"No problem. I don't know why they keep giving them to me. . and it doesn't do any good to try and give them back. All they say is 'Ava told us to get rid of them' before trying to push another one onto me." Cyril held back a sigh of relief that she had taken the plush and looked to like it. Raising the mug of cocoa to his lips, he took a slow sip of it. Within seconds he made a face. That was not cocoa. The bitter after taste was definitely coffee. He should have checked it first. "Not! Hot chocolate," he sighed. "It tastes like disappointment and bad coffee. Plus, I think I managed to burn my tongue so even if I get the right stuff it won't taste as good now. . at least the mug is okay."
Cue something dropped into his arms and suddenly he had a new bag of peanut brittle to get the taste out of his mouth. Breaking off a couple pieces, he offered one to Bibiana. "Would you like some?" he asked before trying his own piece.

With her new toy tucked into her stocking (along with the plant she finally noticed), Kanda was all set to drink more of her not-quite-so-hot chocolate when she was handed a bracelet as well. It wasn't as cute as Wyrrda's snowflake one, but it was red and yellow, some of her favorite colors. Mimicking the older girl, she slipped hers onto her wrist as well. it was a far cry looser than the older grimms, but she didn't mind. "I really like flitterrats!" she confessed to Wyrdda after a big drink from her mug. "But my dad doesn't like them all that much. . . " Her ears drooped down, remembering what had happened the last time she'd managed to sneak one into the house.
Just as she was remembering, an outgoing flitterrat scampered out onto the table to peer inquisitively at her. Her ears perked up and she watched it eagerly, hoping it would like her. Slowly she stretched her hand out and the rat went right up to her to sniff her fingers. The whiskers tickled against her palm and she giggled noiselessly. Tails wagging, she slowly scooped it up and started to pet the small thing.

There must be some sort of look on his face, because someone else had dropped a glowing necklace around his neck before running away. An orange glow had joined the pink one and Vüsala fought to keep an angry look on his face. It was bad enough that his resting face scared people off, there was no need to heighten it. The holidays were the worst with people trying to get him to 'lighten up' and smile. Trying to put it out of his mind, he started to look around for his adopted kid, careful to keep his wings and tail close.

Isabelle stumbled across a table that would let you make a bracelet. Glad for a chance to sit down, she set her stocking and goodies to the side and began working on a bracelet. A cute accessory that she could make herself and a chance to sit for a while, sign her up. As she worked, she alternated between beading and taking sips of her water. By the time she was done, she was feeling much more hydrated and she was pleased with the way her bracelet had turned out. Sliding it into her bag, she hummed softly to herself.

Kidden in tow, Elliah started to make her way out of the festival. At the very least, she could make her new familiars feel at home in her room. If she didn’t have to drag them around, she was pretty sure that she could manage to scrounge up some supplies for them.
Passing by some stalls, she noticed some adorable bell earrings. Had she gotten some of these already? She didn’t think so, so she stopped to get herself a pair. They were cute and they matched the boa and her two new pets.
After nabbing herself a giant lollipop, Autumn found herself facing the toughest decision of her life so far. She'd won one of the gigantic plushies after a successful round of ring toss and couldn't, for the love of Nine, figure out which she wanted to carry home with her. The Fennekits were adorable and the Vespercats had the grumpy faces she liked, but the Kidden plushies had their tongues sticking out! How was she supposed to choose? It was impossible!
"Uh, uhhhh, I want that one, please!" She chirped, nervously. The kids behind her were starting to get impatient! Thankfully, the lady behind the counter wasn't and she handed Autumn her choice without a fuss! Yay, now she was the proud owner of a giant Kidden plush!
Thunk!
"Huh? Oh!" She exclaimed, peering at the book that had fallen out of the plushie's paws. "Island of Treasure? Sounds epic! Thank you, plushie!"
Milo held onto Coco's hand while he scouted out the face painting booth. He hadn't really asked Coco if she wanted to go back to the booth, or if she wanted to get her face done, but he figured that she didn't mind going if it was with him? The Baphomet made a few twists and turns before ultimately giving up in the middle of the path and looking to Coco again.
"Okay, I think I got us lost!" He said, before laughing. "Do you think the booth is trying to hide from us? That would be pretty funny if a booth could just get up and walk away!"

