"Or I could just rattle off factoids about my people, if that would be preferable," he suggested softly with a contemplative squint. "Oh, I get positively chilled this time of year. My people have a bit more trouble than some dealing with the cold, so we really have to bundle up come winter. Lots of layers," Fig said with a nod and rubbed his arms emphatically, tugging the cuffs of his sleeves more fully over the tops of his hands.
Making his way over to the ring toss with Cam, he accepted a few rings from the game's host and tried his hand at the game. He missed the first couple, but got the next two. "Well, alright!" Looks like Cam had a deal of luck as well! She even won him a plush. How kind of her! And it looked pretty nice with the plush that he won as well. He tucked the two into his stocking, taking a moment to reorganize the contents so as to give his little plant room enough to not be crushed or overly bent. "You're really good at this game." While she stepped away to collect a jingly antler headband, he sidled over to a drink table to gather a mug of spiced cider. Okay, it was a favorite of his, but this was for Cam. As far as he could tell, she didn't already have an empty mug, so she may not have gotten one yet. Plus, it'd just be nice in the chilly weather. Then again, he could also be projecting exaggerated chilliness. She was mighty fluffy and had knitted sweater and hat to help stave off the cool. Besides, she had given him a plush. A nice hot drink would be a nice thank you, wouldn't it? On his way back over, he got very briefly sidetracked by spying a small fox plush that nigh perfectly matched his stocking. He couldn't resist and offered the steaming mug her way. "I hope cider is okay."

Arya quickly darted away from Piper and got some free candy before darting back with a smile.

She then darted over to a free item booth then darted back to the two and dropped a boa on Malachi. "For you~" She looked between the two of them both and bounced a bit. "What game would you both like to do next?"

Caelan was starting to be rather amused just how many plus toys he was collecting. He tucked the latest one safely away.
Excited for his first adventure out since he moved to the Below, Matty grabbed up one of the offered stockings and thanked the one offering it. Soon he was going to have to focus and get down to brass tacks, so he wanted a chance to enjoy the festivities! There was a ton of others on the grounds and even more treats to scoop up from what he gathered. Maybe he could send somethings home to his family from this. Long ears flicking as they adjusted to all the sounds about, he wandered until found himself at a game booth. Sweet! He loved games. Grabbing up the first ball in his game, he tossed it up and let it fall past his hands. When it bounced back up off the ground, Matty grabbed it once again and took the shot! Score! After his game was over, the Goblin happily accepted a bag of chocolate peppermint bark. Yum!
Long enough after the plushie launching incident that she had regained her cheer, Isabelle found a stall that was selling candy canes. The orange candy canes were cheerful and they would be pretty tasty later on when the peppermint flavor was out of her mouth. Some of her on hand cash paid for a bundle of them and then they joined the rest of her goods in her stocking.

The line at the stall with the snow globe he had his eye on was a bit long. Cyril tried to be patient, knowing Bibiana would wait for him. At least, he hoped she would. Maybe she’d get bored and wander off to find some of her other friends and forget about him. Oh, he shouldn’t have just left her like that.
By the time he was actually at the counter, he was so preoccupied with his thoughts that he didn’t notice he was also buying some mystery candyfloss in addition to the snow globe. As he walked away he looked down at his purchases and was mildly surprised to see the bag of fluff. Before he could turn around and try and give it back, something small and white and blue hit his face. There was angry screeching and small claws latched onto him. Startled and bewildered, he screeched himself and flailed to try and get rid of his face clinger.

It wasn’t very far from the festivals entrance that Elliah spotted the snow globe. It caught her eye as she was walking by a ring toss game. As soon as she saw it, the bapho knew she had to have it before she left. It would be the last thing she got, she promised to herself.
Stepping in line, she waited patiently for the couple nightmares ahead of her to finish. Her first toss rattled between the bottles; the second toss caught the tip of one of the bottle and stayed on; the third toss rattled a bit, but stayed on the bottle. With an elated shout, Elliah gestured to the snow-globe for her prize.

