Painite had taken the few days following the whole fight in Elysion to herself, trying to rest but mostly just focusing on recovering. She was tired, but at least there was strength in her body now. Wounds bound, from a trip to the local clinic rather than to the hospital itself, with medication for pain in tow, she was feeling better than she had the first morning back, at the very least.
She was trying to be patient, knowing that many others had been wounded in the fight, but she always wanted to find those that had offered her help, to make sure they were okay. Sassolite, of course, was at the top of her list because her Captain had been right in the middle of it with her. She also thought about the Lieutenant she had been standing with at the start of it, who had tried to defend her, as well as the pink clad one who had come in, and then the young woman with the antlers who had helped her with Bellatrix.
She took out her crystal, remembering the note had said it was capable of contacting other negaverse agents if they were powered up. She just had to focus, and she had been doing so every couple of hours today, just in case, to try and find each one in turn. At least with Skye she could call her house. The other two, though, she couldn't help but worry about.
Right now she was focusing on Richterite, hoping it would work, giving what energy she needed to to get the crystal to do it's phone-like things.

Lieutenant Richterite had nearly forgotten about the crystal he had been given not long after his corruption. It was very likely that he would have continued to forget about it had it not been for the sudden vibration as it popped out of the little subspace pocket by his head. His brow furrowed as he shifted away from the building he had been leaning against, snatching the crystal from the air so that he could attempt to focus his energy on responding to the 'call'.
"What?"
His voice would come through a little bit weak on the other end, still not entirely sure of the exact mechanics of focusing energy... Or even sure as to how much of it he had.
"Hello? Is this thing even... Ugh... What a piece of..."

Painite heard him and snapped to attention, heart surging excitedly. He was okay, at least! Alive.
"HI!" She gripped the crystal in both hands. "This is Painite! Uhm! We were standing next to each other at the fight! You helped me, with that guy who hit me in the face? I wanted to see if you were okay. Can I meet you somewhere? This thing is draining. Literally."
She had to get everything out in a hurry, her English accented words tumbling out almost on top of each other as she spoke.
She was hurried and excited, and she couldn't help herself.
Already she was walking, though she wasn't sure yet if she was even going in the right direction. But she had to find him, and make sure he was really okay, and maybe pay him back some how for getting into trouble on her behalf. It had been a very kind thing of him to do, and though they were often regarded as the 'bad guys' she did not believe in treating her fellows any differently than she would her friends and superiors, people she wanted to take care of.

"I... Woah. Slow down." He waved his free hand at the crystal as though that might somehow help with the translation process, mentally berating himself soon after as he shook his head. "Meet... At... Green. Hello? We can meet at the corner of Fifth and Green. I'll bring coffee. Hello?"
Not entirely certain that all that he'd 'projected' went through, he tapped the crystal lightly against his palm, huffing once more before shoving it back into the hole that it had come from. He could power down somewhere along the way, grab coffee and then power back up in order to meet the other... Pondering just how cool it was to have a 'secret identity' somewhere in between.

"Fifth and Green!" Painite hoped he could hear her. She didn't think he quite had the hang of his crystal yet. Which she couldn't blame him for: it took her forever and a lot of damn patience and focus to get hers to start doing what she wanted. Of course, she couldn't blame it, it had to be her fault, but that wasn't relevant now.
She hurried, as fast as she could hurry anyway, toward the chosen location, avoiding the usual method of jumping from rooftops if only because her injuries would not allow for it, and she didn't want to tempt fate.
She walked powered down for most of the trip, if only to keep from drawing any attention, though she powered up in an alley to get to the designated corner. She waited in a shadow, so no one paid her any mind.
Hopefully he would show up. If he was all broken and battered she didn't know what she would do, besides feel incredibly guilty and try to make it up to him no matter what.

She had made it there before he had, likely because of the side trip that he had made. Between the line and not knowing exactly what kind of coffee she might like, if any, and whether or not she'd want anything else... Well, it added on at least another ten minutes to his travel time, even after he was powered up again.
At the very least, it gave him a moment to eye her from the shadows, unable to see through her uniform just how many bandages she had, or tell from behind if anything had happened to her face. He took a deep breath, releasing it slowly as he stepped up behind her, lightly pressing a pointed finger between her shoulder blades while holding the drink carrier with his other hand just in case she bolted. "... What's the pass code?"

She was facing the wrong way without knowing it, and she was so intent on trying to see him coming that she didn't sense him behind her. She probably should have been paying more attention.
When she felt something poke her back she let out a yelp and span around on instinct, her hand flashing up to catch his arms. She had her other one in a fist, but she saw it was another Negaverse agent and knew it was the one she had just spoken to. Even his voice sounded familiar now that she had officially heard it, and she recognized him from the battle immediately.
"Oh! You scared me!" she told him, though he could have guessed that much. Still, she laughed jovially and swatted his chest harmlessly. She looked at the drinks, then at him. "You must really love your coffee," she said, grinning. She had a bruise on her face, from her ear down the curve of her jaw, from where Chaonis had punched her. It was purple and not very happy looking.
She looked him over critically.
"Are you okay?"

