Well, the cannons were going well... perhaps he'd have to invent some other kind of activity for the kids to do later that involved something like this... A passerby stuck a pair of antlers on his head, which was a little.. unsettling, but he supposed it matched the occasion. Ah well.

Tethys decided that for now he should just go grab some cocoa, before the crowds got it all... He nabbed himself a nice hot cup and then found a place to sit down for now. Mm, delicious.

As Saerun continued to wander around, a librarian stepped into her path to pass out a book. Well then. She stared at the cover for a moment, then shrugged to herself and continued on her way. Maybe she'd find one of her siblings...

“Well I think I’m going to name this one Dublin. I just hope that they get along with Limerick” Samhain pondered. Limerick was rather weird for a nezubat, since Samhain had read up on them as soon as it was clear Limerick was staying. However the hybrid always felt bad whenever he had to go away for the day and a companion would be nice. However before he could ask what Lace wanted to do next, his attention was caught by two different things.
“hey wait that’s not just punch” he suddenly called out and snagged a cup away from a nightmare pulling out a small terrified Salamander. Before he could hand the cup back to the nightmare, he noticed they had run away. Mmmm apparently this was familiar night. Dublin squeaked at the newest addition. The second thing was his pant leg was softly being pulled. “Oh there you are. Lace, sorry I took so long to introduce them, but this is nymeria. She’s my younger sibling. Nymeria, this is my girlfriend lace"
Edel continued on to the next booth, with Rhiannon following close behind her. The next booth had small buckets of what looked to be snowballs, with tables that had stacked plastic bottles. “What do we do here?”, Edel asked the booth runner. ”using these indoor snowballs, you have three attempts to knock over all of the bottles. Even if you don’t though, you at least get to keep your snowballs! We’ll even replace the ones you used.”They explained. Alright, she supposed it didn’t hurt. She positioned herself at the end of the table where the first set of bottles were, placing her mug carefully on the table a little ways away from her. She selected a red bucket of indoor snowballs, and prepared to aim. She managed to knock two of them from the bottom off, but the one on the top simply landed straight to the table. Her second missed, but narrowly. Finally with her third snowball, she managed to knock the last bottle completely off the table! The booth runner brought to her a few plushies to select from. These appeared to be a variety of striped cat plushies. So cute! Glancing at the black and grey cat, she immediately made her pick. ”I’ll take that one please!”
Rhiannon stood in a different half of the table, taking her turn with a different setup of plastic bottles. She saw some of Edel’s strategy, now if she could replicate it. But alas, while her first snowball made contact and knocked over the bottles at the bottom, she couldn’t seem to knock over the final bottle. Oh well, better luck next time!
Malachi was still puzzled by the need for such a thing, but he began to play with the fluffy thing and grinned back to the girls. "Girls sure are strange creatures... or that's at least what mom tells me. Funny how she'd say something like that since she is a girl..." And now he stood there and puzzled over that thought. Why would she say something like that if she was a girl? Hmmmm... He'd have to ask her later tonight!
Hailey giggled in great amusement as Khai began to play around with the boa, but she grinned all the more when Nikora picked out their next spot. "Yes! You totally read my mind, Niko!... Do you have that kind of power?" she asked in wide-eyed wonder. "Cause that would be so cool! I read this book about Nightmares with powers like that!" Shaking her head free from the possible silliness, Hailey followed Nikora as they dashed to the next booth, cheering as her friend won a plushie! Hailey managed to get a book... not a terrible thing. Who didn't like Malice?! But when a little caged bird was handed to her, she gave a devious smirk. "I'm going to name you Malice!... though my kitties might try calling you dinner. Heehee"
Malachi laughed as he was pulled by Hailey to the next game booth, excitedly snitching up another plant! But when he saw that she got a bitey bird too, he couldn't help wondering if she was going to teach it to be mean or not... Oh dear.

