With the biggest grin, Hailey flopped on the floor, not caring that the contents of her bucket had now been flung about the room. The little Geist couldn't be happier right now if she tried. With a giggle, she rolled over on her stomach and kicked her feet up in the air as she reached for a piece of candy near her reach. "Khaiiiii! I had so much fun! And look at all this loot!" Peering up toward her best friend, she beamed him the biggest smile her little face could muster... It actually almost hurt her little cheeks! With a grunt Hailey rolled herself over a couple times, then pushed up to a sitting position, the piece of candy finding it's way into her mouth. "MMMMM! His is ho hood!" she said with her mouth full.

Malachi watched, eyes growing wider, as Hailey just flopped on the floor. He even had to do a little dance about to avoid being hit by a few stray pieces of candy flying straight at him. The poor little Fallen got beaned with a bag of Chocolate Skulls, but at least it wasn't the gummy poos. Shudder. Setting his own bucket down, Malachi started walking about the room, picking up some of the candies that were now strewn about. Even though he still had to pick up after his best friend, he couldn't help giving a smile. He had to agree. He had a lot of fun as well. Giving a small sniffle, Malachi made his way over to Hailey's bucket and tipped it upright as best he could, letting the gathered candies fall back in.

Hailey couldn't help but giggle some at the fact that poor Malachi was a victim of a hit and run candy accident, choking a little as she finished her candy in her mouth and tried to hide it as she coughed a couple times. She grabbed up one of her new plushies, covering her mouth as best she could to try and hide. After she knew she was in the clear, Hailey flopped on her back, cuddling the plushy as she thought to herself for a moment. "Heh... Hey Khai." she started. "I... errr... Your mom is pretty cool. The way she handled all those familiars was pretty awesome!" She had to give the lady props. Juggling all the little critters that she and Malachi had found couldn't have been easy. Apparently it was still some trouble since all their new pets hadn't been dropped off to their room just yet. "Hmmmm...."

Ears perked up as Hailey spoke, Malachi listened, quiet as always as she spoke. It warmed his heart so much to know that his best friend liked his new mom. She was really awesome. Malachi looked down at his friend on the floor, and simply, quietly, sat down beside her before laying down next to her. It was a little uncomfortable at first because of his wings, but after a little shifting about he was able to get comfortable. The questioning tone she had in that last little noise made him wonder what her mind was thinking on now... knowing her it could be anything. With a soft tone, Malachi spoke to her. "We should hang our paper ghosts up tomorrow." They were really so cute and one of his favorite things, raisins aside, that he had gotten from the night. Well, his bracelet from Hailey was tops to him, but that was without saying for the little Geist as he let his little fingers run over the pumpkins, smiling to himself.

Trapt in her own little world, Hailey heard a soft voice speaking to her, but it seemed to take a little longer for her brain to process what was being said. "Huh? Oh! Totally!" she said excitedly, lifting her hands and kicking her feet up in the air. "We're gonna have to figure out where all our familiars are going to sleep, too!" A small problem for them. They were recently allowed to become roommates, so one Aetherjelly, two Vespercats, one Spectrefox, a Pumpka, Flitterat, and Nuzbat were going to have to room with two little Freshlings. Pictures of all of them squished together in their room made Hailey giggle. Granted, their room was pretty spacious for the most part, but the imagination of the little Geist always got the better of and amused her greatly. Letting her hold on the plush go, Hailey squished her hands on her cheeks and giggled more. "He're all honna he hished hike hiss!"

Malachi gave a small laugh in amusement when it took his friend a few moments to get the gears in her head going again in regards to what he said. He was really happy when she got all excited for his idea. Giving his best effort, while still laying on the floor, he looked about for ideas on where he could hang his paper ghost. Maybe by his bed. That could be a good spot. But when the subject turned from decorating to all of them squishing into one room, coupled with Hailey's goofy antics, Malachi couldn't help laughing. The face she had made, along with the the way she tried to talk was just too much! As he laughed, Malachi also put his little hands on his cheeks, squishing them together and making a funny face. If one was going to be squished, this was the way to do it! Your best friend and lots of animals!

Turning her head, Hailey was shocked to see what she saw, and burst out laughing! Malachi wasn't usually such a goofball like this, so it was too funny! Bouncing up, she leaned over and placed her own hands on his to squish his cheeks even more! She couldn't help herself when she did that. And when his lips were squishy extendo-lips, the little Geist just lost it, howling out in laughter as she fell back on the floor and held her stomach! She hadn't laughed this hard in so long that it hurt! "Oh gosh! Ahhahaouch! I. Can't. Stop. Laughing!" Hailey chocked out through tears and continued laughter!... That is until she felt the eyes of an adult on her. Sputtering, she shot up into a sitting position. Hailey still held her arms across her stomach because it was still killing her from laughing like she did, and bit her lip some to try and stop giggling. Malachi's mom was there, staring at the Freshlings while buried under a ton of familiars. The sight made Hailey crack up all over again.

There was just a loss for words as Hailey squished Malachi's cheeks. Not that it was a point where he could really say anything anyways, but then when his best friend lost it, Malachi sat up and watched with wide eyes. He'd never seen her get so crazy like this... He wasn't sure if he should be scared, amused, or maybe a bit of both! But then he found himself snickering and giggling to himself, trying to hide it like Hailey had earlier. Why was laughter so contagious?! Lucky for him, when his mom herded all their familiars into the room, he was able to stop easier than Hailey had... and with less painful side effects.
After telling his mom 'thank you' and saying their good-byes, Malachi turned his head and smirked. Hailey's face was red-hot from blushing. Stepping back over, while trying to avoid some of the candies that he didn't manage to pick up, along with new animal invaders, he made his way back over to her and sat down. Giving a little snicker or two, Malachi then leaned against Hailey and bonked his head against hers lightly.

Hailey was ever so grateful when it was just the two of them again. She felt so embarrassed for Malachi's mom to see her like that! Sitting by herself, she rubbed her cheek, muttering something to herself under her breath. Her tummy and cheeks still hurt from laughing and now she was feeling kind of exhausted, really. Jumping in a small start when Malachi sat down next to her, she pursed her lips in a pout then leaned against him. "Don't you dare say anything, Khai..." she said, having pointed a finger at him. She knew her best friend wouldn't tease her over looking like a loony, but still. A smile snuck up on her face again as they sat there and leaned against each other. Hailey snuck her arm to hook through his and closed her eyes. "I'm getting sleepy..." she said, yawning. Then with a nudge from Malachi, the sleepy Freshling slowly got up, wobbling for a moment before walking over and flopping on her bed.

Malachi yawned as he sat there next to Hailey, starting to feel really tired. It startled him some to suddenly see fingers pointing at him, giving Hailey one of those looks for it. She should know better than that! But knowing her, and how she actually really worries a lot about certain things, Malachi sat back some and made an X shape over his heart. He promised and she relaxed some before confessing her sleepiness as well. When she followed his hint all too easily, he stood up as well. Tilting his head to the side as she flopped in bed, Malachi giggled a little. But when she stayed like that, he sighed and smiled as he walked over. Yup. Sound asleep already... and snoring ever so slightly. Snickering to himself, he tried his best to get her on the bed right, grunting as it just wasn't working out as well as he'd hoped. At least it was only one foot off the edge of the bed. Grabbing the extra blanket at the end of her bed, he draped it over Hailey then went to get his pajamas on and brush his teeth. When he was all set, Malachi turned off the light. grabbed up Tonki, and crawled under his covers. With a yawn he whispered "Night night, Hailey." then closed his eyes and nodded off quickly. It had been a busy day, after all.