Coco, please help Milo find this booth. He's being a silly goat. 8U
If it hadn't been for Holly hopping off of her lap to chase a stray Flitterat all over the fairgrounds, Melanie would have stayed utterly absorbed in the world of The Halfling for at least another hour. The Goblin shook her head at her silly pet and scooped them up for a pat or two. What a good work out that was, hopefully they'd be tired out enough now to let her finish her book? It didn't seem likely with the way they were wiggling against her grasp, but she could hope for the best, right?
"Whoa, who could leave a classic like this laying about?" She gasped, balancing Holly in one arm while she retrieved a book from the ground. "Malice in Wonderland is one of my favorites! I can't let this beauty get trampled on!"
London's mind was still circling around over the idea of getting more plants, so the Baphomet did what he felt was logical and place more and more distance between him and that particular booth. There was still quite a bit to see out here and he didn't want to miss anything, right? Plants weren't the only thing that this festival had to offer, he just had to wander around a while and take it all in! Yeah, that was it! He wasn't stalling at all, nope!
"Aww, how precious!" He cooed, his hand rubbing along the top of the plushie he won from a balloon pop game. "And you come with a classic tale, too? How educational, I have to say! Good job!"
He gave the red plushie a quick snug before allowing himself to look back down the path. There were still plenty of plants left. He could be patient, he had self control! He didn't need to dive back there right now.
"Let's see what else is up ahead, shall we?" He said, laughing. "I wonder if there's somewhere to sit and read for a while..."
After such a rude assault of his person by a snow globe flinging stranger, Zephyr was more than happy to find himself being given a nice calm book. Well, actually, he'd taken the book off of a pile on a booth he'd passed while searching for his assailant, but that wasn't the point! He had a book and now he had a reasonable excuse to be lazy! Woot!
"... Wait a second, is this book..." The Fallen stammered, furrowing his brows. He'd been sitting for a good few minutes now, his nose practically embedded in the book, and only just now discovered that it was one of those weird Senior romance novels. He wiggled uncomfortably for a moment and glanced up to look around. Why was this sort of book among a pile of classic Freshling tales? It was clear that he wasn't supposed to be reading it, either, but regardless, it didn't seem right. "... I'll save this for when I'm older." He said, shoving the book into his stocking. "I don't want to lose whatever remains of my naivety just yet."
From the second he turned around and couldn't see them, Laurel knew he'd been left behind by Emma. They really were mad this time, weren't they? The pink haired demon sighed and kicked the dirt in frustration. He had to do something to make up for it somehow, but what? He'd already said he was sorry and gave them a new fish friend, what else was he supposed to do? He sighed.
"Emma, where are you? I'm sorry!" He called, adjusting his sleeve and pouting. "Please don't leave me all alone! I came back to get you so we could be together, why did you run off?"
Then, something on the ground caught his attention and he bent to pick it up. It was a small snow globe with a lone demon figurine standing in the center next to a big pine tree. He frowned at the loneliness of the scene and shoved it in his stocking. He didn't have time for things like that now, he had to find Emma and apologize!
