Her whole personality centers around how motherly she is. She even rules more as a mother than a queen to the Pride. However, she is rather traditional/conservative and dislikes deviating from the mannerisms she learned as she grew. Soft as she seems, Sarabi has a strong core, giving her a firm paw when she needs it. She is always willing to take other creatures, lions or not, under her 'wing'. Bio: Born to Mdaawa and Lainifu, she was bethrothed to Taka as a young cub. She grew up in the pride as one of a crowd of cubs, undistinguished till her adolescence and the coming of the rogue brothers. The time they ruled, while Taka and Mufasa were exiled, is a dark time in her past that she does like to talk about and still gives her nightmares to this day. The day Mufasa returned to free the pride marked a drastic change in her life, making her from just another lioness in the pride, into something more. The future king's actions stole her heart, and as a reward for freeing them, the pride awarded him both the title of king, and Sarabi's betrothal. The two fell more and more in love each day, and soon came their first cub, Simba. Rogues filtered into the pride, welcomed by the king and queen, along with a male firekin that eventually mated to Koho, Mufasa's half sister. When the plague came, many of the pride fell to the sickness, including Sarabi. She barely recovered, suffering a double blow with the death of her only cub. Still, the Circle of Life turned, and the queen found she was to bear another litter by her king. The birth of six cubs so soon after her illness was a hard blow, bring back the fever that would shatter her health permanently. Once again, life delt her two blows, in the form of one of the six dying shortly after birth. After that shakey start, life set in full force. Left weak and frail, Sarabi still retained her core of strength, and does what little she can from Priderock, since she can't travel far. Her children are now grown, most with children of their own, and there are even grandchildren, stretching out her legacy farther than she could have ever dreamed. The old queen's time grows short though, leaving all with a feeling that she's not long bound for this earth. Tragedy struck in Sarabi's twilight years, when Mufasa was unexpectedly killed by a rogue lion named Nyekundu. Heart broken, she passed rulership of the pride to her daughter, Kamilika, and now lays listlessly in the den, waiting for death so she might join her mate and love. Title: Princess
Personality: Kiuma is very sadistic, meaning she likes to cause pain in others. Be it physical pain, mental, or emotional. As a cub, she took pleasure in torturing small animals. As an adult, she likes to bully others around, even get into fights just to prove that she's the better lion. She has a great wanderlust, and her dream is to travel the world and meet new prides. The Firekin is high on her list, as she's always had a fascination with them, mostly to do with her own red coat. To temper her sadistic mind a little bit is Kiuma's love of her home and the Prideland's pride. She's extremely patriotic, stemming from when she was a cub and her dislike of all the rogues flooding into join the pride. To Kiuma, no place is better than the Pridelands, and she feels an obligation to the lions that make up the Pride, even if she's not destined to be Queen. Kiuma also loves her family above all else. She'd gladly die for any of them. She's prickly to most other lions, but is affectionate towards her cubs. Her abandonment by her mate has left her jaded, with a cynical view of males, and burning resentment she tries to hide.
Bio: Born to Mufasa and Sarabi, Kiuma was a wanderer from an early age, dragging her twin all over the Pridelands in her need to explore. She earned a rather shady reputation for liking to torture anything she could get her paws on, from bugs to birds, to injured prey animals twice her size. Her torture didn't stop with non-lions, though she always kept that to a mind-game rather than drawing blood. From her earliest memories, Kiuma always hated the influx of rogues into the Pridelands, fiercely loyal to her pride and seeing them as tarnishing the Pride with their dirty rogue blood. She tried to drive away as many as she could, but to little avail.
Upon reaching adolescence and finding sucess in her first hunt, she left the Pridelands with her twin to fulfill one of their dreams; to explore the lands surrounding their home. Their first stop was the Kusini'Mwezi pride, where to her shock, Kiuma found that her brother had sired a cub on the princess. Heartbroken and feeling betrayed, she left him there to strike out on her own. It wasn't long after that destiny found her in the form of a white fallen god with a tattered wing. He joined her in her travels as they visited the Mistweavers, moving North up through the Elephant graveyard to pick up two cubs that amused Tanaka. A fight with his brother brought some interesting things to light for Kiuma, and there among the bones the two became mates. While traveling to the desert and the Firekin, the pair found Kiuma to be pregnant.
Relations with her brother were further strained when the two met again in the desert and Kiuma let loose with all the hurt she'd felt since they'd parted. Done with the desert and the elusive pride, Kiuma and Tanaka finally headed back to the Pridelands Kiuma hadn't visited since she'd left, there to bear five healthy cubs. Shortly after their birth, a rogue lion killed Kiuma's father. In a rage, she tracked down Nyekundu and killed him, but tensions arose between her and Tanaka over her leaving him behind with the cub. When the cubs were juveniles, the happy family came to a tragic end when Tanaka's brother Mrost stole Kali. Devestated, Tanaka became cold and violent, shunning his family to chaise after his brother and daughter. After a futile attempt to follow, Kiuma was left behind, lost and uncertain of what to do.
On her way home, she picked up a starved adolescent lioness named Baala. The two became friends of a sort, and when Kiuma decided to leave the Pridelands again, Baala could not be parted from her. Their relationship deepened as they traveled, and they picked up Liza (a male that thinks females rule the world) as a follower/servant allong the way. Kiuma and Baala's relationship was further cemented when Baala was attacked and raped by an insane male, though no one knows that it was Kiuma's own nephew, Damu. In an abrupt decision to join Baala in motherhood, Kiuma used a brief meeting with the rogue, Al-Hattal, to get herself with cubs, and hopes that they will come out to look like a blending of herself and Baala.
Baala's cubs were born healthy, but Baala herself did not feel she could be a good mother to them and left them with the Kunanda pride. Kiuma raged against it, but could do little. With her own coming cubs to think of, she decided to start her own pride, one ruled and populated by only females. She was joined by her great neice Azhara and a rogue female, Kannah. They search now for a suitable place for the new pride.

