The pair wandered up to another booth. This one was decorated in webbing with little spiders hanging here and there. Odessa smiled, "Could I get a cotton candy?" She handed the attendant some money and waited patiently as he made it, handing it to her. "Thanks!" She turned to Kara, "Can't have a festival without cotton candy!"
How cool! The little ghost was a neat addition and Kiessi couldn't help but wonder if they could learn how to make them by next year!
Kara managed to grab a little bag of candy corn. It definitely had to be one of her favorite kinds of candy around this time of year!
Anara had managed to scoot around another booth, giving herself plenty of time to try to nab one of the treats before she was noticed. However, as she began to reach for it, the attendant smiled at her and slipped a purple little bracelet on her wrist. "There you go!" Anara mused, not sure what to think before slipping back away. Can't get the point for the treat~ Reached Max.
Decran had moved on, the first house being a somewhat success (as far as treats went). Hopefully the second house would be just as rewarding. His gaze flicked around, taking in all the various costumes of the younger nightmares and even some older ones (much older than him). He shook his head and moved on, coming up to the next person. He couldn’t help but let a small grin curl up the corners of his mouth. Caramel apples! They were his favorite snack. Put caramel on anything and he was pretty much sold. He didn’t waste much time as he quickly snatched one up, thanked the person and moved on.
Syra stared down at the bowl the old woman held out, her nose wanting to wrinkled up at the contents laying inside it. Various boxes of raisins sat, staring at her. It wasn’t that Syra didn’t like raisins — she did — but this was Halloween. You were supposed to give candy out. Not wanting to be rude, she blindly grabbed a box out of the bowl, thanked the crazy old woman and turned to leave. Halfway down the path she was stopped by a younger looking woman. Frowning, Syra glanced back to the older lady as the younger one explained that her mom was getting old and forgetful. She was handing out plushes, to make up for her mother’s rainsins. Syra blinked, a small smile crawling onto her face as she picked out a green vespercat plushie and was on her way after thanking the younger woman for the treat.
After taking a few sharp turns the once large maze left less so, and Glitch began to rosen in embarrassment not having been able to find their way out on their own . Now on a leaning on a backyard fence post Glitch waited for the arrival of the rest of their group. He waited a good five minutes and still no sign of a single one, and eventually just before Glitch began to give up and go home in thought that the two must have gotten out before he even got there Sivar emerged.
Glitch: "He what took you so long? And where is Cosette, I thought she was with you."
Sivar: "I got lost? . . . Is that really so embarrassing to say"
Glitch: "And what about Cosette?" Glitch's voiced was pressing now, but mostly with concern. But this seemed to pull an answer out of the clenched face Sivar.
Sivar: "She took off, but I don't know why. Then I spent the rest of my time looking for her in this dumb maze. I don't think she's in there."
Glitch: "How could you lose her?You two were practically handcuffed to each other by holding hands."
Sivar: "Hey! I didn't hold hands with her! She just kinda grabbed mine and didn't let go. I didn't ask her too or anything so don't get the wrong idea!"
Glitch: "Whatever man- that doesn't matter. We have to go find her. Are you sure she left the maze already?"

Lost in thought, Elliah didn't take the slightest notice when a mischievous freshling dumped a nasty looking poo gummy into her pail. Odds were she's throw a fit once she pulled out her goodies from this festival. It didn't come as a surprise then, when she bumped into a stall and knocked over a row of plushies.
"Ah, I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed, rushing to help pick them up. "I wasn't paying the slightest attention to where I was going, so sorry!" Her apologies were heartfelt enough that the stall owner was quick to forgive her and even let her keep one of the cute vespercat plushies. There were only green ones, but they were rather uniquely marked at least.

A turnip. A turnip. Who on earth had decided that they should take a turnip, make a face on it, and then hand it out to little kids? Cuz, whoever they were, they should be taught what was proper to give out during Haunted Hallows. Candy and toys were the best. Creepy turnip heads were not.
While Pepper was not enjoying her most recent "treat", her spectrefox was. It had bitten the vegetable out of her hand and was crunching on it behind her. She'd blown the light out, so there was no fear that it was going to burn itself, but it was still gross. Plus, it had dropped it back into her hand when she made a startled noise and the thing had been covered in drool. Needless to say she'd given the thing right back. Hmph. The next house better have something much better to make up for this.

