Corvus had finally put him and Mag Mell in contact and after some back and fourth to figure things out and set a date that everything would work they finally got it worked out. There was a large playground in a park not far from DCU and they agreed that would be a good place to go. After sundown it would be empty of civilians and if they needed somewhere to sit there were plenty of places. Arachne had arrived a bit early and sat down on top of the monkey bars, legs swinging slightly. He still wasn't sure how he felt about seeing Mag Mell again. Sure they'd agreed to try to be friends but it wsn't as if they'd spent a lot of time together so far trying that out. However he felt he could deal with it though. This wasn't about him.

He'd waited until he was a few blocks away from the park before finding a quiet place to power up. He couldn't feel any other auras nearby, only picking up an order signature as he neared the park. It felt stronger than the last time he'd been around Arachne-- Corvus hadn't mentioned that, but it was good to know that the Senshi of Spiders had stepped up to the next level. He paused before approaching the playground, catching sight of the other man's silhouette perched atop the monkey bars. He smiled and started to walk again, closing the distance between them. "Hope I didn't keep you waiting too long."

"Not at all, just got here a bit early to enjoy the scenery." Arachne grinned as he dropped down off the monkey bars, landing lightly before dusting himself off and righting his coat. It was still strange seeing Mag Mell, knowing who he used to be, but at least it didn't hurt as much as it did. That had to be a good sign. "Did Corvus tell you why I wanted to speak to you?" He figured she would have, given that subject, but he wasn't quite sure what she may or may not have said.

"She told me that you had met someone who had some questions, but thought you might want to discuss that with me directly yourself. Thought you knew her well enough by now to know that she doesn't say more than she has to." His smile shifted into a soft, easy smirk as he reached up to adjust the fall of his cloak. "Whatever it was, you both made it sound important... And I'm not going to turn down a chance to help either of you." Not after the debt he owed Corvus, or Arachne for that matter.

"That's one way to put it." Arachne laughed softly, walking over to sit down on one of the lower levels of the playground. Thankfully it was clean, someone actually keeping up with things. "I'm not sure it's something you'll want to talk about but I didn't know who else to turn to." Who else could be the best person to explain what it was like switching sides other than someone who'd done it. He knew it wasn't easy, and obviously cost something given that Mag Mell said he didn't remember a lot, but if it saved Alma? "That someone is a corrupt senshi, who's way to sweet and not meant for the Negaverse. I told him that he didn't have to stay, that there was a way to put his starseed back and fix it all ... and he was curious about it. I told him to think about it over the week but that I could introduce him to someone who'd done it. Better to have as much info as you can right?"

He regarded the senshi for a moment before heading over to take a seat next to him. "I don't know anything about corrupted senshi other than what I've been told from others, but... The process of having the Chaos driven out of you can't be all that different for a senshi than it can be for a knight. It-- It also doesn't just fix everything." He didn't know if he was actually the right words. He didn't want Arachne to think that he wasn't willing to help, but... He knew the other man. He knew how much he cared and how willing he had been to believe that something simple could 'fix' everything when they were younger. "You're right, though. He doesn't have to stay if that's not where he belongs and if he wants to know what it's like to leave it all behind, I'll answer any questions he might have. I'll answer any of yours that I haven't already as well, if you think it will help you prepare for talking to him about it."

"Fix probably wasn't the right word but it's what came out, more fix his starseed than fix everything." He knew that wasn't the case. If it had 'fixed' Arin then they possibly wouldn't have had some of the issues they had. "Repair maybe?" Arachne tipped his head back slightly as he spoke. "I told him he needed to think about it, and talk to you, because ******** if I know what it all entails." He just knew Almandine didn't belong with the Negaverse. The other senshi was too sweet, to smart, to be with them. He deserved something better than being a puppet for whatever drove the Negaverse. "I probably know what I need to know? Messes with your memory, gives you back whatever powers you would have had before, worth it so you're not with them anymore?" He looked over at Mag Mell, slight grin on his lips. He figured the other man preferred it this way. He seemed to be happy at least.

