Tamandani paused by a table selling jewelry, but it was a blue fluff bug plush that caught her eye the most. She chuckled softly and held it up to her newest friend who was perched on her shoulder. "What do you think, little one?" she asked it. It buzzed at her and flew up to land on the plush itself. "I'll take that as a yes," she said with a laugh and paid for it. "See anything you like, girls?" she asked her adoptive daughters. She was beginning to feel tired, but from the looks on their faces Crux and Maylis were not.

Crux pulled her sweater up over her mouth in an attempt to hide her yawn. She had looked over all the tables they had been to so far but she hadn't really seen anything she wanted. Maylis was more into jewelry and that kinda stuff than Crux was. The little blue hybrid liked plushies and toys better. She might have wanted some candies, but Maylis was still sharing her sweethearts from earlier and besides, she kind of wanted some real food soon. "Mama, can we get something to eat soon? I'm hungry!" she asked plaintively, holding onto one of the professor's hands.
Maylis glanced over at Crux as her sister tried to hide her yawn. She smiled; she knew that she was getting tired and really, so was Maylis. And yet she didn't want to go home yet. Just a little longer; she wanted to look over the tables a little bit longer. She stopped at a table selling jewelry and picked up a silver and purple heart shaped locket. She held it up to Tamandani who smiled and bought it for her. "Can we take a picture later? I want to put all of us in it. Our family," she said and beamed when her mom said of course they could.
Niamh sat down again, playing with her new things, yawning a bit as she was having SO much fun it was a bit tiring!

Morginn returned to dancing again after he had rested, but soon felt the need to take another break. He decided to call it quits for a little bit at least and walk around. He was actually starting to feel hungry, so he headed into the festival grounds, following his nose towards some very tempting scents. There was one stall in particular that seemed pretty popular. He stood in line to see what was going on, and noticed it appeared to be a game. You got a pastry, guessed the filling, and if you were right you got a prize. Sounded fun!
Morginn waited until it was his turn. He picked a pastry shaped like a pretty flower and bit into it. Immediately several flavors assaulted his tongue, and he had to chew a bit to try to catch them all and sort them out. "Apple and blackberry," he finally decided. The lady running the stall smiled and indicated he was to pick a prize.
Topaz decided heading back to her inn room to drop off her stuff was a good idea indeed. She had her bag, but there was no sense in overburdening it when she had a spot nearby where she could safely leave things. She wanted to enjoy the festival, not worrying about how her heavy bag was causing the strap to dig into her shoulder! As she walked she failed to notice she had a follower. The little pink coatl was very curious about the Baphomet, and could smell the lingering scent of her snack on her. They managed to remain completely unseen, even to the point of following her into her room and immediately sneaking under the bed. To their disappointment the Baphomet soon left the room, and there was nothing tasty to eat in the stuff she left behind. It was nice here though, quiet and warm after the streets, so they settled in and started to explore.
"Maybe," Jaden agreed. He really hoped these weren't trinkets someone lost and would miss, though at the rate things were left lying around or getting thrown around it really shouldn't come as a surprise to find things just laying on the ground.
They resumed the journey to find a vase. Unfortunately when they did find something that looked like a supply closet there was only things for cleaning. He knew there were herbology classes that might have vases, but he seriously hesitated to take anything from classrooms.
"Maybe we should go back to the festival and see if there are any vases there," Jaden suggested diffidently, not really sure where to look next.
Freddy had dropped off his prizes and was ready to explore more of the festival and play more games! He wanted to try another throwing game, but he didn't want to go back to the bean bag toss since he'd already won something there. Better to give other people chances. It took a little wandering, but soon he found a game whose objective seemed to be throwing balls at bottles to knock them over. He got three balls, so he had to make them count! Sadly he didn't have the strength, being just a freshling; he hit the bottles all three times, but only knocked down a few. The attendant had apparently noticed though, and offered several plushies for Freddy to choose his prize from.
Alyssum nodded solemnly as she handed over the plushie to the boy. She'd heard a few people talking about it, either wondering if they'd get hit with plushies or complaining that they had. There hadn't been a ton of context in the talk that she'd been able to pick up; she didn't think the plushies were actually thrown.
Speaking of thrown plushies... Alyssum noticed a bright bit of color poking out where there shouldn't be bright color. She walked over and inspected the item, then poked at it. From the give, it was another plushie. She carefully picked it up, confirming her suspicion. Someone must have thrown it and it just got lodged here. She turned to look at the boy and made sure he could see what she held, giving her head the smallest of shakes to convey disapproval. Such a waste of good toys. It made her wonder if her spot was as safe as she thought, though the plushie was laying in an area she would consider more vulnerable. She trotted back over to the boy and the safer zone, now holding a wealth of plushies. Since the boy didn't seem to have that many, she held it out to him offeringly.
Rowan wasn't having much luck finding a Bakeneko or Naga who could help them learn more about coatls. They really didn't want to have to resort to guessing, but it was starting to look like that's what they would have to do. Great. Hoping for a distraction, they decided maybe they should try out a game. The nearest stall seemed to be some kind of throwing game. Ugh. Well, better give it a shot. They stepped up and received a smile and three balls to throw. The first two shots weren't that great (Rowan could have told them they didn't have much strength in their arms yet), but the third shot was lucky and knocked down several bottles. The game attendants brought over a couple small prizes for Rowan to pick from. The stones caught their eye, in particular a pretty pink one. Rowan picked it up, and gave the attendant a polite smile before moving on.
“Okay that sounds like a good place to start” Leto agreed following after his roommate. Having been pelted with flowers and had things thrown on him tonight he was a bit weary expecting sneak attacks from the dorm rooms they past but luckily nothing serious really happened and they almost made it to the storage closet. Around the same time that Jaden found the ring leto came across a bracelet. It had been hiding behind a fake plotted plant that decorated the hallway. It was rather a weird place for it.
“Hmm maybe, we can always check tomorrow see if anyone asks around for it, although I do know that sometimes our dorm does like to buy things and then leave them around for others to find and enjoy. My friend’s dad often just kept a pail outside his dorm while he was here and people would fill that up so you never know" He replied.
As he started the motions for reaching over to get his new plushie he almost missed the swish of his companion’s tail and the set of her ears. If she was a vespercat he would have said that she was displeased but he didn’t want to seem ignorant or make false assumptions so he kept neutral. It was apparently long enough that she scooped up the plushies and escorted him over to what seemed to be a good spot. He noticed that no one was really that crazy. It was then she spoke. Ah so not mute and probably could hear him. He wondered if she just didn’t like talking. Hmm well that was perfectly fine with him.
“Ah thanks. It was getting a bit annoying getting pelted. Especially considering some of the other incidents I’ve seen tonight” Solomon commented.
Hailey got over her upset pretty quickly when she saw a super adorable plushie at a game table. With a grin, the geist grabbed her boyfriend's hand and dragged him over to it. "Khaiiiiiaaaaaaa! Win that one for me, pleeeease! I might die if I don't have that plushie in my life! Just die!" she whined in her dramatic fashion, pouty lip and all.
Malachi yelped as he was dragged off to only who knows where this time, standing there dazed as anything when they came to a quick stop. "What?..." he asked puzzled, still trying to get his bearings from the possible whiplash he was now suffering. Oh... Gosh... Not another plushie. This woman and her plushies... She just got one, after all! And from him! He pondered protesting another plush, but he must have given himself away because her face morphed into something semi-scary rather quickly. "Sure thing, Hailey... heh..." he said as he stepped up and gave his best shot.
Surprisingly, for once, his best shot was actually good enough! Taking up the plush, he turned about and held it out to her most excitedly. "Here you go, m'lady!"
With a squeal of absolute delight, Hailey snitched up the super fluffy plushie and squeezed it tight. "Thank you, Khaiiiiii!" and with a grin, she snitched a kiss from him without thinking. Of course it took the stunned fallen's expression for her to realize what she had done and she blushed deeply from it.