Being that he now had a familiar riding around in his pail, Hikito was much more careful to demand goodies from people that would set it into his hand. That way, when he put things into the pail, he could arrange them around the bat instead of the bat getting all sorts of things dropped on top of it. Hikito couldn't help but feel bad that it was hurt, even if he didn't know if he was the one who had actually hurt it.
"Trick or Treat!" he held out his hand to a passing geist. The older fellow grinned and dropped a pack of gum into his hand. Hikito got really excited, gum was one of his favorite things! Until he noticed that it was that nasty kind that everyone tried to trade away when they got it. Ugh. Did none of these adults know how this holiday worked? You were only suppose to give out GOOD candy.

Yoink when Verve's hand as she snagged another bracelet, this time picking a pumpkin-themed one.
The little fallen was going to go into a sugar-shock if he ate all his candy in one sitting. Which was probably why his caretaker was quick on the draw and took the chocolate bat held out for him.
Another box of raisins for Mytrax. She wasn't disappointed, not really. She did make a new friend as a result of tonight's endeavor.
Giggling at the fact that Malachi's mom was now surrounded by familiars, Hailey gave her a big smile. Maybe his mom wasn't so bad after all. Time for Trick-or-Treating was getting low and they needed some good stuff in their last few stops! "We only have a few last goes of it, Khai! Let's do this!"
Malachi noticed the smile his friend gave his mom, but he knew better than to say something because Hailey would just get upset over it. Nodding in agreement that they needed to live up the little time they had left, he stepped up beside her so they could go for it together!
And luck would have it as Hailey managed to get another lollipop! "YES! Score!" she said as she danced around excitedly before sliding it into her bucket. Good thing these were enchanted to fit lots of stuff!
Malachi was also excited. Another box of raisins. He loved those and so did a couple of his new animal friends~

Man... With the stuff he was getting just in a couple stops made Dodger bummed that he was coming in so late to the game. "So much stuff, so little time, man." he muttered to himself. It really was a bummer that he wouldn't have more of a chance to hoard goodies. "Trick or Treat!" he belted out at his next stop.
"Sweet!" he said excitedly as he pulled out a Scream Bar. This sort of candy was right up his alley... it made those who eat it loud, and he was a loud sort. Perfect!
"Awww YEAH! Woohoo!" Hippolyta cheered. In a makeshift Spooky Spectrefox racing game, she was able to place second, in which the top 3 people qualified for a prize. "Here you go, Miss! To go with that other cute kitten of yours~!" The person running the racing booth said, presenting her with a green vespercat plushie in his hand. "Aww! Why thank you, sir-Eeee!" In all the hustle and bustle, she couldn't help but be startled by the "creepy" hand that held the plushie, falling to the ground and leaving the person with an empty sleeve. The man chuckled. "That's for you too, ma'am!" the man explained, as he extended his real hand out of the empty sleeve to tip his hat. Hippolyta couldn't help but give a playful scowl that turned into a smirk, being in on the trick.

Gross. Why did girls have to be so sweet all the time?! "Actually," he said, in his best imitation of her voice, "I am an evil monster. But I will also accept a gross monster." He paused. He'd just noticed something about her, hidden by her purple curls and her plastic crown. Her forehead was rounded and a fold of skin covered it. The skin was decorated with a line of fine...purple hairs? Were they fake? Or did she actually have an actual, honest-to-freakness third eye in the center of her forehead?
"Want to go trick-or-treating with me?" he asked. "You must be looking for your Prince in Shining Armor, and there's no better way to do that than to get captured by a beast. Trick or treat--"
"If you say 'smell my feet,' then the answer is no." But the boy's idea had merit. She couldn't very well find her prince without a...well, without a monster. She preferred not to use the term beast. It reminded her too much of her favorite fairy tale, and she did not want to end up with this gross boy as her prince! She held out her own bucket and nodded in approval as the boy got a weird, hairy pillow while she got a fine, purple bracelet.
"I think I could stand that. But only. Only. If you promise not to use that obscene rhyme."
Odessa looked in her pail and made a face, another one of the strange poo candies...
Despite the fact that it looked terrible, Kiessi decided that it probably tasted just as good as any other candy!
"Apparently a couple of the people around here have a sense of humor I haven't quite decided I understand..." Kara replied as she held up her newest prize.
Yet another booth relieved of their prized possessions! Anara was on a roll... She made shifty eyes as she disappeared behind another stall to exact revenge on another stall!
