Perhaps Cordoba could afford to have taken more time off work. Be it to get off work to relax or patrol lately, she probably should have, but she liked her line of work, and it let her think. Tonight however she was needed out of the house and away from work to actually patrol as Cordoba. As far as she knew, Chaos was quiet, but she couldn't say for sure, so the page was perched on a low half-wall watching people go by as if she were just some raver, and kept alert for auras, humming to herself contentedly. It was a clear night at least, if not hot, cursedly so given her pants under her skirt. Ah well, she'd live. If she could even see the sky without light pollution anyhow.

Chaos was quiet that evening, yes, but Order was shining brightly in the form of a Knight of Cosmos. His aura gleamed as he powered up after making it to the roof of a building whose escape ladder had been conveniently left down. He let his senses drift, trying to pick out others in the night. Friend or foe, it wasn't like he would be able to hide away forever-- Not if he wanted to make use of the second chance that he had been granted, at least. NovaCracker I am so sorry, Nova. ;; RL ate me alive and I'm just now trying to fight my way back out of its stomach.

The appearance of another Order aura was not missed. Cordoba blinkd, looking around when she noticed it seem to appear before getting up, walking after the feeling idly. While not often in the company of others, the page did recognize ally from foe enough not to be asocial, and a lowered ladder - a fire escape - allowed her to climb closer, pulling herself to the roof before tilting her head. It was a new face, she presumed, and grinned, waving out of habit. "Hi there!" She greeted Mag Mell's back. "Nice evening, isn't it?"

"It is." He nodded, flashing the page an easy-going grin as he turned on his heels. There was something that felt almost naggingly familiar about her, but he couldn't put a finger on it. He brushed it off as having something to do with the way everything now felt brand new and familiar at the same time, figuring it could also just be the way his new senses were reacting to different Order signatures. His cloak was swept back over his shoulder leaving the badges of his former rank and years of service to the Negaverse exposed where he had pinned them on to his new uniform. "Sorry, I'm still not the most skilled when it comes to guessing rank from aura. You don't feel like a senshi, so I'm going to guess some level of knight. Mag Mell," he held his hand out to her, still smiling that friendly smile.

Negaverse medals..? How odd, however, she did take his hand, shaking it warmly. He FELT like Order, so he had to be okay. "Cordoba, Page of Mercury." She grinned back, flashing a characteristic grin of her stage time. "Pleasure to meet you, Mag Mell." The page bowed, a slightly dramatic motion, but still one well practiced. "So, new, huh?" His aura felt strong, though. Odd. "Don't feel bad -- you'll get used to things. Sometimes takes a while, but you do."

"New to this side of things, yes." He nodded, bringing a hand up to brush fingers slowly back through choppy silver locks. "Not that I really recall anything about the other side of things." At that he managed a wry grin before a curious look overcame his face. "You'll have to forgive me. I keep getting the oddest feeling of deja vous. I don't remember much about everything from... Before I became a Knight of Cosmos. Still haven't figured out what's been rattled from switching teams and what might have been knocked around in the fight beforehand. First night I've actually been out on my own since then... Good thing we're on the same side, hm?"

People... Could switch sides? Cordoba wondered if Richterite could be convinced, but beamed. "Well, welcome aboard." She bowed, and winked with a wide grin. "Don't worry about what you can and can't reember too much. I mean, this all is magic or something anyhow, so we might never know everything. Ahh, and don't mind my manners. Cordoba, Mercury Page, at your srvice. Or disservice, depending on views." The page offered a handshake with a grin, nodding eagerly. "Disservice likely since I spend time at my wonder instead of actually patrolling at times."

"That's twice now you've introduced yourself, Cordoba." The Cosmos knight was grinning as he reached out to take her hand once more, giving it a gentle squeeze followed by a light shake. "Although, if we're being honest, I've had the oddest feeling of deja vous since the first introduction." It was there again even as he spoke-- Something about her grin and the light, eager way she was chatting with him. Could it be that she was someone he'd known before? "Things have been quiet lately, so I don't think you've missed much in not patrolling. You spend a lot of time on your wonder, though?"

"Oh, man, I'm sorry!" Cordoba apologized, smiling awkwardly and rubbing the back of her head before motioning towards the sky. "Thaty['s good. And yeah, I like it up there. Get repairs done, sometimes practice my day job." The page chuckled, winking. "I work with music, if you're wondering. Not a great fighter, but definately into musicv."

"From what I've been gathering lately, the words we say are often just as important as the actions we take-- But hey! Don't sell yourself short on music either. Music sometimes speaks in ways that words and actions can't." The right kind of music could speak to the soul in ways deeper than words could. Both were likely to get stuck in one's head, however. "So you practice your day job up on your Wonder. I hope the acoustics are good for it. Lots of resonance? Great sound? What do you play?"

Cordoba chuckled. "I try to help people. Art somehow just seems more moving to me though." But then she grinned, chuckling. "Turn table. I'm a DJ. I'd practice back on my Wonder, but my ancestor's ghost might outright panic or get ticked off." Cordoba liked Xi Feng, but the old biddy was also terribly old fashioned -- she had notions that were to be followed of Wonder care, and when Cordoba'd mentioned her day job, Xifeng sputtered. For hours. "Kind of a pity I can't take up a crowd. Would love to do a show there. Lighting? You could probably rave to it."

"Y'know, every time I think I've gotten everything figured out about this whole knight business I hear something else and it just reminds me how much I still have to learn. One of those guys that doesn't want to kill everyone." The page sighed, rubbing her head a bit to fend off a migraine. "So... You can't remember it? Huh."

"It's my curse, por my blessing, depending on who you ask." His lips pressed together, still forming a small smile. "I remember the civilian side of things-- who I was, where I grew up, what friends I had. The Negaverse, though? The only things I remember are things that the two senshi who orchestrated my jailbreak told me." He took a deep breath at that, brushing his fingers back through feathered locks of hair. "I was Captain Richterite before Prince Castor pushed the Chaos out of me and I became Mag Mell, Knight of Cosmos. The general concensus has been that I was a bit of an a**, but not a terrible guy. Corvus and Denebola saw something in me worth saving." It helped that he had wanted to be saved, he was certain. He didn't want to think about what would have happened- what Corvus would have been forced to do- if he hadn't.

Cordoba listened, nodding a bit. The names weren't familiar to her, but the page wasn't surprised by that - she was still meeting people. But it wasn't obvious until he mentioned his past name - Richterite - and the page lit up into a rather delighted smile. "Richterite? I knew you!" She said, suddenly beyond delight. "I liked you! I mean, nobody's perfect, but you weren't a complete creepy sleazeball!" And although she hoped he didn't misconstrue anything, she gave the knight a warm, friendly hug tightly - the sort reserved for friends. Sje was absoilutely delighted to see he was, well, Order. Although trying to drain a club she'd DJed at as Cordoba wasn't her idea of good times or goodness, she didn't dislike Richterite. He [prpbably had his reasons.... And whatever lead him to order, well, that was all the better -- it meant they could hang out more, a very important quality. "Sorry, sorry -- just glad to see you on the same side I am." She smiled, chuckling. "Means we can hang out a lot if, uhm. You wanted and I'm not working?Day job, weekend freelancing but. Uhhh." OK so sometimes socializing and being off stage and excited didn't mesh well.
