Breakfast was usually a simple affair and he was glad for once that everyone tended to come as go as they pleased. It meant none of the ceremony that usually went along with dinner and a chance to speak to Arlen quietly about what he wanted to do that day. It was an unofficial visit so he wanted to make sure that the knight could see what parts of the city he wanted. They agreed that the library should be the first stop and after finishing up breakfast he let his family know they would be out for the day and had a carriage prepared. The Archive wasn't too far from the palace but far enough that he figured the carriage would be best depending on how much walking they did around the rest of the city. "I am glad you slept well. I know sleeping in a strange place can be challenging." He looked over at Arlen as they both settled into the carriage.

"It is more of a challenge when the place you're sleeping isn't comfortable and you have no sweet things to dream of. I was well accommodated." He nodded as he leaned back against the seat after shifting to adjust his cloak around him. Sleep had found him easily enough the night prior, all of the excitement of travel and being in a new place wearing him out more than keeping him anxiously awake. "I trust you slept well yourself? Breakfast this morning was wonderful too."

"I did, a bit better than I have lately." He nodded as the carriage started off toward the Archive. "I am glad to hear you slept easily and had pleasant dreams as well." He as tempted to ask what Arlen had been dreaming of but since the other man didn't volunteer he didn't' really have a right to pry. "We had a few more sweet things than usual. I'm wondering if they did that because you were here and wanted to make it a treat."

"Did someone let it slip to the kitchens that they think I've got a sweet tooth?" He laughed softly, brushing fingers back through his hair as he looked to the other man. "I don't suppose you would have had something to do with that? If you did, maybe let it slip that it's generally just for dessert." His tone was light and teasing, soft smirk on his lips. He was hoping to draw a smile from the other man as well, wanting to see a bit of warmth from the night prior.

"I may have told them how much you liked the cakes ok Corvus but I disnt think that would extend to breakfast." He shook his head, laughing softly. "But it was a nice treat so I'm not going to complain." It wasnt often they got sweets for breakfast as well. "You did have extra though so I don't think you minded that much."

"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I do distinctly recall you telling me last night that it would be rude if I accepted anything onto my plate that I wasn't intending to eat." He extended his leg, gently nudging the other man's shin with the tip of his boot before sitting up straight again so that he could peer out the window without slouching. "How far is it from the palace to the Archives of Arsinoe?"

"It's not far a few minutes by carriage." He shifted a bit so he could motion out of the wibdow. "You can see it from here, the large dome over there is the main building for the Archive. Its the new building as well only finished a few years ago." He was still proud of the new building and how beautiful it was. Getting to show it off was always a delight. "We imported the glass and its all hand painted to match the sky."

"A project of yours, then? Or something that was started before that you just had a hand in finishing?" His brow lofted as he looked back to the other man, interested in whatever information Arsinoe would be willing to share with him in regards to the building they were on their way to visit. Of course, information for himself wasn't the only thing that was on the agenda for the day. He had let Jinyue know that he would provide one of their scribes with information on Mag Mell as well-- what information he could share from memory, at the very least. It was only fair, of course, and it served as a show of trust as well.

"The building itself was startede when I was a child. They wantes to house all the information in one safer space than spread over branches in the city. The dome though, that was mine." He nodded. It surprised him when the elders agreed to his idea but it had come out beautiful. "It matches the astronomical placement of everything the day I awoke as Sailor Arsinoe, that wasn't my choice, but I can't fault how it looks." With the never ending twilight on the asteroid the dome was always lit and as they got closer the gold inlaid into the glass could be seen shimmering.

"With all of this finery I am certain you would find Mag Mell absolutely boring." He was still smirking softly as he watched the Senshi of Lanterns after glancing out the carriage window. Arsinoe was beautiful, but he had a feeling that if he stayed too long he might miss the sunlight. Knowing what Sailor Arsinoe looked like with the sun of Corvus shining down on him, he could only imagine what he would look like relaxed and standing on the shores of Mag Mell. It was a thought that caught his breath and after a moment he shook his head to clear his mind.

"Perhaps you'd allow me to visit some tone? Then I could see for myself?" He smiled as the carriage came to a stop. "How else will I really know. From the information we have it sounds beautiful." He had seen the beach on Corvus once but seeing them on Mag Mell would probably be a completely different experience. And being able to see Arlen at home and completely relaxed would be a plus. He was handsome already but he longed to see him without any restrictions on him.

"You only need write me and let me know when you would like to visit and I'll make sure that I'm there to greet you." He lashed the Senshi of Lanterns a smile before following him out of the carriage. The Archives of Arsinoe had been a beautiful sight from a distance. Up close? Up close they were breathtaking and if he didn't know better he might have thought that this was the palace. The dome had been constructed to perfectly reflect the twilight, giving the painted stars a soft, twinkling appearance. He could imagine spending a considerable amount of time here, and was certain that Arsinoe did. "Shall we?"

"Iv will have to plan a trip then. It's been too long since I've been somewhere other than Corvus." He was sure he found find an excuse to visit even if he had to call it Archive business. He smiled as he lead Arlen away from the carriage and toward the main entrance. One of the large doors was pen allowing guests to come and go. The other remained closed, the lantern carved into it spilling light into the street. The scribe at the door greeted them happily and motioned them inside. The floors inside were a light marble making the whole palace glow. "Tell me what you would like to see first."

He paused beside the other man just inside the doorway, filled with awe as he looked around. "I wouldn't even know where to start," he murmured, finally drawing his gaze away from the dome in order to look to the other man. Sailor Arsinoe was smiling. He was beautiful when he smiled. The Cosmos Knight glanced back down to the floor, brushing his fingers through his hair again and letting his hand rest on the back of his neck. "How would you go about showing anyone else around their first time here? I'd like the same tour, and then we can talk more about Mag Mell."

"That could depend on why they were here." His smile didn't fade as he movrx across the main foyere to the main room of the archive. From inside the dome disappeared against the sky, only the golden stars showing up. "This is the public area, there are a few smaller sections that have their own rooms on this floor. The second floor is all shelves and tables." He paused on the compad that was carved into the floor at the center of the room. "The gardens and scribes officers are to the eat and the stairs to the vault are to the west. Which way first?"