Shaking himself to try and get back into the spirit of the holiday spirit, Vüsala raised his lips in a parody of a smile. Hopefully it would be enough to fool the attendants who had tossed the glowing necklaces on him. Two was more than enough in his opinion.
A cursory look around didn’t reveal Kanda, but did manage to catch the attention of one of the stall keepers. They waved him over and practically forced him to play. Even with his half-hearted attempt at the game, he still managed to win a prize. Inwardly cringing, he got a bucket of the enchanted ‘snowballs’ and hurriedly stuffed it into his now-enchanted stocking. Hopefully, Kanda wouldn’t notice it immediately and being throwing them at him again when he found her.

Discovering her flitterrat was nosing about in a plant, (now there were two more??), Kanda tried to get him more interested in something else as she carefully placed the two new plants in her stocking as well. Man, this was gonna be pretty heavy when she had to start carrying it around everywhere. (Where was Dad, he’d been gone forever now!)
Looking around, she didn’t see him anywhere, so Kanda sat back down and went to drink the rest of her hot chocolate. That was still warm enough to warm her but not hot enough to burn anymore.

Ares whooped, excited as another plushie nailed a freshling in the face. He’d caught sight of the cannons and mini catapults getting dragged down to the festival by the engineering club. It was a toss-up which excited him more, that there was an engineering club or the cannons they were going to use to help get rid of the excess plushies Ava had ordered. Without missing a beat he’d grabbed a stocking, jammed some antlers on his head and then went to join the fun.
Kyleigh decided to try for one more game before calling it a night and taking her newfound friends home. It was a "Name That Plant" game, and surprisingly enough she knew almost all of them! She won another plushie, and another potted plant. Cuddling her new plush and her new friends, the purple Fallen headed back to her dorm. She really hoped Purrsia and Phantom would get along with Aruna, Drake, and Sini...

As he was looking around, someone shoved a bucket into Drayden's hands."Huh?" He peered down at them and grinned when he realized they were enchanted cotton balls. "Hey! How cool is this?" he said and laughed, dunking his hand into the bucket and tossing one at a random stranger.
Edel, realizing what Rhiannon meant, smiled brighter than ever before. She could almost hug her, that is if she wasn’t too reserved to doing something like that. So she simply said, ”Okay Rhian!”. Once they finished gathering their stuff back up upon completing the craft, the little freshlings proceeded to move down the aisle of booths once more. Intrigued, they stopped at a booth littered with snowglobes. When they inquired the way the booth works, they were told to simply pick a snowglobe they liked and check underneath the snowglobe. Usually the prize was simply the snowglobe itself, but sometimes there would be an extra prize won. Edel looked at the bunches of snowglobes, most of them being duplicates of three different subjects. Of the three though she felt compelled to pick the wintery forest one. Picking a random snowglobe with that scene, she looked beneath it as saw… a sticker attached saying ‘one plushie’. Finally! It was quite a while since her last plushie win. Looking at the bundle of plushies the booth had, to choose from she decided on a cute black and white fox plushie.
Rhiannon selected a random snowglobe, which featured two nightmares making a snowmare. How cute! She had never made a snowmare herself. It was a little difficult for her to make one by herself and with her young and short stature. Lifting up the snowglobe, she saw a sticker which read: ‘snowglobe’. Well she couldn’t win them all, she thought, shrugging. She at least congratulated Edel on her prize winning.
Well there was no plushie this time, but Aleis had found something to join in the festive spirit. It also amused Aleis to no end that they were able to find the earrings in gold and thus would avoid clashing with her other earrings. Well not like Aleis was too fashion conscious. hmm maybe they could snag a boa. It was too bad there wasnt one in pink and black. Hmm maybe Aleis could snag one of those free books. They thought they had saw the Halfling in a pile.
Well it wasn’t a book, or a plant but it was something that Faust could add to decorate his room. He wanted to start to make the dorm room seem more inviting. They were a bit sparse in their decorations, but then when faust had agreed to the new start and transferred over to the academy somehow all their stuff had gotten lost. The little snow glob wasn’t much but it was at least the start of something. They had heard stories that one tended to win a lot of different objects to put in their room at festivals. Faust was hoping that he would be able to keep with that tradition.
Malachi was super happy that Nikora seemed even a little bit interested in the club.Yes, just as he was about to tell her of some of the other clubs, she ran off. Huh... what was that about? He pouted and decided to grab up another plant for his plan, but when she came back, he was glad she wasn't leaving them! Though, the itchy poofy thing she dropped over his shoulders made him tilt his head as he began to poke and play with it, trying to figure out what in the world something like that was for.
Hailey snickers in amusement at Malachi's predicament with the fluffy thing. "It's a boa, goomba! Makes you look fabulas!" she added with sass and a giggle, winking to Nikora. She scooped up another bracelet. She wasn't sure what kind of stand it was from, but oops! Not really. Grinning to Nikora, she gave a bit of a bouncy shrug. "What kinda game you wanna play? They got a lot more starting up. I hear there's even gonna be crystal tag in the gym later!" Her eyes flashed and glowed just at the thought of playing with those laser guns!

