It wasn't a very large room, but it didn't need to be. It was pleasantly spacious and rectangular, with a fireplace down at one end, set into the wall and crackling merrily. In front of the fireplace was a circular red carpet, a series of squashy armchairs and couches arranged in a casual, relaxed sort of way that invited comfort and ease.
In the center of the room was a circular table, made of some sort of glossy dark wood. Surrounding it were a series of wood and leather backed chairs, like a conference table, candles in little glass votives scattered in an elegant circle somewhere in the middle.
The room smelled of fire and cinnamon and pine, and Celsus breathed it in deeply.
"Isn't it beautiful?" he said happily, spreading his arms wide and narrowly missing hitting Emrys, who automatically sidestepped to avoid his brother's enthusiastic entrance. "Just think, this is all ours to do with as we please. It's lovely."
Emrys managed a weak smile. Celsus turned to face the others, gesturing for them to take a seat.
"Well? What do you think?"

"I like it" Falias said simply, eyes taking in his surroundings.
It was, perhaps, not the biggest of rooms but it felt more than roomy enough to accommodate everyone.
And it was pleasant...
No Falias thought as he took in the comfortable-looking chairs that looked like they were just asking for someone to take a seat before moving on to the merrily crackling fire. Pleasant wasn't quite the right word.
It was inviting and cosy in that comfortable way and there was a lovely scent of pine intermixed with cinnamon that served to add to the comfortable atmosphere.
"I really like it" he smiled as he spoke, moving to take one of the seats, green eyes glancing curiously at the others.
Celsus had mentioned there being couple of others when he had extended the invitation to join his brigade as well as mentioning that there were a few others that he was thinking of speaking to, however this would be his first time meeting everyone.
"I'm Falias," he said once seated on a seat that turned out to be as comfortable as it looked. "Falias of Earth."
There was a sparkle to the squire's eye; a notable glint that always hinted at her pleasure or interest in something. In this case, she was enamored with the display of the room, and it took everything within her being to not rush forward and examine every nook and cranny. Instead, she breathed in deeply the intermingled scents before taking a few trots within.
"Oh, it's absolutely wonderful!"
Teal eyes first took in the fireplace, then the table with its many chairs, and then the more mundane seating back by the mantle. Traipsing over to them, Slievenamon took a seat, and cast a much too sparkly smile at her other brigade members.
"Hi, hi," she chimed, giving a two-handed wave to all of the other knights. "I'm Slievenamon, a squire of Neptune. Nice to meetcha!" To say she was pleased was an understatement, she was absolutely delighted to be there.

The Cosmos Knight had traveled along with the Knight of Chronos, still not knowing enough about space travel to be entirely comfortable with it on his own. The idea of starting out in one place and then suddenly being in another? Craziness, even if he had been informed that it really wasn't anything new to him-- That he would have been able to teleport to a wider variety of places once as a Negaverse officer.
He would have happily wandered around the room for a big longer, poking and prodding into every crevice and nook until he'd explored everything, but others were talking and it was rude to ignore that.
He came back to where the others were gathered, taking one of the seats that Celsus had made a gesture to. "Mag Mell of Cosmos." He brought a hand up to wave at the others. "Makes you wonder a bit if this is how the round table started, doesn't it, Celsus?"
There was something warmly satisfying about seeing all of his court together. Celsus beamed at them, a happy fluttering bursting in the pit of his stomach, curling there and reminding him that this was working. It was something that he had come up with, something that he had brought together, something he had worked for - and here they were.
It made him feel, for the first time in a long, long time, as though he was actually starting to accomplish something.
Beside him, Emrys shifted nervously, clutching his staff with what Celsus knew to be white knuckled fingers beneath his pristine gloves. He was still unfamiliar with the others, minus Mont Blonc, whom Celsus had already introduced him to, and there was a bit of excitement there too as well, because Celsus was proud to show his brother off.
"Good," he said to Falias, beaming at him. "I'd rather hoped you all would. It's a lovely arrangement, I feel as though we could all be comfortable here, don't you think? And yes," he added, with a laugh, as he looked to Mag Mell. "It does. Round tables make so much more sense, though."
Slievenamon, of course, was as cheerful as always, a balm to the room. Celsus grinned at her, a hand rising to rest gently on Emrys' shoulder in an attempted gesture of reassurance that made his brother jump anyway, heaving in a breath.
"You all know me," he said, "I am Celsus, of Chronos. This is my brother, Emrys' of Neptune. We're missing one of our number, Mont Blonc of Saturn, but he is called away on unavoidable business. I'm glad you all could make it, however - please, have a seat anywhere," he added, gesturing to the chairs.
"I wanted to meet with you guys as a group to sort of...get to know everyone all at once. And to discuss the reason we're all here, the court and it's - our - beliefs."

Falias listened as the others introduced themselves in turn.
First up was a blonde Squire who gave her name as Slievenamon - Slievenamon of Neptune.
Falias smiled as she waved at them, finding her cheerfulness infectious, before turning his attention to the knight slipping into another of the gathered chairs.
He recognised the Knight as being one of Cosmos due to his interactions with Hvergelmir and past interactions with Sarras, his nod friendly as the other gave his name as Mag Mell.
A friendly nod was also given to Emrys - who he remembered Celsus mentioning as being his brother.
He shifted his gaze back towards Celsus.
Celsus had mentioned a little of this when he had asked him about joining, but it was nice to meet like this and Falias thought it would be equally nice to talk things over in more detail.
