Fencing -- Arin views the forced discipline as a way to test himself and his boundaries while going through the moves and paces. It has given him something to focus on in the familiarity of the moves, even as he comes to terms with how different everything else is. Finding good competition during tournaments is always a bonus.
Swimming -- Another sporty activity, Arin enjoys throwing himself into the pool for mindless laps either to vent off steam or to just get in some good exercise. If you're up for a race he's up for that as well, never too tired for a little friendly competition.
Dirty Little Secret -- Arin spends time at one of the local arcades playing oldschool video games. Often, this big softie can be seen giving away his game tickets and extra tokens to kids who seem to be a little down on their luck. If they’re opposed to the ‘charity’ he’ll challenge them to a game and at least have a good time of it.
Virtues:
"Stand by me, woooaaah stand by me..."Dependable -- If Arin has made some sort of commitment he'll stand by whomever and/or whatever it is that he's committed himself to with an unwavering fierceness. The phrase 'through thick or thin' comes to mind; there is nothing that Arin wouldn't do for a friend, be it loan them a few dollars or take one for the team.
"Up for a game?"Competitive -- Arin's athletic streak has given him a good competitive nature. He's always up for a friendly challenge, complete with giving you hints on what to do better next time if you hope to win. He's definitely the guy you'd want to have on your side, be it in gym class or maybe even while out gathering star seeds. He looks for each challenge as a chance to improve, either by pushing his own limits or expanding the limits of others.
"Honestly?"Straight-forward -- While many would consider this a flaw, most of Arin's friends seem to appreciate the almost blunt honesty that flows from his mouth when he's asked for his opinion. He refuses to completely candy-coat things, believing that as much as the first impact might sting it's better off in the long run than hiding true opinions and getting caught in what could wind up being called a lie. This doesn't mean he doesn't know when to soften things, though. Often enough he's at least trying to be constructive. Note: This virtue is definitely a double-edged sword. It's something that people will either love or hate and I would like to think that those who are the closest to him would know to appreciate it for what it is... Once they get past wanting to slug him for it, if they're that type.
Flaws:
"That's mine!"Jealous -- Often something that he tries to suppress, Arin can't help but be jealous when it seems like others are coming out on top. More attention, more affection, more of a reason for him to hold on tightly to something that belongs to him so he doesn't risk losing it. This tends to make him easy to provoke, especially when it comes to whether or not he perceives someone trying to take one of his friends away.
"I said I've got it."Obstinate -- If Arin says he'll do something that means he'll do it and he'll do it right... Or he'll die trying. He won't back down even when it's obvious that he's going to loose, hell bent on carrying out whatever idiot task he was sent on that's gotten him knocked around.
"Wrong me once, shame on you, wrong me twice... You're dead."Vindictive -- Arin is not a fan of those who exploit his weaknesses or thwart him. He'll do his best to return the favor in a relatively painfreeful manner. Note: In the event that someone causes a friend to 'wrong' him he views it more as the other person's fault as opposed to the fault of his friend. He will always attack the 'instigator' first.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Bright blue; average eye shape. Penetrating.
Hair: Pale silvery blue; long, choppy layers (shortest layer around nose, longest past shoulders).
Face: Oval; soft, average lips, normal ears, soft/pretty features.
Body: Athletic build.
Fashion:
At Home: Relaxed and comfortable; loose fitting pants and a comfortably snug shirt. Favorite pair of sneakers ftw. Athletic armbands.
At School: Somewhat professional and a bit cocky; rolled up sleeves and loose collar when permitted. Not a fan of ties.
Knight: Fantasy with a side of arrogance. Charming and shiny.
Tidbits & Concerns
Afraid of Forgetting Again -- The darkness can be all consuming and it seems to spread the fastest through the heart when one is afraid. It's easy to manipulate someone when you know their greatest weakness and Arin is afraid that the world as he is relearning it is all just going to fade away again. He understands why forgetting is necessary (to protect him, as well as others) but what if he forgot something he shouldn’t have? What if he forgot someone? Worst, though, is what if it happens again? This will make him fight even harder against anything that might bring about another side-swap/memory wipe.

Personality: Mag Mell has lost all of his memories of being Richterite of the Negaverse. He is more interested in talking than fighting, but will do what he has to in order to defend himself.
Magic - Starshine! Mag Mell focuses on channeling his magic through his weapon [either one card held out in front of him, or a card that has been thrown/stuck to an inanimate object]. The card shines with a bright, white light that intensifies the longer Mag Mell holds his focus. If channeled in short bursts a flickering light effect can be used as a diversionary tactic. Magic Pool - 40 seconds (generally divided into 10 second bursts, although can be focused entirely on one if need be)

The amount of magic focused determines the strength of the burst (anything from a small shove at 10 seconds to a knockback at 50 seconds).
