There were way too many interesting things in Destiny City that caused the ten year old child to stray from her path home and before she knew it she was powered up and Sailor Chibi Hypnos was running through an alley with haste. It had been almost immediate when she powered up that she felt a ping. She sensed something! She wasn't sure what it was but there was something over here! Perhaps it was something interesting? Oh, the curiosity, it beckoned her!

Who was it? What was it? She needed to know!

She slowed down her pace, looking around for something that went bump in the early evening light. She couldn't see anyone yet, but she didn't feel alone and it wasn't just her bunny plushie this time. Her arms clung to it softly as she began her search of nearby hiding places.

"Hello?" She asked, her words echoing lightly in the small space.

Richterite wasn't too hard to find; not usually, at least. This time he had found a vacant lot that someone had left an old picnic table in, some sort of poor attempt at beautifying a part of town that no one paid much attention to. Every now and then it brought a young lover or two, but tonight? Tonight it had just drawn him.

His brow lofted at the softly spoken 'hello' as he gave his cards a light shuffle, pushing off of the bench so that he could slowly walk around the table. "This really isn't a good side of town for little girls, you know..."

Sailor Chibi Hypnos found her target at a picnic bench and she smiled lightly, waving her hand towards him as she moved out of the darker area into the more vacant lot. He had been sitting but now that she had made herself known, he was walking around to her side. She watched him for a moment and then she moved. She wasn't shy about it, skipping over to meet him with her bunny slippers flopping lightly with each movement. She tilted her head, and swayed lightly to one side before settling in nearby.

"How come?" She inquired.

"Because there are a lot of bad things out there. Bad people too." His words came as a simple enough statement; no threat at all involved, just honesty coming from someone that many would consider one of those 'bad people', given his nightly 'profession'.

"Aren't you a little young, even for a senshi, to be out here alone at this time? I'm sure there's someone out there somewhere who would worry about you being on this part of town... Isn't there?" If there wasn't he was sure it would make for a perfect time to attack; an easy victory... Yet he knew, deep down, that it was something he wouldn't ever be able to bring himself to do.

"There's a lot of good things out there, good people too," she was mimicking him quite obviously, but with no mockery in the words. She was quite sincere about it, her icy blue eyes prominently looking up at the young man's face. It was proper to do so when talking to someone, but Sailor Chibi Hypnos often found herself at a disadvantage to polite social skills because of her height, her neck often taking punishment for it.

She shook her head at him. holding out her white bunny plushie toward him. She wasn't alone! It was obvious, right? He was quite the gentleman with his blue bow too. Curiosity was her greatest downfall, she'd been so close to being home from the library when before she knew it she had powered up and gone gallivanting down the city until she'd ended up here.

"I'm ten," she said. Clearly that was old enough and answered all his questions. She'd been so excited when her birthday had rolled around and she finally hit double digits and turned into a big girl. Finally, a curious, "What's wrong with this part of town?" found freedom from the child's lips.

"Ten, eh?" That just confirmed that there was something severely wrong with the senshi faction; bringing kids into the game? What were they hoping, exactly? That they'd just be too cute to knock out of the way if need be? Ugh. He shook his head slowly, disgusted with himself for even thinking that he'd be able to dispose of a child, never mind that he knew some of the players on his side of the game certainly would be.

"You're right. There are good things out there, and good people too... But you're not talking to one of them tonight, kid. I'm not one of the good guys." Although his words could have been taken as a threat there was no maliciousness in his tone. He was simply being truthful with her, in his own way. "Well, not one of the good guys if you were to ask any of your little senshi friends, at least. As for this part of town? Are you telling me you haven't heard stories?"

He was not a good guy? Sailor Chibi Hypnos didn't believe that, but then again she didn't believe there were really bad guys out there. Her view of the world was so wide that the spectrum of good and bad seemed to be completely off the grid. There were good things, and bad things but people weren't good or bad although they were certainly capable of acting good or bad.

"You don't seem bad," she said to him, shaking her head. "What stories?"

"That's because I haven't attacked you yet. Just because I haven't, though, doesn't mean I won't. You're trusting; too trusting and I'm sure a lot of that is because you're young. Hel-- Heck, you're a kid. You're still in grade school and I am sure your parents would have a bird if they knew where you were right now..." He shook his head, brow furrowed in frustration. There was a small war going on within his head; a struggle between doing what was right as far as the Negaverse was concerned, and what was right as far as he was concerned.

"People go missing in this part of town. People are found dead around here and not just from the sort of crime you hear about on the news." If she was even allowed to watch the news at home, with how gruesome and depressing some of it could be. "There are monsters that come out of the shadows to feed... And there are men and women who are every bit as bad as those monsters. They're looking for senshi; senseless, little senshi who wonder out all alone, making themselves easy targets..."

He was going to feel like such an a*****e after this, looming over the little girl as he was, but maybe he'd be able to scare her into going home... He sure as hell wasn't going to actually hurt her; he'd never be able to live with himself doing that.