Even though Dodger was enjoying himself and had a mission on his mind, the Grimm couldn't help feeling a bit lonely as he made his way about the festival. It was a total blast, but he just couldn't help feeling like a lone wolf... He stopped at another game booth and tolally killed it! Won some more candy and a cute little kidden plush. It made him think about a chocolate covered strawberry. That sounded super yummy right now. "Man, why don't they have those at the festival?" he mused to himself. Popping a piece of the candy in his mouth, he kept the little plush in arm and went back to wandering... Not that he really seemed to know what to do with himself.

Bobbi was still ever so confused about the fluff boa about xyr neck. Since it was made of tinsel, it was actually somewhat irritating to the touch for the Litch. All the same, it was beginning to become somewhat amusing as xe began to flip-flop the ends of the item up and down. Funny how something so strange -- and itchy -- could be be something one might enjoy. With an ever so slight smile now gracing xyr face, Bobbi wandered on. Feeling a mite bit hungry now, as xe approached a candy stand, there was a green lollipop that was attention grabbing. Taking it up, Bobbi began to chew on it some while walking about... still playing with the boa with xyr free hand.
Matty was bright-eyed and full of wonder as he wandered the festival. The grounds that were holding it was a big staple of the Below. He had discovered that it was the Academy or something. Apparently it was a big how-to-do for Nightmares as pretty much all children down in the Below attended here, or something like that. As he came upon a stand that was offering small potted plants, he couldn't help but take one up. The Goblin wasn't sure what kind of plant was living in that pot, but this was one way to find out! Plus, if it grew too large for its original housing, he could always transplant it and use the pot for growing some herbs. He loved using herbs in his cooking.
As his attentions caught a game booth with varied sizes of what he could only imagine to be animals of the Below, he took a chance at it! In the end he won a sassy looking goat plush. It was rather large and a bit of a pain to carry. It wasn't until he had seen someone enchanting their stocking to place their gotten gains inside that he realized he could do the same.

Cimara picked up an intresting book. Then sat down to drink a cup of hot coco and read the book. He noticed there was someone else at the table, who appeared to be reading as well. So he decided not to distrube them for the moment. Cim was reading a guide to dark alchemy, he glanced up to see what the grimm across the table from him was reading.

Glykeria was just about finished play the Grimm race game, she aimed the squirt gun at the target and pulled the trigger. Doing her best to keep her aim on the target to win the game. Gly grinned when she heard the bell ding that meant she had won the race. She accepted the adorable plushie that reminded her a lot of a grimm though, she thought someone said it was a fox. Gly turned hearing someone saying they wished that the fair had something. She was amused that she had been playing a game staring grimms and a grimm walked by behind her. Holding her new plushie to her chest. Gly gathered her wits and went to introduce herself to him. "Hi I'm Glykeria" she said cheerfully. Clearly waiting around for someone to come to her wasn't happening.

Aeon went to a game that was rather like wack a mole, though the creature was a small bellow animal, not an animal from another world. Aeon wack and wack and she got a rather high score and won another plushie.
Coco stopped a moment to grab a bucket of inside snowballs, so she could play snowball fight with Milo later. She smiled thinking of it, and then giggled wondering if she could sneak attack him.