Personality: Matsai wears a mask of ice, hiding his true feelings to the point that it becomes a part of who he is. He doesn't like anyone to get too close, or see too deeply into who or what he is. Outside, he shows little to no emotion, giving away nothing of what he's thinking till the words leave his mouth. Inside, he is all but bi-polar, feeling everything to the extreme and beyond, yet its because of this that he hides it. Only his twin, Ahaiyuta, has any idea that there might be more to Matsai than he lets on.
Dreams that plagued him when he slept as a cub faded as he grew, till he can sleep most nights through in blessed oblivion. Touching another creature while awake still bring visions, varying depending on who he touches. Gods can knock him out with the force of their visions, but his twin brings him, thankfully, no visions at all, making Ahai his one pillar of peace in his chaotic world.
The dreams that still occasionally come when he isn't touching someone are no longer chaotic, but filled with the sight of Verdad, the orange female he struck up a strange sort of friendship with as a cub. He's become obessed with her now, claiming that she belongs to him, even though he feels no need to become her official mate or treat her in any way as a lover. She is just 'his', and he's loathe to let anyone else have her.
Bio: Matsai had a fairly normal cubhood, as far as his demi-godhood allowed. He played with his brothers and learned to hunt, met a few other lions. The biggest tragedy in his life came early with the death of his grandfather, Mufasa. After that, things began to change quickly, till the day his sister was cubnapped by Mrost. His parents left him behind in the safety of the pride, but neither he nor his twin was content to be left behind. They set out on their own, just grown into adolescence, to search for their parents.
They were unsucessful, left far behind, so they finally turned back to return to the Pridelands, wandering a bit along the way to see some of the places they'd heard stories about as cubs. They ran into their mother along the way, but when she wouldn't return with them, they continued on alone. Life in the Pridelands is much as they'd left it, but the peace doesn't sit easily with the pair that had done and seen so much at a young age. Matsai has begun to spend time with Verdad again, but he and his brother have begun to think of leaving the Pridelands like their mother did.

Personality: Ushu is a kind lion, though a bit full of himself sometimes. He gets along well with others, even though he tends to think more about what he wants than what anyone else wants. He's big into doing things for the fun of it, and doesn't much care for chores or things that aren't so fun to do. He's starting to develop a fascination with females, and works hard to impress them.
Bio: Son of Rehani & Denahi's second litter, grandchild to Sarabi & Mufasa. He was a sweet boy, though as wild and unruly as any young boy. His actions held promise, though, of maturing into a fine lion when he was older, chivalrus and noble. He liked to wander the Pridelands, enjoying most playing games and chaising things like bugs.
Around his coming-of-age, he took a interest in females, prompted on by his ladies'-man brother, Ezeoha. It proved to be his undoing, as he had a short fling with a pretty lioness, Mut'salama, that ended with her carrying his cubs. Shocked and shamed, he fled the Pridelands and gave up any connection to his former life, taking up a new position as a Royal Guard in the North House and gaining a new name, Shu Ming. He's a dedicated protector, and takes joy now in the simple things he shunned as a younger lion.

Personality: Bluu is a happy-go-lucky creature. She believes that life was made for her enjoyment, as is everything in it. Therefore, why let the little things get to her? Its all just a big joke the gods are playing on them, just waiting for the puny mortals to laugh. And laugh Bluu does, long and hard.
This hyena is a loner, liking travel as a way to seize life in her jaws like a prey animal. Those who meet her may find her strange, but few will find themselves on the wrong end of her fangs. She just doesn't see a point to fighting, prefering not to make the effort.
Bio: Bluu doesn't have much background, at least, that she'll talk about. She lives firmly in the present, refusing to dwell on the past or think of the furture. She's currently wandering and can turn up in some of the oddest places.