Dodger popped another candy in his mouth, biting down on it with a crunch as he contemplated heading home or not. He decided on not if only because he could still load up on junk food, but eh. Though, out of the corner of his eyes, he saw someone brightly colored walking his way. Ears flicking as she spoke to him, the Grimm turned his head to look down and see an Imp. Smiling right back at her as she introduced herself, his tail began to wag just a bit. "Hey Gly. I'm Dodger~ So... You make it a habit of talking to strangers? 'cause you won't find anyone stranger than me." he said, laughing before holding out the bag in his hold. "Mint? They are pretty dang yummy." Though he didn't want to be rude, he noticed a book at the stand beside him. Reaching over, he quickly snitched it up, tossing some tickets at the person behind the stand that was glaring at him. "Can't beat the classics, huh?~"

After a while, Bobbi felt the need to just take a seat and relax. Maybe enjoy watching others enjoying themselves at the festival for a bit. Coming up on a drink stand, xe happily accepted a cup of hot chocolate and found a near by bench. While a contented sigh, the Litch took the lollipop from xyr mouth and began to stir the hot drink with it as xe leaned back. Checking the status of the lollipop, once it had all melted away, Bobbi threw away the stick in the can beside the bench.. With a smile on xyr face, the Litch held the cup up and just enjoyed the scent of chocolate and spearmint before taking a sip. Tradition perfect.
Excited to know the trick of the festival for stashing a good bit of things one could get, Matty grinned widely. This held so much more promise now! Seeing a water gun game, the Goblin pushed his sleeves up, ready to win this thing! Taking his seat and taking up arms, he sat at the ready and waited for the signal. Once it was go time, he took aim and held the trigger down! The game was over in no time and just seemed to go by too quickly for his liking! All the same, he had managed to win himself the cutest little plush. Grinning, Matty took his prize and decided that this victory called for a nice cup of hot chocolate. He had caught a whiff and couldn't resist any longer. Once he had his cup -- in collectible mug at that! -- he took to walking about once again with a wide grin. This place was pretty great. He was happy to have taken the chance to move the the Below.
Odessa had taken a bit longer looking through books than she thought she had, but who honestly could pass up a good book anyway? She knew that Kara was probably getting a little impatient since it didn't take her near as long to pick something out as it did for Odessa. Still, she wasn't sure how Kara could just causally stroll through the books and quickly pick something up like it was no big deal. Every one of these books held new worlds and things to explore, all of them filled with grand adventures! So of course she couldn't help examining each one for the content they held and weighing them against each other for the most perfect one, who could blame her?
Kiessi was ecstatic when they came across the familiar booth. There were so many cute little creatures that they couldn't take their eyes off of every single one! Today's Items~ Odessa: Trinket Kiessi: Familiar
Kara let out a breath, shaking her head back and forth as Odessa took her time looking through the selection in front of her. She wasn't sure how it could take that long when there were less than a dozen books to pick from. Still, it was Odessa.. and she really wasn't sure how that surprised her in the least, the girl was a total bookworm.
As Anara went back to her little horde, she froze stiff. There in front of her was another kid about her age looking at her things! She almost shrieked in protest, rushing toward her familiar's aid. Her eyes narrowed at the other child. "Why... what do you want with my stuff?!" Not that the other child would know, but that was about as loud as Anara's voice ever got though it still wasn't as loud as a normal talking voice. Her eyes glancing toward her bucket of snowballs in case she might need them to convince this interloper to leave.
Rorie usually wasn't one for jewelry, but he couldn't help but admit that the bracelet was kind of pretty. He smirked, looking it over as it lay on his wrist. Maybe he could find a pretty girl to give it to someday?
Kirella was a bit surprised to see another person sit down at her table, or well.. almost see with the amount of plushies that were invading her space. Still, it was a bit of a surprise and she took a moment to glance around at the other tables to notice that most of them had been taken up by other guests, she supposed that this was perhaps one of the few that didn't have every seat taken, but she wasn't sure it was the best option with the plushies taking up space. "Ummm... hello." She stated quietly though loud enough for the male to hear.
