being in this area and I was just wondering if the school was nice. Do you know if they have a good music program??" 
Heading back to the music, Ziron found themselves being given a candy cane, receiving it with gladness. Everyone was just so nice, and they quite liked it. Maybe there was a way for them to give something to someone else?
Sitting still and eating, Candy and Phyre were given a few more items, Candy receiving a pair of antlers and putting them on to help Phyre to smile a bit more. She was sure that having a new little brother had caused her to be upset with her somehow. However, she wanted Phyre to know that she still cared about her 
Putting her boa on, Phyre looked down at it and smiled. She looked pretty today. Her little wing fluttered some, looking up at Candy and giggling at how silly she was being. She had an amazing mother. Perhaps she could be a good big sister if Candy was there to help her? 
It was now his turn to play the game, stepping up to the counter and being handed some cotton balls. They were so cold! They had to have some sort of spell on them. He had to hit the snowmen and to knock as many of them over as he could. By the end he had knocked own ten of the fifteen possible. For his prize he ended up with a bucket of said cotton balls and a HUGE plushie. That was something to be happy about right?
Coming to one of the display booths, Yihad made hus way around it and looked everything over. It was a booth on the history of this holiday, and what made today extra special. While looking around, hu was handed a pair of antlers to wear. Huh... what an interesting accessory. Hu had seen others wearing it, but hu was not going to.
Helping his new familiar to stay warm and dry, Vivek began to make his way to some more food places. One booth seemed to be giving out free samples, Vivek heading up to the counter and looking at what was available. It looked to be some sort of candy. Before long he found himself being gifted a bag full of what the booth owner said was peppermint bark. So it was peppermint? He would have to sit down and try it.
After winning yet another plant, Somansh looked behind her to see a wisp following her, quickly catching up and refusing to leave her side. Did this one want to come home with her as well? She wasn't against it, and why not? Familiars were always welcomed by her. Not only that, but it was a very nice shade of red!
Skipping along the pathway, the freshling was soon stopped and handed a book by what looked to be a librarian, her just standing there confused as the librarian rushed off. Why was she given this book? Weren't books supposed to be checked out from the library and returned? Why was she just handed this book without checking it out?
Coralie watched as the librarian nightmare she had seen earlier handed a little freshling imp a book, seeing how the little one seemed very confused by it. Before she could ask what was the matter though, Coralie found herself being gifted a book, becoming confused as well. Daylight? What kind of book was that? It better not have sparkly litches in it or something.
Making her way from booth to booth, Aqua'glow tried to get a sense of those she came across, a few of the booth owners giving her a few items as she did so. The two main items she received was a pair of earring she decided to put on, and another plusie that was bigger than the last. Why was everyone in such a great giving mood today? Weren't they losing profits?

The last thing that Paladin had expected to be carrying around the festival was what amounted to a smol, toothy birb. Yet, here he was, holding a cockatriel close and stoicly accepting the fact that his fingers were now chew toys.