Of course, Emma hadn't gotten too far away from Laurel, but the crowd had shrouded them enough to make them hard to see. Laurel's cries were almost like those of a kitten that had been separated from it's mother, or at least that's what they sounded like to Emma. But he'd just have to wait! They were busy winning themselves a sealpup plushie that had a big fluffy green scarf tied around it!
"Look, Spearmint! I won!" They cheered, hoisting the plushie above their head. "Let's go show Laurel! I think he's learned his lesson by now!"
They skipped through the crowd and gently nudged the nose of the plushie at Laurel's shoulder with a laugh.
"I'm right here, you goofball! I only wanted to play that game over there!" They teased. "Besides, I thought you wouldn't mind since you were getting a plushie of your own. Let's see the rest of the festival together like we planned, okay? No more getting lost or separated, promise?"
The freshling pair thanked the booth staff again as they made their way to the next one around the corner, as they hit the end of their row. This booth featured a large wheel, cut into different color slices with words in each one specifying a particular prize. ”Care to give it a try you two?” The booth barker asked with a polite smile. Edel walked up to the wheel, giving it a mighty pull-push down for a good spin. The pointer outside of the wheel clicked as it hit the rods placed on the wheel’s face, creating a resistance that help slow the wheel down until it finally landed on a section labeled ‘Tinsel Boa’ ”Oooh!” Upon Edel’s request, the booth runner handed her a shiny red tinsel boa, placing it over her shoulders. Looking amusingly at Rhiannon, Edel began pretend that she was a fashion model, changing into a variety of silly but dramatic poses. It wasn’t her sort of style, as she wasn’t much of the showy type, but it was fun all the same.
It was Rhiannon’s turn up at the wheel. Trying to not scratch the wheel’s surface with her clawed hand, she gave the wheel a decent spin. She felt hypnotized by it’s spinning, growing excited over what her prize would be. Soon the wheel stopped at: ‘Any Small Prize & Spin Again’ Before picking her first prize though, Rhiannon was urged to go ahead and make her extra spin. So once again she spun the wheel, the colors blending into a dizzying rainbow as it spun before her. Slowly, it came to a stop at: ‘plushie’! Wow, she really was getting lucky! Looking through the pool of small prizes, she decided to get herself the small purple bulb necklace that she was so divided about. And now she had both! She gladly put it around her neck, paired with her yellow one. Then, proceeding to search through the booth’s plushies, she eagerly pointed to a cream and orange kidden plush! They would go nicely with their Fennekit plushie.
As the wisp realized that the freshlings were following after it, it seemed to tease them. Hailey jumped for it when it was getting high up. Grunted as it placed itself out of reach behind a stand and she tried reaching it. In frustration, she snitched up a bag of mints, pulling a peppermint out and chomping on it -- which was a bit harder than expected as it kinda hurt her tooth. "Well how do you like that?! How you guys think we can trap it?" She really wanted the shiny!
Malachi smiled happily as Nikora went with them. He, himself, wasn't actually trying to catch the wisp, but finding some amusement in the fact that it seemed to be giving Hailey grief. Giggling as it taunted her just out of reach, he saw another plant nearby and grabbed it up with a 'thank you'. He needed more of these for his plan! "Uhmmm... You could try a net?... Do you think that might work, Niko?" he asked the other girl. He'd never dealt with a Wisp before, after all!

