"Oh! That reminds me, I, um, got you something?" Cyril started out strong but his voice petered out. Trying not to drop the flitterrat, he groped about in his stocking. He'd grabbed a bracelet for her at one of the stalls. "I, um, wasn't sure if you had one like this already, but I thought you might like it? If not, that's okay too. . . " Now that he thought about it, she probably had one like it already and she wouldn't want another. His bio-luminescent spots flickered with mingled embarrassment and worry, mingling with the pink glow from the necklace someone draped around his neck.

Halfway to the cannons, Ares got a plant shoved into his hand. He made a surprised noise, glancing at it. It wasn’t that he didn’t like plants, but he wasn’t the best with them. The plants his roommate had were bad enough. He’d watered the thing twice and somehow managed to kill it. Setting the plant aside, he ignored it as he loaded a cannon. Several launched plushes later, he looked over to see a green kidden nibbling the plant. “H-Hey! Don’t do that!” he stammered, snatching the plant away. The kidden looked hopefully at him, trotting forward to nibble at his clothes.

A stall a little way down was letting nightmares make their own bracelets, so Jeanine sat down to do one of those. Beads weren't something she normally did, but they were bright and colorful and she would enjoy wearing the bracelets later in class. A wayward plush left at the table got claimed by her as well.

Wandering around further got Maeva a bundle of candy canes. The festival was in it's last legs, everything slowly winding down. There were still a couple games to play, and stalls open and selling things, but it was getting late. Most of the nightmares with little ones were heading home. Maeva ducked around one corner and let out a soft oof as something ran right into her chest. Surprised, she grabbed the thing before it could fall, realizing at the last second that it was one of the fluffbugs that the fey had brought with them.
After being gone about twenty minutes or so, the now happily contented Hailey made her way back to where she had left Malachi. And not-so-surprisingly enough, he was still there. "I'm back, Khai!" she said happily as she bounded right over to him, locking arms. A pout took over her face and she bumped her shoulder into his lightly. "Sorry for getting cranky with you. Forgive me?" she asked, batting her eyes at him for patheticness emphasis.
Malachi smiled at the return of his friend, happy when she seemed to be in a much better mood now that she had something to eat. "It's okay, Hailey. I know how you get." The Fallen offered a smile to reassure her that everything was fine. And when she gave his cheek a kiss, Malachi blushed. "H... Haileeeey!" he squeaked out. The poor little guy wriggled some, before taking a step and giving her arm a tug. "Wanna go play a game? We don't have a lot of time left before everything closes..."
Dodger lived it up as the ball booth for a good while. It was to the point where there were some others waiting behind him to have a turn to play and they were not happy about the wait. When the guy running it made a facial gesture, Dodger turned about and laughed a bit as he scratched the back of his head. "Oops! Sorry about that you guys! I get way too into the games for my own good." With a sheepish grin on his face, the Grimm gathered up is purse puppy and got out of there quick. "Hey you!" he whispered to the pooch. "Why didn'tcha tell me there were a million kids waiting for a turn?" Smirking, he gave the fluffy pup another piece of brittle and tried to figure out where he wanted to spend the last bit of the festival.
Unable to help xemself, Bobbi had decided that xe and Marshmallow should go and enjoy people watching on the bench again. It was just something the Litch truly enjoyed. It was far too fascinating to see how others went about their ways, especially during festivities such as these. With a small, yet genuine smile, Bobbi had settled onto the bench with the little Fuzzbug, petting it gently as they watched a Grimm over across the way fretting about something. And there was a few adorable Freshlings that had just won a game and were celebrating together with cheers and excitement. There wasn't much time left, and this is how Bobbi wanted to finish enjoying the festival.
"You couldn't and I like that~ You're off the hook, but you're still a perv~.. and in front of all these children at that! Tisk tisk!" Grinning, he pet the adorable ball of fluff in his hold while Ryker readied HIS BODY! himself to destroy the game. Matty snickered and giggled in amusement at the deliberate poses that were made for his entertainment. The first miss made him laugh. There were some remarks floating about that mind of his, but he decided to keep them to himself for the moment. And then the next miss. There was a painfully obvious expression on his face that was him trying to keep from teasing. And then there was more missing and utter failure. With a smirk worn on his face, the Goblin stepped up beside the Grimm, giving him a playful pat on the butt. "Baby... I think you need to talk to your momma about what she gave yah and see about gettin' a refund. Heehee~"
Though the hit to his head had been a semi-sobering event, Exodus was still feeling quite wired. The poor guy was at a loss of what to do with himself, especially since he had to sit and do nothing for a while. Not that it was a problem on the norm, but he wasn't allowed to read any of his books while they were making sure he was okay. Now that he could be on the up and about, there wasn't a whole lot he could be doing now. Things were slowly beginning to wrap up. Maybe, just maybe, the demon would have a chance to get something before everything was done.
My, my, I got all this food but nothing to drink, Chessy thought to herself. Heading back to the food vendor, she noticed a cluster of hot cocoa drinks. Grabbing one, she took a long chug, gulping it down. Glancing to the side at the one in charge of the vendor, she noticed they weren't paying attention and slipped the empty mug into her stocking. She wasn't sure if they were for taking, but she would like to keep it - it would be a nice memento. She thought about it and decided she wanted a plushie as well. Maybe to give to a freshling that was eager for one. Skipping over to the vendor, she looked at the cute stuffed plushes, and grabbed a cute red-and-white one.
Still sporting his new companion, he tottered over to the books, deciding he might want another book to leaf through during his free time. As he reached the librarian's stand, the mouse skittered over a book titled, "The Goblet of Secrets." Picking it up, he opened it to a random page and immediately zoned in on a sentence mentioning one of the protagonist's friend's pet rodent. "It's like you knew about it already," he said quietly. Tucking it under his arm, he strolled away with the book, looking for something else to do.
"Oooh! Alis, look at these! More plushies!" the imp said with a grin, pulling the baphomet up to one of the remaining booths. "I think I have enough plushies for myself, buuut... I could get one... for... the future..." she said quietly, a small smile sliding over her lips soon after.

