Mag Mell, Knight of Cosmos, stepped off of the ship that had brought him from Corvus to Arsinoe. He went to reach for his bag only to find that someone had already grabbed it to load onto a carriage that was supposed to take him the rest of the way to his destination. Anxiousness at being somewhere new as well as the underlying thrill of exploration tickled at his senses, driving him forward until he reached the carriage himself. Everything was twilight-- An in between, much like Corvus was at certain times of day. It was enchantingly beautiful and he found himself wishing he had arrived earlier in the day, just to see everything while the sun was still high in the sky and not while the lanterns were being lit. He could already see the correlation between the world and the senshi of it. With one more look to the sky he slid into the carriage, waiting for it to take him where he needed to be.

Jinyue had spent his morning working before heading back to his rioms to change. The knight from Mag Mell, Arlen, was making a visit to the asteroid and he had of course taken responsibility for his visit. He dressed in one of his favorite robes, one that matched his Sailor uniform and pinned his hair back before going down to wait for the carriage. When the carriages started to arrive he was waiting mostly alone, a space open around him as the others gathered wouldn't risk bumping into him. He smiled as he saw the family carriage knowing they would have only sent that out for family or a guest.

He stretched as he got out of the carriage, running his fingers back through his hair before adjusting his cloak on his shoulders. The ride from the docs wasn't as long as he'd thought it would be, but it felt good to be on his feet again and he was hoping to avoid being in any other form of transport for the rest of the night as he could. Again, he tried to claim his bag only to be kept from it, brow furrowing slightly as he turned to follow it with his eyes. His gaze drifted up and he paused as he caught sight of a familiar flash of purple, fuchsia and white. It drew a smile from him as he approached the Senshi of Lanterns, pausing a few feet from Sailor Arsinoe to bow politely to him.

"Welcome to Arsinoe." He smiled, glad it looked like the knight had done some research. "And dont mind them, they wouldn't let you have your bag if you begged. It will be in your room though." He tipped his head slightly so the knight would follow home. "I hope you don't mind walking? I thought you would luke to see the city instead of the inside of another carriage." He also gave him an excuse to enjoy the city himself as well which he enjoyed.

"I would very much appreciate the chance to stretch my legs after the ship and the carriage." He followed just as the other man thought he would, easily stepping into stride alongside him. There were others who were moving along with them as well; well trained guards that he was fairly certain only let him see their movement so that he would know that they were there. Know not to try anything. He shook off the thought, arms crossed at the back beneath his cloak as he continued on after Sailor Arsinoe. It would be easier to focus on the sights instead of the guards. "Thank you for inviting me to visit your home. I wasn't expecting to be this far beyond Corvus, but I wouldn't dream of declining the hospitality of a friend."

He sighed softly as he noticed the guards making themselves known. "Excuse our guests, my father wouldn't take my word about you." He spoke softly so that the guards wouldn't hear. He knew they were just doing their job even if he thought it was unnecessary. "Most knights end up here at some point for training. I'm just glad you have a chance to see it on your own before that. And I promise I will show you things other than the fish." It was rare, almost unheard of, for him to have friends visit but he was glad Arlen had accepted the invitation.

"I'm assuming, by that statement, that your father was unable to turn up any additional information in regards to my past than what I already told you?" His brow quirked slightly over one eye as he cast a sidelong glance at the Senshi. His own voice was just as soft as his escort's had been and he didn't want to make their conversation any more suspect by pausing to look at the other man. At the mention of the fish, however, all seriousness left his face and he found himself laughing softly. "Are you certain there are things other than fish to show me, Sailor Arsinoe? I was under the impression that they were your most prized creatures as well as dear friends. I would not want to miss the opportunity to have my worth judged by your favorite fish." He was teasing, of course, the slightest smirk touching the corners of his mouth. Beneath his cloak, however, his grasp on his wrists behind his back tightened slightly. "If my visit is going to cause problems..."