After he managed to unload some things, Dodger grinned as he sipped his hot chocolate -- mad skeelz. "You know what, babe? I'mma be back in a little bit! There are things that are callin' my name and I gotta sneak. Catch you in a bit?" he said, winking. He had many ideas in mind of what he wanted and needed to do. And a good chunk he couldn't let her in on, 'cause plotting. Mwahahaha! Leaning in, he placed a kiss on her forehead and smiled. "Text me in a bit, kay?" and he wandered off quickly, turning to wave before dashing off. Of course this cute little snow globe caught his attention on his way, so he grabbed it up, and shook it. It was too dang cute.

Although Bobbi was almost certain there were no more books to be found. there was actually a sense of happiness to be found in the bustling of the festival now. Funny how one small thing can make one go from feeling one way, to the complete opposite in just moments. Clutching the book in arm, and hosting a surprising smile on xyr face, Bobbi went back to wandering about the grounds. If anything, there was a chance to pick up more peanut brittle for xyr new pets because they seemed to like it. and there were a surprising amount of interesting trinkets and the likes... Such as that snow globe! As Bobbi wandered over to pick it up and give it a shake, what she xe spy, but a book not in xyr collection! With a gasp, the Litch scooped up the book and instantly took to flipping through the pages. There were glimpses of action and adventure! Surely this would be a wonderful thing to add to xyr collection. Smiling all the more now, Bobbi tucked it into xyr hold along with the previous... completely forgetting about the snow globe. And yet... somehow a cute little black, grey, and white plush caught xyr attention... hmmm... It would go nicely with the small black, grey, and white cat plush army that xe was beginning to amass~
Cimara went to a booth, with candles sitting in candle holders, the game was simple enough, but the odds were stacked against anyone attempting to play. Since no doubt only a few of the candle holders had markers on the bottom indicating that the player had won. Cimara's thoughts floated away for a moment, before he gathered his wits enough to pick up one of the candle holders and see that he had a bit of luck. The candle holder he picked up was in fact a winner. Then Cim looked more closely at the top of the candle he held in his hand and notice there was a familiar there lighting the top, not a real or magical flame. Cim chose the pretty glowing orb familiar, he watched as the orb of yellow light flew to him and hovered near his shoulder.
Camrine nodded and said "Yes I use knitting needles now, but when I was a freshling, I started learning with a loom, it was just a small loom made of wood. You see I was able to set up the yarn and use a small tool to make small things. It was where I started learning and playing with the idea of knitting." Cam said warmly. Camrine smiled "Yes it was, Oh you play music?? I hope you'll play for me sometime." Cam said. She laughed "I don't feel obligated, I want to if you would like a sweater or scarf" she said shyly hoping, he didn't think she was hitting on him. Though Camrine did think that Fig was kinda cute. Camrine smiled "Good shot Fig" she laughed watching the Nixie swim around the drunk tank. Then she thought about his next question and said. "Humm lets go find another game, you pick this time, since I picked the last game"

Glykeria walked along and stopped at a booth, to pick up a bag of candy. She sighed, still looking for someone to hang out with. Gly didn't care if they were nightmare or daydream, she just was so tired of being along at this festival about friendship, and she hadn't made a single friend. Sigh.

Aeon remembered Ami playing with the pretty golden Boa, as she petting the soft feathers of the black boa. Aeon liked black, grey and blue the most. She smiled softly, hoping she would see Ami again sometime. If not perhaps Aeon would meet other nice nightmares, that didn't have a problem hanging out with a daydream. Aeon could only hope, after all she didn't want to seek out only other daydreams to make friends with. That didn't sound like any fun. Aeon picked out the black boa and put it over her shoulders, careful not to get it stuck behind her wings, in an uncomfortable position.
Coco tried to lead Milo back to where she had helped at the face painting booth, but she was getting a little lost too. "There are so many nightmares and daydreams in the way." She said nervously biting her nails "How will we ever see the booth??" Coco said upset that she might fail Milo, her only friend here at school. As Coco was hunting for the face painting booth, she spotted a booth giving away books. She pointed and said "Milo look a book booth" she said cheerfully, forgetting for a moment what they had been doing. Coco picked up a book called Island of Treasure "Would you like to read this with me sometime??"

Gwen went to a booth and picked up a pack of candy canes, she was trying to decide if she would eat them or study the chemical make up of the candy canes. Humm choices, she shrugged perhaps today she would eat them and next time she would get some to study.
Tinker, huh? The little geist pondered on the subject a moment before giving a little grin of his own. Gaius was a curious sort himself, and often investigated what intrigued him. But not often did he fiddle with an object to the point of picking it apart. That was a neat concept... maybe he'd have to give it a go. He gained a bit more respect for the chimera with this revelation, "That's really cool. What kinda stuff have you tinkered with before?" he didn't know much about her, or her likes, but maybe she'd found or discovered some really mind boggling stuff!
Trotting after her to the next booth, he continued his swiping of plants when ever he got the chance! They seemed to be placed at all sorts of booths around the place. Maybe there was a surplus of them...? But once again his arms were getting full... and surely Eilwen's were too given she was carrying one of his plants, plus a new plush for herself! Maybe... they could find a little place to stash their treasures, instead of having to keep going back and forth to their dorms. "Hey Eilwen. Wanna find a place to put this stuff til we go back to the dorms later?" he suggested aloud.

Caper turned the slightest, nodding at the reappearance of Silas' crumbs. "Mine too," the little Geist breathed, wiggling his arm until he cookie had reserved slipped out. He looked back to the tree, tilting his head the slightest. How to be quiet? On the softest of toes he approached closer before gently easing himself down onto his knees.
Looking for confirmation he didn't leave the quieter Freshling behind, he gave Silas a soft smile before gazing up at the tree. The blue bird was staring down at them with beady eyes, crest held high in interest. "Here?"