"Not a bad idea, I guess," the baphomet agreed, nodding as they looked over the remaining plushies, smiling at one of the small baphomet dolls. "Oh... well. It's blue. Light blue, but still blue. I need it." they said simply, looking up as they waited their turn in the game.
"We were actually starting to make our way out of here. What 'bout you, Aeri? You just get here, or was I just being blind this whole time?" the demon asked, her head canting to the side.

For the moment, Braelyn didn't seem to hear the two, far too distracted by the small plushie she had gotten. A smile curled on her lips as she gently toyed with the plushie's little tail, humming softly.
This would no doubt be a perfect gift for a random Freshling... Right?

"Oh, I only just got here, but I never intended on staying for very long to begin with. I wouldn't mind walking you ladies out," the geist said with a chuckle, turning to face towards the front, only to pause as a young flying freshling went wizzing by, slowing only long enough to slip a pair of antlers over the geist's head, making Aerilon chuckle softly.
"Cerys! Look!" the fey turned with a gasp, a wide smile breaking over her lips as she clutched her newest plushie to her chest, cuddling it as she stared up at the bright lights in the sky that seemed to only add to the atmosphere outside the academy. The lights that decorated the campus blended in so beautifully with the natural scenery of the world around them, making the fey squee with delight. "It's so pretty!"

The geimera blinked, turning around to look up at the twinkling night sky. She gave a gentle smile then, nodding as she cuddled her own plush as she moved to stand beside the fey. "I wonder if they'll do fireworks... or something."

While so many other people seemed content to gush over the last few minutes of the festival, Lilianne seemed content instead to sit off to the side, thumbing slowly through a book she had found, left abandoned somewhere off to the side.
Okay, she was very late, but that was not her fault. It was entirely the fault of the holiday traffic, but that didn't make it easier for the young Nixie. Once she finally reached the academy, Naedia let out a soft sigh, gazing around slowly as if looking for something. Silently, she began to slowly make her way around, humming quietly to herself, only to pause, looking towards a near-by booth.
A rather small smile slipped over her lips as she scurried over, hopping up onto one of the small stools to get a better look at the sparkling bulb necklaces.
Valerian didn't know whether to curl further toward the tree or try and lean against Viveka. His sister was exactly what Viveka said, a big stupid bully! ... Well, Viveka hadn't said she was big or stupid, but she was certainly a bully if he'd ever seen one! She was always being mean and saying bad things about him, why didn't he see this sooner? He was never going to listen to her ever again! The little hybrid puffed out his cheeks and let out an exasperated sigh.
"No, my daddy is super nice, he'd just... Say he was disappointed in me for punching Dahlia." He said, folding his arms. "But, yeah, Dahlia is a big bully! She's always telling on me and making me feel bad for having fun! I hate it, it makes me feel like I can't do anything but sit still when she's around!"
Oh, how Dahlia wanted to storm off and tell her daddy everything right then and there, but he was probably still home resting. He couldn't do anything about Valerian from there and it was so annoying! She wanted Valerian to get in trouble right now and make him pay for punching her! He was so lucky that she was a lady and never threw punches, or else he would have a big bruise on his face, too! She growled, folded her arms, and wandered over to play a game.
"Aw, come on! You didn't say I had to knock down all the pins!" She shouted, stamping her foot. "I want a retry! That wasn't fair! Retry, retry, retry!"
She continued to throw a tantrum until a hand pressed itself firmly against her shoulder. Stunned, she looked up to see who it was and gasped.
"Daddy! No, you don't understand, wait!" She cried, pulling against Sascha's hand. "Valerian was super bad, you have to listen to me! He hit me and ran away a bunch! It's not my fault, daddy!"
