It had been some time since she had last searched out the lioness whom Ubuge classed strangely as friend. She didn't have friuends usually, she had servants and lovers, friends were strange things and she didn't rerally require them. Sanaa though, the goddess of crafting, she was Ubuges friend. The main reason of course for this friendship was that Sanaa made things, beautiful things from the smallest and silliest of things.
She had something magical though, something too wonderfula nd beautiful for words and she needed Sanaa to craft it in to something, anything, somehting beautiful with which she could pose. Pausing for a moment she checked beneath the fox like fur and peered in to the bag of infinity laying beneath. yes, it was still there, that beautiful feather, reminder of her experience with the god of pleasure. Ohh how desperately she needed it to be crafted, to become something for her to display with the rest of her enturage.
Speeding up, she could move strangely fast considering how large and bulky her body was she padded towards Sanaas favourite spot, oh she hoped the goddess was there, this was an urgent matter after all! She must have the feather turned in to something beautiful, she must!

Sanaa was, for once, not crafting something. Instead, she lay sprawled out at the peak of her volcano, on the rim of its smoking mouth. The sun beat down on her golden form and she was quite enjoying it, her body stretched out on the heated rock and all her wings spread to catch the light and heat. Basking in the sun like this was a past time she enjoyed, when she wasn't fulfilling her purpose in life.
The area around her boiled with heat, the air rippling upwards. With the sun to beat down on it, unblocked by the clouds that wreathed the volcano's lower slopes, and the head of the magma bubbling down below, the place was an oven, just as Sanaa liked it with her high tolerance for heat.
The goddess herself was half asleep at the moment, her mind wandering over many varied things without stopping on anything in particular. It was rare for the mind, always so orderly, to be allowed to run wild, and it took full advantage. They weren't really dreams, and they weren't visions, but they weren't under the goddess's control either.

Ubuge looked up as her dark paws touched the volcanic rock and ash which surrounded Saanas lair. She grinned as she saw that flash of gold in the sunlight. Well that to say the least was a blessing. "Sanaa!" She called in her high, horty tones. "Sanaa, Dahling! Come down will you?" She beams, her dark eyes flashing in the bright sunlight.
"Sanaa dahling I have soemthing special for you!" Her voice puurrs her tongue lapping out greedily over her dark lips. This beautiful feather of Lims would become onfe of her most exquisite adornments, she just knew it!

The call jerked Sanaa out of her sleep, her head rising a rather bemused expression. The voice was familiar, but she hadn't hears it in... well, a century. "Wot?" She murmured as she rocked onto her stomach and rose, padding to the edge of her resting place. Peering down, her eyes widened as she smiled, her great wings flaring out in greeting.
Leaping from her perch, she soared on the wind to circle lower, touching down lightly before the darker goddess. "Ubuge!" She laughed as she flicked her wings shut, her many decorations tinkling. She actually wasn't all that different than Ubuge, in how many they wore... though hers were more for convenience than because of a greed for them. "Well now, its certainly good to see my best 'customer'." She chuckled. "Its been far too long... Hmm? Something special for me?" The golden goddess caught that statement finally, leaning in with an eager expression. This goddess always brought the best things to work with. "What is it?"

"Dahling, you will simply go insane when you see what I have for you this time." She smirked, those dark, beady eyes full of delight. As the goddess landed she greeted the golden goddess as a sister acctually showing some sort of affection in a brush of her cheek against the others. "It has been far too long dahling but I come bearing a most wonderful gift!"
She beamed her small piggie eyes almost vanishing beneath her pudgy cheeks so pleased was she to be bringing her favourite person an item to become her next trinket.
Sitting slowly she moved the fox like fur from around her throat to reveal the glistening silken bag beneath. Reaching in to this seemingly tiny bag the goddess pulled from it a feather, a very long beautiful multicoloured feather which shimmered in the sun.
"A feather from the god of Pleasure. Isn't it beautiful dahling?" She held the feather out to the golden goddess, a puurr radiating from her chest. "You'll make me something wonderful won't you?" She looked at Sanaa almost pleadingly. "You know you're the only one I trust with such things."

Sanaa returned the touch with a gruff purr, rubbing to Ubuge's pudgy cheek with her own. Her purr sounded like rocks grinding, but it was very obviously a pleased sort of sound. The goddess of greed was as close to a friend as Sanaa had, even if she only came to her for more items to hoard.
The green-eyed goddess watched avidly as the black one pulled something from the pouch around her neck. Ah, yes, so she still had that trinket...
The pouch of infinity, such a find memory for Sanaa. Crafted from a few of Ubuge's own feathers, it was as bottomless as Ubuge's own greed, a perfect match for the goddess. It was perfect in every way, a source of eternal pride to the goddess of crafting.
The feather that was pulled from it drew her attention immediently and Sanaa tensed, almost trembling with a sudden and intense need for the feather. She took it delicately from Ubuge with another rumbling purr, holding it in her golden claws as she stroked it with her real ones.
"God of Pleasure, eh? Oh, Ubuge, you have certainly outdone yourself this time... You tempt me terribly." She slanted a sly glance at the goddess with a smile. "You know you don't even have to ask me, waving such a treasure before my eyes... how could I not make something wonderful from it?" A rare laugh broke from her as she fell to studying the feather, her tongue sliding over her maw.
"Did you have anything in particular in mind for this...?" There were a million and one things Sanaa could make from the feather, but some direction on what Ubuge would like best would be a help.