Gwen finished her balance challenge game, claiming the unstable ropes in order to reach the bell to ring it, Gwen didn't feel very challenged since it was just a matter of science of course. Then she went and chose her familiar who she intended to study. Then Gwen saw a familiar guarding a bunch of trinkets, Gwen went to see what this was all about.
Aloe spent a while hanging out with her solar stone, before she gathered her courage to go out into the festival grounds. Serious who thought it was a good idea to make a Solar fey go to school in the Bellow?? Aloe wanted to study plants, what kinds of plants could she study down in the dark for the sake of the ancestors?? She sighed and nearly lost her mind when she saw a booth giving away plants. Aloe gladly accepted the cute little plant curious what it would grow into.
Most of Ayuu's volley of projectiles missed, but the one that did strike hit the back of Bo's neck, sliding down into his shirt. The geist let out a shriek that trailed off into a hysterical giggle, but as he reached into his bucket to retaliate, his frozen fingers came away with something alive instead of another snowball.
Even though Ayuu had only just met Bo, ze knew that silence just wasn't something the boy did. Ze paused, snowball in hand, watching the geist reach into his own bucket and pull out a tiny striped salamander.
That wasn't good. The grimm rushed over straight away, peering worriedly at the lizard in Bo's palm.
"Do you think it'll be all right? We should find a grown up."
It took about a half an hour before the bird stopped trying to tear the flitterat in two and another twenty minutes before they were both resting, comfortably but attentively, on the geist's shoulders.
Maybe this day wouldn't end in bloodshed after all.
Alioth waved goodbye to Chries and Gany, before snuggling in with Foras. "I'm glad it doesn't hurt as much as it looked." Alioth replied, he wasn't sure if he was talking about the plush still or Gany ditching them, though, because his boyfriend's smile seemed...less natural than normal. The Fallen didn't want to ruin the event if Foras didn't want to talk about it, though. There was always later to pick at feelings. Now was the time for fun.
"Yes, can you imagine getting hit while drinking cocoa? It would probably go straight out your nose." Alioth giggled and booped Foras on the nose with a finger. He was still giggling a little when the owner of the cafe came and gave them 'mystery candy floss on the house'. If they guessed the right flavor, they'd get a prize. "hmm, what do you think it is?" Alioth took a bite out of the candy floss and held the rest out to Foras.

"Wow, what a cute plushie your fox got you!" Julie exclaimed. "They seem to be giving plushies out like candy, I wonder it Headmaster Ava accidentally ordered too many or something." The grimm giggled, not that she minded. She loved the plushies she'd gotten so far.
Something bumped the back of her knees and almost toppled her over. What in the Nine? The Grimm looked back and saw a red Kidden looking up at her. It butted the back of her leg again and looked up. Julie giggled a little and held down a candy cane for the Kidden. Looks like she made a new friend. "Well, hello there."

Mani didn't know the answer to the multi-pupil question, so he looked at Munnin too. Munnin seemed to be too embarrassed to talk about it, however, so Mani stepped in. "Well, I know that my moon pupils allow me to see extreme detail in well lighted areas but once it starts to go dark I'm pretty much blind." Normally he didn't go out much during sunset or nighttime, though Ran could easily guide him home. "Maybe the extra pupils are fighting instead of helping each other see?"
"I think you can win skyfish and other familiars over there." Mani pointed to a booth. "Or we could try one of the candy games." He smiled, excited that they were going to go play a game. He would have sat here with his brother if Munnin had wanted, but the thought of going exploring was even better. Someone dropped a snowglobe in his lap. The scene was adorable, and the Freshling got a little distracted away from the conversation.
"I'm here with my family too, but I don't think they'll be too worried. We're in a nice, crowded place at a school. Not much can happen to us here." Tsukiyomi said with a smile. "I think your fur is pretty. Purple is one of my favorite colors! Are you really in Eldritch? Then we'll see each other a lot cause that's my house too! I really want to be an archaeologist like my aunt. She found my cousin that way!"
"I like your plant, I'm glad I didn't knock it over and break it." Tsuki held her hand out to the hybrid, "Come on, lets go look around some and see if there are more treasures to find." Speaking of treasures, a sparkling blue boa fell around her shoulders. Wow, it looked almost like tinsel...like it should be hug on the tree. But it was surprisingly warm, probably enchanted, so she cuddled up in it. Rowan was so lucky to have fur to keep them warm.