Gly moved her tail happily behind her, when Dodger didn't tell her to get lost or ignore her. "Nice to meet you Dodger." Gly sighed "Yea I know it's not really smart to just jump out and say hi to a stranger, then say sure I'll take a candy." She laughed "But your body language suggestions to me that your not looking to hurt me, so I'll take the chance." Gly said accepting the candy. "Besides I've been hoping someone would say hello to me this whole festival and no one has, so I decided to take matters into my own hands." She said confidently "Besides your pretty cute, and if you already have a girlfriend or boyfriend, maybe you have a cute friend I could meet." Gly flirted a little. "So do you want to hang out with me Dodger or am I to forward for you" Gly asked. Hoping she wasn't coming on to strong, but not wanting to be a wilting flower. "Do you want to look for another game to play with me??"
As soon as the freshling appeared Gwen's attention was drawn away from the hoard of treasures. "If they are so special why are they laying on the ground in a pile??" She challenged. Then went back to looking at the freshlings eyes and hair Gwen had note seen the like of before. "I will not take your things, if that's what your worried about, perhaps I could give you some of my things, in exchange for you letting me study you??" Gwen asked looking her over. "Perhaps I could win a plushie for you as payment??"
Cimara calmly looked up from his book and said "Hello young lady" he said politely, Cim often thought himself older than seniors still going to the universities. Even if it wasn't true. "I hope I did not disturb your read. I am Cimara Tirgone a teacher from the university and you are??" He asked curiously . He wasn't sure he wanted to address her popularity as she gathered so many plushies at the table. Perhaps she had many suitors??
Right. Mallets. On his foot. He picked it up again and prepared to hit this beanbag into oblivion. Except he wasn't--because it appeared that the gold wisp had a green friend that sought to avenge it. He gave a frustrated growl and caught that one too. He put it in a different pocket though. Okay. Now he could launch this beanbag through a hoop. And indeed he did, earning himself a bundle of red striped candy canes.
Oriset was starting to get weighed down with trinkets, but she wasn't entirely certain she cared. She'd go home later. Er, she'd go back to her dorm later. Once she'd found something to eat. Or maybe before she found lunch. Or was it dinner? Meh, didn't matter. She traded a candy cane from one of her bunches for a spearmint lollipop, and licked it idly while she played guess-the-race with the passers-by.
Quilo set his new prizes aside in his dorm room, with the plushies lined up in a row. He was going to have to give some of them away...eventually. He shrugged and returned to the event to spend more time with Ella. This time, he took her to the book booth to look over the options. Island of Treasure looked like a good read--it looked really adventurous. He added it to his now-empty stocking and turned to talk to her. He was interrupted by a flying golden cat plushie. Ugh. Did people have to throw things around?
Wyrdda's conversation had gone well with Kanda, she thought--though she still hoped she could meet the younger Grimm again sometime soon. It was nice to have someone of her own race to talk to...someone to...well....
Anyway. Wyrdda squeezed Yule and buried her face in the fennekit's fur for a few minutes, then continued along the way, what anxiety she had dissolved in the fox's fur. She accepted a gold bulb from a nearby vendor, then headed back to her dorm to drop off her stuff.
Anchriesel took Ganymede to a ring toss game to toss a few hoops. It was a fun thing to do--something he could chat over. Not that Chries was much of a talker, really...Oh well. He shrugged and tossed a few rings, only earning an orange bracelet. He stretched. "I think I need to drop some things off at my dorm. Would you like to stick together, or would you like some time alone? I don't want to monopolize your whole day." Honestly, Chries didn't want his whole day to be monopolized by a date...it was fun for a while, but now he wanted to be alone.
Xenophon sat down in the front row of the audience while his dad's band set up on stage. Someone was dressed as Santa Claws, handing out candy canes to the kids in the audience. Xeno grinned and thanked the adult, who nodded and waved their tail. Xeno fished one of the green canes out of the bundle and sucked on it. Apple flavored? Interesting choice...but, oh well. It tasted delicious!