"Cleanses-- takes whatever Chaos was forced into your starseed and chases it away with light so bright that for a while you forget what it felt like to have anything else weighing you down. The memory loss might not be as bad as mine was, assuming you don't have a head injury already going into the process. Given some of the things I'd forgotten have come fumbling back, I'm going to take an educated guess in saying that it was my Negaverse memories that were wiped. Gotta even the playing field somehow." Not that he'd really known much about the Negaverse side of things to begin with, from what he'd gathered after conversations with Corvus. A few names, events that they'd both been at, but nothing that had marked him as worth chasing down.... Everyone you knew was gone. "Totally worth it, as far as I'm concerned. Feeling like you're whole again? Like you can breathe?" He shook his head slowly before glancing to the Senshi of Spiders. "How long has your friend been with them?"

Arachne listened to what Mag Mell was saying, nodding slightly. He knew getting tid of Chaos was the right thing but hearing someone else, someone who'd been corrupted, say it sounded better. Mag Mell sounded like he really did believe it and he'd be the sort of person who knew if it was worth it. That's why he'd wanted to knight's opinion, why he wanted him to talk to Almandine. "Almandine mentioned it felt weird." He figured it had to not knowing what it felt like the right way? "Not long I don't think. I didn't ask exact dates but he's still new, basic power level and all. It should be easier that way right?"

"It feels..." He paused for a second, collecting his thoughts on the matter as he cast his gaze out ahead of them for a moment. A sigh passed his lips as he brought his hand up, running fingers through his hair. "It's probably different for everyone, honestly. If you enjoy whatever it's doing to you I'm sure you feel a different way about it, but.... For me it was like being winded. You're knocked onto the ground and there's someone sitting on your chest. Or you're being followed but you can't turn around to see who or what is following you." Anxiety. Fear. Paranoia. It had been so many things that he hadn't realized immediately until after the Chaos had been purged from him. "If there's less of it that's taken hold, yes. I think I remember someone saying that the more Chaos there was to force out the harder it was, but... They managed to get me away from it, and I've heard about others as well."

"I think I'll stick with not feeling that, thanks." He laughed slightly, shaking his head. "Having all this stuff feels weird enough, even if it feels good." He still wasn't sure how he felt being 'responsible' but he was getting a little more used to it. It was no wonder Corvus was perfectly happy that he was stuck with Thisbe now and not her. "If it's something we can do, and something he wants to do, i want to get him out. He'd be so much better on our side." And he had a feeling Almandine would be happier too. Everyone he knew was understanding to people who were different. They were all a little weird anyway.

His shoulders rolled as he stretched his arms before resting his hands behind his head. "So... When do you want to do this? Just going to send me a message whenever you'd like to meet, now that you know how?"

"I told him I'd give him until Saturday so he had time to think things over. Figured, even if it's the right choice, it's something not to be taken lightly. Can't force him to change. He needs to want it too." He wanted Almandine on their side, wanted him to be free of the Chaos, but he wouldn't make him. Alma probably had enough people telling him how he should and shouldn't act that he didn't need to add too it. "Not a problem to send you the location we usually meet, not sure how good you are at getting on roofs though? Would it be easier for me to grab him and meet you somewhere else?"

"You're absolutely right in that. Corvus was pretty clear when she presented the offer to purify to me. It has to be willing. You can forcefully corrupt someone, it's probably happened more than any of us want to think about, but if you've been touched by Chaos you have to be willing in order for the purification to work." They couldn't stoop to their enemies side. The grip that Chaos had on their starseed had to be weakened by that desire to have it gone, to be something more. "As long as there are fire escapes I can get up onto roofs. I just don't go running on them like I know some senshi do some nights." He smirked, hands dropping back down to his sides as he turned to glance over his shoulder to the other man. "What time on Saturday? Just so I can make sure I'll be free."

"It's nice being up there." He grinned. "Out of the way, free, and a lot less negaverse idiots running around." Plus it was easier to see where youma were if you had a good vantage point. "If you can get up I can send you the roof we meet on, if not then I'm sure I can get him to come to the park with me or something." He doubted that Almandine was going to complain about having to go somewhere else. IT would just be easier if they could all meet in one place and he didn't have a way to let Alma know things would change.
