Captain Richterite was up to his usual tricks. He'd brought a regular deck of cards with him this time, shuffling them for a small group that had gathered to see what he was up to. It was easy to keep them entertained with a small slight of hand, using the tiny orb that he'd set at his feet to gather a bit of energy from each of them that lingered. He preferred gathering like this; knowing that if he only took a small bit from each person it would barely be noticeable and he'd still be able to feel like he was doing something.

When he felt the order aura he banished the deck, scooping up the orb and excusing himself from those who seemed disappointed that he was leaving. If he was going to be intercepted it would be better to have it happen on his own terms.

Richterite ducked into the alley, climbing up the fire escape of a neighboring building until he was up on the roof. It was as good a place as any to wait; no interruptions from any civilians below and there was just enough light being cast from the billboard above. Hopefully whoever was coming wouldn't be in the mood for a fight.

"Given how easy it would have been for me to teleport elsewhere, consider that you weren't the one I was hiding from." He smirked softly, watching the scout for a moment before bowing his head politely. "In my practice, it's much easier to carry on a conversation when dressed as we are if we aren't down there on the same level with them," a vague gesture was made to the handful of civilians still gathered below.

"Captain Richterite. And who, might I ask, have I the pleasure of being chased by this evening?"

"Not everyone does, no, but there were a number of crazy things that happened a few years back. Made it hard for normal folks to trust either side." He shrugged his shoulders lightly, leaning back against the wall.

"I find you learn more things if you don't attack on sight. I tend to like knowing people a bit more than I like being punched. A number of other people seem to be like that too. Not everyone, mind you. I had some kid throw magical Hershey kisses at me the other day." He smirked, crossing his arms over his chest and making no move to draw a weapon in any way.

"Senshi of Glory, eh? You don't set of fireworks with your fingertips, do you? Or would that be something more for the Senshi of Patriotism?"

"Definitely not kidding. Swear. Your team gets a bunch of weirdos with strange magic and my side gets... Personality disorders and anger issues." He shrugged his shoulders while smirking softly as though attempting to brush it all off as a bad joke.

"Hey, now. A win is a win. If that extra attack is what you need to get that victory then it's useful. Sometimes you only need a second more in a fight." He glanced over at the scout. "As long as you're paired off with someone useful, at least. Senshi, from my experience, aren't all that good at the pairing off bit, though... Have you got a team?"

"It's hard, isn't it? When the people you're supposed to rely on the most just... Aren't there anymore?" His voice took on a distant tone, lips drawn into a thin line as he let his thoughts get away from him.

He shook it off seconds later, glancing at the scout once more as he sighed. "I should be on my way. Too much time spent in one place sometimes draws the wrong kind of attention. Stay out of trouble, yeah?"

Without offering more of an explanation he vaulted over the edge of the rooftop, landing on the fire escape before teleporting himself back home before he could start overthinking everything again.