Ubuge's smile grew wider, if that was indeed possible for the large goddess, she absorbed the feeling of want from the other goddess, though it was not a deep greed, she knew how much the feather would mean to the golden goddess, after all, she had provided Ubuge with most, if not all of her trinkets through the years.
She watched her newest gem as it was filtered between those delecate paws of the other goddess, her beady black eyes watching as the beautiful feather was wafted before her. "I trust you dahling. I know you will make somehting wonderful out of it." She coos her tail flickering, "Besides, you know i love your surprises!"

The golden goddess laughed as she waved the feather gently, feeling it catch the wind as it passed. She was already briming with ideas, her mind whirling with possibilities.
"I'm thinking that, whatever I make this into, it will bring pleasure to those who touch it. Perhaps a feeling of good will, or maybe... a lowering of inhibitions? You certainly wouldn't need to worry on that if you wore it, but if you put it on a mortal... it would silence that voice that tells them not to do something, to hold back." Her smile grew as she worked out her idea. "Yes... wearing this time for however long would lower their morals and boost their greed. Which, I believe, would you please you?" A chuckle rolled from the goddess at the perfection of the idea. It would both serve the goddess she made it for and make the most of its origin.
"I don't expect you'll want to permanently give this to anyone, but it could be helpful to you to lend it for a short time." Sanaa nodded as she slid the feather into the pouch around her own neck, its properties much the same as Ubuge's, though it was made from some of Sanaa's feathers and fit her needs better.

Ubuge's smile widened, those small piggy eyes almost vanishing in her rolls of fat, that glimmer though, that feeling of greed to own such an item, shimmered and made her dark eyes seem like tiny stars between the dark folds.
"darling, you always know how to please a girl." She purured happily and gave a slow purposeful nod. "Make it so my friend, make it in to an item that I may posess that I can let a mortal borrow and have them owe me for it's powers." She chuckles happily.
She paused though in her excitement, calming herself, for she knew that the bad thing would have to happen first. "And what my darling Sanaa will this wonderous item cost to make? You know I'm just a poor soul." She smirked, it was a little running joke, for she knew she was far from poor, she just hated to give up anything she owned perminantly.

Sanaa blinked as the subject of cost was raised, looking a little clueless for a moment before she focused on the question, remembering what they were talking about. That's right, she usually asked for something in return for making something.
Green eyes narrowed in thought, running through the list of things she needed. Materials, of course, but she knew that by her very nature, Ubuge wasn't the best to ask for an equal return of items. Better, to ask for a service. With that, an idea bloomed inside Sanaa's mind and a smile broke out over her face.
"I have nothing I need right at the moment, but I'll propose this to you. In return for making you this item, I ask only for a favor, to be called in at some future date. Perhaps, give me a trinket to hold onto, and when I need the promised favor, I shall return that trinket to you. Does that sound satisfactory?" Sanaa smiled in satisfaction at the solution to her dilema, settling back to sit on her haunches as her tail flicked gently back and forth. Yes. a favor would be much more useful to her than forcing Ubuge to give her something.

Ubuge pursed her lips. A favour. Well, she could hardly say no now could she, not if she wanted her beautiful feather. Which trinket though to part with for any time? One of near worthlessness, one that she used to tempt others when they felt the urge to feel greed.
Opening her satchell once more she pulled out a rather simple ring. Clearly made of copper, the band green from time sitting in rain or perhaps in some lake. The stone in the center some sort of fake emerald. Glass and a little sparkly. She held out the little thing almost disgustedly, shehad put many a spell on this little trinkett over the years to tempt those whom couldn't see through their own greedy eyes.
"Here you are darling. Call my name to it and I shall come. You know I cannot break a bargain and why would I want to?" She smirked happily "You give me such wonderful things!"

"Of course." Sanaa murmured as she took the ring, almost whincing at the feel of it in her paw. It needed a good polish and a little care... and would probably be returned to Ubuge in better repair than it was now, knowing the golden goddess.
"Its always nice to do buisness with you, Ubuge." Sanaa purred as she slipped the ring into her own bottomless pouch, letting it disappear into the organized chaos inside. It would come to her when she needed it, though she didn't know how or when she would. "You bring me such wonderful things." Her expression was amused as she echoed the other's words.
"Well, I shall get to work then. I'll use the ring to call you once I've finished with the feather, unless you care to stay nearby till then. I have an idea what I want to do." Her voice was already distracted and distant, more focused on the job at hand than on her guest. Turning, she headed down the mountain side to her den and work room, ring and feather safely within her pouch.

Ubuge smiled, a very pleased smile barely saying good bye to the golden goddess as she flitted away to do her thing. Looking around the great volcanoes side she raised a brow, no, there was no place to relax here, it was hot and the ground was hard, she would get on with her buisness and return.
Padding off down the mountains side the huge, obese goddess waddled away, clearly pleased with the days work, even if she was a little purturbed because she owed someone a favour, it was a small price to pay for the wonderful creation she would get from Sanaa.
Letting out a heavy sigh she stretched her four wings as far as they would go and vaished in to the gloom. Those of greed called her name and it was time for her to answer them now that her own greed was at least, partially quenched.