Giving quite the pathetic whimper as his teeth ached, Dodger rubbed his cheek with his large paw, pouting. Raising the bag of treacherous candies to eye level, he glared at the things. "You are evil and sneaksy! How dare you not be chocolate malts!" and the poor grimm continued to scold the candies in his hold. This weirdness went on for a good minute or so until he felt the stares of others around him burning into his fur and skin. Hand instantly dropping to his side, he gave an embarrassed laugh. "Hey folks! If you enjoyed that show, stop by later for more! I'll be here all of five seconds!" and with that, he side-stepped a couple times before darting away, just laughing at himself.
Even the confident Matty felt anxious as he set off, still waiting to hear back from Ryker. "Crap on a stick... he prolly thinks I ditched h--..." but then his phone started singing to him the song of Ryker -- as he liked to call it -- and read the reply back. Oh thank gods! He wasn't mad! ... And he had something to give him? "WELL THEN! I shouldn't keep him waiting, now should I?!" Matty chimed with a smirk. Snitching up a box of rather delicious looking chocolates -- maybe cookies and cream? yum! -- he rushed over to meet Ryker by the games.
It was certainly easy to spot that rainbow hair atop the top one in a crowd easily! "Hey babe!" he shouted and waved before running the rest of the way over. Holding out the box of chocolates, he winked up at the tall grimm. "Sweets for the sweetest guy I know~"
Not even noticing, Pawsa went through almost half the chocolates as she just stood there and ate them. Wow, she was really having a foodgasm or something to be doing that. But nobody could have honestly blamed her with how delish these chocolates were! Before she embarrassed herself by downing the entire box, she quickly closed the lid over the box and tucked it away for safe keeping until she got back home. She had decided that she was going to try a game or something, but then more sweets caught her attentions and she went right for them! They were just so cute and brightly colored! How could she possibly resist snitching them up?... She couldn't! So... she did!