"I'd say I'm fairing just a bit better than you are..." His brow furrowed as he gestured to her face with a finger attached to the wrist that she'd grabbed when she spun around. "Although I'd say I'm rather lucky that your grip is up there and not down just a bit lower. The senshi who tugged me away from that punk that was trying to pound you had a nasty whip-thing attack... Kind of nasty, but I've got it bandaged well enough and it's scabbed over, so..."
He shrugged his shoulders lightly, ready to dismiss all of it before recalling that she'd also mentioned the coffee. "Oh, this?" He held up the carrier containing four cups along with a small assortment of creamers and sugar (with substitutes). "Actually, I realized once I got there that I had -no idea- what kind you like... If you even like coffee."

Painite blushed a bit, looking flustered. She let go of his hand, nodding as she instinctively touched her hand to her face. She didn't like how obvious it looked, and it was still painful. She wanted it to just fade, but she imagined it would take a good while before it even began to do that.
She also looked upset, though, as she looked at his arm.
"You hurt your arm? I'm sorry..." she felt guilty even though the battle had been so large and everyone was just attacking out of no where. Still, it had happened near her, and he had tried to help her, so naturally she didn't want to see him hurt, no matter how it happened.
Her expression lightened a bit, though, when she realized he had gotten so many cups because he was trying to be nice.
"I do like coffee, and I'll drink just about anything. She reached for a cup, taking the one that was meant to be his on accident. Of all the choices she had. Of course, she didn't know, and she was smiling all the while.

"I didn't hurt my arm... A senshi did." He corrected her easily enough, shifting slightly so that he could set the carrier down on a nearby trash can lid, selecting his second favorite out of the array of caffeinated beverages that he had procured for the two of them without mentioning that she'd snagged his. "And you don't have to be sorry, especially since you had no control over her actions."
A pause, followed by a smirk as he glanced at her. "Unless you did, in which case you're going to have to let me in on your senshi-controlling secrets... Because that would be an awesome ability." His smirk was still there as he took a slow sip of his coffee, lowering it so that he could let his attention drift to the other agent again.
"It doesn't hurt too bad, does it?" He was stuck on her face again, eyes dark and narrowed slightly as he addressed the damage that had been done. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to stop him before he got that punch in."

She snorted.
"Well, then, you got your arm hurt. Is that better? No blame on you, it just happened."
She sipped at the coffee, finding she very much liked whatever it was he had ordered, smiling happily as she took another taste. Coffee had a way of making the world better, if only for the amount of time it took to finish the cup.
"That would be an awesome thing to do. Maybe it could be built somehow? I wonder if there's technology like that..." she tilted her head, daydreaming about it. She loved to tinker and build things, or even just design them, so of course her mind went to a gadget.
She looked at him when he asked about her bruise, blushing again.
"Oh, it's fine, you know. I'll just wear colors that compliment it. I didn't see him coming, so it's okay that you didn't. You didn't.At least you tried!"

"There might have been that sort of technology in some point in time, and maybe there will be again, but I sure as heck haven't seen any of it yet." He smirked, eyes closing for a moment as he took a sip of his own coffee, letting the liquid warm him for a moment before his thoughts became serious.
"It's not fine. I should have seen him coming, if not because it meant looking out for a player on my own side then just because it meant looking out for myself. A team is only as strong as it's weakest player and, let's face it, I am nowhere near up to par; not when it comes to the idea of going toe to toe with those senshi."

Painite grinned, sipping her drink, his drink that she had claimed at least, and watched him curiously. Her sea green eyes flashed and she nodded her head slowly, though she wasn't really paying attention. She was thinking about building and traps now, and that always made her mind wander off a bit too far for conversation.
She cleared her throat, though, focusing on him again, since she didn't want to be rude and she was, genuinely, interested in talking to him.
It wasn't her fault she had a very short attention span sometimes.
"Oh, don't worry about it! We're built to take some hits, right? You're hurt, I'm hurt, so we learn, get better, and kick some butt later. Hey, listen, I'm not the best at fighting them either," she kept her voice down, opting to walk with him so they didn't look 'suspicious'.
"But with a little training, and maybe some ingenuity, you get better! I didn't even see your weapon, it all went so fast. What do you have to work with? Can't be worse than a plushie horse on a stick, right?" She grinned at him, thinking she was right.

He set his cup down amongst the others at her question, lightly tugging the cuffs of his coat sleeves down a bit as though he were about to start some sort of performance... And then he did just that. Richterite summoned his 'weapon' from his subspace while using a little slight of hand, spreading the brown-backed cards out in his hand.
"Pick a card, any card... Watch while I distract you with a little glam and a lot of talk while hoping that this fight isn't going to be my last because all I have to work with, other than my dashing good looks, is this." He let the cards flutter up into the air, vanishing them before they could hit the ground only to summon them again so that he could hold them out to the other Lieutenant. "Ever play Magic before?"

Painite watched him curiously, amused already. She watched his hands, knowing a magic trick when she saw one, grinning broadly as he summoned his weapon. She shook her head, though she couldn't help but be amused. She knew everyone could summon their weapons, that she did it all the time, but they never made a show of it.
So she found it more amusing than she probably should have.
She looked up at the cards as he tossed them, then adjusted her gaze on him when he resummoned them, nodding her head. At least he could distract people with it, though she had to wonder if it would be very useful during a fight with a senshi bent on winning. She at least realized that a horse on a wooden pole was, in fact, more useful than she gave it credit. Actually, she had been learning that steadily, though now she saw it could be worse.
"Magic? No. What is it? I mean, I know what magic is, like shows. I've heard of the card game, if that's what you mean, but I've never, ah... played it. Or seen it played. It looked a bit silly to me, to be honest," she tilted her head at him, not meaning it in a teasing way, just explaining why she had never played it.