Personality: Being alone for so long as left Ryuuko with an air of sadness and vulnerability to match his delicate and fragile body. Gentle and kind to a fault, he's a tad reserved and quiet. There is something otherwordly and spiritual about him, though he has yet to find his true calling and purpose in life. He seeks always for a home, a place where he can observe the happy lives of those around him, and offer some little bit of usefulness. He doesn't look for a family himself, believing that he's unworthy of one, thus why his mother was taken from him.
Bio: Having lost his mother at a critical age, he's been forced to live out his life as a scavenger and beggar, always alone and always hiding to protect himself from bigger and stronger predators. Fire & Ice Breath- ability to breathe super heated or super cold air, for use with making items, such as forging metal.
Adamant claws- Her claws are able to cut any material found on earth
Problem solving- ability to imagine and make an object that will fulfill a specific need. Attempts to create objects that interfere with another gods' domains fail unless the project is supported by that god.
Feather crafting- feathers collected from gods and incorborated into an object retain some of that god's abilities. They can also be used to create something that isn't normally possible with an ordinary feather, such as cloth, beads, or bands. Feathers are collected with the permission of the god they are from. Discarded feathers and feathers taken against their will become ordinary mortal feathers.
Raw Material- Bits of the goddess obey her whim when removed to create an object. Tears and blood become precious gems, feathers become metals. Lost bits are regrown by the next day.
Extraordinary strength- While unable to match the god of strength, her physical strength far exceeds any mortal, and can be matched by few gods.

Personality: Sanaa is a typical 'scientist'. She likes picking things apart to see how they work and making things to see if she can solve the challenge of them. She is very analytical, always thinking and studying, but it can lead her to over-looking or forgetting to see the more simple aspects of life, especially in regards to mortals. She is obsessed with creating things and solving challenges, in making something that is perfect for the purpose it was made for. She can be blunt, rough, and even absent minded, caring little about the more spiritual or emotional side of things. All that exists for her are the things she creates and her greatest goal is to make something living, despite the domain of life being held by Mkodi.
She will often give out gifts of the jewelry and items she makes, but prefers that there be an even exchange of raw material for finished objects. The goddess of greed, Ubuge, is as close to a friend as she has, and is her most loyal customer.
Bio: Sanaa was a great crafter many centuries ago, supplying the jewelry and armour the gods so loved to wear. A little over a century ago, she disappeared into her volcanic mountain to focus on a project that took her a hundred years to finish. In that time, the colony of helpers and worshipers that lived with her slowly died out or wandered off, till the goddess and her wonders were all but forgotten.
Recently, Sanaa 'awoke' from her long isolation and came to the surface, finding everything she once knew changed and her worshipers disappeared. Her volcano has started to smoke and rumble again as the goddess begins to work. Without her helpers though, she is often forced to stopped and gather material for her projects, which annoys her to no end. When she can, she'll pick up creatures to work for her, giving them the run of her great system of caverns inside her volcano and their pick of her creations, in return for the gathering and organizing of raw material.

Personality: Shai is, literally, insane. She's prone to mood swings and is easily distracted, going from soft and naive to cruel and sadistic at the bat of an eye. She seems entirely unaware of herself, getting injuries she doesn't remember getting, or even inflicting them on herself with masochistic pleasure. The only time she even approaches being normal is when she's hunting, turning into a ruthless killing machine, or when her life is in danger, showing a mind that's cunning and merciless.
Bio: It is said that when Drakul destroyed his former pride, that he took the young females and made them part of his harem, taking them with him as he made his new pride. Its hard to say if Shaitani was one of those females, or one that he found on his travels. With his death, that secret died with him. Shai is hard to pin down with questions, and almost seems to not remember her own past. For her, was is at the moment, -is-.
She was only vaguely aware of the passing of the queen and most of the pride, and then, only because she saw the old queen as competition for Drakkul's affection. Upon meeting a pair of rogues in the jungle, she managed to be stable enough to initiate them into the ways of the Coven and lead them to the dying pride, where they took over as king and queen. Back to her random lifestyle, Shai replaced Drakkul with Moses, tending to consider them the same lion. Thus, her slavish devotion passed to him.
Recently, she found a handsome red male wandering the jungle at night and played the Siren for him, luring him to spend the night with her. The result was the birth of four cubs, which Afritti promptly took from her to raise herself when Shai displayed her instability in trying to cut the 'worms' out of her stomach.

Personality: Mzawa has a bit of a hero complex. He thinks of himself as everyone's knight in shining armour. As such, he lives to 'rescue' others, even if what he does wouldn't be considered rescueing by anyone but himself. He also doesn't seem to be able to understand when someone doesn't want to be rescued, or that he's in the wrong (which he firmly believes that he never is). Lots of good intensions, very little common sense, and stubbornly pig-headed to boot.