"Earned it? Hardly. I'm pretty sure I just reached out and snagged some. Come on, you don't want me to get a tummy ache because I ate too many candycanes, right?" Kie teased, wiggling the cadycanes so that the other nightmare would take them. The demon's tail twitched with amusement; now that the other said they were just startled, Kie could go back to teasing them.
"I'm Kieran, and that's Pherein. She's my twin sister. Come hang out with us instead of just sitting here; there's a whole festival to have fun in. Maybe we'll get more familiars, though I don't see any pumpka this time, Phe." Kieran said. They were a little bummed because pumpkas were their favorite familiar. Someone decided sliding the indoor snowball bucket towards Kie was a good idea. Maybe they were just trying to give Kie the plushie that sat on top?
Ophrys stepped into the event, looking around with wide eyes. He was given his stocking from one of the entrance volunteers, and it came with a bag of candies. Wow, what a good start! He had come to see his siblings, and knew at least Iris had come to the event. Now all he had to do was find them.
Before he could get much further into the event, a wisp detached itself from one of the trees and flew at Ophrys. The Imp ducked, but the wisp never hit him, just flew circles around his head. The freshling didn't know much about wisps, but it seemed happy to be around him.
Nymeria couldn't seem to find anyone to match Lace's description, so she headed back to where her Big Brother was. On the way, she noticed she dropped her stocking, panicking a little, the litch ran back to find it. Thankfully it was next to the last booth she'd been at. Her lollipop was still perfectly round and unbroken, and it looked like someone added in a fox plushie.
She hugged the plush, then headed back to Samhain. Finding her Big Brother, she saw he'd found Lace. Suddenly shy, she hid behind his leg a little and waited for an introduction.

The little snow glob wasn’t much but it was at least the start of something. They had heard stories that one tended to win a lot of different objects to put in their room at festivals. Faust was hoping that he would be able to keep with that tradition.

Cimara picked up an intresting book. Then sat down to drink a cup of hot coco and read the book. He noticed there was someone else at the table, who appeared to be reading as well. So he decided not to distrube them for the moment. Cim was reading a guide to dark alchemy, he glanced up to see what the grimm across the table from him was reading. 
Glykeria was just about finished play the Grimm race game, she aimed the squirt gun at the target and pulled the trigger. Doing her best to keep her aim on the target to win the game. Gly grinned when she heard the bell ding that meant she had won the race. She accepted the adorable plushie that reminded her a lot of a grimm though, she thought someone said it was a fox. Gly turned hearing someone saying they wished that the fair had something. She was amused that she had been playing a game staring grimms and a grimm walked by behind her. Holding her new plushie to her chest. Gly gathered her wits and went to introduce herself to him. "Hi I'm Glykeria" she said cheerfully. Clearly waiting around for someone to come to her wasn't happening. 
Coco stopped a moment to grab a bucket of inside snowballs, so she could play snowball fight with Milo later. She smiled thinking of it, and then giggled wondering if she could sneak attack him.
Gwen finished her balance challenge game, claiming the unstable ropes in order to reach the bell to ring it, Gwen didn't feel very challenged since it was just a matter of science of course. Then she went and chose her familiar who she intended to study. Then Gwen saw a familiar guarding a bunch of trinkets, Gwen went to see what this was all about. 
Aloe spent a while hanging out with her solar stone, before she gathered her courage to go out into the festival grounds. Serious who thought it was a good idea to make a Solar fey go to school in the Bellow?? Aloe wanted to study plants, what kinds of plants could she study down in the dark for the sake of the ancestors?? She sighed and nearly lost her mind when she saw a booth giving away plants. Aloe gladly accepted the cute little plant curious what it would grow into.