"No, of coursev not." A frown tugged at his lips for a moment as he reached out to the knight. His fingers brushed lightly against Arlen's sleeve. "He shouldn't have even looked you up. You're a knight and my friend. Hes just .... Himself." He shook his head slightly as he took his hand back. He wanted to show Arlen his home after how interested Mag Mell had seemed in seeing it. His father could get over it. "I will of course introduce you to my favorite koi. You're not escaping that. I know there is more you'd like to see though." The path they walked down was quiet, wooden bridges crossing the streams that wandered all over the city now and then. The lanterns that he was named after lit the walkways with warm gold light which reflected of everything around them.

"I'm starting to think that when one becomes a Knight of Cosmos our records are purged." The words were meant as a softly teasing joke, but he was fairly certain that they were true. How else could the intrigue be explained? It seemed best to leave it to the Knight to tell their story anyways... "I'll have you know that I feel a tad under dressed walking beside you," he murmured as they stepped over a bridge that crossed a canal he assumed served for transportation solely based on how the walkway arched higher than others they had passed. "There wasn't much time to change into anything more formal than my traveling clothes, which are generally good enough for a Knight of Cosmos, but... Arsinoe seems much fancier than Mag Mell."

"That could very well be the case. I don't think we have much on record about the Cosmos knights here other than who they are and known Wonders. And what information they will share." Cosmos wasn't going to tell them anything extra and there was only so much digging you could do if the Knights weren't willing to divulge information on their own. "It would make protecting those around you easier as well. No one to hurt if no one can be found." The comment about his clothes got a soft laugh and he held up one arm, robe swaying slightly in the breeze. "These are ... rather informal actually. Im sure someone would complain I wasn't dressed properly to meet a guest but I wanted to be comfortable on our walk as well." Any of his formal robes would have made that impossible. "Arsinoe is ... set in her ways. It's a very old culture and not much has changed over the centuries."

"If we've time during my visit I wouldn't be opposed to viewing what records you have on Mag Mell-- the Wonder, not the knight. I would be happy to supplement what information you have with things that I know and have learned." It was only fair; information for information. In getting to know the Senshi of Lanterns better he'd started to figure out that Arsinoe appreciated information almost as much as he did his fish. "Is that why you enjoy spending time on Corvus, then? I seem to recall one of your last visits including things considerably more informal." He smirked softly, glancing to the other man once more.

"I'd enjoy that." He smiled, nodding. "I'm sure we can make time. The Grand Archivest would practically demand it if he knew you were willing to give us any more information." That was one thing they always did like about having the knights and senshi come visit. Someone was bound to be able to talk them into giving them more information or confirming the information they had. He paused at one intersection so a family could go past before he motioned the knight down the right path. "Not everyone on Corvus knows all the rules here, most try to be courteous but," He chewed on his lip slightly as he thought of the right words. "It is less controlled there so I have a chance to be a bit more open."

"Rules are sometimes meant to be bent, depending on the situation. Getting a chance to be more open, to be more yourself is as good a reason as any." The way the conversation was going made him want to drum his fingers against a tabletop or shuffle his cards. They were nowhere near a table, nor did it seem as though they would be pausing by one, and he had left his cards in his bag to remove the temptation of reaching into his cloak. Sailor Corvus had warned him that they might have shadows and the last thing he wanted to do was give them reason to worry. "That said, your home is rather lovely, Sailor Arsinoe-- What I've seen of it so far, at least."

"It is harder to think, or want, to break them when they are set into every part of your culture. They seem less like rules that way and more just how things are." He had never really considered them rules until he'd gotten a bit older and had started to spend more time with his cousin. Then he noticed the differences. It had made him question more but he did love his home and he respected their way of life. The occasional escape when he was on Corvus was good enough. "Thank you. It gets better the closer you get to the palace or the library." He motioned ahead of them up the street where the walls and towers of the palace were visable.

"But the further you travel?" His brow lofted slightly as he looked to the other man, wishing for a moment that he had a chance to actually watch him as he spoke. It was always different when you could see the expressions on someone's face against the words they were saying. "So," he spoke loudly to clear the air and potentially keep the conversation from taking a turn towards wanting to escape and needing to be elsewhere. "Where, might I ask, are we going? The Palace or the Library?"
